The cyclization of N 6‐(ω‐hydroxyalkyl)adenines with a N6H‐group leads to N6,N1 ring closure regardless of the method of the cyclization that was used. Five‐membered to eight‐membered rings were obtained using NBS/PPh3; however, under Mitsunobu conditions, the eight‐membered fused purine was not formed. Surprisingly, the cyclization of N 6‐methyl‐N 6‐(4‐hydroxybutyl)adenine only leads to N6,N7 ring closure using both methods.  相似文献

An enantioselective Michael addition– four‐atom ring expansion cascade reaction involving cyclobutanones activated by a N‐aryl secondary amide group and ortho‐amino nitrostyrenes has been developed for the preparation of functionalized eight‐membered benzolactams using bifunctional aminocatalysts. Taking advantage of the secondary amide activating group, the eight‐membered cyclic products could be further rearranged into their six‐membered isomers having a glutarimide core under base catalysis conditions without erosion of optical purity, featuring an overall ring expansion– ring contraction strategy.  相似文献

A series of benzo-fused heteroaromatic compounds with 5-, 6- and 7-membered tings, such as benzimidazole,quinoxaline and 1H-1,5-benzodiazepine derivatives, were synthesized through condensation reaction of o-pheny1-enediamine with ary1 aldehydes or ketones. The experimental conditions were carefully examined, and the products were characterized by ^1H NMR, ^13C NMR, MS, IR and elemental analyses. In addition, the structure of a benzodiazaepine derivative with 7-membered ring was confirmed by single crystal X-ray diffraction analysis.  相似文献

The title compound, bis­(borato)­dodeca(tert‐butoxo)­octa­deca­lithium, [Li18(BO3)2(C4H9O)12], is formulated conveniently as [{(tBuOLi)3(Li3BO3)}2(tBuOLi)6]. A central 12‐membered ring and two outer six‐membered rings are formed by alternating Li+ cations and alkoxide O atoms. Sandwiched between the central ring and each of the outer rings is a planar array of three further Li+ cations surrounding a [BO3]3− anion. Thus, the mol­ecule consists of a cationic [Li18(OtBu)12]6+ cage encapsulating two borate anions. This compound is the first example of a structurally characterized polynuclear lithium borate, and a rare case of a lithium alkoxide cage with nuclearity greater than eight. All the alkoxide ligands are triply bridging, and the lithium ions have trigonal‐planar, trigonal‐pyramidal and fourfold coordination, all with major distortions from regular coordination geometry.  相似文献

The new six‐membered‐ring (2R)‐10a‐homobornane‐10a,2‐sultam (−)‐ 3a was synthesized and its X‐ray structural analysis was compared with that of the novel structure of the five‐membered‐ring (2R)‐bornane‐10,2‐sultam analogues (−)‐ 1a , b as well as with that already published for the six‐membered‐ring trans‐decalin‐like sultam 4a . Based on DN** density‐function calculations and X‐ray crystallographic studies of the N‐methylated analogues (−)‐ 1e and 4b and by comparing with the conformation of the N‐fluoro derivatives (−)‐ 1c and (+)‐ 1d , the anomeric stabilization was estimated to be smaller than the 2.0–2.5 kcal/mol earlier suggested. The direction of pyramidalization is rationalized in terms of H‐bond and steric and electronic interactions and extended to the known toluenesultam derivatives 10a – c .  相似文献

