An efficient C(sp(3))-CF(3) bond-forming reaction via Cu-catalyzed oxidative trifluoromethylation of terminal alkenes has been developed, which proceeds under mild conditions using readily available, less expensive CF(3)SiMe(3) as the source of the CF(3) group. This method allows access to a variety of trifluoromethylated allylic compounds.  相似文献

The reaction of phenyliodine bis(trifluoroacetate) (PIFA) with a series of anilides 1 (E = CO(2)Et) in CF(3)CH(2)OH was found to give 3-hydroxy-2-oxindole derivatives 2, while that with various anilides 1' (E = CON(R(4))Ar) afforded the C(2)-symmetric or unsymmetric spirooxindoles 3. These processes feature a metal-free oxidative C(sp(2))-C(sp(3)) bond formation, followed by oxidative hydroxylation or spirocyclization.  相似文献

Treatment of the bis(perfluoroalkyl)triazapentadiene PhN=C(C(3)F(7))-N=C(C(3)F(7))-NHPh, 2, with bases affords salts of the conjugate base. Alkylation of the Na(+) salt with CH(3)I yields PhN=C(C(3)F(7))-N=C(C(3)F(7))-NMePh. The crystal structure of [Bu(4)N][Ph(2)N(3)C(2)(C(3)F(7))(2)] demonstrates a twisted, zigzag geometry for the anion in the solid state, but in solution, it is conformationally unstable. Both compounds are stable in aqueous methanol, but hydrolysis occurs under acidic conditions. Protonation with CF(3)SO(3)H acid occurs at the sp(2) nitrogen to give [PhN-(H) HC(C(3)F(7))-C(C(3)F(7))-NHPh][CF(3)SO(3)]. Heating 2 in CF(3)SO(3)H produces 2,4-bis(heptafluoropropyl)-1,3-quinazoline.  相似文献

While most metallic elements across the Periodic Table form stable chelating β-diketiminato complexes, examples of Au(I) are conspicuous by their absence. We report here the reaction of K[HC(F(3)CC=NR)(2)] with AuCl(PPh(3)) which provides a rare example of a thermally stable gold(I) diketiminato complex, (Ph(3)P)Au[RN=C(CF(3))CH(CF(3))C=NR] [R = 3,5-C(6)H(3)(CF(3))(2)]. The complex is highly fluxional in solution but in the solid state adopts a U-conformation. By contrast, the analogous reaction of K[HC(F(3)CC=NR)(2)] with CuBr(PPh(3))(3) gives the rigid 18-electron chelate complex (Ph(3)P)(2)Cu[κ(2)-HC{(CF(3))C=NR}(2)].  相似文献

The syntheses of Ir(I) and Ir(III) complexes incorporating the electron-withdrawing pincer ligand (1,3-C(6)H(4)(CH(2)P(CF(3))(2))(2)) ((CF(3))PCPH) with (PPh(3))(3)Ir(CO)H and subsequent chemistry are reported. Under ambient conditions, reaction of 1 equiv. (CF(3))PCPH with (PPh(3))(3)Ir(CO)H gave the mono-bridged complex [Ir(CO)(PPh(3))(2)(H)](2)(μ-(CF(3))PCPH) (1). Reaction of (PPh(3))(3)Ir(CO)H with excess (CF(3))PCPH and MeI gave the doubly-bridged complex [Ir(CO)(PPh(3))(H)](2)(μ-(CF(3))PCPH)(2) (2), whereas the tetrameric oligomer [Ir(CO)(PPh(3))(H)](4)(μ-(CF(3))PCPH)(4) (2-sq) was obtained from a 1:1 ligand:metal mixture in benzene in the presence of excess MeI. At higher temperatures (165 °C) the reaction of (CF(3))PCPH with (PPh(3))(3)Ir(CO)H afforded the 5-coordinate Ir(I) complex ((CF(3))PCP)Ir(CO)(PPh(3)) (3). Complex 3 shows mild catalytic activity for the decarbonylation of 2-naphthaldehyde in refluxing diglyme (162 °C).  相似文献

