The interaction of an atom with an intense resonance radiation field is considered. Quasi-energy levels are found which can differ essentially from the usual thin structure of atomic levels at moderate intensities. Spontaneous emission of such a system is considered and the interaction of an atom with a depolarized field is investigated in detail. In the latter case some specific shifts and broadening of emission or absorption lines depending essentially on the polarization and coherence of the resonance field are predicted.  相似文献

A system of Bloch equations modified with allowance for the presence of a dipole–dipole reservoir for the case where the local magnetic field is small in comparison with the saturating one is suggested. The system is used for solving the problem of interaction of three electromagnetic fields: a saturating field, a probe one, and the third - a combination field resulting from the interaction of the first two in a resonance medium. The imaginary and real parts of the system susceptibility at the probe-field frequency have been investigated in detail at both different frequencies of interacting waves and coinciding ones (degenerate case). For the degenerate case, the dependence of the coefficient of the parametric connection of waves on the frequency is considered. The results of the present work are compared with those obtained by us earlier for the case where the local magnetic field is much in excess of the saturating one (Provotorov's case). It is shown that in the problem considered the amplification of weak waves when they pass through the layer of an absorbing resonance medium is inaccessible.  相似文献

The concept “dressed nucleus” is introduced to describe the interaction of a nucleus (in a static magnetic field) with a coherent radiation field at resonance with the Zeeman sublevels. The idea is to consider the global system as a one quantum system in the Schrödinger representation. It is shown that it is possible to associate to each nuclear Zeeman substate an infinite number of equidistant energy levels, each of them having a four-fold degeneracy when any interaction with the coherent field is neglected. This periodic energy scheme, which is the same for any nuclear Zeeman substate, is a consequence of the resonance condition and of the specific form of the coherent state of the radiation field. When the interaction is included the energy degeneracy is lifted and each level splits into (2I+1)2 equidistant levels, where I is the spin of the free nuclear state. The energy difference between two adjacent levels is proportional to the square root of the mean photon number in the coherent state. When the global system decays spontaneously to a possible ground state a \gamma-photon is produced. Taking into account the selection rules 24 different \gamma-energies are possible for a nuclear M1 3/2→1/2 transition.  相似文献

The system of metallic nanospheroids in the field of monochromatic light wave under conditions of manifestation of the Fano resonance is considered. The dimensions of the nanospheroids are much smaller than the wavelength of the incident radiation, but distances between them can be arbitrary. An analysis is made of the influence of the interparticle interaction and the reaction field on the inhomogeneity of the energy distribution of the collective oscillations of electrons in the system (the Fano resonance efficiency). It is shown that both the retardation and the reaction field contribute to an increase in the resonance efficiency.  相似文献

We describe a field-cycling magnetic resonance experiment aimed to study the nuclear spinlattice relaxation in the simultaneous presence of an oscillating magnetic field and a magnetomechanically induced perturbation across the sample volume. The studied system is a gelatine doped with surfacted nanosize ferromagnetic particles. The spin system relaxes in coexistence with the magnetic interaction between the dopants and a weak external alternating magnetic field. Due to the interaction between the alternating field and the high magnetic moment of the dopants, a mechanical shaking of the particles becomes effective at low evolution fields. In this way, the particles act as local sonic sources, thus transmitting the vibrations to the gelic matrix where they are trapped. The impact produced on the molecular dynamics is observed through a magnetic resonance relaxation experiment. Saturation of the proton magnetization produced by the alternating magnetic field is also discussed. Results are compared with the direct effects produced by a pure sonic perturbation at the same frequency, introduced by coupling a piezoelectric transducer in direct contact with the sample.  相似文献

The interaction of an atomic system with a light beam, intensity-modulated at the ground-state Zeeman frequency is analysed by the dressed-atom method. When the light field is resonant, this interaction produces a new type of degereracy of dressed-atom energy levels which is not of level crossing type. The resonance interaction of a three-component electromagnetic field with a planar polymer film containing J aggregates of dyes is studied. The field consists of two counterpropagating waves traveling along the J aggregate film and a wave directed along a normal to the plane of the film. It is shown that, compared to the case of a one-component field, the polariton-phonon interaction in such a system leads to qualitatively different conditions of the occurrence of localized exciton states and bistability.  相似文献

If gravity is quantized, one of the consequences may be that the spacetime coordinates are quantized and become noncommutative. The κ-Minkowski spacetime is such kind of noncommutative spacetime. In this paper, the resonance interaction energy of a two-atom system coupled with a fluctuating vacuum scalar field in the κ-Minkowski spacetime is studied. It is found that the resonance interaction energy is dependent on the interatomic separation, the transition wavelength of the atoms, and the spacetime non-commutativity. When the interatomic separation is small compared with a characteristic length determined by the spacetime non-commutativity parameter and the transition wavelength, the resonance interaction energy is that in the Minkowski spacetime plus a correction due to the spacetime non-commutativity. When the interatomic separation is comparable to or larger than the characteristic length, the resonance interaction energy cannot be organized in the form of a Minkowski term plus a correction, which indicates that the long-range behavior of the vacuum in the κ-Minkowski spacetime is fundamentally different from that in the Minkowski spacetime.  相似文献