A series of six‐ and seven‐membered expanded‐ring N‐heterocyclic carbene (er‐NHC) gold(I) complexes has been synthesized using different synthetic approaches. Complexes with weakly coordinating anions [(er‐NHC)AuX] (X?=BF4?, NTf2?, OTf?) were generated in solution. According to their 13C NMR spectra, the ionic character of the complexes increases in the order X?=Cl?<NTf2?<OTf?<BF4?. Additional factors for stabilization of the cationic complexes are expansion of the NHC ring and the attachment of bulky substituents at the nitrogen atoms. These er‐NHCs are bulkier ligands and stronger electron donors than conventional NHCs as well as phosphines and sulfides and provide more stabilization of [(L)Au+] cations. A comparative study has been carried out of the catalytic activities of five‐, six‐, and seven‐membered carbene complexes [(NHC)AuX], [(Ph3P)AuX], [(Me2S)AuX], and inorganic compounds of gold in model reactions of indole and benzofuran synthesis. It was found that increased ionic character of the complexes was correlated with increased catalytic activity in the cyclization reactions. As a result, we developed an unprecedentedly active monoligand cationic [(THD‐Dipp)Au]BF4 (1,3‐bis(2,6‐diisopropylphenyl)‐3,4,5,6‐tetrahydrodiazepin‐2‐ylidene gold(I) tetrafluoroborate) catalyst bearing seven‐membered‐ring carbene and bulky Dipp substituents. Quantitative yields of cyclized products were attained in several minutes at room temperature at 1 mol % catalyst loadings. The experimental observations were rationalized and fully supported by DFT calculations.  相似文献

The metalloradical activation of ortho‐benzallylaryl N‐tosyl hydrazones with [Co(TPP)] (TPP=tetraphenylporphyrin) as the catalyst enabled the controlled exploitation of the single‐electron reactivity of the redox non‐innocent carbene intermediate. This method offers a novel route to prepare eight‐membered rings, using base metal catalysis to construct a series of unique dibenzocyclooctenes through selective Ccarbene?Caryl cyclization. The desired eight‐membered‐ring products were obtained in good to excellent yields. A large variety of aromatic substituents are tolerated. The proposed reaction mechanism involves intramolecular hydrogen atom transfer (HAT) to CoIII–carbene radical intermediates followed by dissociation of an ortho‐quinodimethane that undergoes 8π cyclization. The mechanism is supported by DFT calculations, and the presence of radical‐type intermediates was confirmed by trapping experiments.  相似文献

. The complex Hg4(L2)2(NO3)4 ( 1 ) (L2 = morpholin‐4‐ylpyridin‐2‐ylmethyleneamine) has been synthesized and characterized by CHN analysis, IR, and UV/Vis spectroscopy. The crystal structure of 1 was determined using single‐crystal X‐ray diffraction. The crystal structure of 1 contains four mercury atoms, four nitrate anions (two terminal and two bridge ones) and two L2 ligand molecules. A chair shape, six‐membered ring is formed with the sequence OHgHgOHgHg built from Hg–Hg dumbbells and oxygen atoms from the nitrate co‐ligands. In the crystal structure, the asymmetric unit of the compound is built up by one‐half of the molecule. It contains the Hg22+ moiety with a mercury–mercury bonded core, in which one diimine ligand is coordinated to one of the mercury atoms. The nitrate anions act as anisobidentate and bidentate ligands.  相似文献

A series of pyridoxine derivatives was investigated by 1H and 2D nuclear overhauser enhancement spectroscopy (NOESY) NMR. The free energies of activation for the pyridyl‐oxygen rotation of the 2,4‐dinitrophenyl ether of the seven‐membered acetals of pyridoxine were measured by dynamic NMR. A conformational exchange between the chair and twist forms of the seven‐membered acetal ring was confirmed by dynamic NMR and STO3G computations. Copyright © 2014 John Wiley & Sons, Ltd.  相似文献

The first total synthesis of the Euphorbia diterpenoid pepluanol B in both racemic and enantioenriched form involves 20 steps from a known bicyclic diol. This synthesis features an unprecedented bromo‐epoxidation to control the eight‐membered‐ring conformation. In addition, salient reactions for the construction of the tetracyclic backbone include a sterically challenging aldol reaction to establish the quaternary center, a ring closing metathesis (RCM) to forge the eight‐membered ring, and a diastereoselective cyclopropanation to assemble the embedded cyclopropane motif.  相似文献