Partially modified retro- (PMR) and retro-inverso (PMRI) psi[NHCH(CF(3))]Gly peptides, a conceptually new class of peptidomimetics, have been synthesized in wide structural diversity and variable length by aza-Michael reaction of enantiomerically pure alpha-amino esters and peptides with enantiomerically and geometrically pure N-4,4,4-trifluorocrotonoyl-oxazolidin-2-ones. The factors underlying the observed moderate to good diastereocontrol have been investigated. The conformations of model PMR-psi[NHCH(CF(3))]Gly tripeptides have been studied in solution by (1)H NMR spectroscopy supported by MD calculations, as well as in the solid-state by X-ray diffraction. Remarkable stability of turn-like conformations, comparable to that of parent malonyl-based retropeptides, was evidenced, as a likely consequence of two main factors: 1) severe torsional restrictions about sp(3) bonds in the [CO-CH(2)-CH(CF(3))-NH-CH(R)-CO] module, which is biased by the stereoelectronically demanding CF(3) group and the R side chain; 2) formation of nine-membered intramolecularly hydrogen-bonded rings, which have been clearly detected both in CHCl(3) solution and in some crystal structures. The former factor seems to be more important, as turn-like conformations were found in the solid-state even in the absence of intramolecular hydrogen bonding. The relative configuration of the -C*H(CF(3))NHC*H(R)- stereogenic centers has a major effect on the stability of the turn-like conformation, which seems to require a syn stereochemistry. X-ray diffraction and ab initio computational studies showed that the [-CH(CF(3))NH-] group can be seen as a sort of hybrid between a peptide bond mimic and a proteolytic transition state analogue, as it combines some of the properties of a peptidyl -CONH- group (low NH basicity, CH(CF(3))-NH-CH backbone angle close to 120 degrees, C-CF(3) bond substantially isopolar with the C=O) with some others of the tetrahedral intermediate [-C(OX)(O(-))NH-] involved in the protease-mediated hydrolysis reaction of a peptide bond (high electron density on the CF(3) group, tetrahedral backbone carbon).  相似文献

Adding 1% of the metallic elements cerium, lanthanum, and yttrium to graphite rod electrodes resulted in different amounts of the hollow higher fullerenes (HHFs) C76-D2(1), C78-C2v(2), and C78-C2v(3) in carbon-arc fullerene-containing soots. The reaction of trifluoroiodomethane with these and other soluble HHFs at 520-550 degrees C produced 21 new C76,78,84,90(CF3)n derivatives (n = 6, 8, 10, 12, 14). The reaction with C76-D2(1) produced an abundant isomer of C2-(C76-D2(1))(CF3)10 plus smaller amounts of an isomer of C1-(C76-D2(1))(CF3)6, two isomers of C1-(C76-D2(1))(CF3)8, four isomers of C1-(C76-D2(1))(CF3)10, and one isomer of C2-(C76-D2(1))(CF3)12. The reaction with a mixture of C78-D3(1), C78-C2v(2), and C78-C2v(3) produced the previously reported isomer C1-(C78-C2v(3))(CF3)12 (characterized by X-ray crystallography in this work) and the following new compounds: C2-(C78-C2v(3))(CF3)8; C2-(C78-D3(1))(CF3)10 and C(s)-(C78-C2v(2))(CF3)10 (both characterized by X-ray crystallography in this work); C2-(C78-C2v(2))(CF3)10; and C1-C78(CF3)14 (cage isomer unknown). The reaction of a mixture of soluble higher fullerenes including C84 and C90 produced the new compounds C1-C84(CF3)10 (cage isomer unknown), C1-(C84-C2(11))(CF3)12 (X-ray structure reported recently), D2-(C84-D2(22))(CF3)12, C2-(C84-D2(22))(CF3)12, C1-C84(CF3)14 (cage isomer unknown), C1-(C90-C1(32))(CF3)12, and another isomer of C1-C90(CF3)12 (cage isomer unknown). All compounds were studied by mass spectrometry, (19)F NMR spectroscopy, and DFT calculations. An analysis of the addition patterns of these compounds and three other HHF(X) n compounds with bulky X groups has led to the discovery of the following addition-pattern principle for HHFs: In general, the most pyramidal cage C(sp(2)) atoms in the parent HHF, which form the most electron-rich and therefore the most reactive cage C-C bonds as far as 1,2-additions are concerned, are not the cage C atoms to which bulky substituents are added. Instead, ribbons of edge-sharing p-C6(X)2 hexagons, with X groups on less pyramidal cage C atoms, are formed, and the otherwise "most reactive" fullerene double bonds remain intact.  相似文献

