The crystal structure of the double salt CoCl2·MgCl2·8H2O has been determined by the X-ray diffraction method. It crystallizes in the space group with a=6.0976(9), b=6.308(1), c=8.579(3) Å, α=81.99(2)°, β=88.40°, γ=84.61(1)°, Z=1, and R=0.027. The crystal consists of two kinds of well separated octahedra, [CoCl4(H2O)2]2− and [Mg(H2O)6]2+. The former is unique as aquachloro complexes of Co2+. In order to elucidate the reason prepared as such unique complexes in the double salts, formation energies for [MCl4(H2O)2]2− and [M(H2O)6]2+ (M=Co, Mg) have been calculated by using the density functional methods, and it has been revealed that the formation energies of the first coordination sphere for the metal ions and the Cl?H2O hydrogen bond networks around [CoCl4(H2O)2]2− play a decisive role in forming [CoCl4(H2O)2]2− with the regular octahedral geometry in the double salt.  相似文献

A novel compound, [HN(C2H4)3N][(VO)2(HPO3)2(OH)(H2O)]·H2O, was hydrothermally synthesized and characterized by single crystal X-ray diffraction. This compound crystallizes in the monoclinic system with the space group C2/c and cell parameters a=11.0753(3) Å, b=17.8265(6) Å, c=16.5229(5) Å, and β=92.362(2)°. The structure of the compound consists of vanadium phosphite layers which are built up from the infinite one-dimensional chains of [(VO)(H2O)(HPO3)2]2− of octahedral VO5(H2O) and pseudo pyramidal [HPO3], and bridging binuclear fragments of [VO(OH)]2. Thermogravimetric analysis and magnetic susceptibility data for this compound are given.  相似文献

The compound [Zn(H2O)4]2[H2As6V15O42(H2O)]·2H2O (1) has been synthesized and characterized by elemental analysis, IR, ESR, magnetic measurement, third-order nonlinear property study and single crystal X-ray diffraction analysis. The compound 1 crystallizes in trigonal space group R3, a=b=12.0601(17) Å, c=33.970(7) Å, γ=120°, V=4278.8(12) Å3, Z=3 and R1(wR2)=0.0512 (0.1171). The crystal structure is constructed from [H2As6V15O42(H2O)]4− anions and [Zn(H2O)4]2+ cations linked through hydrogen bonds into a network. The [H2As6V15O42(H2O)]6− cluster consists of 15 VO5 square pyramids linked by three As2O5 handle-like units.  相似文献

The hydrothermal reactions of vanadium oxide starting materials with divalent transition metal cations in the presence of nitrogen donor chelating ligands yield the bimetallic cluster complexes with the formulae [{Cd(phen2)2V4O12]·5H2O (1) and [Ni(phen)3]2[V4O12]·17.5H2O (2). Crystal data: C48H52Cd2N8O22V4 (1), triclinic. a=10.3366(10), b=11.320(3), c=13.268(3) Å, =103.888(17)°, β=92.256(15)°, γ=107.444(14)°, Z=1; C72H131N12Ni2O29.5V4 (2), triclinic. a=12.305(3), b=13.172(6), c=15.133(4), =79.05(3)°, β=76.09(2)°, γ=74.66(3)°, Z=1. Data were collected on a Siemens P4 four-circle diffractometer at 293 K in the range 1.59° <θ<26.02° and 2.01°<θ<25.01° using the ω-scan technique, respectively. The structure of 1 consists of a [V4O12]4− cluster covalently attached to two {Cd(phen)2}2+ fragments, in which the [V4O12]4− cluster adopts a chair-like configuration. In the structure of 2, the [V4O12]4− cluster is isolated. And the complex formed a layer structure via hydrogen bonds between the [V4O12]4− unit and crystallization water molecules.  相似文献

