Simple, rapid and reliable method for the determination of albendazole (ABZ) was described. This includes the utility of some Π‐acceptors such as 2,3‐dichloro‐5,6‐dicyano‐p‐benzoquinone (DDQ) and 3,6‐dichloro‐2,5‐dihy‐ droxy‐p‐benzoquinone (p‐CLA) for estimation of ABZ drug (act as donor). The experimental conditions were optimized and the system obeys Beer's law for 7.50–80 and 10.00–85.00 µg·mL?1 of ABZ using DDQ and p‐CLA, respectively. The molar absorptivity and Sandell sensitivity were calculated to be 1.83×103 and 1.12×103 L·mol?1·cm?1, and 2.60 and 3.40 ng·cm?2 using DDQ and p‐CLA, respectively. The limits of detection and quantification were calculated to be (7.42 and 6.73) and (9.94 and 4.13) µg·mL?1 using DDQ and p‐CLA, respectively. The proposed methods were successfully applied to the determination of ABZ in commercially available dosage forms. The reliability of the assays was established by parallel determination by the official method and recovery studies. The chemical structures of the solid charge‐transfer (CT) complexes formed via reaction between ABZ under study and Π‐acceptors, have been elucidated using elemental analyses (C, H and N), IR, 1H NMR and mass spectra.  相似文献

A facile,rapid and sensitive spectrophotometric method was developed for the determination of carbaryl in itsformulations,water and grain(rice and wheat)samples with newly synthesised reagent.The proposed method wasbased on the alkaline hydrolysis of carbaryl pesticide and thus resulted 1-naphthol was coupled with diazotised4,4'-methylene-bis-m-nitroaniline in basic medium(pH 9)to give red colored product having λ_(max)480 nm for dia-zonium method(DM)or 1-naphthol reacts with 4,4'-methylene-bis-m-nitroaniline in the presence of oxidising agentpotassium dichromate(K_2Cr_2O_7)to give red colored product having λ_(max)510 nm for oxidation method(OM).Theformation of colored derivatives with the coupling agent is instantaneous and stable for 48 h(DM)and 32 h(OM)respectively.Beer's law was obeyed in the concentration range of 0.2—10.0 μg·mL~(-1)for DM and 0.2—0,150μg·mL~(-1)for OM.The proposed methods are sensitive,easy to operate and permitted for the determination of car-baryl with detection limits of 0.028 μg·mL~(-1)for DM and 0.024 μg·mL~(-1)for OM respectively.The experimentalresults indicate that the procedure can eliminate the fundamental interferences caused by other pesticides andnon-target ions,which made the methods more sensitive and selective.The method was applicable to the determina-tion of carbaryl residue in water and food grain samples up to μg level.  相似文献

A new spectrophotometric method was developed for the determination of aminomethylbenzoic acid (PAMBA) using 7,7,8,8‐tetracyanoquinodimethane (TCNQ). The method was based on the formation of charge transfer (CT) complex of this drug as n‐electron donor with the π‐acceptor TCNQ. TCNQ was found to react with PAMBA to produce a kind of yellow complex. The CT reaction proceeded quantitatively in pH 8.5 buffer solution. Different variables affecting the reaction were carefully studied and optimized. Under optimal reaction conditions, the stoichiometric ratio of the reaction, maximum absorption wavelength and the value of molar absorptivity were measured to be 1:1, 425 nm, and 1.9×104 L·mol?1·cm?1, respectively. Beer′s law was obeyed in the range of 1–9 µg·mL?1 of PAMBA. The data have been filled to a linear regression equation A=?0.2612+0.1123c (µg·mL?1), with a correlation coefficient of 0.9996. The detection limit was 0.4 µg·mL?1, R.S.D. was less than 1.9%, and average recovery was over 97.6%. The formation of the CT complex was also confirmed by both infrared and 1H NMR measurements. The thermodynamic property, kinetic property and reaction mechanism have also been discussed. The method developed was applied successfully to the determination of the subject drug in its pharmaceutical dosage forms with good precision and accuracy compared to official method revealed by t‐ and F‐tests.  相似文献

