In this paper, we derive characterizations of boundedness of subsequences of partial sums with respect to Vilenkin system on the martingale Hardy spaces Hp when 0 < p < 1. Moreover, we find necessary and sufficient conditions for the modulus of continuity of martingales fHp, which provide convergence of subsequences of partial sums on the martingale Hardy spaces Hp. It is also proved that these results are the best possible in a special sense. As applications, some known and new results are pointed out.  相似文献

Given a family of self-adjoint operators \({(A_t)_{t \in T}}\) indexed by a parameter t in some topological space T, necessary and sufficient conditions are given for the spectrum \({\sigma(A_t)}\) to be Vietoris continuous with respect to t. Equivalently the boundaries and the gap edges are continuous in t. If (T, d) is a complete metric space with metric d, these conditions are extended to guarantee Hölder continuity of the spectral boundaries and of the spectral gap edges. As a corollary, an upper bound is provided for the size of closing gaps.  相似文献

Motivated by K-frames and fusion frames, we study K-fusion frames in Hilbert spaces. By the means of operator K, frame operators and quotient operators, several necessary and sufficient conditions for a sequence of closed subspaces and weights to be a K-fusion frame are obtained, and operators preserving K-fusion frames are discussed. In particular, we are interested in the K-fusion frames with the structure of unitary systems. Given a unitary system which has a complete wandering subspace, we give a necessary and sufficient condition for a closed subspace to be a K-fusion frame generator.  相似文献

We prove that if T is a complete theory with weak elimination of imaginaries, then there is an explicit bijection between strict independence relations for T and strict independence relations for \({T^{\rm eq}}\). We use this observation to show that if T is the theory of the Fraïssé limit of finite metric spaces with integer distances, then \({T^{\rm eq}}\) has more than one strict independence relation. This answers a question of Adler (J Math Log 9(1):1–20, 2009, Question 1.7).  相似文献

In this paper we introduce the expectile order, defined by X e Y if e α (X) ≤e α (Y) for each α ∈ (0, 1), where e α denotes the α-expectile. We show that the expectile order is equivalent to the pointwise ordering of the Omega ratios, and we derive several necessary and sufficient conditions. In the case of equal means, the expectile order can be easily characterized by means of the stop-loss transform; in the more general case of different means we provide some sufficient conditions. In contrast with the more common stochastic orders such as ≤ s t and ≤ c x , the expectile order is not generated by a class of utility functions and is not closed with respect to convolutions. As an illustration, we compare the ≤ s t , ≤ i c x and ≤ e orders in the family of Lomax distributions and compare Lomax distributions fitted to real world data of natural disasters in the U.S. caused by different sources of weather risk like storms or floods.  相似文献

Let (C, α) and (H, β) be Hom-bialgebras and ω: C ?HH ?C a linear map. We introduce a Hom-ω-smash coproduct (C ω ? H, γ) and give necessary and sufficient conditions for (C ω ? H, γ) to be a Hom-bialgebra. We study the quasi-triangular structures over (C ω ? H, γ) and show the necessary and sufficient conditions for (C ω ? H, γ, R) to be a quasi-triangular Hom-Hopf algebra. As applications of our results, we introduce the concept of D(H)* and construct quasi-triangular structures over D(H)*.  相似文献

In this paper, we explore some probabilistic and statistical properties of constant conditional correlation (CCC) multivariate periodic GARCH models (CCC ? PGARCH for short). These models which encompass some interesting classes having (locally) long memory property, play an outstanding role in modelling multivariate financial time series exhibiting certain heteroskedasticity. So, we give in the first part some basic structural properties of such models as conditions ensuring the existence of the strict stationary and geometric ergodic solution (in periodic sense). As a result, it is shown that the moments of some positive order for strictly stationary solution of CCC ? PGARCH models are finite.Upon this finding, we focus in the second part on the quasi-maximum likelihood (QML) estimator for estimating the unknown parameters involved in the models. So we establish strong consistency and asymptotic normality (CAN) of CCC ? PGARCH models.  相似文献

Analysis of large dimensional contingency tables is rather difficult. Fienberg and Kim (1999, Journal of American Statistical Association, 94, 229–239) studied the problem of combining conditional (on single variable) log-linear structures for graphical models to obtain partial information about the full graphical log-linear model. In this paper, we consider the general log-linear models and obtain explicit representation for the log-linear parameters of the full model based on that of conditional structures. As a consequence, we give conditions under which a particular log-linear parameter is present or not in the full model. Some of the main results of Fienberg and Kim follow from our results. The explicit relationships between full model and the conditional structures are also presented. The connections between conditional structures and the layer structures are pointed out. We investigate also the hierarchical nature of the full model, based on conditional structures. Kim (2006, Computational Statistics and Data Analysis, 50, 2044–2064) analyzed graphical log-linear models based on conditional log-linear structures, when a set of variables is conditioned. For this case, we employ the Möbius inversion technique to obtain the interaction parameters of the full log-linear model, and discuss their properties. The hierarchical nature of the full model is also studied based on conditional structures. This result could be effectively used for the model selection also. As applications of our results, we have discussed several typical examples, including a real-life example.  相似文献

For Fermat curves F: aX n + bY n = Z n defined over F q , we establish necessary and sufficient conditions for F to be F q -Frobenius nonclassical with respect to the linear system of plane cubics. In the new F q -Frobenius nonclassical cases, we determine explicit formulas for the number N q (F) of F q -rational points on F. For the remaining Fermat curves, nice upper bounds for N q (F) are immediately given by the Stöhr–Voloch Theory.  相似文献

