ON THE ERROR-SUM FUNCTION OF ALTERNATING LüROTH SERIES

The error-sum function of alternating Luroth series is introduced, which, to some extent, discerns the superior or not of an expansion comparing to other expansions. Some elementary properties of this function are studied. Also, the Hausdorff dimension of graph of such function is determined.

本文研究了L櫣roth展式的误差和函数.利用误差和函数的PerronFrobenius算子,得到其积分值.最后,考察并获得其介值性定理,从而得出其图形是一个分形.

This paper proves that: Let / be an entire function of finite order λon Cn. Then(1) , where k(X) is a nonnegative constant depending only on A;(2) If (a, f) = 1, then A is a positive integer and equals the lower order of /.     

ON THE GENERALIZATIONS OF KALANDIA＇S LEMMA

Based on Bernstein＇s Theorem, Kalandia＇s Lemma describes the error estimate and the smoothness of the remainder under the second part of Hoelder norm when a HSlder function is approximated by its best polynomial approximation. In this paper, Kalandia＇s Lemma is generalized to the cases that the best polynomial is replaced by one of its four kinds of Chebyshev polynomial expansions, the error estimates of the remainder are given out under Hoeder norm or the weighted HSlder norms.     

ON SATURATION CLASS FOR JACKSON SUMS OF BESSEL SERIES

Let function f(z) be analytic in |z|<1 and continuous on |z|≤1. The saturation class for the Jackson sums of the Bessel series of f(z) is discussed.     

VECTOR-VALUED RANDOM POWER SERIES ON THE UNIT BALL OF C^n

In this article, the authors study the vector-valued random power series on the unit ball of Cn and get vector-valued Salem-Zygmund theorem for them by using martingale technique. Further, the relationships between vector-valued random power series and several function spaces are also studied.     

APPROXIMATION PROPERTIES OF LAGRANGE INTERPOLATION POLYNOMIAL BASED ON THE ZEROS OF （1- x^2）cosnarccosx

We study some approximation properties of Lagrange interpolation polynomial based on the zeros of （1-x^2）cosnarccosx. By using a decomposition for f（x） ∈ C^τC^τ＋1 we obtain an estimate of ‖f（x） -Ln＋2（f, x）‖ which reflects the influence of the position of the x＇s and ω（f^（r＋1）,δ）j,j = 0, 1,... , s,on the error of approximation.     

MULTIVARIATE FOURIER SERIES OVER A CLASS OF NON TENSOR－PRODUCT PARTITION DOMAINS

This paper finds a way to extend the well-known Fourier methods,to so-called n 1 directions partition domains in n-dimension.In particular,in 2-D and 3-D cases,we study Fourier methods over 3-direction parallel hexagon partitions and 4-direction parallel paralleogram dodecahedron partitions,respectively.It has pointed that,the most concepts and results of Fourier methods on tensor-product case,such as periodicity,orthogonality of Fourier basis system,Partial sum of Fourier series and its approximation behavior,can be moved on the new non tensor-product partiton case.