The results of studying inhibitory effect of streptomycin on the modified Berthelot reaction were presented in this paper and a new kinetic method for determining streptomycin in pharmaceutical preparations and human urine was developed on the basis of the obtained results. The rates of catalytic and catalytic‐inhibitory reaction were monitored at 700 nm (t=25±0.1°C) using UV/vis spectrophotometer. By analyzing the spectra and experimental dependences of the catalytic and catalytic‐inhibitory reaction rates on the reactant concentrations, it was noticed that streptomycin attacked nitroprusside and hypochlorite causing the inhibition of the production of 2,2′‐dicarboxylindophenol. According to this effect, an analytical decrease for determination of urea by modified Berthelot reaction appeared in the presence of small amounts of streptomycin. Beer's law was obeyed in the interval of streptomycin sulfate concentration from 18.2 to 182 µg·mL?1. The detection limit calculated by two methods was obtained at 11.75 µg·mL?1 and 8.54 µg·mL?1. The relative standard deviation of 0.55%–8.83% and the recovery of 109.10% were determined. The obtained results were validated using the referent HPLC method.  相似文献

Two simple and sensitive extractive spectrophotometric methods have been described for the analysis of clarithromycin in pure form and in pharmaceutical formulations. The methods involved formation of yellow colored chloroform extractable ion‐association complexes of clarithromycin with bromothymol blue (BTB) and cresol red (CR) in buffered aqueous solution at pH 4. The extracted complexes showed maximum absorbance at 410 and 415 nm for BTB and CR, respectively. Beer's law is obeyed in the concentration ranges 0.1–20 μg mL?1 and 2.0–20 μg mL?1 of clarithromycin with molar absorptivity of 2.01 × 104 and 4.378 × 103 for BTB and CR, respectively. The composition ratio of the ion‐association complex was clarithromycin: BTB and CR = 1:1 as established by Job's method. The methods have been applied to the determination of drug in commercial formulations. The results of analysis were validated statistically and through recovery studies.  相似文献

An extraction-spectrophotometric method for the determination of trace amounts of fluconazole was described. Fluconazole was effectively extracted as a 1 : 1 ion-pair complex with bromocresole green (BCG) at pH 3.0 into chloroform, followed by spectrophotometric determination at 420 nm. Beer's law was obeyed over the range of 4-50 μg.mL^-1 of fluconazole with a detection limit of 3.7 μg.mL^-1 . The method is simple, rapid and sensitive. The procedure was applied to the determination of fluconazole in pharmaceutical preparations as well as its recovery from a blood serum sample.  相似文献

Abstract

A simple and sensitive spectrophotometric method is described for determination of amoxicillin. The method is based on a nucleophilic substitution reaction to measure the pink compound produced by the reaction of amoxicillin with sodium 1,2‐naphthoquinone‐4‐sulfonate in pH 9.00 buffer solution. The stoichiometric ratio of the compound is 1:1, and its maximum absorption wavelength is at 468 nm, ε=3.91×103 L · mol?1 · cm?1. The Beer's law is obeyed in the range of 0.8–120 µg · mL?1 of amoxicillin. The linear regression equation is A=0.041239+0.22128 C, with 0.9994 of a linear regression correlation coefficient. The detection limit is 2.0 µg · mL?1, and average recovery is over 98.5%. This paper further optimizes the determination of amoxcillin compared to the previous methods, and the kinetic property and reaction mechanism are studied intensively. This proposed method has been successfully applied to the determination of amoxicillin in tablets and capsules. The results obtained by this method agreed well with those by the official method high pressure liquid chromatography (HPLC).  相似文献

Spectrofluorimetric and spectrophotometric stability‐indicating methods were developed and validated for analysis of veralipride (Ver) in presence of its hydrolytic and oxidative degradants. The spectrofluorimetric method was based on direct measurement of the intrinsic fluorescence of Ver at 366 nm after excitation at 299 nm using sodium lauryl sulfate (SLS) as micelle enhancer. The fluorescence intensity plot was linear over the concentration range 1.0–10.0 µg·mL?1. The high sensitivity of the method allowed its successful application to the analysis of Ver in spiked human plasma. Two other methods were developed. They are based on the oxidative coupling reaction of Ver with 3‐methyl benzothiazolin‐2‐one hydrazone (MBTH) hydrochloride in presence of ceric ammonium sulphate in an acidic medium. The first method depends on spectrophotometric measurement of the stable green colored oxidative coupling product at 660 nm. The different experimental parameters affecting the reaction were optimized. Linearity range is 10.0–100.0 µg·mL?1. The second method depends on a fluorescence quenching effect of Ver on the fluorescence of Ce3+. The difference in fluorescence intensity was measured at 380 nm after excitation at 300 nm. This method is applicable over the concentration ranges 0.25–2.50 µg·mL?1. The methods were validated according to the ICH guidelines. They were successfully applied for the analysis of Ver in drug substance, drug product and in laboratory prepared mixtures containing different percentages of hydrolytic and oxidative degradants.  相似文献