The inclusion of inelastic spin-dependent electron scatterings by the potential profiles of a single magnetic impurity and a spin dimer is shown to induce resonance features due to the Fano effect in the transport characteristics of such atomic-scale spin structures. The spin-flip processes leading to a configuration interaction of the system’s states play a fundamental role for the realization of Fano resonance and antiresonance. It has been established that applying an external magnetic field and a gate electric field allows the conductive properties of spin structures to be changed radically through the Fano resonance mechanism.  相似文献

We consider two-species of fermions in a rotating trap that interact via an s-wave Feshbach resonance, at total Landau level filling factor two (or one for each species). We show that the system undergoes a quantum phase transition from a fermion integer quantum Hall state to a boson fractional quantum Hall state as the pairing interaction strength increases, with the transition occurring near the resonance. The effective field theory for the transition is shown to be that of a (emergent) massless relativistic bosonic field coupled to a Chern-Simons gauge field, with the coupling giving rise to semionic statistics to the emergent particles.  相似文献

利用全量子理论研究了克尔介质中皮秒孤子光场与二能级原子多光子相互作用系统中粒子数反转随时间的变化特性,用MATLAB软件编程模拟并讨论了初始平均光子数、克尔介质与场模非线性相互作用强弱、孤子光场与原子耦合强度及相互作用过程中跃迁光子数目对粒子数反转的影响.数值计算结果表明:初始平均光子数越大、克尔介质与场模的非线性相互作用越强、孤子光场与原子耦合强度越小或相互作用过程中跃迁光子数目越多,粒子数反转崩坍与恢复的振荡幅度越小、平均值越大.  相似文献

从球状泡群气泡动力学方程出发, 考虑泡群间次级声辐射的影响, 得到了声场中两泡群共同存在时气泡振动的动力学方程, 并以此为基础探讨声波驱动下双泡群振动系统的共振响应特征. 由于泡群间气泡间的相互作用, 系统存在低频共振和高频共振现象, 两不同共振频率的数值与泡群内气泡的本征频率相关. 泡群内气泡的本征频率又受到初始半径、泡群大小和泡群内气泡数量的影响. 气泡自由振动和驱动声波的耦合激起泡群内气泡的受迫振动, 气泡初始半径、气泡数密度和驱动声波频率等都会影响泡群内气泡的振动幅值和初相位. 关键词: 气泡群 共振 声响应 超声空化  相似文献

The nature of the resonance interaction between two isotropic atoms in an excited configuration is reinvestigated. The currently accepted oscillatory form for the long-range retarded resonance interaction is shown to be a subtle artefact that arises due to too drastic approximations. Formulation of the resonance interaction energy problem in terms of the interacting system leads to a form that it is ∝ r -4 in the retarded limit. We also demonstrate that the resonance interaction energy at any finite temperature goes over to purely classical long-range asymptote. This manifestation of the correspondence principle is due to thermal excitation of the electromagnetic field. We finally discuss why the textbook result for the F?rster energy transfer between two atoms is incorrect for the same reasons. Using the matrix density in the representation of path integrals for an electron, the multiphoton nonlinear absorption light coefficient in the second order of interaction energy with polar optical phonons is derived. This coefficient describes any electron interaction mechanism with phonons. From the interaction mechanism, the main role is played by dimensional resonance when the electron continuously absorbs energy from the field as a result of synchronizing its oscillation with the field. This dimensional resonance is possible when the frequency characterizing the laser field is a multiple of the phonon frequency. Whether a photon is absorbed or emitted, the initial level from where the transition occurs defines the temperature dependence. The absorption spectrum has the form of stripes whose intensity depends on the resonance character. Within the framework of the concept of spin temperature in electron paramagnetic resonance (EPR) in the absence of the interaction with the lattice, the time dependence for spin temperatures of the Zeeman subsystem and dipole–dipole reservoir is theoretically investigated in both high- and low-temperature approximations. It is shown that the gain can be produced in the system by switching the frequency of the saturating field. The gain in the system as a function of the detuning of the frequency of the saturating field is investigated in a high-temperature approximation. In the presence of a test field in a high-temperature approximation, the possibility of determining the magnitude of a local magnetic field, which is associated with the time of transverse relaxation of the system, is discussed.  相似文献

We have previously shown the possibility of the existence of a one-photon resonance with homogeneous width in the center of an absorption line of trapped particles. The results of a detailed investigation of this resonance are given in the first part of the present paper. The second part is devoted to a two-photon resonance in a standing-wave field: the time of coherent interaction with the field is increased for trapped particles, which permits the elimination of transit resonance broadening.  相似文献
