We consider the stochastic differential equation (SDE) of the form
$$\begin{array}{@{}rcl@{}} \left\{\begin{array}{rcl} dX^ x(t) &=& \sigma(X(t-)) dL(t) \\ X^ x(0)&=&x,\quad x\in{\mathbb{R}}^ d, \end{array}\right. \end{array} $$
where \(\sigma :{\mathbb {R}}^ d\to {\mathbb {R}}^ d\) is globally Lipschitz continuous and L={L(t):t≥0} is a Lévy process. Under this condition on σ it is well known that the above problem has a unique solution X. Let \((\mathcal {P}_{t})_{t\ge 0}\) be the Markovian semigroup associated to X defined by \(\left ({\mathcal {P}}_{t} f\right ) (x) := \mathbb {E} \left [ f(X^ x(t))\right ]\), t≥0, \(x\in {\mathbb {R}}^{d}\), \(f\in \mathcal {B}_{b}({\mathbb {R}}^{d})\). Let B be a pseudo–differential operator characterized by its symbol q. Fix \(\rho \in \mathbb {R}\). In this article we investigate under which conditions on σ, L and q there exist two constants γ>0 and C>0 such that
$$\left| B {\mathcal{P}}_{t} u \right|_{H^{\rho}_{2}} \le C \, t^{-\gamma} \,\left| u \right|_{H^{\rho}_{2}}, \quad \forall u \in {H^{\rho}_{2}}(\mathbb{R}^{d} ),\, t>0. $$

First we show that the quadratic decomposition of the Appell polynomials with respect to the q-divided difference operator is supplied by two other Appell sequences with respect to a new operator \(\mathcal{M}_{q;q^{-\varepsilon}}\), where ε represents a complex parameter different from any negative even integer number. While seeking all the orthogonal polynomial sequences invariant under the action of \(\mathcal{M}_{\sqrt{q};q^{-\varepsilon/2}}\) (the \(\mathcal{M}_{\sqrt{q};q^{-\varepsilon/2}}\)-Appell), only the Wall q-polynomials with parameter q ε/2+1 are achieved, up to a linear transformation. This brings a new characterization of these polynomial sequences.  相似文献

In this paper, we study the existence and multiplicity of homoclinic solutions for the following second-order p(t)-Laplacian–Hamiltonian systems
$$\frac{{\rm d}}{{\rm d}t}(|\dot{u}(t)|^{p(t)-2}\dot{u}(t))-a(t)|u(t)|^{p(t)-2}u(t)+\nabla W(t,u(t))=0,$$
where \({t \in \mathbb{R}}\), \({u \in \mathbb{R}^n}\), \({p \in C(\mathbb{R},\mathbb{R})}\) with p(t) > 1, \({a \in C(\mathbb{R},\mathbb{R})}\), \({W\in C^1(\mathbb{R}\times\mathbb{R}^n,\mathbb{R})}\) and \({\nabla W(t,u)}\) is the gradient of W(t, u) in u. The point is that, assuming that a(t) is bounded in the sense that there are constants \({0<\tau_1<\tau_2<\infty}\) such that \({\tau_1\leq a(t)\leq \tau_2 }\) for all \({t \in \mathbb{R}}\) and W(t, u) is of super-p(t) growth or sub-p(t) growth as \({|u|\rightarrow \infty}\), we provide two new criteria to ensure the existence and multiplicity of homoclinic solutions, respectively. Recent results in the literature are extended and significantly improved.

