1H, 13C and 15N NMR studies of gold(III), palladium(II) and platinum(II) chloride complexes with picolines, [Au(PIC)Cl3], trans‐[Pd(PIC)2Cl2], trans/cis‐[Pt(PIC)2Cl2] and [Pt(PIC)4]Cl2, were performed. After complexation, the 1H and 13C signals were shifted to higher frequency, whereas the 15N ones to lower (by ca 80–110 ppm), with respect to the free ligands. The 15N shielding phenomenon was enhanced in the series [Au(PIC)Cl3] < trans‐[Pd(PIC)2Cl2] < cis‐[Pt(PIC)2Cl2] < trans‐[Pt(PIC)2Cl2]; it increased following the Pd(II) → Pt(II) replacement, but decreased upon the transcis‐transition. Experimental 1H, 13C and 15N NMR chemical shifts were compared to those quantum‐chemically calculated by B3LYP/LanL2DZ + 6‐31G**//B3LYP/LanL2DZ + 6‐31G*. cis‐ and trans‐2‐imino‐1,3‐ and ‐3,1‐perhydrobenzoxazines and the N‐methyl derivatives of the latter were synthesized from the corresponding cyclic 1,3‐amino alcohol with cyanogen bromide. The configurations of the studied compounds were confirmed by 1H and 13C NMR spectra. All trans‐fused compounds exist in biased chair–chair conformations as expected, whereas the cis‐fused 1,3‐benzoxazines attain exclusively the O‐in conformations. The cis‐fused 3,1‐benzoxazines, especially the 1‐methyl‐substituted derivatives, tend to favor the N‐out form, obviously owing to the favorable axial orientation of this N‐methyl. Summary The acid and base catalyzed isomerization of some tricyclic 2-pyrazolines with N-Carbamoyl-,N-thiocarbamoyl-and N-phenyl substituents was investigated. Starting fromcis ortrans 3-H, 3a-H diastereomers, equilibrium mixtures ofcis andtrans diastereomers were prepared which were separated and subsequently studied by1H NMR and13C NMR spectroscopy. A mechanism for the isomerization of the pyrazolines is suggested, supported by a deuterium exchange at C-3a.

Zusammenfassung Die Isomerisierung einiger tricyclischer 2-Pyrazoline mit N-Carbamoyl-, N-Thiocarbamoyl-und N-Phenyl-substituenten unter saurer und basischer Katalyse wurde untersucht. Ausgehend von dencis odertrans 3-H,3a-H-Diastereomeren wurdencis- undtrans Gleichgewichtsgemische gewonnen, die getrennt und durch1H- und13C-NMR-Spektroskopie untersucht wurden. Ein Mechanismus für die Isomerisierung von Pyrazolinen wird vorgeschlagen, der durch den Deuteriumaustausch in Position 3a-C unterstützt wird.

The use of Eu(fod)3 in the analysis of the 1H and 13C NMR spectra of cis and trans‐fused β‐hydroxydecalones is described. The relative configuration of the substituents is discussed using the PMLIS algorithm to determine the lanthanide (Eu) ion position in the complex in an effective axially symmetric model. The mid-IR, far-IR, and Raman spectra of allyl acrylate were measured and interpreted with support of the B3LYP/aug-cc-pVDZ calculated anharmonic vibrational spectra followed by the potential energy distribution analysis. The experimental 1H and 13C NMR spectra of allyl acrylate dissolved in CDCl3 or C6D6 were interpreted by means of the B3LYP/aug-cc-pVDZ-su2 calculated NMR chemical shifts and J(1H,1H) and J(1H,13C) coupling constants. Exactly ten stable allyl acrylate conformers (five s-cis and five s-trans) were found after careful B3LYP/aug-cc-pVDZ and MP2/aug-cc-pVDZ scan of the conformational space. The experimental IR and Raman spectra are in good agreement with the theoretical spectra of the most stable conformers 1 with a presence of the second stable conformer 2, both exhibiting cis arrangement of the acrylic moiety. There are however two bands in the IR spectra, at ca. 1270 and 1260 cm−1, that definitely indicate the conformers with trans arrangement of the acrylic moiety to be present in liquid allyl acrylate. The bands at ca. 2990 and 1650 cm−1 are suggested to be due to Fermi resonances engaging CH and CC stretching vibrations, respectively. The careful inspection of the room temperature 1H and 13C NMR spectra of allyl acrylate suggest that a dominating form of the allyl acrylate molecule in an inert solvent exhibits the cis conformation of the acrylic moiety and an extended allyl group.  相似文献