A synthetic strategy of 4-benzyl-substituted 1,3-butadiene derivatives through Pd-catalyzed three-component coupling reaction of benzyl chlorides, alkynes, and monosubstituted alkenes is described. This tandem coupling reaction forms a C(sp(3))-C(sp(2)) bond and a C(sp(2))-C(sp(2)) bond sequentially in a single-step operation.  相似文献

The first transition-metal-catalyzed activation of silyl C(sp(3))-H bond was realized and synthetically applied. A variety of organic skeletons substituted with SiMe(3) groups could undergo the Pd-catalyzed intramolecular coupling reaction, resulting in an unprecedented synthetic method for yielding six-membered silacycles. It was found that the adjacent Si atom played an essential role for the activation of the C(sp(3))-H bond of the SiMe(3) group; no activation reaction of the C(sp(3))-H bond of the CMe(3) group took place under the same reaction conditions.  相似文献

One of the most challenging transformations in current organic chemistry is the catalytic carboxylation of a C(sp(3))-H bond using CO(2) gas, an inexpensive and ubiquitous C1 source. A sequential protocol for C(sp(3))-H carboxylation by employing a nitrogen-directed, metal-assisted, C-H activation/catalytic silylation reaction in conjunction with fluoride-mediated carboxylation with CO(2) was established. The carboxylation proceeded only at the benzylic C(sp(3))-Si bond, not at the aromatic C(sp(2))-Si, which is advantageous for further manipulations of the products.  相似文献

Addition of two equivalents of diphenylthiomethylphosphine (PPh2-CH2SPh) to the starting materials [Au(tht)2]A (tht = tetrahydrothiophene), AgCF3SO3, or [Cu(CH3CN)4]CF3SO3 produces the mononuclear derivatives [M(PPh2CH2SPh)2]A (M = Au, A = CF3SO3 (1a); M = Au, A = ClO4 (1b); M = Ag, A = CF3SO3 (4); M = Cu, A = CF3SO3 (5)) which are able to form the heterodinuclear complexes [AuM'(PPh2CH2SPh)2](CF3SO3)2 (M' = Ag (2), Cu (3)) with a P-Au-P environment. If the starting gold complex is [Au(C6F5)(tht)], reaction with the phosphine produces [Au(C6F5)-(PPh2CH2SPh)] (6) from which, by reaction with AgCF3SO3 or [Cu(CH3CN)4]CF3SO3, the "snake"-type linear complexes [Au2M(C6F5)2-(PPh2CH2SPh)2]CF3SO3 (M = Ag (7), Cu (8)) are obtained. If the silver starting complex is AgCF3CO2, reaction in a 1:1 ratio gives the tetranuclear complex [Au2Ag2(C6F5)2(PPh2CH2SPh)2-(CF3CO2)2] (9). When the molar ratio is 1:2 the trinuclear complex [AuAg2(C6F5) (CF3CO2)2(PPh2CH2SPh)] (10) is obtained. According to ab initio calculations, the presence of only one gold atom is enough to induce metallophilic attractions in the group congeners, and this effect can be modulated depending on the gold ligand.  相似文献

A series of dibenzofurans were efficiently and conveniently synthesized via one-pot consecutive C(sp(2))-O bond formation reaction (SNAr) in the presence of anhydrous K(2)CO(3), followed by C(sp(2))-C(sp(2)) bond formation reaction (intramolecular palladium-catalyzed aryl-aryl coupling reaction) between aryl halides and ortho-bromophenols. The desired dibenzofurans were obtained in 32-99% isolated yields.  相似文献