Let \(p\in (1,\infty )\) and \(q\in [1,\infty )\). In this article, the authors characterize the Triebel-Lizorkin space \({F}^{\alpha }_{p,q}(\mathbb {R}^{n})\) with smoothness order α ∈ (0, 2) via the Lusin-area function and the \(g_{\lambda }^{*}\)-function in terms of difference between f(x) and its ball average \(B_{t}f(x):=\frac 1{|B(x,t)|}{\int }_{B(x,t)}f(y)\,dy\) over the ball B(x, t) centered at \(x\in \mathbb {R}^{n}\) with radius t ∈ (0, 1). As an application, the authors obtain a series of characterizations of \(F^{\alpha }_{p,\infty }(\mathbb {R}^{n})\) via pointwise inequalities, involving ball averages, in spirit close to Haj?asz gradients, here some interesting phenomena naturally appear that, in the end-point case when α = 2, some of these pointwise inequalities characterize the Triebel-Lizorkin spaces \(F^{2}_{p,2}(\mathbb {R}^{n})\), while not \(F^{2}_{p,\infty }(\mathbb {R}^{n})\), and that some of other obtained pointwise characterizations are only known to hold true for \(F^{\alpha }_{p,\infty }(\mathbb {R}^{n})\) with \(p\in (1,\infty )\), α ∈ (0, 2) or α ∈ (n/p, 2). In particular, some new pointwise characterizations of Haj?asz-Sobolev spaces via ball averages are obtained. Since these new characterizations only use ball averages, they can be used as starting points for developing a theory of Triebel-Lizorkin spaces with smoothness orders not less than 1 on spaces of homogeneous type.  相似文献

A linear combination Π q,α = cos(απ/2)P + sin(απ/2)Q of the Poisson kernel P(t) = 1/2 + q cos t + q 2 cos 2t + ... and its conjugate kernel Q(t) = q sin t + q 2 sin 2t + ... is considered for α ∈ ? and |q| < 1. A new explicit formula is found for the value E n?1 q,α ) of the best approximation in the space L = L 2π of the function Π q,α by the subspace of trigonometric polynomials of order at most n ? 1. More exactly, it is proved that \(E_{n - 1} \left( {\prod _{q,\alpha } } \right) = \left. {\frac{{\left| q \right|^n \left( {1 - q^2 } \right)}}{{1 - q^{4n} }}} \right\|\left. {\frac{{\cos \left( {nt - {{\alpha \pi } \mathord{\left/ {\vphantom {{\alpha \pi } 2}} \right. \kern-\nulldelimiterspace} 2}} \right) - q^{2n} \cos \left( {nt + {{\alpha \pi } \mathord{\left/ {\vphantom {{\alpha \pi } 2}} \right. \kern-\nulldelimiterspace} 2}} \right)}}{{1 - q^2 - 2q \cos t}}} \right\|_L\). In addition, the value E n?1 q,α ) is represented as a rapidly convergent series.  相似文献

Let \(\mathrm{SM}_{2n}(S^1,\mathbb {R})\) be a set of stable Morse functions of an oriented circle such that the number of singular points is \(2n\in \mathbb {N}\) and the order of singular values satisfies the particular condition. For an orthogonal projection \(\pi :\mathbb {R}^2\rightarrow \mathbb {R}\), let \({\tilde{f}}_0\) and \({\tilde{f}}_1:S^1\rightarrow \mathbb {R}^2\) be embedding lifts of f. If there is an ambient isotopy \(\tilde{\varphi }_t:\mathbb {R}^2\rightarrow \mathbb {R}^2\) \((t\in [0,1])\) such that \({\pi \circ \tilde{\varphi }}_t(y_1,y_2)=y_1\) and \(\tilde{\varphi }_1\circ {\tilde{f}}_0={\tilde{f}}_1\), we say that \({\tilde{f}}_0\) and \({\tilde{f}}_1\) are height isotopic. We define a function \(I:\mathrm{SM}_{2n}(S^1,\mathbb {R})\rightarrow \mathbb {N}\) as follows: I(f) is the number of height isotopy classes of embeddings such that each rotation number is one. In this paper, we determine the maximal value of the function I equals the n-th Baxter number and the minimal value equals \(2^{n-1}\).  相似文献

