We give both necessary and sufficient conditions for a random variable to be represented as a pathwise stochastic integral with respect to fractional Brownian motion with an adapted integrand. We also show that any random variable is a value of such integral in an improper sense and that such integral can have any prescribed distribution. We discuss some applications of these results, in particular, to fractional Black–Scholes model of financial market.  相似文献

In this article we introduce cylindrical fractional Brownian motions in Banach spaces and develop the related stochastic integration theory. Here a cylindrical fractional Brownian motion is understood in the classical framework of cylindrical random variables and cylindrical measures. The developed stochastic integral for deterministic operator valued integrands is based on a series representation of the cylindrical fractional Brownian motion, which is analogous to the Karhunen–Loève expansion for genuine stochastic processes. In the last part we apply our results to study the abstract stochastic Cauchy problem in a Banach space driven by cylindrical fractional Brownian motion.  相似文献

We consider a general class of continuous asset price models where the drift and the volatility functions, as well as the driving Brownian motions, change at a random time ττ. Under minimal assumptions on the random time and on the driving Brownian motions, we study the behavior of the model in all the filtrations which naturally arise in this setting, establishing martingale representation results and characterizing the validity of the NA1 and NFLVR no-arbitrage conditions.  相似文献

This article studies quadratic semimartingale BSDEs arising in power utility maximization when the market price of risk is of BMO type. In a Brownian setting we provide a necessary and sufficient condition for the existence of a solution but show that uniqueness fails to hold in the sense that there exists a continuum of distinct square-integrable solutions. This feature occurs since, contrary to the classical Itô representation theorem, a representation of random variables in terms of stochastic exponentials is not unique. We study in detail when the BSDE has a bounded solution and derive a new dynamic exponential moments condition which is shown to be the minimal sufficient condition in a general filtration. The main results are complemented by several interesting examples which illustrate their sharpness as well as important properties of the utility maximization BSDE.  相似文献

In this paper we discuss existence and uniqueness results for BSDEs driven by centered Gaussian processes. Compared to the existing literature on Gaussian BSDEs, which mainly treats fractional Brownian motion with Hurst parameter H>1/2H>1/2, our main contributions are: (i) Our results cover a wide class of Gaussian processes as driving processes including fractional Brownian motion with arbitrary Hurst parameter H∈(0,1)H(0,1); (ii) the assumptions on the generator ff are mild and include e.g. the case when ff has (super-)quadratic growth in zz; (iii) the proofs are based on transferring the problem to an auxiliary BSDE driven by a Brownian motion.  相似文献

This paper studies game-type credit default swaps that allow the protection buyer and seller to raise or reduce their respective positions once prior to default. This leads to the study of an optimal stopping game subject to early default termination. Under a structural credit risk model based on spectrally negative Lévy processes, we apply the principles of smooth and continuous fit to identify the equilibrium exercise strategies for the buyer and the seller. We then rigorously prove the existence of the Nash equilibrium and compute the contract value at equilibrium. Numerical examples are provided to illustrate the impacts of default risk and other contractual features on the players’ exercise timing at equilibrium.  相似文献

For a mixed stochastic differential equation driven by independent fractional Brownian motions and Wiener processes, the existence and integrability of the Malliavin derivative of the solution are established. It is also proved that the solution possesses exponential moments.  相似文献

In a previous paper, we studied the ergodic properties of an Euler scheme of a stochastic differential equation with a Gaussian additive noise in order to approximate the stationary regime of such an equation. We now consider the case of multiplicative noise when the Gaussian process is a fractional Brownian motion with Hurst parameter H>1/2H>1/2 and obtain some (functional) convergence properties of some empirical measures of the Euler scheme to the stationary solutions of such SDEs.  相似文献

We construct a sequence of processes that converges strongly to fractional Brownian motion uniformly on bounded intervals for any Hurst parameter HH, and we derive a rate of convergence, which becomes better when HH approaches 1/21/2. The construction is based on the Mandelbrot–van Ness stochastic integral representation of fractional Brownian motion and on a strong transport process approximation of Brownian motion. The objective of this method is to facilitate simulation.  相似文献

