A facile synthesis of novel α-aminophosphonates 5a-j was accomplished by condensation of imines (3a-j) with diethyl phosphite (4) in ethanol at 50–60°C using easily recoverable and reusable catalyst, tetramethyl guanidine (TMG) via pudovik reaction in high yields. All the title compounds were characterized by spectral and elemental analysis. They were further screened for their abilities towards in vitro antibacterial, antifungal and antioxidant activities. The compounds 5g, 5d, 5f exhibited good antibacterial and antifungal activities compared to the standard bactericide, Penicillin and fungicide, Griseofulvin, respectively. The compounds 5h, 5i, 5g, and 5c exhibited good antioxidant activity compared to the standard ascorbic acid.  相似文献

Benzo[1,2-b:5,4-b′]difuran-2-carbohydrazides 5a, b were reacted with aryl or alkyl isothiocyanates to give the corresponding thiosemicarbazides 6a–h. Cyclization of the substituted thiosemicarbazides with sodium hydroxide led to the formation of benzo[1,2-b:5,4-b′]difuranyl-1,3,4-triazoles 7a–f. Desulfurization of thiosemicarbazides by mercuric oxide gave benzo[1,2-b:5,4-b′]difuranyl-1,3,4-oxadiazoles 8a–f. Treatment of thiosemicarbazides with ethyl bromoacetate or α-bromopropionic acid yielded benzo[1,2-b:5,4-b′]difuranyl-carbonyl-hydrazono-4-thiazolidinones 9a–f and 10a–f, respectively. Furthermore, the reaction of the thiosemicarbazides with phosphorus oxychloride gave benzo[1,2-b:5,4-b′]difuranyl-1,3,4-thiadiazoles 11a–f. Some compounds in this study were biologically evaluated for their ability to bind to DNA.  相似文献

Two new series of columnar liquid crystal materials based on tetra- and hexacatenar Schiff bases were synthesised by reaction of 4-aminophenyl-1,3,4-thiadiazole derivatives with terephthalaldehyde (series 2a–f) and with 2,5-thiophenedicarbaldehyde (series 3a–f). The mesomorphic properties of these compounds were studied by differential scanning calorimetry (DSC), polarised optical microscopy (POM) and X-ray diffraction (XRD). The mesomorphic behaviour was found to be dependent on the nature of the central ring (benzene in series 2a–f, thiophene in series 3a–f), on length and on number of alkoxy chains. Both tetra- and hexacatenar compounds in series 2a–f display an enantiotropic hexagonal columnar phase. Whereas, in the case of the series 3, only the tetracatenar Schiff bases (3a, 3c and 3e) display enantiotropic hexagonal columnar mesomorphism, hexacatenar Schiff bases (3b, 3d and 3f) do not show mesomorphic properties. Photophysical studies were realised in solution and in solid state. Also, a thermogravimetric analysis was performed. A fibre obtained from compound 3b was analysed by POM showing that the mesophase is maintained in the fibre.  相似文献

Compounds 3a–k were obtained from the reactions of compounds 1a–k with homopiperazine (2) in CH 2 Cl 2 . Compounds 1a–b, 1d–f, and 1h–l gave compounds 5a–b, 5d–f, and 5h–l with 2-methylpiperazine (4) in dichloromethane. Compounds 7c and 9c were obtained from the reactions of compound 1c with 4-ethoxycarbonyl piperazine (6) and 4-piperidinol (8) in CH 2 Cl 2 . Compounds 1a and 1f gave compounds 11a and 11f with 4-methylpiperazine (10), and compound 13f was obtained from the reactions of compound 1f with 4-methylpiperidine (12) in CH 2 Cl 2 .  相似文献

Novel liquid crystal materials base on amino-thiadiazoles, specifically 5-(3,4-di-, and/or 3,4,5-tri-n-alkoxy)phenyl-2-amino-1,3,4-thiadiazoles (3a–f, n?=?10, 12, 14) and 5-(3,4-di- and/or 3,4,5-tri-n-alkoxy)phenyl-2-(4-amino)phenyl-1,3,4-thiadiazoles (6a–f, n?=?10, 12, 14) were synthesised. The mesomorphic properties of these compounds were studied by differential scanning calorimetry and polarising optical microscopy. All the compounds in series 3a–f and series 6a–f display an enantiotropic columnar phase. The mesomorphic properties were found to be dependent on the number of the side alkoxy chains, and on the length of the rigid core, and on the position of the thiadiazole ring. The best results were obtained with compounds of series 3a–f.  相似文献