Abstract

A simple, rapid, selective, and sensitive method for the derivative spectrophotometric determination of Hg(II) and its simultaneous determination in the presence of Zn(II) using 2‐(5‐bromo‐2‐pyridylazo)‐5‐diethylaminophenol in the presence of cetylpyridinium chloride, a cationic surfactant, has been developed. The molar absorption coefficient and analytical sensitivity of the 1∶1 Hg(II) complex at 558 nm (λmax) are 5.78×104 L mol?1 cm?1 and 0.67 ng mL?1, respectively. The detection limit of Hg(II) is 1.40×10?2 ng mL?1, and Beer's law is valid in the concentration range 0.05–2.40 µg mL?1. Overlapping spectral profiles of Hg(II) and Zn(II) complexes in zero‐order mode interfere in their simultaneous determination. However, 0.10–2.00 µg mL?1 of Hg(II) and 0.065–0.650 µg mL?1 of Zn(II), when present together, can be simultaneously determined at zero cross point of the derivative spectrum, without any prior separation. The relative standard deviation for six replicate measurements of solutions containing 0.134 µg mL?1 of Hg(II) and 0.620 µg mL?1 of Zn(II) is 1.72 and 1.47%, respectively. The proposed method has successfully been evaluated for trace level simultaneous determination of Hg(II) and Zn(II) in environmental samples.  相似文献

The interaction between anionic surfactants (AS) and 1‐hexadecyl‐3‐methylimidazolium bromide [C16mim]Br was studied by using resonance light scattering (RLS) technique, UV‐Vis spectrophotometry and fluorometric methods. In Britton Robinson (BR) buffer (pH 6.0), [C16mim]Br reacted with AS to form supermolecular complex which resulted in enhancement in RLS intensity. Their maximum RLS wavelengths were all at 390 nm. Some important interacting experimental variables, such as the solution acidity, [C16mim]Br concentration, salt effect and addition order of the reagents, were investigated and optimized. Under the optimum conditions, quantitative determination ranges were 0.001–7 μg·mL?1 for dodecyl sodium sulfate (SDS), 0.001–6 μg·mL?1 for sodium dodecylbenzene sulfonate (SDBS) and 0.005–7 μg·mL?1 for sodium lauryl sulfonate (SLS), respectively, while the detection limits were 1.3 ng·mL?1 for SDS, 1.0 ng·mL?1 for SDBS and 5.1 ng·mL?1 for SLS, respectively. Based on the ion‐association reaction, a highly sensitive, simple and rapid method has been established for the determination of AS.  相似文献

Rifampicin can enhance the chemiluminescence (CL) of peroxomonosulfate‐cobalt(II) system, and the CL intensity is strongly dependent on the rifampicin concentrations. Based on this phenomenon, a rapid and sensitive flow injection CL method was developed for the determination of rifampicin. The relative CL intensity was linear with the rifampicin concentration over the range of 5×10?8 to 1×10?6 g·mL?1 (r=0.9991), the detection limit was 7×10?9 g·mL?1 (S/N=3), and the relative standard deviation was 2.7% for 6×10?7 g·mL?1 rifampicin (n=11). Furthermore, this method was successfully applied to the determination of rifampicin in real eye drop and capsules sample.  相似文献

Abstract

A rapid and simple spectrophotometric method for the determination of streptomycin has been developed and validated. The method was based on the reaction of streptomycin with sodium nitroprusside in the alkaline medium forming a red product measured at the maximum absorption of 495 nm. The stoichiometric ratio of the product is 1:1. Beer's law is obeyed in a range of 1.87 µg mL?1 ~ 279.8 µg mL?1 of streptomycin and ?495 is 6.0 × 103 L·mol?1 cm?1.Under the optimum condition, the equation of linear regression is A = 0.00742 + 0.05683 C (× 105 mol·L?1), with a linear correlation coefficient of 0.9990. The detection limit (3σ/k) is 0.96 µg mL?1, the relative standard deviation (RSD) is 2.40%, and the average recovery rate is 98.3%–102.7%. Every parameter has been optimized, and the reaction mechanism has been studied. The proposed method has been successfully applied to the determination of streptomycin for injections and tablets of pharmaceutical preparation. Abstract