We consider the Anderson polymer partition function
$$\begin{aligned} u(t):=\mathbb {E}^X\left[ e^{\int _0^t \mathrm {d}B^{X(s)}_s}\right] \,, \end{aligned}$$
where \(\{B^{x}_t\,;\, t\ge 0\}_{x\in \mathbb {Z}^d}\) is a family of independent fractional Brownian motions all with Hurst parameter \(H\in (0,1)\), and \(\{X(t)\}_{t\in \mathbb {R}^{\ge 0}}\) is a continuous-time simple symmetric random walk on \(\mathbb {Z}^d\) with jump rate \(\kappa \) and started from the origin. \(\mathbb {E}^X\) is the expectation with respect to this random walk. We prove that when \(H\le 1/2\), the function u(t) almost surely grows asymptotically like \(e^{\lambda t}\), where \(\lambda >0\) is a deterministic number. More precisely, we show that as t approaches \(+\infty \), the expression \(\{\frac{1}{t}\log u(t)\}_{t\in \mathbb {R}^{>0}}\) converges both almost surely and in the \(\hbox {L}^1\) sense to some positive deterministic number \(\lambda \). For \(H>1/2\), we first show that \(\lim _{t\rightarrow \infty } \frac{1}{t}\log u(t)\) exists both almost surely and in the \(\hbox {L}^1\) sense and equals a strictly positive deterministic number (possibly \(+\infty \)); hence, almost surely u(t) grows asymptotically at least like \(e^{\alpha t}\) for some deterministic constant \(\alpha >0\). On the other hand, we also show that almost surely and in the \(\hbox {L}^1\) sense, \(\limsup _{t\rightarrow \infty } \frac{1}{t\sqrt{\log t}}\log u(t)\) is a deterministic finite real number (possibly zero), hence proving that almost surely u(t) grows asymptotically at most like \(e^{\beta t\sqrt{\log t}}\) for some deterministic positive constant \(\beta \). Finally, for \(H>1/2\) when \(\mathbb {Z}^d\) is replaced by a circle endowed with a Hölder continuous covariance function, we show that \(\limsup _{t\rightarrow \infty } \frac{1}{t}\log u(t)\) is a deterministic finite positive real number, hence proving that almost surely u(t) grows asymptotically at most like \(e^{c t}\) for some deterministic positive constant c.

Let q be a prime and A a finite q-group of exponent q acting by automorphisms on a finite \(q'\)-group G. Assume that A has order at least \(q^3\). We show that if \(\gamma _{\infty } (C_{G}(a))\) has order at most m for any \(a \in A^{\#}\), then the order of \(\gamma _{\infty } (G)\) is bounded solely in terms of m and q. If \(\gamma _{\infty } (C_{G}(a))\) has rank at most r for any \(a \in A^{\#}\), then the rank of \(\gamma _{\infty } (G)\) is bounded solely in terms of r and q.  相似文献

In this paper, we mainly study the theory of linear codes over the ring \(R =\mathbb {Z}_4+u\mathbb {Z}_4+v\mathbb {Z}_4+uv\mathbb {Z}_4\). By using the Chinese Remainder Theorem, we prove that R is isomorphic to a direct sum of four rings. We define a Gray map \(\Phi \) from \(R^{n}\) to \(\mathbb {Z}_4^{4n}\), which is a distance preserving map. The Gray image of a cyclic code over R is a linear code over \(\mathbb {Z}_4\). We also discuss some properties of MDS codes over R. Furthermore, we study the MacWilliams identities of linear codes over R and give the generator polynomials of cyclic codes over R.  相似文献

Consider a max-stable process of the form \(\eta (t) = \max _{i\in \mathbb {N}} U_{i} \mathrm {e}^{\langle X_{i}, t\rangle - \kappa (t)}\), \(t\in \mathbb {R}^{d}\), where \(\{U_{i}, i\in \mathbb {N}\}\) are points of the Poisson process with intensity u ?2du on (0,), X i , \(i\in \mathbb {N}\), are independent copies of a random d-variate vector X (that are independent of the Poisson process), and \(\kappa :\mathbb {R}^{d} \to \mathbb {R}\) is a function. We show that the process η is stationary if and only if X has multivariate normal distribution and κ(t)?κ(0) is the cumulant generating function of X. In this case, η is a max-stable process introduced by R. L. Smith.  相似文献

