Using value distribution theory and techniques in several complex variables,we investigate the problem of existence of m components-admissible solutions of a class of systems of higher-order partial differential equations in several complex variables and estimate the number of admissible components of solutions.Some related results will also be obtained.  相似文献

Complex formalism of Riemann–Silberstein–Majorana–Oppenheimer in Maxwell electrodynamics is extended to the case of arbitrary pseudo-Riemannian space-time in accordance with the tetrad recipe of Tetrode–Weyl–Fock–Ivanenko. In this approach, the Maxwell equations are solved exactly on the background of static cosmological Einstein model, parameterized by special cylindrical coordinates and realized as a Riemann space of constant positive curvature. A discrete frequency spectrum for electromagnetic modes depending on the curvature radius of space and three parameters is found, and corresponding basis electromagnetic solutions have been constructed explicitly. In the case of elliptical model a part of the constructed solutions should be rejected by continuity considerations. Similar treatment is given for the Maxwell equations in hyperbolic Lobachevsky model, the complete basis of electromagnetic solutions in corresponding cylindrical coordinates has been constructed as well, no quantization of frequencies of electromagnetic modes arises.  相似文献

The purpose of this paper is to use semiclassical analysis to unify and generalize L p estimates on high energy eigenfunctions and spectral clusters. In our approach these estimates do not depend on ellipticity and order, and apply to operators which are selfadjoint only at the principal level.  Using elementary graded automorphisms of polytopal algebras (essentially the coordinate rings of projective toric varieties) polyhedral versions of the group of elementary matrices and the Steinberg and Milnor groups are defined. They coincide with the usual K-theoretic groups in the special case when the polytope is a unit simplex and can be thought of as compact/polytopal substitutes for the tame automorphism groups of polynomial algebras. Relative to the classical case, many new aspects have to be taken into account. We describe these groups explicitly when the underlying polytope is 2-dimensional. Already this low-dimensional case provides interesting classes of groups. The hyperoperations, called theta-operations (δ), are motivated from the usual property, which the derivative has on the derivation of a product of functions. Using any map on a set, one can define δ-operations. In this paper, we continue our study on the δ-operations on groupoids, rings, fields and vector spaces or on the corresponding hyperstructures. Using δ-operations one obtains, mainly, Hwstructures, which form the largest class of the hyperstructures. For representation theory of hyperstructures, by hypermatrices, one needs special Hv-rings or Hy-fields, so these hyperstructures can be used. Moreover, we study the relation of these δ-structures with other classes of hyperstructures, especially with the Hv-structures.  相似文献

This paper is devoted to the study of operational second-order differential equations of elliptic type with nonregular coefficient-operator boundary conditions. In the framework of UMD spaces, we give some new results by using semi-groups and interpolation theory. We define two types of solutions: semi-strict and strict solutions. We study solutions to partial differential equations with homogeneous polynomial symbols with respect to a multiplicative one-parameter transformation group such that all eigenvalues of the infinitesimal matrix are positive. The infinitesimal matrix may contain a nilpotent part. In the asymptotic scale of regularly varying functions, we find conditions under which such differential equations have asymptotically homogeneous solutions in the critical case.  相似文献

In this paper, we study the p-Laplacian-Like equations involving Hardy potential or involving critical exponent and prove the existence of one or infinitely many nontrivial solutions. The matrix equation AXB = E with the constraint PX=sXP is considered,where P is a given Hermitian matrix satisfying p~2=I and s=±1.By an eigenvalue decomposition of P,the constrained problem can be equivalently transformed to a well-known unconstrained problem of matrix equation whose coefficient matrices contain the corresponding eigenvector, and hence the constrained problem can be solved in terms of the eigenvectors of P.A simple and eigenvector-free formula of the general solutions to the constrained problem by generalized inverses of the coefficient matrices A and B is presented.Moreover,a similar problem of the matrix equation with generalized constraint is discussed.  相似文献

In this note we study the relation between k R -spaces and k-spaces and prove that a k R -space with a σ-hereditarily closure-preserving k-network consisting of compact subsets is a k-space, and that a k R -space with a point-countable k-network consisting of compact subsets need not be a k-space. In [9], we proved numerically that spaces generated by linear combinations of some two-dimensional Haar functions exhibit unexpectedly nice orders of approximation for solutions of the single-layer potential equation in a rectangle. This phenomenon is closely related, on the one hand, to the properties of the approximation method of hyperbolic crosses and on the other to the existence of a strong singularity for solutions of such boundary integral equations. In the present paper, we establish several results on the approximation for the hyperbolic crosses and on the best N-term approximations by linear combinations of Haar functions in the H s -norms, −1 < s < 1/2; this provides a theoretical base for our numerical research. We continue our investigation on how small a sumset can be in a given abelian group. Here small takes into account not only the size of the sumset itself but also the number of elements which are repeated at least twice. A function λ G (r, s) computing the minimal size (in this sense) of the sum of two sets with respective cardinalities r and s is introduced. (Lower and upper) bounds are obtained, which coincide in most cases. While upper bounds are obtained by constructions, lower bounds follow in particular from the use of a recent theorem by Grynkiewicz.  相似文献

We show a relation between systems of integrable tops on the algebras sl(N, ) and Calogero-Moser systems of N particles. We construct classical Lax operators corresponding to these systems. We consider the M/M/∞ queueing system with arrival and service rate depending on the state of an auxiliary semi-Markov process (which can be viewed as an external environment) and find the mean number of customers in the system in steady state. We investigate the growth of the Nevanlinna characteristic of f(z+η) for a fixed ηC in this paper. In particular, we obtain a precise asymptotic relation between T(r,f(z+η)) and T(r,f), which is only true for finite order meromorphic functions. We have also obtained the proximity function and pointwise estimates of f(z+η)/f(z) which is a discrete version of the classical logarithmic derivative estimates of f(z). We apply these results to give new growth estimates of meromorphic solutions to higher order linear difference equations. This also allows us to solve an old problem of Whittaker (Interpolatory Function Theory, Cambridge University Press, Cambridge, 1935) concerning a first order difference equation. We show by giving a number of examples that all of our results are best possible in certain senses. Finally, we give a direct proof of a result in Ablowitz, Halburd and Herbst (Nonlinearity 13:889–905, 2000) concerning integrable difference equations. The purpose of this paper is to generalize the notion of intersection bodies to that of quasi Lp-intersection bodies. The Lp-analogs of the Busemann intersection inequality and the Brunn- Minkowski inequality for the quasi Lp-intersection bodies are obtained. The Aleksandrov Fenchel inequality for the mixed quasi Lp-intersection bodies is also established.  相似文献