Perfluoroalkynylxenonium salts, [RXe][BF(4)] (R = CF(3)C≡C, (CF(3))(2)CFC≡C), reacted with organyl iodides, R'I (R' = 3-FC(6)H(4), C(6)F(5), CF(2)═CF, CF(3)CH(2); no reaction with R' = CF(3)CF(2)CF(2)) in anhydrous HF to yield the corresponding asymmetric polyfluorinated iodonium salts, [RR'I][Y]. The action of the arylxenonium salt, [C(6)F(5)Xe][BF(4)], and the cycloalkenylxenonium salt, [cyclo-1,4-C(6)F(7)Xe][AsF(6)], on 4-FC(6)H(4)I gave [C(6)F(5)(4-FC(6)H(4))I][BF(4)] and [cyclo-1,4-C(6)F(7)(4-FC(6)H(4))I][AsF(6)], respectively, besides the symmetric iodonium salt, [(4-FC(6)H(4))(2)I][Y]. But the aryl-, as well as the cycloalkenylxenonium salt, did not react with C(6)F(5)I, CF(2)═CFI, and CF(3)CH(2)I.  相似文献

Instead of reductive elimination of aldehyde, or decarbonylation to give a trifluoroalkyl hydride, heating Cp(PMe(3))Ir(H)[C(O)CF(3)] (1) leads to the quantitative formation of Cp(PMe(3))Ir(CO) (2) and CF(3)H. Kinetic experiments, isotope labeling studies, solvent effect studies, and solvent-inclusive DFT calculations support a mechanism that involves initial dissociation of trifluoromethyl anion to give the transient ion-pair intermediate [Cp(PMe(3))Ir(H)(CO)](+)[CF(3)](-). Further evidence for the ability of CF(3)(-) to act as a leaving group came from the investigation of the analogous methyl and chloride derivatives Cp(PMe(3))Ir(Me)[C(O)CF(3)] and Cp(PMe(3))Ir(Cl)[C(O)CF(3)]. Both of these compounds undergo a similar loss of trifluoromethyl anion, generating an iridium carbonyl cation and CF(3)D in CD(3)OD. Three additional acyl hydrides, Cp(PMe(3))Ir(H)[C(O)R(F)] (where R(F) = CF(2)CF(3), CF(2)CF(2)CF(3), or CF(2)(CF(2))(6)CF(3)) undergo R(F)-H elimination to give 2 at a faster rate than CF(3)H elimination from 1. Stereochemical studies using a chiral acyl hydride with a stereocenter at the beta-position reveal that ionization of the carbanion occurs to form a tight ion-pair with high retention of configuration and enantiomeric purity upon proton transfer from iridium.  相似文献

In this work, the C(2)F(4)(X(1)A(g)) + O((3)P) reaction was investigated experimentally using molecular beam-threshold ionization mass spectrometry (MB-TIMS). The major primary products were observed to be CF(2)O (+ CF(2)) and CF(3) (+ CFO), with measured approximate yields of % versus %, respectively, neglecting minor products. Furthermore, the lowest-lying triplet and singlet potential energy surfaces for this reaction were constructed theoretically using B3LYP, G2M(UCC, MP2), CBS-QB3, and G3 methods in combination with various basis sets such as 6-31G(d), 6-311+G(3df), and cc-pVDZ. The primary product distribution for the multiwell multichannel reaction was then determined by RRKM statistical rate theory and weak-collision master equation analysis. It was found that the observed production of CF(3) (+ CFO) can only occur on the singlet surface, in parallel with formation of ca. 5 times more CF(2)O(X) + CF(2)(X(1)A(1)). This requires fast intersystem crossing (ISC) from the triplet to the singlet surface at a rate of ca. 4 x 10(12) s(-1). The theoretical calculations combined with the experimental results thus indicate that the yield of triplet CF(2)(?(3)B(1)) + CF(2)O formed on the triplet surface prior to ISC is < or =35%, whereas singlet CF(2)(X(1)A(1)) + CF(2)O is produced with yield > or =60%, after ISC. In addition, the thermal rate coefficients k(O + C(2)F(4)) in the T = 150-1500 K range were computed using multistate transition state theory and can be expressed as k(T) = 1.67 x 10(-16) x T(1.48) cm(3) molecule(-1) s(-1); they are in agreement with the available experimental results in the T = 298-500 K range.  相似文献

