In this article, the homotopy analysis method is applied to solve nonlinear fractional partial differential equations. On the basis of the homotopy analysis method, a scheme is developed to obtain the approximate solution of the fractional KdV, K(2,2), Burgers, BBM‐Burgers, cubic Boussinesq, coupled KdV, and Boussinesq‐like B(m,n) equations with initial conditions, which are introduced by replacing some integer‐order time derivatives by fractional derivatives. The homotopy analysis method for partial differential equations of integer‐order is directly extended to derive explicit and numerical solutions of the fractional partial differential equations. The solutions of the studied models are calculated in the form of convergent series with easily computable components. The results of applying this procedure to the studied cases show the high accuracy and efficiency of the new technique. © 2009 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. In this article, the sub‐equation method is presented for finding the exact solutions of a nonlinear fractional partial differential equations. For this, the fractional complex transformation method has been used to convert fractional‐order partial differential equation to ordinary differential equation. The fractional derivatives are described in Jumarie's the modified Riemann–Liouville sense. We apply to this method for the nonlinear time fractional differential equations. With the aid of symbolic computation, a variety of exact solutions for them are obtained. Copyright © 2014 John Wiley & Sons, Ltd.  相似文献

In this paper, the fractional derivatives in the sense of modified Riemann–Liouville derivative and the first integral method are employed for constructing the exact solutions of nonlinear time-fractional partial differential equations. The power of this manageable method is presented by applying it to several examples. This approach can also be applied to other nonlinear fractional differential equations.  相似文献

In this article, a new numerical approach has been proposed for solving a class of delay time-fractional partial differential equations. The approximate solutions of these equations are considered as linear combinations of Müntz–Legendre polynomials with unknown coefficients. Operational matrix of fractional differentiation is provided to accelerate computations of the proposed method. Using Padé approximation and two-sided Laplace transformations, the mentioned delay fractional partial differential equations will be transformed to a sequence of fractional partial differential equations without delay. The localization process is based on the space-time collocation in some appropriate points to reduce the fractional partial differential equations into the associated system of algebraic equations which can be solved by some robust iterative solvers. Some numerical examples are also given to confirm the accuracy of the presented numerical scheme. Our results approved decisive preference of the Müntz–Legendre polynomials with respect to the Legendre polynomials.  相似文献

In this article, numerical study for both nonlinear space‐fractional Schrödinger equation and the coupled nonlinear space‐fractional Schrödinger system is presented. We offer here the weighted average nonstandard finite difference method (WANSFDM) as a novel numerical technique to study such kinds of partial differential equations. The space fractional derivative is described in the sense of the quantum Riesz‐Feller definition. Stability analysis of the proposed method is studied. To show that this method is reliable and computationally efficient different numerical examples are provided. We expect that the proposed schemes can be applicable to different systems of fractional partial differential equations. © 2016 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. This paper presents approximate analytical solutions for systems of fractional differential equations using the differential transform method. The fractional derivatives are described in the Caputo sense. The application of differential transform method, developed for differential equations of integer order, is extended to derive approximate analytical solutions of systems of fractional differential equations. The solutions of our model equations are calculated in the form of convergent series with easily computable components. Some examples are solved as illustrations, using symbolic computation. The numerical results show that the approach is easy to implement and accurate when applied to systems of fractional differential equations. The method introduces a promising tool for solving many linear and nonlinear fractional differential equations.  相似文献

Variational iteration method has been successfully implemented to handle linear and nonlinear differential equations. The main property of the method is its flexibility and ability to solve nonlinear equations accurately and conveniently. In this paper, first, a general framework of the variational iteration method is presented for analytic treatment of differential equations of fractional order where the fractional derivatives are described in Caputo sense. Second, the new framework is used to compute approximate eigenvalues and the corresponding eigenfunctions for boundary value problems with fractional derivatives. Numerical examples are tested to show the pertinent features of this method. This approach provides a new way to investigate eigenvalue problems with fractional order derivatives.  相似文献

In this paper, an effective numerical approach based on a new two‐dimensional hybrid of parabolic and block‐pulse functions (2D‐PBPFs) is presented for solving nonlinear partial quadratic integro‐differential equations of fractional order. Our approach is based on 2D‐PBPFs operational matrix method together with the fractional integral operator, described in the Riemann–Liouville sense. The main characteristic behind this approach is to reduce such problems to those of solving systems of algebraic equations, which greatly simplifies the problem. By using Newton's iterative method, this system is solved, and the solution of fractional nonlinear partial quadratic integro‐differential equations is achieved. Convergence analysis and an error estimate associated with the proposed method is obtained, and it is proved that the numerical convergence order of the suggested numerical method is O(h3) . The validity and applicability of the method are demonstrated by solving three numerical examples. Numerical examples are presented in the form of tables and graphs to make comparisons with the exact solutions much easier.  相似文献

In this paper, we propose a new numerical algorithm for solving linear and non linear fractional differential equations based on our newly constructed integer order and fractional order generalized hat functions operational matrices of integration. The linear and nonlinear fractional order differential equations are transformed into a system of algebraic equations by these matrices and these algebraic equations are solved through known computational methods. Further some numerical examples are given to illustrate and establish the accuracy and reliability of the proposed algorithm. The results obtained, using the scheme presented here, are in full agreement with the analytical solutions and numerical results presented elsewhere.  相似文献

