 以国产掺镱光纤为增益介质,利用国产泵浦源和光纤器件,构建了主振荡功率放大(MOPA)结构的全国产大功率全光纤激光器。激光器包括10 W种子激光器和高功率放大器两部分。在注入最大泵浦功率为356 W时,获得了245 W波长1 080 nm激光的稳定输出,光-光效率为69%。激光器单次连续出光时间约30 min,功率稳定性在1%以内。目前激光器输出功率受限于泵浦功率,增加泵浦源的数目有望进一步提高输出功率。  相似文献

We report experimental results on a 96.2 W all-fiberized nanosecond single-frequency masteroscillator power amplifier (MOPA) laser working at 1064 nm. An external modulation fiber laser with average power of 0.5 mW and line width of 20 kHz is used as the seed source. Amplifying the seed laser in four stages, a single-frequency laser with pulse duration of 10 ns and peak power of 816.7 W is obtained. The average output power is up to 96.2 W. Further power-scaling of this MOPA structure can be realized since our experiment is only pump-power limited.  相似文献

基于主振荡功率放大结构设计了kW级全光纤激光器,对激光器的功率分布及输出、弯曲选模以及冷却条件下增益光纤的热分布进行了数值模拟分析。搭建了所设计的全光纤激光器,在注入总泵浦功率1436W时,实验获得了1060W高功率连续激光输出,光光转换效率73.8%,光束质量因子小于1.6。初步分析了导致激光器实验输出与理论设计二者偏差的原因。  相似文献

The diode laser (LD) clad-pumped 1947.6 nm continuous wave (CW) Tm3+-doped fiber amplifier is reported using the master oscillation power amplifier (MOPA) method. The injected seed laser is provided by an all-fiber LD-clad-pumped Tm3+-doped single-mode fiber laser, which has a nearly 2.4 W maximal output power and 0.1 nm ultra-narrow linewidth based on the intracore reflection FBG. Using the 25/400 μm double-clad LMA Tm3+-doped fiber as the gain fiber, the output maximal output power is 30.6 W from the fiber amplifier, with a slope efficiency of 39.1% respected to the LD total output power. A high power multi-mode fiber combiner is used to couple high power LD light into the gain fiber. The output wavelength is also located at 1947.6 nm, with the slightly expanded laser linewidth of 0.2 nm.  相似文献

A high-power all-fiber single-frequency polarization-maintained(PM)laser operating at 1 083 nm is demonstrated using a master oscillator power amplifier(MOPA)structure.The seed source of this MOPA laser system is an in-house-built ring-cavity fiber oscillator.Four-stage amplification configuration is employed, in which the maximal output power of the main amplifier is 90.4 W,corresponding to a conversion efficiency of 72.5%.The polarization extinction ratio of the output light is 13 dB.The amplified spontaneous emission is suppressed by a factor of over 25 dB,and no stimulated Brillouin scattering effect is observed when a large-mode-area and high absorption coefficient PM gain fiber is employed.  相似文献

We demonstrate a high power all fiber single-frequency MOPA laser. The center wavelength of the single-frequency fiber laser seed is 1064 nm with a linewidth narrower than 20 kHz. A two-stage power amplification configuration is employed. A single-frequency fiber laser with an output power of 29.2 W is obtained, and the optical to optical efficiency is 78%.  相似文献

We demonstrate an all-fiberized laser in main oscillator power amplification (MOPA) configuration with 22 W output power and a central wavelength of 1950 nm. The laser is pumped by pigtailed laser diode with a central wavelength of 793 nm. Strictly single-mode can be obtained and the optical to optical efficiency of the fiber laser is 40% with respect to the pump power. No power-roll is observed and the power can be scaled straightforwardly by using more pump sources.  相似文献

 搭建了一台全光纤结构的窄线宽高功率掺镱光纤激光器。种子激光的输出功率大于40 mW,线宽窄于100 MHz。采用主振荡功率放大结构三级放大,主放泵浦功率为405 W时得到了334 W的窄线宽高功率激光输出,光光转换效率为82.4%。目前,激光器输出功率仅受限于泵浦功率,增加有效泵浦功率即有望进一步提高输出功率。  相似文献

报道了2μm波段的全光纤保偏锁模掺铥光纤激光器,通过在法布里-珀罗(F-P)腔内加入半导体可饱和吸收镜做为被动锁模器件,采用主振-放大构型,获得了最高输出平均功率为1.08W,重复频率为10.24MHz,脉冲宽度为15.24ps,中心波长为2054.68nm,光谱宽度约为0.3nm的2μm线偏振激光脉冲输出,激光脉冲的消光比为24.17dB。  相似文献

研制了一台全光纤结构主振荡功率放大型掺镱单频光纤激光器。该光纤激光器包括种子激光器和级联放大器两部分。种子激光器是自行搭建的环形腔结构的单频窄线宽光纤激光器。在976 nm半导体激光器泵浦下,能够输出线宽为10 MHz量级、波长为1 079.88 nm的单频光,激光功率为10.02 W,光-光转化效率为58.9%,斜率效率为65.3%。  相似文献

In this paper, we report that a diode-pumped thulium-doped double clad silica fiber laser can provide powers of up to 227 W at 1908 nm, corresponding to a slope efficiency of 54.3%, and an optical-to-optical efficiency of 51.2%. The output power, to the best of our knowledge, is the highest output at 1908 nm. The beam quality M2 factor is about 1.56. Also discussed in this paper is the dependence of the laser performance on fiber length.  相似文献

