Zussamenfassung Das Dimensionierungsverfahren vonDrucker undShield [1, 2] wurde kürzlich auf die Dimensionierung rotationssymmetrisch belasteter Kreisplatten für Mindestgewicht angewandt [3], wobei sowohl gelenkig gestützte als auch eingespannte Sandwichplatten betrachtet wurden. In der vorliegenden Arbeit werden diese Untersuchungen auf kreisförmige Sandwichplatten unter nicht rotationssymmetrischer Belastung ausgedehnt. Es zeigt sich, dass auch für solche Lasten der Dimensionierung für Mindestgewicht diejenigen Verformungszustände zugrunde gelegt werden könne, welche schon zur Lösung der entsprechenden Aufgabe bei rotationssymmetrischer Belastung konstruiert wurden. Für Belastung einer gelenkig gestützten oder eingespannten Kreisplatte durch eine Einzellast mit beliebigem Angriffspunkt werden explizite Dimensionierungsformeln gewonnen, für beliebig verteilte Belastung werden Integraldarstellungen der optimalen Dimensionierung gegeben.

An exact closed form solution in terms of elementary functions has been obtained to the governing integral equation of an external circular crack in a transversely isotropic elastic body. The crack is subjected to arbitrary tangential loading applied antisymmetrically to its faces. The recently discovered method of continuity solutions was used here. The solution to the governing integral equation gives the direct relationship between the tangential displacements of the crack faces and the applied loading. Now a complete solution to the problem, with formulae for the field of all stresses and displacements, is possible.  相似文献

Conclusions Among the two configurations discussed, the beam has a rather theoretical importance, as an extension and generalization of the cracked beam problem. Unlike this, embedded delaminations can be found often in real constructions. The fact that the maximum value of SERR vs. fibre orientation angle curve for the circular embedded delamination is surpassed by that for the split beam only by three times and by that for the split beam under mode II loading approximately six times means that an embedded delamination can lead to difficulties when the plate is tensed (or compressed — even in an underbuckled state — within the linear approach the non-opening modes of stress concentration will just change their signs when the load changes its sign), especially under a cyclic loading. Of course, the shell model used is fairly rough and does not take in account several features or real delaminations extension and does not allow one to evaluate properly the stress field near the crack front; thus, more analytical and experimental studies would be needed, to establish the crack development process. The 3D analysis is necessary when initiating delaminations are studied, for the beam/plate assumptions can no longer be regarded as necessary since the delamination linear dimensions are comparable to or less than the thickness of the sublaminate.Published in Mekhanika Kompozitnykh Materialov, Vol. 31, No. 1, pp. 45–50, January–February, 1995.  相似文献

Analytical particular solutions of splines and monomials are obtained for problems of thin plate resting on Pasternak foundation under arbitrary loadings, which are governed by a fourth‐order partial differential equation (PDEs). These analytical particular solutions are valuable when the arbitrary loadings are approximated by augmented polyharmonic splines (APS) constructed by splines and monomials. In our derivations, the real coefficient operator in the governing equation is decomposed into two complex coefficient operators whose particular solutions are known in literature. Then, we use the difference trick to recover the analytical particular solutions of the original operator. In addition, we show that the derived particular solution of spline with its first few directional derivatives are bounded as r → 0. This solution procedure may have the potential in obtaining analytical particular solutions of higher order PDEs constructed by products of Helmholtz‐type operators. Furthermore, we demonstrate the usages of these analytical particular solutions by few numerical cases in which the homogeneous solutions are complementarily solved by the method of fundamental solutions (MFS). © 2009 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. By using the expansion of the displacements in a series in a small parameter depending on the characteristics of the material and the load frequency, we study the steady-state torsion vibrations of a hemisphere subject to tangential forces arbitrarily distributed over its surface. An analytical-numerical method of solving the Neumann boundary-value problem for an elastic half-space with a gradient elastic coating is proposed. The problem is formulated and the construction of the fundamental solution (Green’s function) is described. The method enables a solution of the problem to be obtained for a fairly wide class of types of non-uniformity of the medium, and effects related to the non-uniformity are investigated analytically. A procedure for calculating the displacement, stress and strain fields is described. Particular attention is devoted to analysing the mechanical characteristics in the transition region from the coating to the elastic substrate.  相似文献

The paper deals with Chebyshev series based analytical solution for the nonlinear flexural response of the elastically supported moderately thick laminated composite rectangular plates subjected to hygro-thermo-mechanical loading. The mathematical formulation is based on higher order shear deformation theory (HSDT) and von-Karman nonlinear kinematics. The elastic foundation is modeled as shear deformable with cubic nonlinearity. The elastic and hygrothermal properties of the fiber reinforced composite material are considered to be dependent on temperature and moisture concentration and have been evaluated utilizing micromechanics model. The quadratic extrapolation technique is used for linearization and fast converging finite double Chebyshev series is used for spatial discretization of the governing nonlinear equations of equilibrium. The effects of Winkler and Pasternak foundation parameters, temperature and moisture concentration on nonlinear flexural response of the laminated composite rectangular plate with different lamination scheme and boundary conditions are presented.  相似文献