A variety of inter- and intramolecular dehydration was found in the reactions of [[Ru(P(OCH(3))(3))(2)(CH(3)CN)(3)](2)(mu-S(2))](CF(3)SO(3))(4) (1) with hydroxyl substituted alkenes and alkynes. Treatment of 1 with allyl alcohol gave a C(3)S(2) five-membered ring complex, [[Ru(P(OCH(3))(3))(2)(CH(3)CN)(3)](2)[mu-SCH(2)CH(2)CH(OCH(2)CH=CH(2))S]](CF(3)SO(3))(4) (2), via C-S bond formation after C-H bond activation and intermolecular dehydration. On the other hand, intramolecular dehydration was observed in the reaction of 1 with 3-buten-1-ol giving a C(4)S(2) six-membered ring complex, [[Ru(P(OCH(3))(3))(2)(CH(3)CN)(3)](2) [mu-SCH(2)CH=CHCH(2)S]](CF(3)SO(3))(4) (3). Complex 1 reacts with 2-propyn-1-ol or 2-butyn-1-ol to give homocoupling products, [[Ru(P(OCH(3))(3))(2)(CH(3)CN)(3)](2)[mu-SCR=CHCH(OCH(2)C triple bond CR)S]](CF(3)SO(3))(4) (4: R = H, 5: R = CH(3)), via intermolecular dehydration. In the reaction with 2-propyn-1-ol, the intermediate complex having a hydroxyl group, [[Ru(P(OCH(3))(3))(2)(CH(3)CN)(3)](2)[mu-SCH=CHCH(OH)S]](CF(3)SO(3))(4) (6), was isolated, which further reacted with 2-propyn-1-ol and 2-butyn-1-ol to give 4 and a cross-coupling product, [[Ru(P(OCH(3))(3))(2)(CH(3)CN)(3)](2)[mu-SCH=CHCH(OCH(2)C triple bond CCH(3))S]](CF(3)SO(3))(4) (7), respectively. The reaction of 1 with diols, (HO)CHRC triple bond CCHR(OH), gave furyl complexes, [[Ru(P(OCH(3))(3))(2)(CH(3)CN)(3)](2)[mu-SSC=CROCR=CH]](CF(3)SO(3))(3) (8: R = H, 9: R = CH(3)) via intramolecular elimination of a H(2)O molecule and a H(+). Even though (HO)(H(3)C)(2)CC triple bond CC(CH(3))(2)(OH) does not have any propargylic C-H bond, it also reacts with 1 to give [[Ru(P(OCH(3))(3))(2)(CH(3)CN)(3)](2)[mu-SCH(2)C(=CH(2))C(=C=C(CH(3))(2))]S](CF(3)SO(3))(4) (10). In addition, the reaction of 1 with (CH(3)O)(H(3)C)(2)CC triple bond CC(CH(3))(2)(OCH(3)) gives [[Ru(P(OCH(3))(3))(2)(CH(3)CN)(2)][mu-S=C(C(CH(3))(2)OCH(3))C=CC(CH(3))CH(2)S][Ru(P(OCH(3))(3))(2)(CH(3)CN)(3)]](CF(3)SO(3))(4) (11), in which one molecule of CH(3)OH is eliminated, and the S-S bond is cleaved.  相似文献

Solution conformations about the metal-carbon bond of the secondary fluoroalkyl ligands in iridium complexes [IrCp(PMe(3))(R(F))X] [Cp* = C(5)Me(5); R(F) = CF(CF(3))(2), X = I (1), CH(3) (2); R(F) = CF(CF(3))(CF(2)CF(3)), X = I (4), CH(3) (5)] have been determined using (19)F[(1)H] HOESY techniques. The molecules adopt the staggered conformation with the tertiary fluorine in the more hindered sector between the PMe(3) and X ligands, with CF(3) (and CF(2)CF(3)) substituents lying in the less hindered regions between PMe(3) and Cp or X and Cp. In molecules containing the CF(CF(3))(2) ligand, these conformations are identical to those adopted in the solid state. For compound 4, containing the CF(CF(3))(CF(2)CF(3)) ligand, two diastereomers are observed in solution. Solution conformations and relative stereocenter configuration assignments have been obtained using (19)F[(1)H] HOESY and correlated with the X-ray structure for the major diastereomer of 4, which has the (S(Ir), S(C)) or (R(Ir), R(C)) configuration. Relative stereocenter configurations of analogue 5, for which no suitable crystals could be obtained, were assigned using (19)F[(1)H] HOESY and proved to be different from 4, with 5 preferring the (S(Ir), R(C)) or (R(Ir), S(C)) configuration.  相似文献