Let \(\mathcal {F}_{0}=\{f_{i}\}_{i\in \mathbb {I}_{n_{0}}}\) be a finite sequence of vectors in \(\mathbb {C}^{d}\) and let \(\mathbf {a}=(a_{i})_{i\in \mathbb {I}_{k}}\) be a finite sequence of positive numbers, where \(\mathbb {I}_{n}=\{1,\ldots , n\}\) for \(n\in \mathbb {N}\). We consider the completions of \(\mathcal {F}_{0}\) of the form \(\mathcal {F}=(\mathcal {F}_{0},\mathcal {G})\) obtained by appending a sequence \(\mathcal {G}=\{g_{i}\}_{i\in \mathbb {I}_{k}}\) of vectors in \(\mathbb {C}^{d}\) such that ∥g i 2 = a i for \(i\in \mathbb {I}_{k}\), and endow the set of completions with the metric \(d(\mathcal {F},\tilde {\mathcal {F}}) =\max \{ \,\|g_{i}-\tilde {g}_{i}\|: \ i\in \mathbb {I}_{k}\}\) where \(\tilde {\mathcal {F}}=(\mathcal {F}_{0},\,\tilde {\mathcal {G}})\). In this context we show that local minimizers on the set of completions of a convex potential P φ , induced by a strictly convex function φ, are also global minimizers. In case that φ(x) = x 2 then P φ is the so-called frame potential introduced by Benedetto and Fickus, and our work generalizes several well known results for this potential. We show that there is an intimate connection between frame completion problems with prescribed norms and frame operator distance (FOD) problems. We use this connection and our results to settle in the affirmative a generalized version of Strawn’s conjecture on the FOD.  相似文献

For the stationary storage process {Q(t), t ≥ 0}, with \( Q(t)=\sup _{s\ge t}\left (X(s)-X(t)-c(s-t)^{\beta }\right ),\) where {X(t), t ≥ 0} is a centered Gaussian process with stationary increments, c > 0 and β > 0 is chosen such that Q(t) is finite a.s., we derive exact asymptotics of \(\mathbb {P}\left (\sup _{t\in [0,T_{u}]} Q(t)>u \right )\) and \(\mathbb {P}\left (\inf _{t\in [0,T_{u}]} Q(t)>u \right )\), as \(u\rightarrow \infty \). As a by-product we find conditions under which strong Piterbarg property holds.  相似文献

Let \(\pi _{\varphi }\) (or \(\pi _{\psi }\)) be an automorphic cuspidal representation of \(\text {GL}_{2} (\mathbb {A}_{\mathbb {Q}})\) associated to a primitive Maass cusp form \(\varphi \) (or \(\psi \)), and \(\mathrm{sym}^j \pi _{\varphi }\) be the jth symmetric power lift of \(\pi _{\varphi }\). Let \(a_{\mathrm{sym}^j \pi _{\varphi }}(n)\) denote the nth Dirichlet series coefficient of the principal L-function associated to \(\mathrm{sym}^j \pi _{\varphi }\). In this paper, we study first moments of Dirichlet series coefficients of automorphic representations \(\mathrm{sym}^3 \pi _{\varphi }\) of \(\text {GL}_{4}(\mathbb {A}_{\mathbb {Q}})\), and \(\pi _{\psi }\otimes \mathrm{sym}^2 \pi _{\varphi }\) of \(\text {GL}_{6}(\mathbb {A}_{\mathbb {Q}})\). For \(3 \le j \le 8\), estimates for \(|a_{\mathrm{sym}^j \pi _{\varphi }}(n)|\) on average over a short interval have also been established.  相似文献

For any rational integer q, |q|?>?1, the linear independence over \( \mathbb{Q} \) of the numbers 1, ζ q (1), and ζ ?q (1) is proved; here \( {\zeta_q}(1) = \sum\limits_{n = 1}^\infty {\frac{1}{{{q^n} - 1}}} \) is the so-called q-harmonic series or the q-zeta-value at the point 1. Besides this, a measure of linear independence of these numbers is established.  相似文献