We demonstrate a kilowatt level Quasi-continuous-wave (QCW) diode-side-pumped Nd:YAG ceramic laser at 1064 nm. The laser system adopts a master oscillator power amplifier scheme (MOPA). The master oscillator contains two diode-pumped laser modules. Under the pump power of 2000 W, an output power of 686 W was obtained. After amplified by an identical ceramic laser module, a maximum output power of 1020 W was obtained under a total incident pump power of 3433 W, corresponding to an optical-optical conversion efficiency of 29.7%. At the maximal output power, the repetition frequency was measured to be 1 kHz and the pulse width was 114 μs. To the best of our knowledge, this is the first time to realize QCW side-pumped Nd:YAG ceramic laser system with output power above 1 kW.  相似文献

The results of the recent major efforts in power scaling of resonantly cladding-pumped Yb-free Er fiber lasers are presented. Commercially available Yb-free Er-doped large mode area Er60-20/125 (LMA) DC fibers were tested in two regimes: (i), as a booster amplifier in a single-frequency (SF) MOPA configuration and, (ii), in a Bragg grating (FBG) based narrowband fiber laser configuration. We obtained ~28.5 W of output power at 1590 nm, the highest power reported so far out of Yb-free Er-doped LMA fiber with resonant cladding pumping. The achieved optical-to-optical conversion slope efficiency of ~56.6% is also believed to be the highest efficiency ever reported from Yb-free Er-doped fiber laser with resonant cladding pumping.  相似文献

主振荡功率放大(main oscillation power amplification, MOPA)结构由于其光束质量良好和参数可调的优点,已成为高功率光纤激光器的主流设计之一。为了改善高功率掺镱光纤激光器(ytterbium-doped fiber laser, YDFL)的输出性能,提高系统的光-光转换效率,文中报道了一台基于915 nm泵浦激光器和双包层掺镱光纤(ytterbium-doped fiber, YDF)的MOPA结构全光纤高功率激光器。该高功率光纤激光器由电调制激光二极管(laser diode, LD)泵浦的种子激光器和掺镱光纤放大器(ytterbium-doped fiber amplifier, YDFA)组成。连续光(continuous wave, CW)工作模式下,激光种子源经过YDFA后,实现了中心波长为1 069.96 nm的激光输出,最大平均输出功率可达945.9 W,MOPA激光器整机的斜率效率高达74.12%,具有良好的稳健性。该研究方案对研制高功率MOPA光纤激光器具有参考意义。  相似文献

为实现高效率、高功率中波红外激光输出,研制基于MgO:PPLN晶体的中波红外光参量振荡器(OPO),泵浦源为基于主振荡功率放大(MOPA)结构的线偏振掺Yb光纤激光器(YDFL)。实验结果表明:YDFL可实现最高79.1 W的1064.1 nm脉冲线偏振激光输出;在YDFL泵浦下,通过优化输出镜曲率半径和泵浦光束腰直径,该OPO实现最高9.15 W的3.754 μm脉冲激光输出,光光转换效率为11.57%,重复频率为300 kHz,脉冲宽度约为110 ns。  相似文献

A 50.2W high pulse energy green laser system at 532 nm was demonstrated by extra-cavity second-harmonic generation (SHG). The fundamental laser was based on laser diode (LD) side-pumped MOPA Q-switched technology, producing 79W of average power at the repetition rate of 500 Hz, while the pulse width was 6 ns. Type-II angle phasematched KTiOPO4 (KTP) crystal was used as the nonlinear crystal. The 50.2W average power of 532 nm laser was obtained with the divergence angle less than 0.6 mrad and the corresponding peak power of 16.7MW. The optical frequency conversion efficiency from fundamental to green laser was up to 63.5%. The measured output power fluctuation was less than 0.38% in one hour operation.  相似文献

We report on the development of a fiber-based laser transmitter designed for active remote sensing spectroscopy. The transmitter uses a master oscillator power amplifier (MOPA) configuration with a distributed feedback diode-laser master oscillator and an erbium-doped fiber amplifier. The output from the MOPA is frequency-doubled with a periodically poled potassium titanium oxide phosphate crystal. With 35 W of single-frequency peak optical pump power, 8 W of frequency-doubled peak power was achieved. The utility of this single-frequency, wavelength tunable, power scalable laser was then demonstrated in a spectroscopic measurement of diatomic oxygen A band.  相似文献

We present results on a monolithic semiconductor-based master-oscillator power amplifier (MOPA) combining a distributed-feedback (DFB) laser and a tapered amplifier on a single chip. The MOPA reaches an output power of almost 12 W at an emission wavelength around 1064 nm in continuous-wave operation. Pulses with a length of around 100 ps can be obtained either by injecting nanosecond current pulses into the tapered amplifier alone or into both the DFB laser and the tapered amplifier. In the latter case, pulses with a width of 84 ps, a peak power of 42 W, and a spectral width of 160 pm are generated.  相似文献

An erbium-doped fiber laser (EDFL) constructed in a master oscillator and power amplifier (MOPA) configuration is analyzed. The pump powers for the fiber cavity laser and the booster amplifier stages are managed properly to achieve maximal pump conversion efficiency. Our design achieves a pump conversion efficiency of 91.4%, corresponding to a quantum efficiency of 96.6%, for a 1565.8 nm MOPA laser pumped by a total power of 300 mW at 1480 nm. The optimized MOPA laser shows a 25% enhancement in the pump conversion efficiency, compared to a non-MOPA fiber laser. A side lobe suppression ratio of 48 dB for the optimized MOPA laser is observed.  相似文献