The asymmetric unit of the title two‐dimensional coordination polymer, [Co2(C16H6O8)(C14H14N4)2]n, contains one Co2+ ion, half of a biphenyl‐3,3′,4,4′‐tetracarboxylate (bptc) anion lying about an inversion centre and one 1,4‐bis(imidazol‐1‐ylmethyl)benzene (bix) ligand. The CoII atom is coordinated by three carboxylate O atoms from two different bptc ligands and two N atoms from two bix ligands constructing a distorted square pyramid. Each Co2+ ion is interlinked by two bptc anions, while each bptc anion coordinates to four Co atoms as a hexadentate ligand so that four CoII atoms and four bptc anions afford a larger 38‐membered ring. These inorganic rings are further extended into a two‐dimensional undulated network in the (10) plane. Two CoII atoms in adjacent 38‐membered rings are joined together by pairs of bix ligands forming a 26‐membered [Co2(bix)2] ring that is penetrated by a bptc anion; these components share a common inversion centre.  相似文献

The title compound, [Cd(NCS)2(C13H10N4OS)2]n, contains SCN anions acting as end‐to‐end bridging ligands which utilize both S and N atoms to link cadmium(II) centers into one‐dimensional double chains. The multidentate 5‐(4‐pyridyl)‐2‐(2‐pyridylmethylsulfanyl)‐1,3,4‐oxadiazole ligands behave as monodentate terminal ligands, binding metal centers only through the N atoms of the 4‐pyridyl groups. Two types of eight‐membered rings are formed by two SCN anions bridging CdII centers, viz. planar and chair conformation, which are alternately disposed along the same chain. Finally, chains define a two‐dimensional array through two different interchain π–π stacking interactions.  相似文献

Analogues of dibenzodiazepines, in which the seven‐membered nitrogen heterocycle is replaced by a 9–12‐membered ring, were made by an unactivated Smiles rearrangement of five‐ to eight‐membered heterocyclic anthranilamides. The conformational preference of the tertiary amide in the starting material leads to intramolecular migration of a range of aryl rings, even those lacking electron‐withdrawing activating groups, and provides a method for n n +4 ring expansion. The medium‐ring products adopt a chiral ground state with an intramolecular, transannular hydrogen bond. The rate of interconversion of their enantiomeric conformers depends on solvent polarity. Ring size and adjacent steric hindrance modulate this hidden hydrophilicity, thus making this scaffold a good candidate for drug development.  相似文献

We present a high‐yielding intramolecular oxidative coupling within a diazadioxa[10]helicene to give a dihydro‐diazatrioxa[9]circulene. This is the first [n]circulene containing more than eight ortho‐annulated rings (n>8). The single‐crystal X‐ray structure reveals a tight columnar packing, with a proton from a pendant naphthalene moiety centred directly above the central nine‐membered ring. This distinct environment induces a significant magnetic deshielding effect on that particular proton as determined by 1H NMR spectroscopy. The origin of the deshielding effect was investigated computationally in terms of the NICS values. It is established that the deshielding effect originates from an induced paratropic ring current from the seven aromatic rings of the [9]circulene structure, and is not due to the nine‐membered ring being antiaromatic. UV/Vis spectroscopy reveals more efficient conjugation in the prepared diazatrioxa[9]circulene compared to the parent helical azaoxa[10]helicenes, and DFT calculations, including energy levels, confirm the experimental observations.  相似文献

Cu(II) complexes of 14‐membered hexaaza macrocyclic ligand with C‐methyl substituent of the type [CuL](X)2 (where L = 3,10‐bisbenzyl‐6,13‐dimethyl‐1,3,5,8,10,12‐hexaazacyclotetradecane, and X = ClO4, PF6) were synthesized by tandem reaction. They were characterized by spectral and single‐crystal X‐ray diffraction techniques. The complexes show distorted octahedral geometry and the counter ions are weakly coordinated to the metal ion at the axial positions. The macrocyclic ring adopts the trans‐III configuration with six‐ and five‐membered chelate rings in chair and gauche conformation, respectively. It was observed that in the solid state the arrangement of the coordination sphere is distorted octahedral whereas, in solution, a square‐planar structure is predominant. The molar conductance of the complexes indicates that the axially bonded anions are almost dissociated in acetonitrile solution. The Electron Paramagnetic Resonance (EPR) spectrum of complex 1 is axial and consistent with a dx2y2 ground state. The [CuL](ClO4)2 was found to be active against the tested microorganism. The title compound, [Co(C10H8N2)3]2[V4O12]·11H2O, is composed of two symmetry‐related cations containing octahedrally coordinated CoII ions, a centrosymmetric [V4O12]4− anion with an eight‐membered ring structure made up of four VO4 tetrahedra, and 11 solvent water molecules. The CoII cations and vanadate anions are isolated and build cation and anion layers, respectively. In addition, the title compound exhibits a three‐dimensional network through intra‐ and intermolecular hydrogen‐bond interactions between water molecules and O atoms of the anions, and the crystal structure is stabilized mainly by hydrogen bonds.  相似文献