Three new hydrated scandium selenites have been hydrothermally synthesized as single crystals and structurally and physically characterized. Sc2(SeO3)3·H2O crystallizes as a new structure type containing novel ScO7 pentagonal bipyramidal and ScO6+1 capped octahedral coordination polyhedra. Sc2(SeO3)3·3H2O contains typical ScO6 octahedra and is isostructural with its M2(SeO3)3·3H2O (M=Al, Cr, Fe, Ga) congeners. CsSc3(SeO3)4(HSeO3)2·2H2O contains near-regular ScO6 octahedra and has essentially the same structure as its indium-containing analogue. All three phases contain the expected pyramidal [SeO3]2- selenite groups. A new vanadium(III) phosphite, (C4H8N2H4)0.5(C4H8N2H3)[V4(HPO3)7(H2O)3]1.5H2O, has been synthesized hydrothermally by using V2O5, H3PO3 as reactants, piperazine as the structure-directing agent. The as-synthesized product was characterized by powder X-ray diffraction, IR spectroscopy, inductively coupled plasma analysis, thermogravimetric analysis, and SQUID magnetometer. Single-crystal X-ray diffraction analysis shows that the title compound crystallized in the trigonal space group (No. 165) with the parameters: , , and Z=4. Its structure is built up by alternation of octahedral VO6 or VO5(H2O) and pseudo-pyramidal HPO3 units to form infinite 2D layers, and these layers are interconnected by sharing vertex-oxygen with octahedral VO6 units to generate a 3D open-framework structure with 12-membered ring channels in a and b directions, respectively, where there exist entrapped diprotonated and mono-protonated piperazine cations, and water molecules. Magnetic measurement indicates that paramagnetic behavior is observed down to 4 K.  相似文献

The organic-inorganic hybrid materials vanadium oxide [VIVO2(phen)2]·6H2O (1) and [(2,2′-bipy)2VVO2](H2BO3)·3H2O (2) have been conventional and hydrothermal synthesized and characterized by single crystal X-ray diffraction, elemental analyses, respectively. Although the method and the ligand had been used in the syntheses of the compounds (1) and (2) are different, they almost possess similar structure. They all exhibit the distorted octahedral [VO2N4] unit with organonitrogen donors of the phen and 2,2′-bipy ligands, respectively, which coordinated directly to the vanadium oxide framework. And they are both non-mixed-valence complexes. But the compound (1) is isolated, and the compound (2) consists of a cation of [(2,2′-bipy)2VVO2]+ and an anion of (H2BO3). So the valence of vanadium of (1) and (2) are tetravalence and pentavalence, respectively. Meanwhile it is noteworthy that π-π stacking interaction between adjacent phen and 2,2′-bipy groups in compounds 1 and 2 also play a significant role in stabilization of the structure. Thus, the structure of [VIVO2(phen)2]·6H2O and [(2,2′-bipy)2VVO2](H2BO3)·3H2O are both further extended into interesting three-dimensional supramolecular. Crystal data: (1) Triclinic, a=8.481(4), b=12.097(5), and α=66.32(2), β=82.97(3), and γ=82.59(4)°, Z=2, R1=0.0685, wR2=0.1522. A novel compound, [Co(phen)3][V10O26]·H2O, was hydrothermally synthesized and characterized by single-crystal X-ray diffraction. This compound crystallizes in the orthorhombic space group Ccca with a=13.447(3), b=29.936(6), c=23.252(5) Å, V=9360(3) Å3, Z=8 and R=0.0285. Data were collected on a Rigaku R-AXIS RAPID IP diffractometer at 293 K in the range of 1.36<θ<24.99°. The structure of the compound consists of vanadium oxide layers, which are built up from the infinite VO4 chains by corners and edges sharing. The [Co(phen)3]2+ complexes occupy the interlayer space and contact each other via ππ stacking interactions of the phen groups to form infinite one-dimensional chains.  相似文献