In this paper we investigate the existence of permutation polynomials of the form x d  + L(x) on \({{\mathbb{F}_{2^n}}}\) , where \({{L(x)\in\mathbb{F}_{2^n}[x]}}\) is a linearized polynomial. It is shown that for some special d with gcd(d, 2 n ?1) > 1, x d  + L(x) is nerve a permutation on \({{\mathbb{F}_{2^n}}}\) for any linearized polynomial \({{L(x)\in\mathbb{F}_{2^n}[x]}}\) . For the Gold functions \({{x^{2^i+1}}}\) , it is shown that \({{x^{2^i+1}+L(x)}}\) is a permutation on \({{\mathbb{F}_{2^n}}}\) if and only if n is odd and \({{L(x)=\alpha^{2^i}x+\alpha x^{2^i}}}\) for some \({{\alpha\in\mathbb{F}_{2^n}^{*}}}\) . We also disprove a conjecture in (Macchetti Addendum to on the generalized linear equivalence of functions over finite fields. Cryptology ePrint Archive, Report2004/347, 2004) in a very simple way. At last some interesting results concerning permutation polynomials of the form x ?1 + L(x) are given.  相似文献

Let \(B_{H}=\{B_{H}(t):t\in \mathbb R\}\) be a fractional Brownian motion with Hurst parameter H ∈ (0,1). For the stationary storage process \(Q_{B_{H}}(t)=\sup _{-\infty <s\le t}(B_{H}(t)-B_{H}(s)-(t-s))\), t ≥ 0, we provide a tractable criterion for assessing whether, for any positive, non-decreasing function f, \( {\mathbb P(Q_{B_{H}}(t) > f(t)\, \text { i.o.})}\) equals 0 or 1. Using this criterion we find that, for a family of functions f p (t), such that \(z_{p}(t)=\mathbb P(\sup _{s\in [0,f_{p}(t)]}Q_{B_{H}}(s)>f_{p}(t))/f_{p}(t)=\mathcal C(t\log ^{1-p} t)^{-1}\), for some \(\mathcal C>0\), \({\mathbb P(Q_{B_{H}}(t) > f_{p}(t)\, \text { i.o.})= 1_{\{p\ge 0\}}}\). Consequently, with \(\xi _{p} (t) = \sup \{s:0\le s\le t, Q_{B_{H}}(s)\ge f_{p}(s)\}\), for p ≥ 0, \(\lim _{t\to \infty }\xi _{p}(t)=\infty \) and \(\limsup _{t\to \infty }(\xi _{p}(t)-t)=0\) a.s. Complementary, we prove an Erdös–Révész type law of the iterated logarithm lower bound on ξ p (t), i.e., \(\liminf _{t\to \infty }(\xi _{p}(t)-t)/h_{p}(t) = -1\) a.s., p > 1; \(\liminf _{t\to \infty }\log (\xi _{p}(t)/t)/(h_{p}(t)/t) = -1\) a.s., p ∈ (0,1], where h p (t) = (1/z p (t))p loglog t.  相似文献

Permutation polynomials over finite fields have been studied extensively recently due to their wide applications in cryptography, coding theory, communication theory, among others. Recently, several authors have studied permutation trinomials of the form \(x^rh\left( x^{q-1}\right) \) over \({\mathbb F}_{q^2}\), where \(q=2^k\), \(h(x)=1+x^s+x^t\) and \(r, k>0, s, t\) are integers. Their methods are essentially usage of a multiplicative version of AGW Criterion because they all transformed the problem of proving permutation polynomials over \({\mathbb F}_{q^2}\) into that of showing the corresponding fractional polynomials permute a smaller set \(\mu _{q+1}\), where \(\mu _{q+1}:=\{x\in \mathbb {F}_{q^2} : x^{q+1}=1\}\). Motivated by these results, we characterize the permutation polynomials of the form \(x^rh\left( x^{q-1}\right) \) over \({\mathbb F}_{q^2}\) such that \(h(x)\in {\mathbb F}_q[x]\) is arbitrary and q is also an arbitrary prime power. Using AGW Criterion twice, one is multiplicative and the other is additive, we reduce the problem of proving permutation polynomials over \({\mathbb F}_{q^2}\) into that of showing permutations over a small subset S of a proper subfield \({\mathbb F}_{q}\), which is significantly different from previously known methods. In particular, we demonstrate our method by constructing many new explicit classes of permutation polynomials of the form \(x^rh\left( x^{q-1}\right) \) over \({\mathbb F}_{q^2}\). Moreover, we can explain most of the known permutation trinomials, which are in Ding et al. (SIAM J Discret Math 29:79–92, 2015), Gupta and Sharma (Finite Fields Appl 41:89–96, 2016), Li and Helleseth (Cryptogr Commun 9:693–705, 2017), Li et al. We consider a random process in a spatial-temporal homogeneous Gaussian field V (q , t) with the mean E V = 0 and the correlation function W(|q ? q′|, |t ? t′|) ≡ E[V (q, t)V (q′, t′)], where \( \bold{q} \in {\mathbb{R}^d} \), \( t \in {\mathbb{R}^{+} } \), and d is the dimension of the Euclidean space \( {\mathbb{R}^d} \). For a “density” G(r, t) of the familiar model of a physical system averaged over all realizations of the random field V, we establish an integral equation that has the form of the Dyson equation. The invariance of the equation under the continuous renormalization group allows using the renormalization group method to find an asymptotic expression for G(r, t) as r → ∞ and t → ∞.  相似文献