The complex ABC‐tricyclic structure of crotophorbolone, a derivative of the tigliane diterpenoids, was assembled by coupling of simple fragments. The six‐membered C‐ring fragment, having five contiguous stereocenters, was stereoselectively constructed from (R)‐carvone. After attachment of the five‐membered A‐ring through the π‐allyl Stille coupling reaction, the α‐alkoxy bridgehead radical reaction effected the endo‐cyclization of the seven‐membered B‐ring by forming the sterically congested bond at C9 and C10 stereospecifically and stereoselectively, respectively. Finally, the functional groups on the 5/7/6‐membered ring system were manipulated by rhodium‐catalyzed C2 olefin isomerization, C13 decarboxylative oxidation, and C4 hydroxylation, thus completing the first total synthesis of crotophorbolone.  相似文献

In the asymmetric unit of the title compound, 2C12H24N+·C6H8O42?·H2O, the carboxyl­ate ion lies about an inversion center, the water mol­ecule is on a twofold axis and the sec‐ammonium cation is in a general position. Cations link the oxy­gen ends of two adjacent carboxyl­ate anions to form an eight‐membered ring [N?O 2.683 (3) and 2.711 (3) Å]. The ion pair propagates as a linear chain and adjacent chains are linked through the water mol­ecules [O?O 2.966 (3) Å] into layers.  相似文献

Four‐membered ring thiosulfonium ions may be obtained quantitatively and under mild conditions by anionotropic rearrangement of C‐(tert‐butyl)‐substituted thiiranium ion precursors. Thus, t‐4‐(tert‐butyl)‐r‐1,2,2,c‐3‐tetramethylthietanium tetrafluoroborate or hexachloroantimonate ( 2a or 2b , resp.) were formed from thiiranium ion 1 . The thietanium salts 2a and 2b were characterized by X‐ray crystal‐structure analysis. Their cation geometry was also optimized by ab initio calculations at the RHF/6‐31G*//RHF/6‐31G* level, as were those of its stereoisomer 3 and of the unsubstituted S‐methylthietanium ion 5 . Comparison of 2 , 3 , and 5 with 4 – the only other thietanium ion studied by XRD, where the C‐atoms of the thioniacyclobutane ring are part of a trinorbornane skeleton – indicates that, in these systems, relief from substituent overcrowding is easily achieved by a folding of the four‐membered ring along the line connecting the two opposite C‐atoms. The corresponding ring‐deformation normal mode has a calculated frequency as low as 109 cm−1 in ion 5 , to be compared with a frequency of 138 cm−1 in methylcyclobutane. For thietanium ion 2 , the frequencies of the two normal modes involving such ring deformation have calculated values of 61 and 85 cm−1.  相似文献

We report the first total synthesis of the proposed structure of ardimerin, which was achieved in 14 steps starting from 2,3,4‐trimethoxybenzoic acid. The key steps include the β‐selective formation of the crucial C‐glycoside linkage and stepwise construction of the strained eight‐membered salicylide core. The synthesis revealed that the proposed structure 1 does not match the natural product. A proposal is made for reassigning the isolated natural product to the already known structure of bergenin. Interesting properties of the synthetic eight‐membered salicylides are documented, including their susceptibility toward nucleophilic ring opening and the bowl chirality.  相似文献
