The reaction of CuI and 3,6-bis(diphenylphosphino)pyridazine (dppz) in MeCN leads to the wheel-shaped complex [Cu8I8(dppz)6], assembled from four [Cu2I2] units and six dppz ligands. This complex exhibits thermochromic luminescence with emission colors ranging from red (300 K) to deep red (77 K). When carried out in the presence of PPh3, the reaction of CuI with dppz gives a non-emissive cage-like complex [Cu2I2(dppz)3], in which two CuI units are P,P′-bridged by three dppz ligands.  相似文献

Cu(CF3COO)2 reacts with tert‐butylacetylene (tBuC≡CH) in methanol in the presence of metallic copper powder to give two air‐stable clusters, [CuI15(tBuC≡C)10(CF3COO)5]?tBuC≡CH ( 1 ) and [CuI16(tBuC≡C)12(CF3COO)4(CH3OH)2] ( 2 ). The assembly process involves in situ comproportionation reaction between Cu2+ and Cu0 and the formation of two different clusters is controlled by reactants concentration. The clusters consist of Cu15 and Cu16 cores co‐stabilized by strong by σ‐ and π‐bonded tert‐butylethynide and CF3COO? (together with methanol molecule in 2 ). Their stabilities in solution were confirmed using electrospray ionization mass spectrometry in which the cluster core remains intact for 1 in chloroform and acetone, and for 2 in acetonitrile. Strong thermochromic luminescence in the near infrared (NIR) region was observed in the solid‐state. Of particular interest, the emission maximum of 1 is red‐shifted from 710 nm at 298 K to 793 nm at 93 K, along with a 17‐fold fluorescence enhancement. In contrast, 2 exhibits red shift from 298 to 123 K followed by blue shift from 123 to 93 K. The emission wavelength was correlated with the structural parameters using variable‐temperature X‐ray single‐crystal analyses. The rich cuprophilic interaction plays a significant role in the formation of 3LMCT (tBuC≡C→Cux) excited state mixed with cluster‐centered (3CC) characters, which can be considerably influenced by temperature, leading to thermochromic luminescence. The present work provides 1) a new synthetic protocol for the high‐nuclear CuI–alkynyl clusters; 2) a comprehensive insight into the mechanism of thermochromic luminescence; 3) unusual emissive materials with the characters of NIR and thermochromic luminescence simultaneously.  相似文献

The reaction of C10H7-1-N(PPh2)2 ( 1 ) with two equivalents of CuI in acetonitrile resulted in the formation of octahedron Cu4I4[ 1 ]2 complex ( 2 ). The crystal structure of 2 showed it adopted a rare octahedral arrangement. The rectangular Cu4 plane is μ4-capped by two of the iodides and is placed in axial positions above and below the Cu4-plane form an octahedron, whereas the other two iodides are bonded to two copper atoms in a μ2-fashion. The luminescence of complex 2 arises from a triplet halide-to-ligand charge transfer (3XLCT) excited state and 3CC (Cu4I4 cluster-centered) excited state are not involved in the luminescence by the rigid bidentate ligand 1 in spite of the short CuI–CuI bond length. Complex 2 was identified and characterized by multinuclear NMR (1H, 13C, 31P NMR) and IR spectroscopy. Crystal structure determinations of 1 and 2 were carried out.  相似文献

A new avenue for making porous frameworks has been developed by borrowing an idea from molecularly imprinted polymers (MIPs). In lieu of the small molecules commonly used as templates in MIPs, soft metal components, such as CuI, are used to orient the molecular linker and to leverage the formation of the network. Specifically, a linear dicarboxylate linker with thioether side groups reacted simultaneously with Ln3+ ions and CuI, leading to a bimetallic net featuring strong, chemically hard Eu3+–carboxylate links, as well as soft, thioether‐bound Cu2I2 clusters. The CuI block imparts water stability to the host; with the tunable luminescence from the lanthanide ions, this creates the first white‐emitting MOF that is stable in boiling water. The Cu2I2 block also readily reacts with H2S, and enables sensitive colorimetric detection while the host net remains intact.  相似文献

Molecular iodine is oxidised by phosphorus pentafluoride in iodine pentafluoride at room temperature giving I2+, PF6?, and PF3. I2+ is formed from uranium hexafluoride under similar conditions, but further oxidation occurs depending on the reaction stoicheiometry used. In all cases uranium pentafluoride is formed. Copper(II) fluoride reacts with UF5 in acetonitrile at room temperature to give copper(II) hexafluorouranate(V), which is reduced by copper metal to give the copper(I) salt. The latter compound is formed from UF6 and Cu metal, via the CuII salt, only if a fresh Cu surface is used for the reduction step.  相似文献

