The torsion of an infinite non-homogeneous elastic cylindrical fiber, containing a penny-shaped crack embedded in an infinite non-homogeneous elastic material is considered. The cylinder and elastic medium have different shear moduli. Using integral transformation techniques the solution of the problem is reduced to the solution of dual integral equations. Later on the solution of the dual integral equations is transformed into the solution of a Fredholm integral equation of the second kind, which is solved numerically. Closed form expressions are obtained for the stress intensity factor and numerical values for the stress intensity factors are graphed to demonstrate the effect of non-homogeneity of the fiber and infinite medium. In the end the stress singularity is obtained when the crack touches the infinite non-homogeneous medium (matrix).  相似文献

通过引入含16个待定实系数和两个实应力奇异指数的应力函数,再借助边界条件,得到了两个八元非齐次线性方程组.求解该方程组,在双材料工程参数满足适当条件下,确定了两个实应力奇异指数.根据极限唯一性定理,求出了全部系数,得到了应力函数的表示式.代入相应的力学公式,推出了当特征方程组两个判别式都小于0时,每种材料的裂纹尖端应力强度因子、应力场和位移场的理论解.裂纹尖端附近的应力和位移有混合型断裂特征,但没有振荡奇异性和裂纹面相互嵌入现象作为特例,当两种正交异性材料相同时,可以推出正交异性单材料Ⅱ型断裂的应力奇异指数、应力强度因子公式、应力场、位移场表示式.  相似文献

A boundary element method for the transient thermoelastic fracture analysis in isotropic, continuously non-homogeneous and linear elastic functionally graded materials subjected to a thermal shock is presented. The material parameters are assumed to be continuous functions of the Cartesian coordinates. Laplace-domain fundamental solutions of linear coupled thermoelasticity for infinite, isotropic, homogeneous and linear elastic solids are applied to derive the boundary-domain integral equation formulation. The numerical implementation is performed by using a collocation method for the spatial discretization. Numerical results for the dynamic stress intensity factors are presented and discussed. Crack analysis of linear coupled thermoelasticity in two-dimensional, isotropic, non-homogeneous and linear elastic functionally graded materials subjected to thermal shock is performed by using a boundary-domain element method. The material parameters are assumed to be continuous functions of the spatial coordinates. Fundamental solutions of linear coupled thermoelasticity for the corresponding isotropic, homogeneous and linear elastic solids in Laplace-transformed domain are applied in the boundary-domain integral formulation. A collocation method is implemented for the numerical solution. Numerical examples for an exponential gradation of the material parameters are presented and discussed. A numerical method is established for computing the weakly lower semicontinuous envelope of integral functionals with non-quasiconvex integrands. The convergence of the method is proved and it is shown that the method is capable of capturing curved and non-homogeneous microstructures. Numerical examples are given to show the effectiveness of the method for capturing curved and non-homogeneous laminated microstructures.  相似文献

We study average case tractability of non-homogeneous tensor product problems with the absolute error criterion. We consider algorithms that use finitely many evaluations of arbitrary linear functionals. For general non-homogeneous tensor product problems, we obtain the matching necessary and sufficient conditions for strong polynomial tractability in terms of the one-dimensional eigenvalues. We give some examples to show that strong polynomial tractability is not equivalent to polynomial tractability, and polynomial tractability is not equivalent to quasi-polynomial tractability. But for non-homogeneous tensor product problems with decreasing eigenvalues, we prove that strong polynomial tractability is always equivalent to polynomial tractability, and strong polynomial tractability is even equivalent to quasi-polynomial tractability when the one-dimensional largest eigenvalues are less than one. In particular, we find an example that quasi-polynomial tractability with the absolute error criterion is not equivalent to that with the normalized error criterion even if all the one-dimensional largest eigenvalues are one. Finally we consider a special class of non-homogeneous tensor product problems with improved monotonicity condition of the eigenvalues.  相似文献

Failures in repairable systems are often described by means of non-homogeneous Poisson processes, identified by their intensity and mean value functions. Intervention on the systems are likely to modify their reliability, and changes in intensities and mean value functions are therefore induced. We consider different scenarios in which interventions take places and propose models describing each of them. Bayesian analyses, relying on Markov-chain Monte Carlo methods, are illustrated along with applications to simulated and real, widely-known, data.  相似文献

Motivated by problems arising in time-dependent queues and dynamic systems with random environment, this work develops moderate deviations principles for dynamic systems driven by a fast-varying non-homogeneous Markov chain in continuous time. A distinct feature is that the Markov chain is time dependent or inhomogeneous, so are the dynamic systems. Under irreducibility of the non-homogeneous Markov chain, moderate deviations of a non-homogeneous functional are established first. With the help of a martingale problem formulation and a functional central limit theorem for the two timescale system, both upper and lower bounds of moderate deviations are obtained for the rapidly fluctuating Markovian systems. Then applications to queueing systems and dynamic systems modulated by a fast-varying Markov chain are examined.  相似文献

To solve the problem that traditional grey models were constructed on the hypothesis that the original data sequence is in accord with homogeneous index trend rather than non-homogeneous index trend. A novel grey forecasting model based on non-homogeneous index sequence approximately (abbreviated as NDGM) is proposed. It is proved that the models based on homogeneous index sequence are all special cases that of non-homogeneous index sequence. The recursive function of the NDGM model is proposed and the forecasting precision of the model based on pure non-homogeneous index sequence is discussed and the affine properties of the model are further studied. Finally, one numerical case is used to show the effective results of the proposed model.  相似文献

As an analog of the Poisson limit theorem for a homogeneous Markov chain recurring to small cylindrical sets, a Poisson limit theorem is given for the non-homogeneous Markov chain. This paper gives basic definitions and properties related to what we call the non-homogeneous semi-Markov processes with a finite number of states using the formalism of counting processes, i.e. with intensity functions. We show how it is possible to get generalized Polya processes as a very particular case. <正>In this paper,a class of new immersed interface finite element methods (IIFEM) is developed to solve elasticity interface problems with homogeneous and non-homogeneous jump conditions in two dimensions.Simple non-body-fitted meshes are used.For homogeneous jump conditions,both non-conforming and conforming basis functions are constructed in such a way that they satisfy the natural jump conditions. For non-homogeneous jump conditions,a pair of functions that satisfy the same non-homogeneous jump conditions are constructed using a level-set representation of the interface.With such a pair of functions,the discontinuities across the interface in the solution and flux are removed;and an equivalent elasticity interface problem with homogeneous jump conditions is formulated.Numerical examples are presented to demonstrate that such methods have second order convergence.  相似文献

The space-time fractional Poisson process (STFPP), defined by Orsingher and Poilto (2012), is a generalization of the time fractional Poisson process (TFPP) and the space fractional Poisson process (SFPP). We study the fractional generalization of the non-homogeneous Poisson process and call it the non-homogeneous space-time fractional Poisson process (NHSTFPP). We compute their pmf and generating function and investigate the associated differential equation. The limit theorems for the NHSTFPP process are studied. We study the distributional properties, the asymptotic expansion of the correlation function of the non-homogeneous time fractional Poisson process (NHTFPP) and subsequently investigate the long-range dependence (LRD) property of a special NHTFPP. We investigate the limit theorem for the fractional non-homogeneous Poisson process (FNHPP) studied by Leonenko et al. (2014). Finally, we present some simulated sample paths of the NHSTFPP process.  相似文献
