The vapor phase hydrogenation of acetophenone at atmospheric pressure is carried out for the synthesis of 1-phenylethanol in a fixed bed reactor using Cu-Zn-Al-O (LTS-1) and LTS-2, Zn-Cr-Al-O (HTS-1) and Zn-Cu-Cr-Al-O (HTS-2) metal oxide catalysts. Our studies clearly indicate that a catalyst of low temperature hydrogenation activity, when modified for its acidity with magnesium oxide, shows maximum selectivity of 1-phenylethanol. CO2 reforming of methane is performed over zirconia-supported nickel catalysts. The catalysts show high activity toward CH4 and CO2 conversions. Over the high Ni loading catalyst, long-term performances without significant deactivations have been achieved at 1023 K for 30 h and 1123 K for 20 h, respectively. The effects of reduction and calcination temperatures on the catalytic activities are also examined.  相似文献

Factors (reaction temperature, reaction time, flow rate of oxygen, amount of catalyst, etc.) influencing the catalytic properties of Co3O4/SiO2catalyst in the oxidation octadecan-1-ol to octadecanoic acid were investigated. The catalysts were characterized by means of XRD, FT-IR and N2-adsorption. The experimental results indicate that under the optimal condition the selectivity to octadecanoic acid reached 97.5 % over 5 % Co3O4/SiO2 catalyst.This revised version was published online in December 2005 with corrections to the Cover Date.  相似文献

Combustion of dilute propane (0.9 mol%) over Mn-doped ZrO2 catalysts prepared using different precipitating agents (viz. TMAOH, TEAOH, TPAOH, TBAOH and NH4OH), having different Mn/Zr ratios (0.05—0.67) and calcined at different temperatures (500—800°C), has been thoroughly investigated at different temperatures (300—500°C) and space velocities (25,000–100,000 cm3 g−1 h−1) for controlling propane emissions from LPG-fuelled vehicles. Mn-doped ZrO2 catalyst shows high propane combustion activity, particularly when its ZrO2 is in the cubic form, when its Mn/Zr ratio is close to 0.2 and when it is prepared using TMAOH as a precipitating agent and calcined at 500—600°C. Pulse reaction of propane in the absence of free-O2 over Mn-doped ZrO2 (cubic) and Mn-impregnated ZrO2 (monoclinic) catalysts has also been investigated for studying the relative reactivity and mobility of the lattice oxygen of the two catalysts. Both reactivity and mobility of the lattice oxygen of Mn-doped ZrO2 are found to be much higher than that of Mnimpregnated ZrO2. The effect of Rh addition upon catalyst characteristics and performance in methane steam reforming was investigated using Rh-promoted Ni/Al2O3 catalysts. The number of reduced metal atoms exposed on the surface increased for the Rh-promoted catalysts. Rh-promoted catalysts showed an increase in CH4 reforming activity; however, constant turnover frequencies for promoted and unpromoted catalysts suggest that the increase in the number of metal surface atoms caused the activity enhancement. Rh also facilitated reduction of Ni/Al2O3.  相似文献

Thermogravimetric analysis has been used to study carbon deposition during the CO2 reforming of methane over Ni/ZrO2 catalysts. The carbon deposits form on the reduced catalyst at a very fast rate during temperature-programmed surface reaction of reforming, and reach a steady state below 973 K. So, the amount of deposited carbon remains constant on the catalyst during the reaction at 973 K. A relationship between the amount of deposited carbon and the activity reveals that the initially formed carbon acts as a reaction intermediate and reacts with CO2 to produce CO.  相似文献

Fe-ZrO2 and Cu-ZrO2 xerogels were prepared by a sol-gel method. The effect of the hydrolysis catalyst during the gelation step, namely H2SO4 or NH4OH, on the properties of the resulting materials was investigated by XRD, BET, TGA/DTA, TPD of ammonia, FTIR, and TPR. Fe-ZrO2 and Cu-ZrO2 xerogels, with sulfuric acid introduced as the hydrolysis catalyst, mainly crystallyzed in the tetragonal phase and exhibited larger surface area and acid amount than those obtained with NH4OH. Ammonia TPD shows that copper promoted sulfated zirconia is the most acidic material. TGA and FTIR reveal that under oxidizing conditions sulfated zirconia promoted with iron and copper retains more sulfate species than unpromoted sulfated zirconia. Regardless of the hydrolysis catalyst employed, copper promoted catalysts calcined at 600°C, contain a large fraction of copper oxide specieseasily reduced at low temperatures. These copper oxide species are believed to have different environment and interactions with the surface oxygen vacancies of the zirconia support. A FeO-like phase appears to be the most probable one after reduction of Fe-ZrO2 catalysts prepared with NH4OH as the hydrolysis catalyst. The formation of Fe° species may be hindered by the high dispersion and interaction of Fe2+ ions with the zirconia support. On the other hand, the reduction peaks of iron oxide and sulfate species exhibit a considerable overlap in the TPR profiles of sulfated Fe-ZrO2 samples. Hence, the nature of the supported phase in the latter samples is rather uncertain.  相似文献