Copper(II)–Schiff base complexes have attracted extensive interest due to their structural, electronic, magnetic and luminescence properties. The title novel monomeric CuII complex, [Cu(C10H11N2O4)2], has been synthesized by the reaction of 3‐{[(3‐hydroxypropyl)imino]methyl}‐4‐nitrophenol (H2L ) and copper(II) acetate monohydrate in methanol, and was characterized by elemental analysis, UV and IR spectroscopies, single‐crystal X‐ray diffraction analysis and a photoluminescence study. The CuII atom is located on a centre of inversion and is coordinated by two imine N atoms, two phenoxy O atoms in a mutual trans disposition and two hydroxy O atoms in axial positions, forming an elongated octahedral geometry. In the crystal, intermolecular O—H…O hydrogen bonds link the molecules to form a one‐dimensional chain structure and π–π contacts also connect the molecules to form a three‐dimensional structure. The solid‐state photoluminescence properties of the complex and free H2L have been investigated at room temperature in the visible region. When the complex and H2L are excited under UV light at 349 nm, the complex displays a strong green emission at 520 nm and H2L displays a blue emission at 480 nm.  相似文献

Solvothermal reactions of Cu2(OH)2CO3 with 1,3‐bis(pyridin‐4‐yl)propane (bpp) in the presence of aqueous ammonia in 4‐iodotoluene/CH3CN or 1,4‐diiodobenzene/CH3CN afforded two [Cu2I2]‐based coordination polymers, namely catena‐poly[[[di‐μ‐iodido‐dicopper(I)]‐bis[μ‐1,3‐bis(pyridin‐4‐yl)propane‐κ2N:N′]] p‐toluidine tetrasolvate], {[Cu2I2(C13H14N2)2]·4C7H9N}n, (I), and the analogous 1,4‐diiodobenzene monosolvate, {[Cu2I2(C13H14N2)2]·C6H4I2}n, (II). The [Cu2I2] unit of (I) lies on a centre of symmetry at the mid‐point of the two I atoms, while that of (II) has a twofold axis running through the I...I line. In (I) and (II), each Cu centre is tetrahedrally coordinated by two μ‐I and two N atoms from two different bpp ligands. Each rhomboid [Cu2I2] unit can be considered as a four‐connecting node linked to the symmetry‐related [Cu2I2] units via two pairs of bpp ligands to form a one‐dimensional double chain along the c axis. The dimensions of the [Cu2I2(bpp)2]2 rings in (I) and (II) are different, which may be due to the presence of different guest solvent molecules in the structures. In (I), one p‐toluidine molecule, derived from an Ullmann coupling reaction of 4‐iodotoluene with ammonia, interacts with the [Cu2I2] cluster fragment through N—H...I hydrogen bonds, while the two p‐toluidine molecules interact via N—H...N hydrogen bonds. In (II), two I atoms of each 1,4‐diiodobenzene molecule are linked to the I atoms of the [Cu2I2] fragments from a neighbouring chain via I...I secondary interactions.  相似文献

A new copper(I) iodide coordination polymer, [(CuI)3(dtb)] n (1) (dtb = 1,3-di-(1,2,4-triazole-4-yl)benzene) has been synthesized solvothermally and structurally characterized by single crystal and powder X-ray diffractions, elemental analysis, IR, and thermogravimetric analysis. Overall, 1 exhibits a 2D hybrid structure containing dtb as structure-directing agents (SDAs) and 1D Cu3I3 chain as inorganic moiety. The copper-iodide chain can be regarded as two Cu2I2 rhomboids are connected by CuI fragments via Cu–I bonds. Dtb act as bridging ligands regularly link the Cu3I3 chains along both sides through Cu–N bonds to give the final 2D network. Moreover, solid state luminescent property of 1 has been investigated at room temperature.  相似文献

The title compound, [CuI(C17H21N5)]·CH2Cl2, contains a tetracoordinate CuI centre with an unusual distorted tetrahedral stereochemistry, which has also been observed in other CuI complexes containing this tridentate ligand. This distortion is probably a result of intermolecular steric contacts between the I? ligand and a neighbouring CH2Cl2 molecule.  相似文献

