The (Nörlund) logarithmic means of the Fourier series is: . In general, the Fejér (C,1) means have better properties than the logarithmic ones. We compare them and show that in the case of some unbounded Vilenkin systems the situation changes.

Previously obtained results for convergence and localization of multiple trigonometric Fourier series for functions from classes of bounded Λ-variation and embedding of these classes into each other are strengthened in the paper. The case when sequences Λ and M have a limit of the ratio Σ n=1 N 1/λ n /Σ n=1 N 1/µ n is considered. We study certain vector valued Eisenstein series on the metaplectic cover of SL2(ℝ), which transform with the Weil representation associated with the discriminant group of an even lattice L. We find a closed formula for the Fourier coefficients in terms of Dirichlet L-series and representation numbers of L modulo “bad” primes. Such Eisenstein series naturally occur in the context of Borcherds' theory of automorphic products.
We indicate some applications to modular forms on the orthogonal group of L with zeros on Heegner divisors.

The convolution powers of a perverse sheaf on an abelian variety define an interesting family of branched local systems whose geometry is still poorly understood. We show that the generating series for their generic rank is a rational function of a very simple shape and that a similar result holds for the symmetric convolution powers. We also give formulae for other Schur functors in terms of characteristic classes on the dual abelian variety, and as an example we discuss the case of Prym–Tjurin varieties. 相似文献
