An efficient route for the synthesis of 2-amino-4H-pyrans and pyran annulated heterocyclic moieties has been reported via one-pot tandem Knoevenagel–cyclocondensation of aldehydes, malononitrile, and carbocyclic/heterocyclic 1,3-diones in the presence of stabilized nickel nanoparticles in ethylene glycol at room temperature. A wide range of aromatic aldehydes undergo the condensation readily to afford the pharmacologically important compounds in excellent yields. Bis-pyranization has been observed in the reactions of terephthaldehyde. Supplemental materials are available for this article. ZnO is an effective heterogeneous catalyst for the reaction between arylcyanamides with sodium azide to synthesize the arylaminotetrazoles in good yields. This method has advantages of good yields, simple methodology, short reaction times, and easy workup. Magnesium oxide (MgO) effectively catalyzes the three-component reaction of aldehydes, amidine systems, and malononitrile or ethyl cyanoacetate to form 4-amino-5-pyrimidine carbonitrile and pyrimidinone derivatives, respectively. An extremely efficient heterogeneous protocol is reported for the one-pot, three-component synthesis of a series of dihydropyrimidinones (DHPMs) in the presence of ZnO nanoparticles in water as a green solvent. The ZnO nanoparticles exhibited excellent catalytic activity and the proposed methodology is capable of providing the desired products in good yields (65–94%) within short reaction times. After the reaction course, ZnO nanoparticles can be recycled and reused without any apparent loss of activity, which makes this ecofriendly process cost-effective. 相似文献

A convenient and efficient one-pot method for the synthesis of 2-amino-tetrahydro-4H-chromene and 2-amino-4H-benzo[h]-chromene derivatives has been developed using a catalytic amount of amino-functionalized MCM-41 in aqueous medium. Novel metal oxide of CuO-ZnO nanocatalyst was prepared by a coprecipitation method and characterized by x-ray diffusion, Brunauer–Emmett–Teller surface area, scanning electron microscopy, transmission electron microscopy, and energy dispersive spectroscopy (EDS) analysis. The catalyst is efficient for the synthesis of 2-amino-4H-chromenes by one-pot condensation of aromatic aldehydes, hydroxynaphthalene derivatives, and malononitrile in water at reflux conditions. Sulfuric acid immobilized on silica gel (H2SO4-SiO2) was used as an efficient promoter for per-O-acetylation of carbohydrates with acetic anhydride under solvent-free conditions.