Let S be a locally compact Hausdorff semigroup, and \(\mathfrak {A}\) a solid subalgebra of measure algebra M(S). In this paper, among other results, we find necessary and sufficient conditions on S that implies \(\mathfrak {A}\) is a semi-topological or a topological algebra with respect to the strict topology on M(S). Applications to discrete semigroups, Brandt semigroups and Clifford semigroups are given. An example establishes negatively the open question of Maghsoudi (Semigroup Forum 86:133–139, 2012). Also, we give a correct proof of Proposition 2.1 of Maghsoudi (2012).  相似文献

We study properties of the infimal topology τinf which is the infimum of the family of all topologies of uniform convergence defined on the set C(X, Y) of continuous maps into a metrizable space Y. One of the main results of the research consists in obtaining necessary and sufficient condition for the topology τinf to have the Fréchet–Urysohn property. We also establish necessary and sufficient conditions for coincidence of the topology τinf and a topology of uniform convergence τμ (“attaining” the infimum). We prove that for this coincidence it is sufficient for the topology τinf to satisfy the first axiom of countability.  相似文献

Let \(M\subset {\mathbb {C}}^N\) and \(M'\subset {\mathbb {C}}^{N'}\) be real-analytic CR submanifolds, with M minimal. We provide a new sufficient condition, that happens to be also essentially necessary, for all sufficiently smooth CR maps \(h:U\rightarrow M'\) defined on a connected open subset of M and of rank larger than a prescribed integer r to be real-analytic on a dense open subset of U. This condition corresponds to the nonexistence of nontrivial holomorphic deformations of germs of real-analytic CR mappings whose rank is larger than r. As a consequence, we obtain several new results about analyticity of CR mappings that, at the same time, generalize and unify a number of previous existing ones.  相似文献

Given a graph G with n vertices and an Abelian group A of order n, an A-distance antimagic labelling of G is a bijection from V (G) to A such that the vertices of G have pairwise distinct weights, where the weight of a vertex is the sum (under the operation of A) of the labels assigned to its neighbours. An A-distance magic labelling of G is a bijection from V (G) to A such that the weights of all vertices of G are equal to the same element of A. In this paper we study these new labellings under a general setting with a focus on product graphs. We prove among other things several general results on group antimagic or magic labellings for Cartesian, direct and strong products of graphs. As applications we obtain several families of graphs admitting group distance antimagic or magic labellings with respect to elementary Abelian groups, cyclic groups or direct products of such groups.  相似文献

We prove several existence and uniqueness results for L p (p > 1) solutions of reflected BSDEs with continuous barriers and generators satisfying a one-sided Osgood condition together with a general growth condition in y and a uniform continuity condition or a linear growth condition in z. A necessary and sufficient condition with respect to the growth of barrier is also explored to ensure the existence of a solution. And, we show that the solutions may be approximated by the penalization method and by some sequences of solutions of reflected BSDEs. These results are obtained due to the development of those existing ideas and methods together with the application of new ideas and techniques, and they unify and improve some known works.  相似文献

A subgroup H of a finite group G is called a c#-normal subgroup of G if there exists a normal subgroup K of G such that G = HK and HK is a CAP-subgroup of G: In this paper, we investigate the influence of fewer c#-normal subgroups of Sylow p-subgroups on the p-supersolvability, p-nilpotency, and supersolvability of finite groups. We obtain some new sufficient and necessary conditions for a group to be p-supersolvable, p-nilpotent, and supersolvable. Our results improve and extend many known results.  相似文献

We prove that if X, Y are Banach spaces, Ω a compact Hausdorff space and U:C(Ω, X) → Y is a bounded linear operator, and if U is a Dunford-Pettis operator the range of the representing measure G(Σ) ? DP(X, Y) is an uniformly Dunford-Pettis family of operators and ∥G∥ is continuous at Ø. As applications of this result we give necessary and/or sufficient conditions that some bounded linear operators on the space C([0, 1], X) with values in c 0 or l p, (1 ≤ p < ∞) be Dunford-Pettis and/or compact operators, in which, Khinchin’s inequality plays an important role.  相似文献

Edge-colourings of graphs have been studied for decades. We study edge-colourings with respect to hereditary graph properties. For a graph G, a hereditary graph property P and l ? 1 we define \(X{'_{P,l}}\)(G) to be the minimum number of colours needed to properly colour the edges of G, such that any subgraph of G induced by edges coloured by (at most) l colours is in P. We present a necessary and sufficient condition for the existence of \(X{'_{P,l}}\)(G). We focus on edge-colourings of graphs with respect to the hereditary properties Ok and Sk, where Ok contains all graphs whose components have order at most k+1, and Sk contains all graphs of maximum degree at most k. We determine the value of \(X{'_{{S_k},l}}(G)\) for any graph G, k ? 1, l ? 1, and we present a number of results on \(X{'_{{O_k},l}}(G)\).  相似文献

In this note, we give a necessary and sufficient condition for viability property of diffusion processes with jumps on closed submanifolds of R m . Our result is the system is viable in a closed submanifold K iff the coefficients are tangent to K along K if the equation is in the sense of stratonovich integral and the solution jumps from K to K.  相似文献

In this article we give necessary and sufficient conditions for the boundedness of the weighted Hardy-Cesà ro operators which is associated to the parameter curve γ(t, x) = γ(t)x defined by \({U_{\psi ,\gamma }}f\left( x \right) = \int {\left( {\gamma \left( t \right)x} \right)} \psi \left( t \right)dt\) on the weighted Morrey-Herz space over the p-adic field. Especially, the corresponding operator norms are established in each case. These results actually extend those of K. S. Rim and J. Lee [27] and of the authors [9]. Moreover, the sufficient conditions of boundedness of commutators of p-adic weighted Hardy-Cesàro operator with symbols in the Lipschitz space on the weighted Morrey-Herz space are also established.  相似文献