We modify the Hu-Øksendal and Elliot-van der Hoek approach to arbitrage-free financial markets driven by a fractional Brownian motion that is defined on a white noise space. We deduce and solve a Black–Scholes fractional equation for constant volatility and outline the corresponding equation with stochastic volatility. As an auxiliary result, we produce some simple conditions implying the existence of the Wick integral w.r.t. fractional noise.  相似文献

Viability for differential equations driven by fractional Brownian motion   总被引:1,自引:0,他引:1
In this paper we prove a viability result for multidimensional, time dependent, stochastic differential equations driven by fractional Brownian motion with Hurst parameter , using pathwise approach. The sufficient condition is also an alternative global existence result for the fractional differential equations with restrictions on the state.  相似文献

We consider a fluid model fed by two Gaussian processes. We obtain necessary and sufficient conditions for the workload asymptotics to be completely determined by one of the two processes, and apply these results to the case of two fractional Brownian motions.  相似文献

In this paper we provide existence and uniqueness results for the solution of BSDEs driven by a general square-integrable martingale under partial information. We discuss some special cases where the solution to a BSDE under restricted information can be derived by that related to a problem of a BSDE under full information. In particular, we provide a suitable version of the Föllmer–Schweizer decomposition of a square-integrable random variable working under partial information and we use this achievement to investigate the local risk-minimization approach for a semimartingale financial market model.  相似文献

We construct fractional Brownian motion, sub-fractional Brownian motion and negative sub-fractional Brownian motion by means of limiting procedures applied to some particle systems. These processes are obtained for full ranges of Hurst parameter.  相似文献

By using chaos expansion into multiple stochastic integrals, we make a wavelet analysis of two self-similar stochastic processes: the fractional Brownian motion and the Rosenblatt process. We study the asymptotic behavior of the statistic based on the wavelet coefficients of these processes. Basically, when applied to a non-Gaussian process (such as the Rosenblatt process) this statistic satisfies a non-central limit theorem even when we increase the number of vanishing moments of the wavelet function. We apply our limit theorems to construct estimators for the self-similarity index and we illustrate our results by simulations.  相似文献

The problem of nonlinear filtering of multiparameter random fields, observed in the presence of a long-range dependent spatial noise, is considered. When the observation noise is modelled by a persistent fractional Wiener sheet, several pathwise representations of the optimal filter are derived. The representations involve series of multiple stochastic integrals of different types and are particularly important since the evolution equations, satisfied by the best mean-square estimate of the signal random field, have a complicated analytical structure and fail to be proper (measure-valued) stochastic partial differential equations. Several of the above optimal filter representations involve a new family of strong martingale transforms associated to the multiparameter fractional Brownian sheet; the latter martingale family is of independent interest in fractional stochastic calculus of multiparameter random fields.  相似文献

Fractional tempered stable motion (fTSm) is defined and studied. FTSm has the same covariance structure as fractional Brownian motion, while having tails heavier than Gaussian ones but lighter than (non-Gaussian) stable ones. Moreover, in short time it is close to fractional stable Lévy motion, while it is approximately fractional Brownian motion in long time. A series representation of fTSm is derived and used for simulation and to study some of its sample paths properties.  相似文献

We consider the optimal financing and dividend control problem of the insurance company with fixed and proportional transaction costs. The management of the company controls the reinsurance rate, dividends payout as well as the equity issuance process to maximize the expected present value of the dividends payout minus the equity issuance until the time of bankruptcy. This is the first time that the financing process in an insurance model with two kinds of transaction costs, which come from real financial market has been considered. We solve the mixed classical-impulse control problem by constructing two categories of suboptimal models, one is the classical model without equity issuance, the other never goes bankrupt by equity issuance.  相似文献

This paper studies drawdown and drawup processes in a general diffusion model. The main result is a formula for the joint distribution of the running minimum and the running maximum of the process stopped at the time of the first drop of size aa. As a consequence, we obtain the probabilities that a drawdown of size aa precedes a drawup of size bb and vice versa. The results are applied to several examples of diffusion processes, such as drifted Brownian motion, Ornstein–Uhlenbeck process, and Cox–Ingersoll–Ross process.  相似文献