A nonlinear version of the phenomenological theory of long-term strength of polymer materials (viscoelastic bodies) is proposed. It is based on the introduction of a function accounting for the damage accumulation connected with changes in the load intensity. The form of this function may be determined from the results of testing the material with a load changing with time in a certain way, for instance, periodically. As a parameter, the function contains the rate of the changing load or the frequency for periodic loads. For a quasi-isotropic material, the basic relationships of the theory proposed are generalized to the case of combined stresses. The durability (failure time) calculations of the material based on this theory are compared with experimental data for a number of polymer and composite materials in a wide range of loading modes. Résumé Dans ce mémoire nous étudions le problème statique du choix des dimensions suivant: Comment doit varier l'épaisseur de point en point dans les plaques circulaires fléchies du type sandwich, pourque leur poids soit minimum, mais sans qu'il existe du fluage illimité? Comme hypothèse de base, nous avons pris la condition de plasticité devon Mises et la règle de fluage associée. Les plaques sont simplement posées ou encastrées le long de leur contour et portent une charge répartie symétriquement par rapport à l'axe. Les résultats obtenus sont comparés à ceux du problème analogue, où l'on utilise la condition de plasticité deTresca. Nous avons présenté finalement quelques résultats numériques.  相似文献

We consider a type of long‐range percolation problem on the positive integers, motivated by earlier work of others on the appearance of (in)finite words within a site percolation model. The main issue is whether a given infinite binary word appears within an iid Bernoulli sequence at locations that satisfy certain constraints. In this paper applications of multicriteria optimization to design hybrid laminates is shown. In the considered numerical example, the obtained preferred solution is 30% heavier than Carbon/Epoxy laminate and use a third of the more expensive material. Moreover, a small number of layers is needed to build an optimal solution. In the case of scalar optimization three layers are required. In the case of bicriteria optimization one E-Glass/Epoxy layer placed between four Carbon/Epoxy layers is enough to build an optimal laminate. Two criteria may lead to a set of preferred equal solutions. Thus, connection of Pareto concept with a lexicographic order by introduction of an additional criterion is useful for ordering them. A similar approach may be used for designing hybrid laminates with a requirement of a compromise between the stiffness and cost of a plate. (© 2005 WILEY-VCH Verlag GmbH & Co. An investigation is made on interlaminar delamination growth of composite laminated circular plates under in-plane loads and movable delamination boundary conditions. A four-dissociated-region model is developed on the basis of von-Karman plate theory. The model is geometrically nonlinear and the laminated circular plate considered is subjected to axisymmetrical delamination. The effects of transverse shear deformation and contact effect of the delamination on the laminated plates are taking into account in the development of the governing equations of the laminated circular pates with random axisymmetrical delamination. The formulas for describing the total energy release rate and its individual mode components along the delamination front are also derived with considerations of Griffith criterion for fracture. Based on the model established, the delamination growth is numerically studied; and the influences of the parameters such as delamination radii and depths, together with material properties of the plates on the energy release rate are analyzed in detail.  相似文献

In this article, homotopy analysis method (HAM) is employed to investigate non-linear large deformation of Euler–Bernoulli beams subjected to an arbitrary distributed load. Constitutive equations of the problem are obtained. It is assumed that the length of the beam remains constant after applying external loads. Different auxiliary parameters and functions of the HAM and the extra auxiliary parameter, which is applied to initial guess of the solution, are employed to procure better convergence rate of the solution. The results of the solution are obtained for two different examples including constant cross sectional beam subjected to constant distributed load and periodic distributed load. Special base functions, orthogonal polynomials e.g. Chebyshev expansion, are employed as a tool to improve the convergence of the solution. The general solution, presented in this paper, can be used to attain the solution of the beam under arbitrary distributed load and flexural stiffness. Ultimately, it is shown that small deformation theory overestimates different quantities such as bending moment, shear force, etc. for large deflection of the beams in comparison with large deformation theory. Finally, it is concluded that solution of small deformation theory is far from reality for large deflection of straight Euler–Bernoulli beams.  相似文献

Dynamic response of a thin rectangular plate traversed by a moving inertia load with arbitrary boundary condition is investigated through this paper. The inertia effect of mass is considered and relevant formulation is established based on the full-term of acceleration, employing the method of Boundary Characteristic Orthogonal Polynomials, BCOP. To acquire the complete solution of partial differential equations governing on the plate, the Galerkin method is used to separate the temporal function from the spatial one. The problem is formulated in the state space and applying the numerical method of Matrix Exponential the complete solution would be achieved. In the numerical studies, a comprehensive parametric study is performed for both cases of loading when inertia effect is included or neglected. Several mass and aspect ratios for the plate with major types of boundary conditions CCCC, SSSS, CFCF and SFSF are accounted for presenting the results. Dynamic amplification factor against velocity parameter is scrutinized within many graphs alongside with a time history analysis of dynamic deflection for the plate's mid-span. Investigating on the dynamic response concludes to the critical boundary condition upon moving mass. By introducing a conversion factor, the margin of inertia and the critical velocity where happened would be achieved, then through a regression analysis a curve fitting model of polynomials is proposed. Corresponding coefficients testify the goodness of fit for such regression which are reported within tables. Referring to this simplified model of conversion factor pertaining to the specific boundary condition, it would be possible to handle the problem in moving load case without undertaking the complexities arisen from inertia contribution into the formulation. Having derived the factor from simplified model which has been calculated for a specific mass and velocity ratio, then multiplying into the moving load response, the complete solution for moving mass would be achieved.  相似文献