2-Methyl-3-butyn-2-ol (MBOH) transformation was used as a test reaction in order to determine the acid-base properties of a SiO2/AlPO4 (80∶20 w/w) catalyst. Experiments were carried out in a microcatalytic pulse reactor and in a continuous-flow reactorvia Temperature Programmed Surface Reactions-Mass Spectrometry (TPSR-MS). 制备了Ni负载量为15%的3种催化剂Ni/Al_2O_3、Ni/SiO_2、Ni/ZrO_2,考察了其在1,4-丁炔二醇加氢反应中的催化性能,结合XRD、H_2-TPR、H_2-TPD、N_2物理吸附等表征,研究了载体性质对催化剂1,4-丁炔二醇加氢性能的影响.结果表明,Ni/SiO_2催化剂上,由于Ni与SiO_2间弱的相互作用,Ni物种主要以大晶粒形式存在,产生大量弱吸附H_2物种,有利于低温下1,4-丁炔二醇加氢,在温度50℃,氢气压力1 MPa时,反应2 h可实现1,4-丁炔二醇的完全转化,1,4-丁烯二醇和1,4-丁二醇选择性分别达到68.1%与18.2%.Ni/Al_2O_3中Ni与载体间具有强相互作用,主要存在Ni-Al_2O_3界面或溢流到Al_2O_3载体表面的强吸附H_2物种,而Ni表面的弱吸附H_2物种较少,催化加氢活性明显降低.Ni/ZrO_2中由于还原过程中ZrO_2的迁移包裹作用,Ni表面低温吸附H_2物种最少,活性最低,1,4-丁炔二醇转化率仅为8.1%,主产物为1,4-丁烯二醇.  相似文献

A series of metal oxide catalysts for catalytic oxidative degradation of 2-chlorophenol (2-CP) and 4-chlorophenol (4-CP) were prepared, and the supported CuO catalysts were studied particularly. The supported CuO catalysts were characterized by XRD and NH3-TPD techniques, in which CuO/γ-Al2O3 exhibited high degradation activity. The addition of Na2O or K2O into CuO/γ-Al2O3 improved the oxidative degradation of CPs remarkably, in which Na2O was more efficient than K2O. Over CuO/γ-Al2O3-Na2O, CPs were completely converted and the liberation of the inorganic chloride from 2-CP or 4-CP reached 97% or 100% respectively at 30 ?C for 2 h. The supported CuO catalysts with good dispersion of CuO particles and less acid sites were favorable for the efficient oxidative degradation of CPs. In addition, the initial pH of the reaction solution was found to be an important factor which influenced the catalytic oxidative degradation of CPs and the initial pH of 11.2 and 9.8 was preferred for the oxidative degradation of 2-CP and 4-CP respectively over CuO/γ-Al2O3 catalyst.  相似文献

Preparations were characterized by specific surface area, thermogravimetry, and X-ray diffractometry. Thermal effects observed were (a) sulfur loss, (b) sintering, (c) crystallization and transformation of the crystalline phase(s). Thermoanalytical curves indicate that decomposition of the sulfate occurs in two distinct steps. Decrease of surface area due to (b) and (c) is concomitant to decomposition of sulfate. Sulfate was found to hinder sintering, crystallization and phase transformations of ZrO2 and TiO2. In low-titania and -zirconia sulfated TiO2-ZrO2 the minor component enhances the effect of sulfate. In equimolar TiO2-ZrO2 sulfate decomposition is accompanied by rapid formation of crystalline TiZrO4.This work was supported by the MOL Rt., Hungary, which is gratefully acknowledged.  相似文献

Ammonia synthesis from H2-N2 mixed gas was studied at room temperature in a glow-discharge plasma in the presence of metals or metal oxides. Magnesia (MgO) and calcia (CaO), which are oxides with solid basicity, revealed catalytic activity in the plasma synthesis of ammonia, although they are catalytically inactive in industrial ammonia synthesis. The acidic oxides (Al2O3, WO3, and SiO2-Al2O3) lead to the consumption of the reactant, i.e., the H2-N2 mixed gas. No ammonia was isolated. Metal catalysts showed higher activity than the above basic oxides. They have, however, different activities. The reaction was faster over the active materials than over sodium chloride (NaCl) or glass wool or in a blank reactor without any catalyst.  相似文献