Lewis acid promoted substitution reactions employing Meldrum's acid and 5-methyl Meldrum's acid as carbon-based leaving groups are described which transform unstrained quaternary and tertiary benzylic C(sp(3))-C(sp(3)) bonds into C(sp(3))-X bonds (X = C, H, N). Importantly, this reaction has a broad scope in terms of both suitable substrates and nucleophiles with good to excellent yields obtained (typically >90%).  相似文献

Vibrationally excited CF(2)ClCHFC(2)H(5)(CF(2)ClCHFC(2)D(5)) molecules were prepared in the gas phase at 300 K with approximately 93 kcal mol(-1) of energy by recombination of CF(2)ClCHF and C(2)H(5) or C(2)D(5) radicals. Three unimolecular reactions were observed. 1,2-ClF interchange converts CF(2)ClCHFC(2)H(5)(CF(2)ClCHFC(2)D(5)) into CF(3)CHClC(2)H(5)(CF(3)CHClC(2)D(5)), and subsequent 2,3-ClH (ClD) elimination gives CF(3)CH=CHCH(3) (CF(3)CH=CDCD(3)). 2,3-FH(FD) elimination gives cis- and trans-CF(2)ClCH=CHCH(3) (CF(2)ClCH=CDCD(3)), and 1,2-ClH elimination gives CF(2)=CFCH(2)CH(3) (CF(2)=CFCD(2)CD(3)). The experimental rate constants for CF(2)ClCHFC(2)H(5) (CF(2)ClCHFC(2)D(5)) were 1.3 x 10(4) (0.63 x 10(4)) s(-1) for 1,2-FCl interchange and 2.1 x 10(4) (0.61 x 10(4)) s(-1) with a trans/cis ratio of 3.7 for 2,3-FH(FD) elimination. The 1,2-ClH process was the least important with a branching fraction of only 0.08 +/- 0.04. The rate constants for 2,3-ClH (ClD) elimination from CF(3)CHClC(2)H(5) (CF(3)CHClC(2)D(5)) were 1.8 x 10(6) (0.49 x 10(6)) s(-1) with a trans/cis ratio of 2.4. Density functional theory was used to compute vibrational frequencies and structures needed to obtain rate constants from RRKM theory. Matching theoretical and experimental rate constants provides estimates of the threshold energies, E0, for the three reaction pathways; 1,2-FCl interchange has the lowest E0. The unimolecular reactions of CF(2)ClCHFC(2)H(5) are compared to those of CF(2)ClCHFCH(3). Both of these systems are compared to CH(3)CHFC(2)H(5) to illustrate the influence of a CF(2)Cl group on the E0 for FH elimination.  相似文献

Trifluorothioacetic acid-S-(trifluoromethyl)ester, CF3C(O)SCF3, was prepared by reacting CF3C(O)Cl and AgSCF3 at 50 degrees C. The compound was characterized by (13)C-, (19)F-NMR, UV, and vibrational spectroscopy as well as by gas electron diffraction (GED) and quantum chemical calculations (HF, MP2, and B3LYP methods 6-31G(d) and 6-311+G(2df) basis sets). GED and vibrational spectroscopy result in the presence of a single conformer with C1 symmetry and synperiplanar orientation of the S-CF3 bond relative to the CO bond. This result is in agreement with quantum chemical calculations which predict the anti conformer to be higher in energy by about 4 kcal/mol. An assignment of the IR (gas) and Raman (liquid) spectra is proposed, and the GED analysis results in the following skeletal geometric parameters (r(a) and angle(a) values with 3sigma uncertainties; these parameters are thermal averages and are not inconsistent with calculated equilibrium values): C=O = 1.202(6) A, C-C = 1.525(10) A, S-C(sp(2)) = 1.774(3) A, S-C(sp(3)) = 1.824 (3) A. O=C-C = 118.7(21) degrees, O=C-S = 127.1(15) degrees, C-S-C = 99.8 (13) degrees.  相似文献