The new copper coordination polymers 2[CuX(μ‐2‐chlor‐opyrazine‐N, N')] (X = Cl ( I ), Br ( II ), 1[CuI(2‐chloropyrazine‐N)] ( III ) and [Cu2I2(2‐chloropyrazine)] ( IV ) has been prepared by the reaction of the copper(I) halides with 2‐chloropyrazine at roomtemperature or under hydrothermal conditions. The crystal structures of the 1:1 compounds I and II consist of zig‐zag CuX single chains running parallel to the crystallographic a‐axis which are linked by the 2‐chloropyrazine spacer molecules to sheets parallel to (010). For the iodine compound III a one‐dimensional structure is found which consists of CuX double chains running parallel to the crystallographic a‐axis. The thermic properties of all compounds were investigated in different gas atmospheres using simultaneously differential thermal analysis and thermogravimetry (DTA‐TG) as well as temperature resolved X‐ray powder diffraction. On heating, the 1:1 compounds I and II decompose directly to the corresponding copper(I) Halides, whereas the thermal decomposition of III occcur via IV as an intermediate.  相似文献

XV Iodocuprate(I) with Solvated Cations: [Li(CH3CN)4] [Cu2I3] and [Mg{(CH3)2CO}6][Cu2I4] [Li(CH3CN)4][Cu2I3] 1 and [Mg((CH3)2CO)6][Cu2I4] 2 were prepared by reactions of CuI with LiI in acetonitrile and of CuI with MgI2 in acetone. 1 crystallizes orthorhombic, Pnma, a = 552.7(2), b = 1258.8(8), c = 2516(1) pm, z = 4. [Li(CH3CN)4]+ cations are located between rod packings of CuI4 tetrahedra double chains [(CuI2/2I2/4)2]? parallel to the axis. Short intermolecular anion/cation contacts were observed. The crystal structure of 2 (monoclinic, P21/n, a = 1840(2), b = 1059.2(2), c = 1879(2)pm, β = 112.94(4)°, z = 4) is built up by [Mg((CH3)2CO)6]2+ cations forming a simple hexagonal sphere packing. The binuclear anions [Cu2I4]2? occupy holes in the trigonal prismatic channels formed by the cations.  相似文献

Solvothermal reactions between copper(I) halides and 4‐mercaptophenol give rise to the formation of three coordination polymers with general formula [Cu3X(HT)2]n (X=Cl, 1 ; Br, 2 ; and I, 3 ). The structures of these coordination polymers have been determined by X‐ray diffraction at both room‐ and low temperature (110 K), showing a general shortening in Cu?S, Cu?X and Cu?Cu bond lengths at low temperatures. 1 and 2 are isostructural, consisting of layers in which the halogen ligands act as μ3‐bridges joining two Cu1 and one Cu2 atoms whereas in 3 the iodine ligands is as μ4‐mode but the layers are quasi‐isostructural with 1 or 2 . These compounds show a reversible thermochromic luminescence, with strong orange emission for 1 and 2 , but weaker for 3 at room temperature, whereas upon cooling at 77 K 1 and 2 show stronger yellow emission, and 3 displays stronger green emission. DFT calculations have been used to rationalize these observations. These results suggest a high potential for this novel and promising stimuli‐responsive materials.  相似文献

In the polymeric title compound, [CuI(C10H8N4)]n, the CuI atom is in a four‐coordinated tetrahedral geometry, formed by two I atoms and two pyridine N atoms from two different 4,4′‐(diazenediyl)dipyridine (4,4′‐azpy) ligands. Two μ2‐I atoms link two CuI atoms to form a planar rhomboid [Cu2I2] cluster located on an inversion centre, where the distance between two CuI atoms is 2.7781 (15) Å and the Cu—I bond lengths are 2.6290 (13) and 2.7495 (15) Å. The bridging 4,4′‐azpy ligands connect the [Cu2I2] clusters into a two‐dimensional (2‐D) double‐layered grid‐like network [parallel to the (10) plane], with a (4,4)‐connected topology. Two 2‐D grid‐like networks interweave each other by long 4,4′‐azpy bridging ligands to form a dense 2‐D double‐layered network. To the best of our knowledge, this interwoven 2‐D→2‐D network is observed for the first time in [Cu2I2]–organic compounds.  相似文献

The reaction of 2,2′‐Bis(2N‐(1,1′,3,3′‐tetramethyl‐guanidino))diphenylene‐amine (TMG2PA) ( 1 ) with CuI in MeCN results in the formation of [CuII(TMG2PAamid)I] ( 2 ) indicatingthat CuI is the target of an oxidative attack of the N‐H proton of the ligand which itself is converted to molecular hydrogen. In contrast, if [Cu(MeCN)4][PF6] is used as the CuI source, [CuI2(TMGbenz)2][PF6]2 ( 3 ) is obtained instead. The use of the non‐coordinating counterion [PF6] apparently prevents CuI from oxidation but induces itself a cyclisation reaction within the ligand which results in the formation of a benzimidazole‐guanidine ligand.  相似文献