We investigate the convergence rates for Tikhonov regularization of the problem of simultaneously estimating the coefficients q and a in the Neumann problem for the elliptic equation \({{-{\rm div}(q \nabla u) + au = f \;{\rm in}\; \Omega, q{\partial u}/{\partial n} = g}}\) on the boundary \({{\partial\Omega, \Omega \subset \mathbb{R}^d, d \geq 1}}\) , when u is imprecisely given by \({{{z^\delta} \in {H^1}(\Omega), \|u-z^\delta\|_{H^1(\Omega)}\le\delta, \delta > 0}}\). We regularize this problem by minimizing the strictly convex functional of (q, a)
$\begin{array}{lll}\int\limits_{\Omega}\left(q| \nabla (U(q,a)-z^{\delta})|^2 + a(U(q,a)-z^{\delta})^2\right)dx\\\quad+\rho\left(\|q-q^*\|^2_{L^2(\Omega)} + \|a-a^*\|^2_{L^2(\Omega)}\right)\end{array}$
over the admissible set K, where ρ > 0 is the regularization parameter and (q*, a*) is an a priori estimate of the true pair (q, a) which is identified, and consider the unique solution of these minimization problem as the regularized one to that of the inverse problem. We obtain the convergence rate \({{{\mathcal {O}}(\sqrt{\delta})}}\), as δ → 0 and ρ ~ δ, for the regularized solutions under the simple and weak source condition
${\rm there\;is\;a\;function}\;w^* \in V^*\;{\rm such\;that}\;{U^\prime (q^ \dagger, a^\dagger)}^*w^* = (q^\dagger - q^*, a^\dagger - a^*)$
with \({{(q^\dagger, a^\dagger)}}\) being the (q*, a*)-minimum norm solution of the coefficient identification problem, U′(·, ·) the Fréchet derivative of U(·, ·), V the Sobolev space on which the boundary value problem is considered. Our source condition is without the smallness requirement on the source function which is popularized in the theory of regularization of nonlinear ill-posed problems. Furthermore, some concrete cases of our source condition are proved to be simply the requirement that the sought coefficients belong to certain smooth function spaces.

We study the functional calculus for operators of the form \(f_h(P(h))\) within the theory of semiclassical pseudodifferential operators, where \(\{f_h\}_{h\in (0,1]}\subset \mathrm{C^\infty _c}({{\mathbb {R}}})\) denotes a family of h-dependent functions satisfying some regularity conditions, and P(h) is either an appropriate self-adjoint semiclassical pseudodifferential operator in \(\mathrm{L}^2({{\mathbb {R}}}^n)\) or a Schrödinger operator in \(\mathrm{L}^2(M), M\) being a closed Riemannian manifold of dimension n. The main result is an explicit semiclassical trace formula with remainder estimate that is well-suited for studying the spectrum of P(h) in spectral windows of width of order \(h^\delta \), where \(0\le \delta <\frac{1}{2}\).  相似文献
