The flow characteristics of high-temperature flue gas are important in the heat transfer of coal-water slurry(CWS) combustion furnaces. The flow field of a 250 kg/h vertical-type slag tap cyclone furnace was non-intrusively investigated, using two-dimensional particle-image velocimetry(2D PIV).The method was verified using traceable fly ash particles in high-temperature flue gas.The flow field of the flue gas was analyzed with a time-averaged method, based on which the effects of excess air ratio and loading were investigated. The flue gas separated by a gas separator maintained good rigidity near the furnace wall, rather than eroding the heating surface.Numerical simulations validated the reliability of PIV under the actual circumstances within the furnace. This study provides guidelines for applying 2D PIV in analyzing flue gas in thermal test boilers.  相似文献

The objective of this part of the paper is to summarize the information concerning the authors' works in the field of simulation of two-phase gas-particle turbulent flows with heat transfer and combustion. A kinetic equation had been derived for the probability density function (PDF) of the particle velocity, temperature, and mass distributions in turbulent flows. This PDF equation is used for the construction of the governing conservation equations of mass, momentum, and heat transfer in the dispersed particle phase. The numerical scheme incorporates two-phase fluid dynamics, convective and radiative heat transfer, and combustion. The proposed models have been applied to the calculation of various particle-laden turbulent flows in jets, combustion and gasification chambers, and furnaces.  相似文献

The flow boiling heat transfer characteristics of R134a in the multiport minichannel heat exchangers are presented. The heat exchanger was designed as the counter flow tube-in-tube heat exchanger with refrigerant flowing in the inner tube and hot water in the gap between the outer and inner tubes. Two inner tubes were made from extruded multiport aluminium with the internal hydraulic diameter of 1.1 mm for 14 numbers of channels and 1.2 mm for eight numbers of channels. The outer surface areas of two inner test sections are 5979 mm2 and 6171 m2, while the inner surface areas are 13,545 mm2 and 8856 mm2 for 14 and eight numbers of channels, respectively. The outer tube of heat exchanger was made from circular acrylic tube with an internal hydraulic diameter of 25.4 mm. The experiments were performed at the heat fluxes between 15 and 65 kW/m2, mass flux of refrigerant between 300 and 800 kg/m2 s and saturation pressure ranging from 4 to 6 bar. For instance the boiling curve, average heat transfer coefficients are discussed. The comparison results of two test sections with different the number of channels are investigated. The results are also compared with nine existing correlations. The new correlation for predicting the heat transfer coefficient was also proposed.  相似文献

Flow boiling heat transfer in a single circular micro-channel of 0.19 mm ID has been experimentally investigated with R123 and R134a for various experimental conditions: heat fluxes (10, 15, 20 kW/m2), mass velocities (314, 392, 470 kg/m2 s), vapor qualities (0.2–0.85) and different saturation pressures (158, 208 kPa for R123; 900, 1100 kPa for R134a). The heat transfer trends between R123 and R134a are clearly distinguished. Whether nucleate boiling is suppressed at low vapor quality or not determines the heat transfer trend and mechanism in the flow boiling of micro-channels. High convective heat transfer coefficients in the two-phase flow of micro-channels enables nucleate boiling to be suppressed even at low vapor quality, depending on the wall superheat requirement for nucleate boiling. In the case of early suppression of nucleate boiling, specifically R123, heat transfer is dominated by evaporation of thin liquid films around elongated bubbles. In the contrary case, namely R134a, nucleate boiling is dominant heat transfer mechanism until its suppression at high vapor quality and then two-phase forced convection heat transfer becomes dominant. It is similar to the heat transfer characteristic of macro-channels except the enhancement of nucleate boiling and the short forced convection region.  相似文献

This paper presents the results of an experimental study carried out with R-134a during flow boiling in a horizontal tube of 2.6 mm ID. The experimental tests included (i) heat fluxes in the range from 10 to 100 kW/m2, (ii) the refrigerant mass velocities set to the discrete values in the range of 240-930 kg/(m2 s) and (iii) saturation temperature of 12 and 22 °C. The study analyzed the heat transfer, through the local heat transfer coefficient along of flow, and pressure drop, under the variation of these different parameters. It was possible to observe the significant influence of heat flux in the heat transfer coefficient and mass velocity in the pressure drop, besides the effects of saturation temperature. In the low quality region, it was possible to observe a significant influence of heat flux on the heat transfer coefficient. In the high vapor quality region, for high mass velocities, this influence tended to vanish, and the coefficient decreased. The influence of mass velocity in the heat transfer coefficient was detected in most tests for a threshold value of vapor quality, which was higher as the heat flux increased. For higher heat flux the heat transfer coefficient was nearly independent of mass velocity. The frictional pressure drop increased with the increase in vapor quality and mass velocity. Predictive models for heat transfer coefficient in mini channels were evaluated and the calculated coefficient agreed well with measured data within a range 35% for saturation temperature of 22 °C. These results extend the ranges of heat fluxes and mass velocities beyond values available in literature, and add a substantial contribution to the comprehension of boiling heat transfer phenomena inside mini channels.  相似文献