The relative acidities of the cis and trans isomers of a series of 1,5‐oxazaspiro[5.5]undecane derivatives were determined by measuring ΔpK in acid‐base titrations followed by 1 H NMR. Relative structural stabilities were determined by measuring substituent chemical shift and γ‐gauche effects in 13C, 15N, and 17O NMR. Cis and trans isomers of a series of double‐decker silsesquioxanes (DDSQ) were characterized by two‐dimensional NMR techniques. The 1H NMR spectra of these species have not previously been assigned to a degree that allows for quantification. Thus, 1H–29Si HMBC correlations were applied to facilitate 1H spectral assignment and also to confirm previous 29Si assignments for this class of silsesquioxanes. With the ability to identify all the pertinent resonances of the 1H NMR spectrum, 29Si NMR is no longer required for quantification and required only for characterization. This not only saves time and material but also provides a more accurate quantification, thus allowing for the ratio of cis and trans isomers present in each compound to be determined. A more accurate measure of the cis/trans ratio enables the investigation of its influence on the physical and chemical properties of DDSQ nanostructured materials. The 1H and 13C NMR spectra of the trans,trans-, cis,cis- and cis-C-3–C-4, trans-C-7–C-8-germacrones and of the cis-C-2–C-3, trans-C-7–C–8, trans-C-2–C-3, cis-C-7–C-8- and cis,cis-isogermacrones are analysed. The last two isogermacrones are new compounds. The C-2–C-3 double bond in the previously described isogermacrone is found to be of cis configuration, contrary to the hitherto accepted trans arrangement.  相似文献

The radical-dependent oxidation of unsaturated fatty acids is a fundamental reaction in lipid chemistry, biochemistry, and technology. We report herein the first successful application of 1H–13C HMBC NMR experiment for the identification and quantification of complex and minor (3.9% to 0.85%) components of cis and trans primary hydroperoxide isomers of oxidized oleate and linoleate methyl esters in solution, without the need of laborious isolation of the individual components.  相似文献

Reduced forms of iso‐α‐acids (isohumulones), used in modern beer brewing were separated and characterized by 1H and 13C NMR spectroscopy. Components from mixtures of rho‐iso‐α‐acids, tetrahydro‐iso‐α‐acids, and hexahydro‐iso‐α‐acids were isolated using high‐performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) and analyzed by use of one‐ and two‐dimensional NMR experiments. The data presented assign the identities of the main peaks in the HPLC traces for the reduced iso‐α‐acids. Previous tentative assignments regarding the cis and trans configurations and the structures of the acyl residues of the reduced iso‐α‐acids were confirmed and extensive NMR assignments were made. Furthermore, the previously unknown stereochemistry in the C‐4 side‐chain of the rho‐ and hexahydro‐iso‐α‐acids was assigned. Copyright © 2003 John Wiley & Sons, Ltd.  相似文献

1H, 13C and 15N NMR studies of gold(III), palladium(II) and platinum(II) chloride complexes with dimethylpyridines (lutidines: 2,3‐lutidine, 2,3lut; 2,4‐lutidine, 2,4lut; 3,5‐lutidine, 3,5lut; 2,6‐lutidine, 2,6lut) and 2,4,6‐trimethylpyridine (2,4,6‐collidine, 2,4,6col) having general formulae [AuLCl3], trans‐[PdL2Cl2] and trans‐/cis‐[PtL2Cl2] were performed and the respective chemical shifts (δ1H, δ13C, δ15N) reported. The deshielding of protons and carbons, as well as the shielding of nitrogens was observed. The 1H, 13C and 15N NMR coordination shifts (Δ1Hcoord, Δ13Ccoord, Δ15Ncoord; Δcoord = δcomplex ? δligand) were discussed in relation to some structural features of the title complexes, such as the type of the central atom [Au(III), Pd(II), Pt(II)], geometry (trans‐ or cis‐), metal‐nitrogen bond lengths and the position of both methyl groups in the pyridine ring system. The geometric structure of polymethylacetylene (PMA), polypentylacetylene (PPA), and poly(t-butylacetylene) (PTA) was investigated by 1H NMR, 13C NMR, and IR spectroscopies. It was shown that both NMR techniques can be used to determine the trans isomer content of PPA and PTA, whereas the 1H NMR and IR methods can be used for PMA. A calibration curve was constructed by using the 965- and 720-cm?1 bands of the IR spectrum of PPA, and could be used in future work for the same purpose if the samples had molecular weights similar to that of the one used in this study. The isomerization kinetics of PTA was investigated and cis trans activation energies of 88 and 121 kJ/mol were calculated in solution and in the solid state, respectively. Heat treatment of the PMA and PPA samples always leads to a cis trans isomerization with a 100% trans content under extreme conditions. Moreover, a cis trans isomerization of PTA was induced in CCl4, CDCl3, toluene, and benzene, but a trans cis isomerization was induced in decalin. The reversible isomerization of PTA covered a trans isomer concentration ranging form 25 to 60%.  相似文献