A new sensitive, selective, rapid, and reproducible method is presented for the analysis of trace amounts of molybdenum (VI) (Mo(VI)). The method is based on the reaction of molybdenum (VI) with a new analytical reagent, 6‐(5‐Chloro‐2‐hydroxy‐4‐sulfophenylazo)‐5‐hydroxy‐1‐naphthalenesulfonic acid, disodium salt. Under optimum reaction conditions, molybdenum (VI) forms a red complex with a maximum absorption peak at 589 nm. The color reaction is rapidly completed at room temperature. The apparent molar absorption coefficient and Sandell sensitivity were 1.13×104 L · mol?1 · cm?1 and 0.0084 µg · cm?2, respectively. Beer's law was obeyed up to 8.5 µg · mL?1. Methods for the determination of Mo(VI) by first‐derivative spectrophtometry have also been proposed at 547 and 625 nm. The proposed methods offer the advantages of sensitivity, rapidity, selectivity, and simplicity without any prior separation or extraction. The methods have been applied to the determination of Mo(VI) in various environmental samples and some alloys; satisfactory results have been obtained.  相似文献

在pH为5.0-5.4的乙酸-乙酸钠缓冲溶液中,克林霉素(Clin)与钯(Ⅱ)形成螯合阳离子,它能进一步与二碘荧光素(DIF),赤藓红(Ery),曙红Y(EY)等卤代荧光素类染料反应形成1:1:1的三元离子缔合物,此时将引起吸收光谱变化和荧光猝灭,同时还导致共振瑞利散射(RRS)的急剧增强并产生新的RRS光谱,钯(Ⅱ)-克林霉素与DIF,Ery和EY形成产物的最大散射波长分别位于285,287,32 1nm处,另外还有些较弱的散射峰存在。散射增强(ΔI)与克林霉素浓度在一定范围内成正比,可用于克林霉素的定量测定。对于DIF,Ery和EY体系的线性范围和检出限分别为0.025-2.1μg•mL-1和7.8 ng•mL-1,0.053-2.4μg•mL-1和16.0 ng•mL-1;以及0.038-2.4μg•mL-1和11.0 ng•mL-1。本文研究了适宜的反应条件,考察了共存物质的影响,表明方法有较好的选择性,基于三元离子缔合物的RRS光谱,发展了一种高灵敏、简便快速测定克林霉素的新方法。文中还对离子缔合物的组成,结构和反应机理,以及离子缔合物对吸收,荧光和RRS光谱的影响进行了讨论。  相似文献

A novel flow injection procedure has been developed for the determination of gallic acid based on the enhancement function for luminol‐AgNO3‐Ag NPs chemiluminescence (CL) system by gallic acid. The enhancement mechanism was proposed for the reinforcing effect of the gallic acid on the CL system. The UV‐vis absorption spectrum and CL emission spectrum were applied to confirm the mechanism. The method is simple, rapid and sensitive with a detection limit of 5×10?10 g·mL?1 and a linear range of 8.0×10?10–1.0×10?7 g·mL?1. The relative standard deviation (RSD) is 1.3% for eleven measurements of 5×10?8 g·mL?1 gallic acid. The method has been successfully applied to the determination of gallic acid in Chinese proprietary medicine–Jianmin Yanhou tablets and synthesized samples.  相似文献

Abstract

This paper reports on the synthesis of a new chromogenic reagent, 2‐carboxyl‐1‐naphthalthiorhodanine (CNTR). A high sensitive, selective, and rapid method for the determination of gold based on the rapid reaction of gold with CNTR and the solid phase extraction of the colored chelate with a reversed phase polymer‐based C18 cartridge was developed. In the presence of 0.05–0.5 mol L?1 of phosphoric acid solution and emulsifier‐OP medium, CNTR reacts with gold to form a red chelate of a molar ratio 1∶3 (gold to CNTR). This chelate was enriched by the solid phase extraction with a polymer‐based C18 cartridge and the retained chelate was eluted from the cartridge with dimethyl formamide (DMF). The enrichment factor of 100 was achieved. In the DMF medium, the molar absorptivity of the chelate is 1.35×105 L · mol?1 · cm?1 at 540 nm. Beer's law is obeyed in the range of 0.01~2 µg mL?1 in the measured solution. The relative standard deviation for 11 replicates sample of 0.5 µg L?1 level is 2.05%. The detection limit, based on three times the standard deviation is 0.02 µg L?1 in the original sample. This method was applied to the determination of gold in water and ore with good results.  相似文献