Heat and mass transfer of a porous permeable wall in a high temperature gas dynamical flow is considered. Numerical simulation is conducted on the ground of the conjugate mathematical model which includes filtration and heat transfer equations in a porous body and boundary layer equations on its surface. Such an approach enables one to take into account complex interaction between heat and mass transfer in the gasdynamical flow and in the structure subjected to this flow. The main attention is given to the impact of the intraporous heat transfer intensity on the transpiration cooling efficiency. A heated horizontal heat transfer tube was installed 14.8 cm above the distributor plate in a square fluid bed measuring 30.5 × 30.5 cm. Four different Geldart B sized particle beds were used (sand of two different distributions, an abrasive and glass beads) and the bed was fluidized with cold air. The tube was instrumented with surface thermocouples around half of the tube circumference and with differential pressure ports that can be used to infer bubble presence. Numerical execution of the transient conduction equation for the tube allowed the local time-varying heat transfer coefficient to be extracted. Data confirm the presence of the stagnant zone on top of the tube associated with low superficial velocities. Auto-correlation of thermocouple data revealed bubble frequencies and the cross-correlation of thermal and pressure events confirmed the relationship between the bubbles and the heat transfer events. In keeping with the notion of a “Packet renewal” heat transfer model, the average heat transfer coefficient was found to vary in sympathy with the root-mean square amplitude of the transient heat transfer coefficient.  相似文献

The heat transfer from a rotating cylinder in an air-cross flow was investigated by purely optical measuring techniques. Flow velocities were measured by a two-dimensional LDV both in the vicinity of the cylinder and in the boundary layer. A new optical device based on light-deflection in a temperature field was developed to examine local temperature gradients in the boundary layer of the rotating cylinder. Finally, a Michelson-interferometer was installed to produce real-time pictures of isothermal lines around the heated cylinder. The impact of rotation on flow patterns, boundary layer behaviour and heat transfer could be clearly identified. It appears that the velocity-ratio acts like an independent parameter, in that flow patterns correspond to this dimensionless number. Furthermore, it seems that rotation dominates over cross flow, both fluid-dynamically and thermally above = 2.This work was carried out at the University of the Federal Armed Forces in Munich/Germany.  相似文献

The problem of gas recovery in the process of methane hydrate dissociation in a reservoir saturated with gas-hydrate mixture is considered. The mathematical model of hydrate decomposition into gas and water is generalized to include the negative temperature interval and takes ice formation into account. The solution of the problem is represented in the self-similar approximation. It is shown that there exists a transition hydrate decomposition regime in which water and ice are formed simultaneously. A comparative analysis of the recovery is carried out on the basis of relations derived for the masses of recovered gas in different hydrate dissociation regimes. It is shown that an anomalous increase in the recovered gas volumes is observed in the transition hydrate dissociation regime.__________Translated from Izvestiya Rossiiskoi Academii Nauk, Mekhanika Zhidkosti i Gaza, No. 1, 2005, pp. 132–142. An analysis is performed for flow and heat transfer of a steady laminar boundary layer flow of an electrically conducting fluid of second grade in a porous medium subject to a transverse uniform magnetic field past a semi-infinite stretching sheet with power-law surface temperature or power-law surface heat flux. The effects of viscous dissipation, internal heat generation of absorption and work done due to deformation are considered in the energy equation. The variations of surface temperature gradient for the prescribed surface temperature case (PST) and surface temperature for the prescribed heat flux case (PHF) with various parameters are tabulated. The asymptotic expansions of the solutions for large Prandtl number are also given for the two heating conditions. It is shown that, when the Eckert number is large enough, the heat flow may transfer from the fluid to the wall rather than from the wall to the fluid when Eckert number is small. A physical explanation is given for this phenomenon.  相似文献

In the context of the first- and second-order theories of consistent-order extended thermodynamics, a systematic approach is established for analyzing the temperature jump at the boundary through studying one-dimensional stationary heat conduction in a rarefied gas at rest. Thereby an approach to the free boundary-value problem in general is explored. Boundary values of temperature are assumed to be in the form of power expansion with respect to the Knudsen number, based on which analytical expressions of the temperature jump aswell as entropy production at the boundary are derived explicitly. Dependencies of these two boundary quantities on both the Knudsen number and accommodation factor are also extensively discussed. The present analysis is expected to be the basis for the study of higher-order theories of consistent-order extended thermodynamics.   相似文献