The chain structure of cis-poly(4′-ethynylbenzo-15-crown-5) (PEB15C5), prepared using the rhodium complex catalyst, was studied at ?175°C using the solid-state NMR technique. The second moment of PEB15C5 was 7.0 G2 for the main chain and 19.0 G2 for the side chain. These values agreed well with the respective theoretical ones for the cis form in the rigid state rather than the trans one. This agreement between experiment and theory suggested that the plane of the side chain (i.e., the benzo-15-crown-5 group) is orthogonal to the main chain plane of the cis-transoidal form. It was verified that the strong dipoledipole interaction between the side chains plays an important role as a clue to theoretically determine the cis-transoidal form. NMR results in solid state confirmed theoretically that multipeaks in the 1H and 13C NMR spectra in CDCl3 solution are attributed to cis-transoidal form in the chain. © 1995 John Wiley & Sons, Inc.  相似文献

The polypeptide carbobenzoxy-glycyl-L -prolyl-L -leucyl-L -alanyl-L -proline (0.2 M in DMSO-d6) was investigated using 13C, 1H and 15N NMR in natural abundance at 4.7 tesla. The existence of cistrans-Gly-Pro and -Ala-Pro bonds permits up to four isomers, and all four were observed (in a 60:30:7:3 ratio). 13C shifts of the proline β-CH2 resonances are consistent only with the 60% form being transtrans. The 30% form is either transcis or cistrans (order as above) and was tentatively assigned as cis-trans on the basis of relaxation behavior. Refocused INEPT studies aided the 13C assignments. The 15N data were obtained using both NOE and INEPT excitation, with signals evident for the three major isomers. The spectra were analysed by starting from the 13C data, which were assigned based on known regularities in peptide spectra. A 13C? 1H heteronuclear two-dimensional chemical shift correlation experiment allowed direct assignment of proton shifts for major and minor isomers. The NH proton shifts were assigned by running a homonuclear two-dimensional chemical shift correlation experiment and noting the correlation with the previously assigned α-CH protons. The 15N resonances were then assigned from a 15N? 1H heteronuclear two-dimensional chemical shift correlation experiment, relating the 15N signals directly to the NH proton resonances. Isomer interconversion between the two major isomers was demonstrated by performing a magnetization transfer homonuclear 2D experiment. Off-diagonal intensity was noted relating the major and minor isomer alanine NH proton, as well as for the major and minor isomer leucine NH protons.  相似文献

The reaction of dichloroethylphenyltin(IV), Ph(Et)SnCl2, with phenanthroline monohydrate (phen·H2O) in chloroform, in 1:1 mole ratio, afforded [Ph(Et)SnCl2(phen)]. The crystal structures of dichloroethylphenyltin(IV) and its phenanthroline adduct were studied by X‐ray diffraction. In Ph(Et)SnCl2 the tin atom is in a distorted tetrahedral environment, the distortion probably being imposed by weak intermolecular Sn· · ·Cl interactions. In [Ph(Et)SnCl2(phen)] the tin atom is in an octahedral trans‐C2, cis‐Cl2, N2 environment and weak intermolecular C–H· · ·Cl interactions connect the molecules throughout the lattice. Spectroscopic studies in solution (1H, 13C and 119Sn NMR) were also carried out; the 1H and 13C NMR data in dimethylsulfoxide suggest that [Ph(Et)SnCl2(phen)] remains at least partially undissociated in this solvent.