On the basis of the principle of combination of active groups, a series of novel N‐(4‐([2,2′:5′,2′′‐terthiophen]‐5‐yl)‐2‐methylbut‐3‐yn‐2‐yl) benzamide derivatives were designed, synthesized and systematically evaluated for their antiviral activity against tobacco mosaic virus (TMV). The bioassay results showed that most of these compounds displayed good anti‐TMV activity, and some of them exhibited higher antiviral activity than commercial Ningnanmycin. Especially, compound 8e with excellent anti‐TMV activity (inactivation activity, 92.3%/500 µg·mL?1; curative activity, 85.7%/500 µg·mL?1 and protection activity, 64.7%/500 µg·mL?1) emerged as a potential inhibitor of plant virus TMV. Quantitative structure‐activity relationship studies proved that the van der Waals volume (V) and electronic parameter (∑(∑σo+σp) and ∑σm) for the substituent R1 were very important for antiviral activities in this class of compounds.  相似文献

Abstract

The chemical composition of Tussilago farfara L. essential oil from the Saguenay-Lac-St-Jean region of Quebec, Canada was analyzed by gas chromatography–flame ionisation detector (GC-FID) and gas chromatography–mass spectrometry (GC-MS), and the antibacterial activity of the oil was tested against Escherichia coli and Staphylococcus aureus. Forty-five (45) compounds were identified from the GC profile. The main components were 1-nonene (40.1%), α-phellandrene (26.0%) and ρ-cymene (6.6%). The essential oil demonstrated antibacterial activity against E. coli (MIC50 = 468 µg·mL?1; MIC90 = 6869 µg·mL?1) and S. aureus (MIC50 = 368 µg·mL?1; MIC90 = 773 µg·mL?1). Dodecanoic acid was found to be active against both bacteria having a MIC50 and MIC90 of 16.4 µg·mL?1 and 95 µg·mL?1, respectively for E. coli and a MIC50 and MIC90 of 9.8 µg·mL?1 and 27.3 µg·mL?1, respectively for S. aureus. In addition, 1-decene and (E)-cyclodecene were also found to be active against E. coli.  相似文献

In pH 4.9 Britton-Robinson buffer solution, methotrexate (MTX) reacted with thallium(III) to form a 3∶1 chelate. This resulted in great enhancement of second-order scattering (SOS) spectra and frequency doubling scattering (FDS) spectra and appearance of new SOS and FDS spectra. Their maximum wavelengths were located at 520 and 390 nm, respectively. The increments of scattering intensities (ΔI) were directly proportional to the concentrations of MTX in the ranges of 0.022—2.0 μg•mL-1 (SOS method) and 0.008—2.5 μg•mL-1 (FDS method). The methods exhibited high sensitivities. The detection limits for MTX were 7.4 ng•mL-1 (SOS method) and 2.3 ng•mL-1 (FDS method), respectively. The optimum conditions of the reaction, the influencing factors and the effects of coexisting substances were investigated. A highly sensitive, simple and fast method for the determination of MTX has been developed. The method can be applied satisfactorily to the determination of MTX in human serum samples. In this work, the charge distribution of MTX was calculated by a CNDO quantum chemistry method. In addition, the reaction mechanism was discussed.  相似文献

A simple, rapid, cost effective and extraction‐free spectrophotometric method has been developed for the determination of zolmitriptan in pharmaceutical raw and dosage forms. The method is based on the charge‐transfer reaction of zolmitriptan in acetonitrile medium with 0.2% 2,3‐dichloro‐5,6‐dicyano‐1,4‐benzoquinone to form a colored product peaking at 555 nm. Beer's law is obeyed in the concentration range 10‐250 μg mL?1 with molar absorptivity of 1.7 × 103 L mole?1 cm?1. The effects of variables such as reagent concentration, time of reaction, color stability and interferences have been investigated to optimize the procedure. The results have been validated analytically and statistically. The proposed method has been successfully applied for the determination of zolmitriptan in pharmaceutical formulations. Results indicate that the method is accurate, precise and reproducible (relative standard deviation < 2%).  相似文献
