5-(2-hydroxyphenyl)-1,2-dimethyl(1-methyl-2-vinylaryl)-1H-1,3,4-triazoles and their complexes with Zn(II)

The interaction of 2,3-dimethyl-4-oxo-1,3-benzoxazinium and 2-[β-(4-bromophenylvinyl)]-3-methyl-4-oxo-1,3-benzoxazinium perchlorates with hydrazine hydrate has afforded the corresponding triazoles that have been used as ligands for the synthesis of zinc complexes L₂Zn. Luminescent properties of the prepared complexes have been studied.

     

Reactions of 4-oxo-1,3-benzoxazinium perchlorates with sodium borohydride

Reduction of 4-oxo-1,3-benzoxazinium perchlorates with sodium borohydride depending on the structure of starting salt and the reaction conditions leads to different products. 2-Alkyl- and 2-phenylsubstituted salts react with sodium borohydride to give 2,3-dihydro-4-oxo-1,3-benzoxazines. 2-Arylvinyl- and 2-heterylvinyl-substituted perchlorates either form 4-oxo-1,3-benzoxazines or undergo hydrogenation to arylor heterylethyldihydrobenzoxazinones.

Synthesis and acid-catalyzed transformations of solvomercuration adducts of 2-nitrobenzylcyclopropane. First stable metalated 1-oxo-3,4-dihydro-1H-2,1-benzoxazinium ions

Sovomercuration adducts of 2-nitrobenzyl-, 2-nitro-4,5-(ethylenedioxy)benzyl-, and 4,5-dimethoxy-2-nitrobenzylcyclopropanes were synthesized. The adducts reacted with sulfuric, fluorosulfonic, or chlorosulfonic acid to give 3-(2-chloromercurio)ethyl-1-oxo-3,4-dihydro-1H-2,1-benzoxazinium ions whose stability depended on the nature of substituents in the aromatic ring. Unstable metalated 1-oxo-3,4-dihydro-1H-2,1-benzoxazinium ions underwent fast protodemercuration to form metal-free 3-ethyl-1-oxo-3,4-dihydro-1H-2,1-benzoxazinium ions. Stable analogs in the above acids did not change to an appreciable extent over a period of 48–72 h. Hydrolysis of stable metalated 1-oxo-1,3-dihydro-2,1-benzoxazolium ions afforded only 4-chloromercurio-1-(2-nitroaryl)butan-2-ol.

Condensation of 2-alkyl-4-oxo-1,3-benzoxazinium salts with carbonyl compounds and their heteroanalogs

A method is proposed for the synthesis of 2-(-dimethylaminovinyl)-4-oxo-1,3-benzoxazinium salts and dimethyl (4-oxo-3H-1,3-benzoxazine-2-methylene) sulfonium salts by condensation of 2-alkylbenzoxazinonium salts with dimethylformamide and dimethyl sulfoxide.Translated from Khimiya Geterotsiklichesikikh Soedinenii, No. 3, pp. 328–331, March, 1977.     

Photochromic and thermochromic spirans

New spiropyrans of the 4-oxo-3,4-dihydro-2H-1,3-benzoxazine series, individual representatives of which have photochromic properties, were obtained by condensation of 2-alkyl-4-oxo-1,3-benzoxazinium perchlorates with aromatic o-hydroxy aldehydes in acetic acid and subsequent treatment of the 2-(o-hydroxystyryl) derivatives with pyridine or triethylamine. Synthesis of 1-(benzothiazol-2-yl)-5-(o-hydroxyphenyl)-1H-1,2,4-triazoles

Recyclization of 4-oxo-1,3-benzoxazinium perchlorates by the action of benzothiazolylhydrazine gave previously unknown benzothiazolyl-substituted 1,2,4-triazoles that attract interest as potential biologically active substances. The structure of the isolated compounds was determined on the basis of their IR and ¹H and ¹³C NMR spectra.

A method was developed for the synthesis of 4-oxo-(-ethoxyvinyl)-4H-1,3-benzoxazinium salts by condensation of oxo-2-alkylbenzoxazinium salts by condensation of oxo-2-alkylbenzoxazinium salts with ethyl orthoformate. During hydrolysis and aminolysis, attack of the nucleophile is directed to the -carbon atom of the benzoxazinium salts. Synthesis of Some 3-Substituted 1,2-Dihydroindoles

The reaction of 4-oxo-2-(2-oxo-1,2-dihydroindol-3-ylidene)hydrazone-1,3-thiazin-6-methyl carboxylate 2 with hydrazine hydrate in methanol gave 4-oxo-2-(2-oxo-1,2-dihydroindol-3-ylidene)hydrazone-1,3-thiazin-6-carbonylhydrazine 3. Furthermore, the reaction of 3 with carbon disulfide and then hydrazine hydrate afforded 3-[6-(4-amino-5-thioxo-4,5-dihydro-1H-1,2,4-triazol-3-yl)-4-oxo-1,3-thiazin-2-yl] hydrazone-1,3-dihydroindol-2-one 5. the latest reacted with DMAD to give {6-hydroxy-3-[4-oxo-2-(2-oxo-1,2-dihydroindol-3-ylidene)hydrazone-1,3-thiazin-6yl]-[1,2,4]triazolo[3,4-b][1,3,4]thiadiazin-7-ylidene}methoxycarbonylmethylene 6.     