By hydrothermal method, a novel supramolecular compound, Co(NIA)2(H2O)4 was synthesized and its structure was characterized with elemental analysis, FT-IR spectrum, TGA and X-ray diffractometer, indicating that it is a novel polyporous supramolecule with molecular ladder hydrogen-bonded chains. Two new cobalt phosphites, (H3NC6H4NH3)Co(HPO3)2 (1) and (NH4)2Co2(HPO3)3 (2), have been synthesized and characterized by single-crystal X-ray diffraction. All the cobalt atoms of 1 are in tetrahedral CoO4 coordination. The structure of 1 comprises twisted square chains of four-rings, which contain alternating vertex-shared CoO4 tetrahedra and HPO3 groups. These chains are interlinked with trans-1,4-diaminocyclohexane cations by hydrogen bonds. The 2-D structure of 2 comprises anionic complex sheets with ammonium cations present between them. An anionic complex sheet contains three-deck phosphite units, which are interconnected by Co2O9 to form complex layers. Magnetic susceptibility measurements of 1 and 2 showed that they have a weak antiferromagnetic interaction.  相似文献

A novel three-dimensional (3D) transition metal selenite Fe3(H2O)(SeO3)3 (1) has been hydrothermally synthesized and characterized by the elemental analyses, IR spectrum, TG analysis and the single-crystal X-ray diffraction. Compound 1 crystallizes in the triclinic system, space group , with a=8.0916(16) Å, b=8.2089(16) Å, c=8.5679(17) Å, α=69.21(3)°, β=62.74(3)°, γ=67.16(3)°, Z=2, and R1[I>2σ(I)]=0.0379. Compound 1 exhibits an interesting 3D framework formed by {FeO6} octahedra and {SeO3} trigonal pyramids via the corner- and/or edge-sharing mode. Furthermore, compound 1 consists of left-handed and right-handed helical chains, which are further entangled to form the double helical chains.  相似文献

[Co(η2-CO3)(NH3)4](NO3)·0.5H2O and [(NH3)3Co(μ-OH)2(μ-CO3)Co(NH3)3][NO3]2·H2O were prepared by prolonged aerial oxidation of a solution of Co(NO3)2·6H2O and ammonium carbonate in aqueous ammonia. The formation of these side products highlights the richness of the chemistry of these systems and the possibility of by products if methods are not strictly adhered to. The X-ray crystal structures of [Co(η2-CO3)(NH3)4][NO3]·0.5H2O and [(NH3)3Co(μ-OH)2(μ-CO3)Co(NH3)3][NO3]2·H2O reveal a monomeric octahedral cobalt center with η2-bound CO32− in the former, while the latter consists of a dimeric array where the two cobalt centers are bridged by two OH and one μ2-CO32− groups with three terminal NH3 ligands for each Co center. In both complexes extensive hydrogen bonding interactions are evident.  相似文献

Two novel vanadium selenites {[VO(OH)(H2O)](SeO3)}4·2H2O 1 and (H3NCH2CH2NH3)[(VO)(SeO3)2] 2 were synthesized by hydrothermal method and their crystal structures were determined by single-crystal X-ray diffraction. It is characterized by inductively coupled plasma (ICP), thermogravimetric (TG) and elemental analyses. Compound 1 crystallizes in the monoclinic system, space group C2/c, a=21.2250(11) Å, b=12.6309(6) Å, c=17.0249(10) Å, β=96.830(3)°, V=4531.8(4) Å3 and Z=8, R1 [I>2σ(I)]=0.0344, wR2 [I>2σ(I)]=0.119; Compound 2 crystallizes in the monoclinic system, space group P21/c, a=9.6389(4) Å, b=6.9922(3) Å, c=15.0324(5) Å, β=102.297(2)°, V=989.90(7) Å3 and Z=4, R1 [I>2σ(I)]=0.0452, wR2 [I>2σ(I)]=0.117. {[VO(OH)(H2O)](SeO3)}4·2H2O has a 1D structure constructed from the {[VO(OH)(H2O)](SeO3)} chains. The first organically templated layered structure of scandium sulfate, (H2en)Sc2(SO4)4·(H2O)0.72, (en=ethylenediamine) was synthesized by a hydrothermal method and characterized by single crystal X-ray diffraction. In the title compound, scandium ions are bridged by sulfate groups with a ratio of 1:2 into a 436 layer structure. These layers are parallel packed and separated from each other by ethylenediammonium dications and water molecules. The title compound crystallizes in the monoclinic space group P2/c, with cell parameters , , , β=91.210(3)°, and Z=2. Refinement gave R1[I>2σ(I)]=0.0354 and wR2[I>2σ(I)]=0.0878. Thermogravimetric analysis indicates that this material is thermally stable to above 400 °C.  相似文献