The synthesis and liquid crystalline properties of new series of 1,2,4‐ and 1,3,4‐oxadiazole derivatives (2a–f and 5a–f respectively) are reported. These compounds contain only one terminal flexible alkoxy chain, the other terminal substituent is a protecting benzyl group. All compounds of series 2 exhibit an enantiotropic nematic phase. The homologue with the longest chain (2f) displays an enantiotropic dimorphism smectic A– nematic. None of the compounds of series 5 shows mesomorphism and only crystal–isotropic transitions were observed. The liquid crystalline properties were investigated by differential scanning calorimetry, polarizing optical microscopy and X‐ray measurements. Luminescence properties, in chloroform solution, of 2f and the series 5 compounds were evaluated. Good photoluminescence quantum yields for compounds of series 5 were observed. Compound 2f, incorporating the 1,2,4‐oxadiazole ring shows a very strong reduction in emissive properties.  相似文献

2-trimethylsilylethylidenetriphenylphosphorane (5) (Seyferth–Wittig reagent) reacts stereoselectively with the carbonyl compounds 6a–f to give the conjugated allylsilanes 7a–f, each as a mixture of E-and Z-isomers. The stereoselectivity of reactions of E-cinnamaldehyde (6c) with 5 has been investigated at different temperatures. A successful E-stereoselective synthesis of 7c was achieved by reacting 5 with E-cinnamaldehyde (6c) under the conditions of a Wittig–Schlosser modification reaction. Structures of the allylsilanes 7a–f were deduced by compatible analytical and spectroscopic (IR, 1H NMR, 13C NMR, and GC/MS) measurements. An assignment of the E:Z ratios of 7a–f is based on their 1H NMR spectral data.  相似文献

Mono(thio)substituted nitrodiene compound 1 reacted with 2a–f and yielded 3a–f in methylene chloride. Compound 1 gave 7 by the reaction with 6. A simple and efficient synthesis of novel pyrimidine-substituted alkanoate, acetohydrazide, and imines is described. The synthesis of novel ethyl 2-(2,6-dimethylpyrimidin-4-yloxy)acetate (EDMPyA) 2 was performed through SN2 O-alkylation of 2,6-dimethyl-4-hydroxypyrimidine 1 with ethyl haloacetate. The compound EDMPyA 2 was subjected to nucleophilic substitution reaction with hydrazine hydrate to afford novel 2-(2,6-dimethylpyrimidin-4-yloxy)acetohydrazide (DMPyAH) 3. This DMPyAH 3 upon condensation with differently substituted carbonyl compounds (aldehydes/ketones) furnished DMPyAH imines (DMPyAH-I) 4a–d. These imines can be used for the preparation of unique β-lactams. The structure elucidation of all the newly synthesized compounds was performed using spectroscopy (FT-IR, 1H and 13C NMR) and elemental analysis (C, H, N).  相似文献

Here we report various rigid alkanediamide derivatives, with three different substitution patterns of phosphonate ester for investigation of organogelation properties. The gelation properties of these compounds can be tuned by altering the number and position of the phosphonate esters. It was found that supramolecular self-assembly of the bisphosphonate esters (1a, 1d, 1h and 2ab) resulted gel formation, whereas that of the tetraphosphonate esters (3a, 3d, 3h) resulted in construction of nanospheres and microspheres. The diverse morphology of the gel formation appears to depend predominantly on the substituted phenyl ring of the phosphonate ester functionality. Subsequent in vitro cytotoxic screening against four human tumour cell lines (A549, MDA-MB-231, MCF-7 and HeLa) using MTT assays revealed that derivatives 1fh and 3a show cytotoxic potencies at concentrations less than 5 μM (IC50 values). Compounds 1fh exhibited promising activity against A549 cell line, 1gh were highly effective against MDA-MB-231, 1f and 3a show potential against MCF-7 and 1fg were active against the HeLa cell line.  相似文献

Abstract

An acid-catalyzed condensation of indole 4 with 1-tetralones 5a–f formed a vinylindole which reacted in situ with N-phenylmaleimides 7a–g. This cascade of condensation and Diels–Alder reaction was performed in IPA (isopropyl alcohol) and in presence of p-TsOH (p-toluenesulfonic acid) at reflux to produce annulated tetrahydrocarbazoles 8a–g and 10a–e. Similarly, 9a–g were synthesized by substituting 4-chromanone 6 for 5a–f. The 1-tetralone derived products 8a–g and 10a–e were obtained in higher yields (19–79%) compared to 4-chromanone derived 9a–g (6–28%), likely due to additional side reactions in case of chromanones. To establish the structure and stereochemistry of products, the crystal structure of 10c was obtained, confirming endo-Diels–Alder addition.  相似文献

