This paper is dedicated to the study of the Navier‐Stokes‐Landau‐Lifshitz system. We obtain the global existence of a unique solution for this system without any small conditions imposed on the third component of the initial velocity field. Our methods mainly rely upon the Fourier frequency localization and Bony's paraproduct decomposition.  相似文献

In this paper, we are concerned with the Cauchy problem for the density‐dependent incompressible flow of liquid crystals in thewhole space (N ≥ 2).We prove the localwell‐posedness for large initial velocity field and director field of the system in critical Besov spaces if the initial density is close to a positive constant. We show also the global well‐posedness for this system under a smallness assumption on initial data. In particular, this result allows us to work in Besov space with negative regularity indices, where the initial velocity becomes small in the presence of the strong oscillations. In this paper, we consider the global existence of weak solutions for a two‐component μ‐Camassa–Holm system in the periodic setting. Global existence for strong solutions to the system with smooth approximate initial value is derived. We consider a two‐component Camassa–Holm system which arises in shallow water theory. We analyze a wave breaking mechanism and the global existence of solutions. First, we discuss the local well posedness and a blow up mechanism, then establish some new blow up criteria for this system formulated either on the line or with space‐periodic initial conditions. The dynamics of dilute electrons can be modeled by the Vlasov‐Poisson‐Boltz‐mann system, where electrons interact with themselves through collisions and with their self‐consistent electric field. It is shown that any smooth, periodic initial perturbation of a given global Maxwellian that preserves the same mass, momentum, and total energy (including both kinetic and electric energy), leads to a unique global‐in‐time classical solution. The construction of global solutions is based on an energy method with a new estimate of dissipation from the collision: ∫0tLf(s), f(s)〉ds is positive definite for solution f(t,x,v) with small amplitude to the Vlasov‐Poisson‐Boltzmann system (1.4). © 2002 Wiley Periodicals, Inc.  相似文献

In this paper, we study the initial boundary‐value problem with combined power‐type nonlinearities by utilizing potential well method. We provide an algorithm to compute the depth of the potential well with the help of Mathematica, and derive the invariant subsets, global existence and blowup of solutions. We establish the global existence and uniqueness of classical solutions to the Cauchy problem for the isentropic compressible Navier‐Stokes equations in three spatial dimensions with smooth initial data that are of small energy but possibly large oscillations with constant state as far field, which could be either vacuum or nonvacuum. The initial density is allowed to vanish, and the spatial measure of the set of vacuum can be arbitrarily large; in particular, the initial density can even have compact support. These results generalize previous results on classical solutions for initial densities being strictly away from vacuum and are the first for global classical solutions that may have large oscillations and can contain vacuum states. © 2012 Wiley Periodicals, Inc.  相似文献

In this paper, we study the dynamic stability of the three‐dimensional axisymmetric Navier‐Stokes Equations with swirl. To this purpose, we propose a new one‐dimensional model that approximates the Navier‐Stokes equations along the symmetry axis. An important property of this one‐dimensional model is that one can construct from its solutions a family of exact solutions of the three‐dimensionaFinal Navier‐Stokes equations. The nonlinear structure of the one‐dimensional model has some very interesting properties. On one hand, it can lead to tremendous dynamic growth of the solution within a short time. On the other hand, it has a surprising dynamic depletion mechanism that prevents the solution from blowing up in finite time. By exploiting this special nonlinear structure, we prove the global regularity of the three‐dimensional Navier‐Stokes equations for a family of initial data, whose solutions can lead to large dynamic growth, but yet have global smooth solutions. © 2007 Wiley Periodicals, Inc.  相似文献

In this paper, we consider a three dimensional quantum Navier‐Stokes‐Poisson equations. Existence of global weak solutions is obtained, and convergence toward the classical solution of the incompressible Navier‐Stokes equation is rigorously proven for well prepared initial data. In this paper, we study global existence and asymptotic stability of solutions for the initial value problem of the three‐dimensional (3‐D) generalized incompressible micropolar system in Fourier‐Besov spaces. We analyze the two‐dimensional parabolic‐elliptic Patlak‐Keller‐Segel model in the whole Euclidean space ?2. Under the hypotheses of integrable initial data with finite second moment and entropy, we first show local‐in‐time existence for any mass of “free‐energy solutions,” namely weak solutions with some free‐energy estimates. We also prove that the solution exists as long as the entropy is controlled from above. The main result of the paper is to show the global existence of free‐energy solutions with initial data as before for the critical mass 8π/χ. Actually, we prove that solutions blow up as a delta Dirac at the center of mass when t → ∞ when their second moment is kept constant at any time. In this paper we consider the non‐linear wave equation a,b>0, associated with initial and Dirichlet boundary conditions. We prove, under suitable conditions on α,β,m,p and for negative initial energy, a global non‐existence theorem. This improves a result by Yang (Math. Meth. Appl. Sci. 2002; 25 :825–833), who requires that the initial energy be sufficiently negative and relates the global non‐existence of solutions to the size of Ω. In this paper, we consider the initial boundary value problem for a class of reaction‐diffusion systems with generalized coupled source terms. The assumption on the coupled source terms refers to the single equations and includes many kinds of polynomial growth cases. Under this assumption, the reaction‐diffusion systems have a variational structure, which is the foundation of constructing the potential wells to classify the initial data. In subcritical energy level and critical energy level, which are divided from potential well theory, the global existence solution, blow‐up in finite time solution, and asymptotic behavior of solution are obtained, respectively. Furthermore, we show the sufficient conditions of global well posedness with supercritical energy level by combining with comparison principle and semigroup theory.  相似文献

By perturbing the Cauchy problem around a rarefaction wave, we obtain a global weak solution for the system under the assumption u?u+. The global weak solution is obtained as a limit of approximation solutions. In this short paper, the initial value problem for the Navier‐Stokes equations with the Coriolis force is investigated. The Coriolis force appears in almost all of the models of meteorology and geophysics dealing with large‐scale phenomena. We prove that existence of uniform global large solutions to the Navier‐Stokes equations with the Coriolis force for a class of special initial data. The results obtained in this paper are different from the previous 2 types of results.  相似文献

In this paper, we investigate the large‐time decay and stability to any given global smooth solutions of the 3‐D incompressible inhomogeneous Navier‐Stokes equations. In particular, we prove that given any global smooth solution (a,u) of (1.2), the velocity field u decays to 0 with an explicit rate, which coincides with the L2 norm decay for the weak solutions of the 3‐D classical Navier‐Stokes system [26,29] as t goes to ∞. Moreover, a small perturbation to the initial data of (a,u) still generates a unique global smooth solution to (1.2), and this solution keeps close to the reference solution (a,u) for t > 0. In this paper, we prove the global existence of smooth solutions to the three‐dimensional incompressible magnetohydrodynamical system with initial data close enough to the equilibrium state, (e3,0). Compared with previous works by Lin, Xu, and Zhang and by Xu and Zhang, here we present a new Lagrangian formulation of the system, which is a damped wave equation and which is nondegenerate only in the direction of the initial magnetic field. Furthermore, we remove the admissible condition on the initial magnetic field, which was required in the earlier works. By using the Frobenius theorem and anisotropic Littlewood‐Paley theory for the Lagrangian formulation of the system, we achieve the global L1‐in‐time Lipschitz estimate of the velocity field, which allows us to conclude the global existence of solutions to this system. In the case when the initial magnetic field is a constant vector, the large‐time decay rate of the solution is also obtained.© 2016 Wiley Periodicals, Inc.  相似文献