Thermal analysis (TG and DTA) was employed for the characterization of V2O5/TiO2 catalysts supported on high surface area TiO2. The results obtained are consistent with a uniform spreading of vanadium oxide on TiO2 surface for V2O5 content less than 15% by weight.The presence of V2O5 on the surface of TiO2 affects the anatase-rutile phase transition lowering the temperature at which it occurs.DTA measurements, performed on catalysts after many months from the preparation, show the appearance of an exothermic peak in the range 280°–340°C. This signal has been related to the oxidation of V(IV) to V(V) on the catalyst surface.Catalysts characterization, performed by chemical analysis and FT-IR spectroscopy, has confirmed this interpretation.It has been suggested that a slow modification of the catalyst occurs, leading to an increase of the V(IV) content during the time.
Zusammenfassung Zur Charakterisierung von V2O5/TiO2-Katalysatoren auf hochoberflächigem TiO2 Trägermaterial wurde die Thermoanalyse (TG und DTA) angewendet. Für einen V2O5-Gehalt von weniger als 15 Gew.% entsprechen die erhaltenen Ergebnisse einer gleichmäßigen Verteilung des Vanadiumoxides an der TiO2-Oberfläche.Die Gegenwart von V2O5 an der Oberfläche von TiO2 beeinflußt die Anatas-Rutil-Phasenumwandlung, indem sie die zugehörige Temperatur verringert.DTA-Messungen an Katalysatoren mehrere Monate nach ihrer Herstellung zeigten das Auftreten eines exothermen Peaks im Bereich 280°–340°C. Dieses Signal wurde der Oxidation von V(IV) zu V(V) an der Katalysatoroberfläche zugeschrieben.Diese Interpretation konnte durch eine Charakterisierung des Katalysatoren durch chemische Analyse und FT-IR-Spektroskopie bestätigt werden.Es wurde angedeutet, daß der Katalysator mit der Zeit einer langsamen Modifikation unterliegt, die zu einem Ansteigen des V(IV)-Gehaltes führt.

As supported PtxNi1–x catalysts are used for hydrogenation reactions, it seemed necessary to assess the surface composition of the reduced samples. To approach the usual reduction conditions we applied in situ reduction in a reaction chamber (1 mbar H2 up to 500 °C) placed in ultra high vacuum recipient (UHV: 10–9 to 2.10–10mbar). All ion scattering spectroscopy measurements were performed in UHV. Charging of the samples was avoided by electron bombardment (5 eV). The variation of the surface composition was determined after subsequent sputtering, thermal treatment at 500 °C and during oxygen adsorption. A comparison with previous results of surface compositions of binary alloys (polycrystalline foils [1, 2] and single crystals PtxNi1–x [3]) is given.Dedicated to Professor Dr. rer. nat. Dr. h. c. 以柠檬酸络合法制备了CuCrO2、CuAlO2和CuFeO2等具有铜铁矿结构的ABO2型复合氧化物,并考察了它们在氧化和还原气氛中对CO NO反应的影响. CuAlO2和CuCrO2具有好的催化活性, CuCrO2更具有相当的稳定性,经过氧化和还原条件下的CO NO反应后,体相组成仍然保持不变. CuAlO2在还原条件下,部分被还原生成了零价铜. CuFeO2的催化活性和稳定性较差,在还原气氛中催化CO NO反应过程中,样品被还原,完全转化成了Cu0和CuFe2O4.  相似文献

TPD, XPS IR methods were used to study how the composition of mixed Pt and Pd contacts over Al2O3 affects the nature of SO2 complexes formed in the presence of O2. Two types of sulfates of different structure and binding strength are formed in SO2 oxidation by oxygen over Pt and Pd contacts. Introducing elements such as Co and Cr into the composition, one can significantly reduce the formation of weakly binding sulfate-1 as well as sulfate-2 too.  相似文献

A comparative study on Au/TiO2catalysts prepared by impregnation with HAuCl4of commercial TiO2 or by impregnation of sol-gel derived TiO2has been carried out during CO oxidation. Specific surface areas and mean Au particle of 49 and 74 m2/g and 35 and 25 Å were obtained for impregnated commercial TiO2 and sol-gel preparations, respectively. XRD patterns shown that in sol-gel derived TiO2 only anatase phase was identified, while in commercial TiO2 anatase and rutile phases co-exist. Titania support effect on Au activity for the oxidation of CO has been observed. The light-off during the reaction on Au/TiO2initiates at 50°C, whereas for commercial impregnated TiO2 catalyst the light-off initiates at 200°C.  相似文献

The influence of Pt loading on the metal dispersity and catalytic activity of Pt catalysts on SiO2−AlPO4 in the dehydrogenation of cyclohexane to benzene has been analyzed. Kinetic parameters and apparent reaction rate constants were determined by the Bassett-Habgood equation. Thermodynamic parameters for the reaction were determined.  相似文献