The controlled self‐assembly of CuI and an asymmetric ligand with mixed N/S donors, 2‐(tert‐butylthio)‐N‐(pyridin‐3‐yl)acetamide ( L ), afforded three CuI coordination polymers (CPs), [Cu4I4 L 2(MeCN)2]n ( 1 ), [Cu4I4 L 2]n ( 2 ), and {[Cu4I4 L 2] ? MeOH}n ( 3 ). X‐ray analyses showed that CPs 1 – 3 are supramolecular isomers with 1, 2, and 3D structures, respectively. CP 1 adopts a stairstep Cu4I4 cluster, whereas CPs 2 and 3 are composed of cubane‐like Cu4I4 clusters. Crystal‐to‐crystal transformations of 1 to 2 and 3 showed reversible transformations between different Cu4I4 clusters using heat or solvent (acetonitrile or methanol) vapor. CP 2 was reversibly transformed to 3 by the addition of methanol and heat. Therefore, the transformations between supramolecular isomers 1 , 2 , and 3 are completely reversible.  相似文献

Five metal–organic frameworks (MOFs) formed by [WS4Cux]x?2 secondary building units (SBUs) and multi‐pyridyl ligands are presented. The [WS4Cux]x?2 SBUs function as network vertexes showing various geometries and connectivities. Compound 1 contains one‐dimensional channels formed in fourfold interpenetrating diamondoid networks with a hexanuclear [WS4Cu5]3+ unit as SBU, which shows square‐pyramidal geometry and acts as a tetrahedral node. Compound 2 contains brick‐wall‐like layer also with a hexanuclear [WS4Cu5]3+ unit as SBU. The [WS4Cu5]3+ unit in 2 is a new type of [WS4Cux]x?2 cluster unit in which the five Cu+ ions are in one plane with the W atom, forming a planar unit. Compound 3 shows a nanotubular structure with a pentanuclear [WS4Cu4]2+ unit as SBU, which is saddle‐shaped and acts as a tetrahedral node. Compound 4 contains large cages formed between two interpenetrated (10,3)‐a networks also with a pentanuclear [WS4Cu4]2+ unit acting as a triangular node. The [WS4Cu4]2+ unit in 4 is isomeric to that in 3 and first observed in a MOF. Compound 5 contains zigzag chains with a tetrahedral [WS4Cu3]+ unit as SBU, which acts as a V‐shaped connector. The influence of synthesis conditions including temperature, ligand, anions of CuI salts, and the ratio of [NH4]2WS4 to CuI salt on the formation of these [WS4Cux]x?2‐based MOFs were also studied. Porous MOF 3 is stable upon removal and exchange of the solvent guests, and when accommodating different solvent molecules, it exhibits specific colors depending on the polarity of incorporated solvent, that is, it shows a rare solvatochromic effect and has interesting prospects in sensing applications.  相似文献

A novel metal-organic framework (MOF) based on a tetranuclear copper cluster and a linear organic ligand formulated as [Cu4OCl6(DABCO)2]·0.5DABCO·4CH3OH (denoted as MFU-5, MFU=Metal-Organic Framework, Ulm University; DABCO=1,4-diazabicyclo[2.2.2]octane), was prepared via solvothermal synthesis. In contrast with common MOF synthesis strategies, MFU-5 is assembled from pre-defined molecular secondary building units, i.e. {Cu4OCl6} moieties, which become the nodes of the coordination framework. The title compound was characterized by single crystal X-ray diffraction, variable temperature powder diffraction (VT-XRPD), thermal analysis, as well as IR- and UV/Vis spectroscopy. Crystal data for MFU-5: hexagonal, P6/mcc (no. 192), a=25.645(9), c=17.105(11) Å, V=9742(8) Å3, Z=12, 1690 structure factors, R[F2>2σ(F2)]=0.049. MFU-5 is a 3D metal-organic framework with 1D channels running along the c-axis hosting DABCO and methanol solvent molecules. The framework displays a zeolite-like structure constructed from mso cages, which represents the composite building units in the zeolites SSF, MSO and SZR. Two-fold interpenetration is observed between these building units. TG/DTA-MS and VT-XRPD characterization reveal a stepwise release of methanol and DABCO molecules upon heating, eventually resulting in a structural change into a non-porous material.  相似文献

Reactions of the ligand 2 ‐ MTPP [2‐MTPP = 2‐(methylthio)‐4‐(pyridin‐2‐yl)pyrimidine] with AgNO3 and CuI produced dinuclear silver(I) ( 1 ) and copper(I) ( 2 ) complexes, respectively. Both complexes adopt a chair‐like structure in which two 2 ‐ MTPP ligands and two metal ions are joined together through M–N and M–S coordination bonds. The luminescence properties of both complexes were investigated in solid state at room temperature.  相似文献