Investigations in the series of heterocycles. 55. Synthesis and some reactions of 2-aryl-4-halo-6-oxo-1,3-thiazines

The reaction of 2-aryl-4-hydroxy-6-oxo-1,3-thiazines with Vilsmeier's reagent results in the formation of a mixture of 2-aryl-6-oxo-4-chloro-1,3-thiazines and their 5-formyl analogs. Reactions involving the nucleophilic replacement of the halogen and nucleophilic addition to an aldehydic group have been studied. The intramolecular cyclization of the oxime and phenylhydrazone of 6-oxo-2-phenyl-5-formyl-4-chloro-1,3-thiazine gives new heteroaromatic systems, viz., isoxazolo-[4,5-d]-1,3-thiazine and pyrazolo]4,5-d]-1,3-thiazine, respectively.For report 54 see [1].Translated from Khimiya Geterotsiklicheskikh Soedinenii, No. 10, pp. 1328–1334, October, 1984.     

Synthesis of some substituted 1,3-thiazolines and 1,3-thiazolidines

Sodium salts of 2, 2-dimethyl-4-mercapto-5-oxo-1,3-thiazoline and 2-oxo-3-mercapto-1-thia-4-azaspiro[4.5]dec-3-ene, obtained from a solvate of sodium cyanodithioformate with three molecules of dimethylformamide, acetone, or cyclohexanone in the presence of morpholine, react with chlorothioformic dimethylamide with the formation of 2,2-dimethyl-5-oxo-4-(dimethylaminothiocarbonylthio)-1,3-thiazoline and 2-oxo-3-(dimethylaminothiocarbonylthio)-1-thia-4-azaspiro[4.5]dec-3-ene, respectively, and during acidolysis by hydrochloric acid they are converted to 2,2-dimethyl-5-oxo-4-thiono-1,3-thiazolidine and 2-oxo-3-thiono-1-thia-4-azaspiro[4.5]decane. The latter compounds are facilely phosphorylated by dialkyl chlorophosphonates at the nitrogen atom. Heterocyclic Ions From N-Oxides of N-(4-Nitrobenzylidene)-2-cyclopropylaniline and N-(4-Nitrobenzylidene)-2-cyclopropylmethylniline: Formation, Isomerization, and Conversions

The N-oxide of N-(4-nitrobenzylidene)-2-cyclopropylaniline is converted by the action of strong acids into the corresponding 2,1-benzoxazinium derivative. Under identical conditions the N-oxide of N-(4-nitrobenzylidene)-2-cyclopropylmethylaniline forms the corresponding 2,1-benzoxazinium and 2,1-benzoxazepinium salts in a ratio of 1 : 2. The 2,1-benzoxazepinium ions are thermodynamically less stable and are isomerized with time into 2,1-benzoxazinium ions. Treatment of 2,1-benzoxazinium salts with hydrobromic acid solution and subsequent neutralization leads to o-(2-hydroxyalkyl)anilines and p-nitrobenzaldehyde. The effect of the nature of the ortho substituent on the direction of the conversions of the corresponding arylcyclopropanes is discussed.     

Synthesis of Some New Thiazoles and Pyrazolo[1,5-a]pyrimidines Containing an Antipyrine Moiety

Ethyl 2-{2-[4-(2,3-dimethyl-5-oxo-1-phenyl-3-(pyrazolin-4-yl)]-2-cyano-1-(phenylamino)vinylthio}-acetate, 2-[4-(2,3-dimethyl-5-oxo-1-phenyl-(3-pyrazolin-4-yl))(1,3-thiazol-2-yl)]2-(4-oxo-3-phenyl-(1,3-thiazoilidin-2-ylidene))ethanenitrile, 2-[4-(2,3-dimethyl-5-oxo-1-phenyl(3-pyrazolin-4-yl))(1,3-thiazol-2-yl)]-2-(4-methyl-3-phenyl(1,3-thiazolin-2-ylidene))ethanenitrile, 2-(5-acetyl-4-methyl-3-phenyl(1,3-thiazolin-2-ylidene))-2-[4-(2,3-dimethyl-5-oxo-1-phenyl(3-pyrazolin-4-yl))(1,3-thiazol-2-yl)]ethanenitrile, and ethyl 2-(cyano(4-(2,3-dihydro-1,5-dimethyl-3-oxo-2-phenyl-1H-pyrazol-4-yl)thiazol-2-yl)methylene)-2,3-dihydro-4-methyl-3-phenylthiazole-5-carboxylate were synthesized by treatment of 2-(4-(2,3-dihydro-1,5-dimethyl-3-oxo-2-phenyl-1H-pyrazol-4-yl)thiazol-2-yl)-3-mercapto-3-(phenylamino)-acrylonitrile with appropriate halo ketones or halo esters. Also, 4-{2-[5,7-dimethyl-2-(phenylamino)(7a-hydropyrazolo[1,5-a]pyrimidin-3-yl](1,-thiazol-4-yl)}-2,3-dimethyl-1-phenyl-3-pyrazolin-5-one derivatives were synthesized via reaction of 4-{2-[5-amino-3-(phenylamino)pyrazolin-4-yl](1,3-thiazol-2-yl)}-2,3-dimethyl-1-phenyl-3-pyrazolin-5-one with β-diketone or β-keto ester. All synthesized compound were established by elemental analysis, spectral data, and alternative synthesis whenever possible.     