In this work, we implement a relatively analytical technique, the homotopy perturbation method (HPM), for solving nonlinear partial differential equations of fractional order. The fractional derivatives are described in Caputo derivatives. This method can be used as an alternative to obtain analytic and approximate solutions of different types of fractional differential equations which applied in engineering mathematics. The corresponding solutions of the integer order equations are found to follow as special cases of those of fractional order equations. He’s homotopy perturbation method (HPM) which does not need small parameter is implemented for solving the differential equations. It is predicted that HPM can be found widely applicable in engineering.  相似文献

In this article, we implement relatively new analytical techniques, the variational iteration method and the Adomian decomposition method, for solving nonlinear partial differential equations of fractional order. The fractional derivatives are described in the Caputo sense. The two methods in applied mathematics can be used as alternative methods for obtaining analytic and approximate solutions for different types of fractional differential equations. In these schemes, the solution takes the form of a convergent series with easily computable components. Numerical results show that the two approaches are easy to implement and accurate when applied to partial differential equations of fractional order.  相似文献

In this article, differential transform method (DTM) has been successfully applied to obtain the approximate analytical solutions of the nonlinear homogeneous and non-homogeneous gas dynamic equations, shock wave equation and shallow water equations with fractional order time derivatives. The true beauty of the article is manifested in its emphatic application of Caputo fractional order time derivative on the classical equations with the achievement of the highly accurate solutions by the known series solutions and even for more complicated nonlinear fractional partial differential equations (PDEs). The method is really capable of reducing the size of the computational work besides being effective and convenient for solving fractional nonlinear equations. Numerical results for different particular cases of the equations are depicted through graphs.  相似文献

The aim of this paper is to present a new numerical method for solving a wide class of fractional partial differential equations (FPDEs) such as wave-diffusion equations, modified anomalous fractional sub-diffusion equations, time-fractional telegraph equations. The proposed method is based on the Fourier series expansion along the spatial coordinate which transforms the original equation into a sequence of multi-term fractional ordinary differential equations (ODEs). These fractional equations are solved by the use of a new efficient numerical technique – the backward substitution method. The numerical examples confirm the high accuracy and efficiency of the proposed numerical scheme in solving FPDEs with variable in time coefficients.  相似文献

In this letter, we implement a relatively new analytical technique, the homotopy perturbation method (HPM), for solving linear partial differential equations of fractional order arising in fluid mechanics. The fractional derivatives are described in Caputo derivatives. This method can be used as an alternative to obtain analytic and approximate solutions of different types of fractional differential equations applied in engineering mathematics. The corresponding solutions of the integer order equations are found to follow as special cases of those of fractional order equations. Some numerical examples are presented to illustrate the efficiency and reliability of HPM. He's HPM, which does not need small parameter is implemented for solving the differential equations. In this method, a homotopy is introduced to be constructed for the equation. The initial approximations can be freely chosen with possible unknown constants that can be determined by imposing the boundary and initial conditions. It is predicted that HPM can be found widely applicable in engineering. © 2009 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. Numer Methods Partial Differential Eq 2010  相似文献

In this paper, a variable-order fractional derivative nonlinear cable equation is considered. It is commonly accepted that fractional differential equations play an important role in the explanation of many physical phenomena. For this reason we need a reliable and efficient technique for the solution of fractional differential equations. This paper deals with the numerical solution of class of fractional partial differential equation with variable coefficient of fractional differential equation in various continues functions of spatial and time orders. Our main aim is to generalize the Chebyshev cardinal operational matrix to the fractional calculus. Finally, illustrative examples are included to demonstrate the validity and applicability of the presented technique.  相似文献

By the rapid growth of available data, providing data-driven solutions for nonlinear (fractional) dynamical systems becomes more important than before. In this paper, a new fractional neural network model that uses fractional order of Jacobi functions as its activation functions for one of the hidden layers is proposed to approximate the solution of fractional differential equations and fractional partial differential equations arising from mathematical modeling of cognitive-decision-making processes and several other scientific subjects. This neural network uses roots of Jacobi polynomials as the training dataset, and the Levenberg-Marquardt algorithm is chosen as the optimizer. The linear and nonlinear fractional dynamics are considered as test examples showing the effectiveness and applicability of the proposed neural network. The numerical results are compared with the obtained results of some other networks and numerical approaches such as meshless methods. Numerical experiments are presented confirming that the proposed model is accurate, fast, and feasible.  相似文献

The variational iteration method and the homotopy analysis method, as alternative methods, have been widely used to handle linear and nonlinear models. The main property of the methods is their flexibility and ability to solve nonlinear equations accurately and conveniently. This paper deals with the numerical solutions of nonlinear fractional differential equations, where the fractional derivatives are considered in Caputo sense. The main aim is to introduce efficient algorithms of variational iteration and homotopy analysis methods that can be simply used to deal with nonlinear fractional differential equations. In these algorithms, Legendre polynomials are effectively implemented to achieve better approximation for the nonhomogeneous and nonlinear terms that leads to facilitate the computational work. The proposed algorithms are capable of reducing the size of calculations, improving the accuracy and easily overcome the difficulty arising in calculating complicated integrals. Numerical examples are examined to show the efficiency of the algorithms.  相似文献

Distributed-order differential equations have recently been investigated for complex dynamical systems, which have been used to describe some important physical phenomena. In this paper, a new time distributed-order and two-sided space-fractional advection-dispersion equation is considered. Firstly, we transform the time distributed-order fractional equation into a multi-term time-space fractional partial differential equation by applying numerical integration. Then an implicit numerical method is constructed to solve the multi-term fractional equation. The uniqueness, stability and convergence of the implicit numerical method are proved. Some numerical results are presented to demonstrate the effectiveness of the method. The method and techniques can be extended to other time distributed-order and space-fractional partial differential equations.  相似文献