Abstract

A series of 27 ether-linked 1,4-disubstituted 1,2,3-triazoles (8a–8z1) has been synthesized by 1,3 dipolar cycloaddition of 1-substituted-4-(prop-2-yn-1-yloxy)benzene (3a–3c) and aromatic azides (5a–5c, 7a–7f). The synthesized compounds were explicated by FTIR, 1H NMR, 13C NMR and HRMS techniques. The structures of synthesized triazoles 8c (CCDC 1840219) and 8f (CCDC 1840220) were also confirmed by X-ray crystallography.  相似文献

Lithiation of 8-chlorodibenz[b,f][1,4]oxazepine-10-tert-butylcarbamate ( 1 ) is described. Electrophilic substitution of the resulting N-Boc dibenzoxazepine α- lithioamine 2 with ketones, aldehydes, nitriles, iso-cyanates and imines, followed by an in-situ cyclization, gave fused carbamates 5–26 , fused 2H-imidazol-2-ones 27–29 , fused hydantoins 30–32 , and fused ureas 33–35 , respectively, in 11–66% yield.  相似文献

Imines have been prepared using three different methods. The thermal addition of tetrafluoroethylene to N‐bromoperhalo‐1‐alkanimines (RfCF=NBr) to give imines of the type RfCF=NCF2CF2Br, the Lewis acid cleavage of perfluorinated amines to give imines of the type RfN=CFRf′ and the one pot reaction between hexafluoroacetone and perfluoroamides. Reactions of these imines with m‐chloroperoxy benzoic acid (MCPBA) lead to the corresponding cis‐perfluoro‐2, 3‐dialkyloxaziridines Rf RF′. The oxaziridines undergo cycloadditions with olefins to give the corresponding oxazolidines. A preliminary investigation was done on the synthesis and reaction chemistry of complex formed between activated zinc and the 4‐iodo and 4‐bromo‐perhalooxazolidines.  相似文献

New series of pyrazolo[3,4-b]pyridines were prepared and evaluated for antimicrobial activity toward six selected microorganisms. Compounds 2a, 3b, 3d and 3e exhibited good activity toward B. cereus. On the other hand, 2a and 3b evinced interesting activity over C. albicans, whereas 2a, 3b and 3e displayed promising activity over A. fumigatus. Antiquorum-sensing effectiveness of the new members over C. violaceum was also assessed, where compounds 2a and 3b exhibited higher activity than that of the reference compound, indole. In vitro antiproliferative assessment toward HepG2, HCT-116 and MCF-7 cancer cells evidenced that 2f has notable effectiveness on all examined cell lines, whereas 3a–c were active but to a lower extent. In vivo antitumor activity of 2f and 3a–c against EAC cells was also esteemed, where 2f and 3c showed considerable activity comparable to that of doxorubicin. Cytotoxicity screening over WI38 and WISH normal cells evinced that 2f and 3a–c are less cytotoxic than doxorubicin. Compounds 2a, 2f, 3a–c and 3e were evaluated for DNA-binding affinity and topoisomerase IIβ inhibitory activity. Analogs 2a, 2f, 3a and 3b illustrated strong DNA-binding affinity, whereas 2a, 2f and 3a exhibited interesting topoisomerase IIβ inhibitory activity. Compounds 2a and 2f were docked into topoisomerase IIβ, where 2f showed preferential binding to topoisomerase IIβ. Computational studies articulated that the new members are in compliance with Veber's standards and Lipinski’s rule.  相似文献

An efficient one-pot synthesis of 6-amino-4-(2-chloroquinolin-3-yl)-3-methyl-2, 4-dihydro-pyrano[2,3-c]pyrazole-5-carbonitrile derivatives (4a–f)(5a–f) by three component reactions of 2-chloroquinolin-3-carbaldehyde derivatives, malanonitrile, and 3-methyl pyrazolin-5-one derivatives catalyzed by L-proline in ethanol medium under mild conditions is established. The synthesized compounds were evaluated for antimalarial activity and the LC50/LC90 values were described. Compounds 4d, 5d, and 5f exhibits good antimalarial activity when compared to other pyrano[2,3-c]pyrazole scaffolds.  相似文献