Preparation and polymerization of some vinyl monomers containing the 2-oxo-1,3-dioxolane group

The syntheses and polymerizations of (2-oxo-1,3-dioxolan-4-yl)methyl acrylate, 4-(2-oxo-1,3-dioxolan-4-yl)methyl itaconate, and (2-oxo-1,3-dioxolan-4-yl)methyl maleate are described. Reactivity ratios in the copolymerization of these monomers with other comonomers are reported and the Alfrey-Price Q and e values calculated. The post-polymerization effects of ultraviolet light and heat on these polymers and copolymers are presented and compared to those for similar polymers containing the 2,2-dimethyl-1,3-dixolane groups, which performs as an internal ultraviolet sensitizer. The 2-oxo derivatives are crosslinked thermally but not by ultraviolet light. The crosslinking reaction can be catalyzed by acids, bases, and salts.     

ADDUCTS FROM 2, 3-DIARYL-5-PHENYLMETHYLENE-4-OXO-1, 3-THIAZOLIDINE-1-OXIDES

Abstract

5-Phenylrnethylene-2, 3-diaryl-4-oxo-1,3-thiazolidine-1-oxides 2 which synthesised via peracetic acid oxidation of the respective 1, 3-thiazolidines 1 reacted with benzylamine and Grignard reagents to afford the respective 5-α-substituted benzyl-2, 3-diaryl-4-oxo-1,3-thiazolidine-l-oxides 3 and 4. Structures of 3 and 4 were based on analytical and spectral evidence.     

Synthesis of 1,3-dioxolane derivatives

Chloral cyanomethylhemiacetal is converted to 2-trichloromethyl-4-imino-1,3-dioxolane under the influence of hydrogen chloride or pyridine. Acetone cyanohydrin reacts with chloral to give 2-trichloromethyl-4-imino-5,5-dimethyl-1,3-dioxolane, the hydrochloride of which in water gives 2-trichloromethyl-4-oxo-5,5-dimethyl-1,3-dioxolane.     

The reaction of 1,3-dibutyl-2-ethoxy-4,5-dimethyl-2-oxo-1,3,2-diazaphosphol-4-ene with tetracyanoethylene

The reaction of 1,3-dibutyl-2-ethoxy-4,5-dimethyl-2-oxo-1,3,2-diazaphosphol-4-ene with tetracyanoethylene gives 6-amino-1,3-dibutyl-5-cyano-2-ethoxy-4-(1-imino-2-cyanoethyl)-2-oxo-1,3,2-diazaphosphindane.Translated fromIzvestiya Akademii Nauk. 3-Aryl- and 2,3-Diaryl-4-oxo-4,5,6,7-tetrahydroindazoles. 1. Reactions of Phenyl- and Tosylhydrazones of Dimedone and Cyclohexane-1,3-dione with Substituted Benzaldehydes

Sixteen 3-aryl-4-oxo-2-phenyl-4,5,6,7-tetrahydroindazoles were obtained from the reaction of the phenylhydrazones of dimedone and cyclohexane-1,3-dione with 3-bromo-, 4-bromo-, 4-chloro-, 4-fluoro-, 2-hydroxy-, 4-hydroxy-, 4-methoxy-, 2-nitro-, 3-nitro-, 4-nitro-, and 4-dimethylamino-benzaldehydes. 氢化喹啉及其芳(杂)环稠合衍生物的合成

通过环己二酮与β-二腈基苯乙烯的Michael加成得到2-氨基-3-氰基-4-芳基-5-氧代-1,4,5,6,7,8-六氢喹啉(1); 4-苯基六氢喹啉(1a)与环己二酮发生胺的加成缩合反应生成2-N-(3-氧代-1-环己烯基)氨基-3-氰基-4-苯基-5-氧代-1,4,5,6,7,8-六氢喹啉(2), 在碱性和氯化亚铜催化下进一步环合成4-苯基-5-氨基-二-(2-氧代环己烷)并[b,g]-1,3-二氢萘啶(3). 芳醛、α-萘胺和环己二酮在乙醇中共回流, 则一锅法完成9-芳基-5,6,7,8,9,10-六氢苯并[c]吖啶酮(4)的合成. 对合成中所涉及的化学反应机理进行了尝试性的讨论. 新化合物1a～4c均经IR, ¹H NMR 及元素分析证明其结构.