Several complexes of 2-(indazol-1-yl)-2-thiazoline (TnInA) with the divalent ions Co and Zn have been synthesized by the direct combination of the ligand and the metal chloride or nitrate hydrated salts in ethanol. These complexes have been characterized by a variety of physical–chemical techniques. Moreover, the structures of [CoCl2(TnInA)2] · C2H6O (1) and [(M)(TnInA)2(H2O)2](NO3)2 (M = Co, 3; Zn, 4) were determined by single-crystal X-ray diffraction. In all the complexes, the ligand TnInA bonds to the metal ion through the indazole and thiazoline nitrogen atoms. In complex 1 the environment around the cobalt ion may be described as a distorted octahedron with two TnInA ligands and two chlorine ligands. Compounds 3 and 4 are isostructural with a distorted octahedral geometry around the metal center, being linked to two water molecules and two TnInA ligands. However, in complex [ZnCl2(TnInA)] (2) the zinc atom is four-coordinated with a probable tetrahedral environment with two chloro ligands and one TnInA ligand bonded to the metal ion.  相似文献

A novel three-dimensional metal selenite [Fe2(H2O)4(SeO3)2] (1) has been hydrothermally synthesized and characterized by the elemental analyses, IR spectrum, TG analysis and the single crystal X-ray diffraction. Compound 1 crystallizes in the monoclinic system, space group P21/n, with a=6.5283(13) Å, b=8.8754(18) Å, c=7.6798(15) Å, (=98.82(3)β, V=439.71(15) Å3, and Z=2. Compounds 1 exhibits interesting three-dimensional structure constructed from {FeO6} octahedra and {SeO3} pyramids linked via the corner- and/or edge-sharing mode. A nickel diphosphate with mixed cations, Na(NH4)[Ni3(P2O7)2(H2O)2] with a layered structure has been synthesized under hydrothermal conditions for the first time and characterized by single crystal X-ray diffraction, IR spectroscope and magnetization measurements. The structure consists of cis- and trans-edge sharing NiO6 octahedral chains linked via P2O7 units to [Ni3P4O16]2− layers. The ammonium and sodium cations are alternately located in the interlayer spaces. The mixed cations play an important role in the structural formation of this layered compound, leading to a new layer-stacking variant. The magnetic susceptibility obeys a Curie–Weiss law with μeff of 3.32 μB, showing the Ni2+ character and weak antiferromagnetic interactions.  相似文献

The hydrothermal syntheses, single crystal structures, and some properties of Ba2MnIIMn2III(SeO3)6 and PbFe2(SeO3)4 are reported. These related phases contain three-dimensional frameworks of vertex (FeO6) and vertex/edge linked (MnO6) octahedra and SeO3 pyramids. In each case, the MO6/SeO3 framework encloses two types of 8 ring channels, one of which encapsulates the extra-framework cations and one of which provides space for the SeIV lone pairs. The compound (enH2)3.5[As8V14O42(PO4)]·2H2O 1 (en=ethylenediamine) has been synthesized and characterized by means of elemental analysis, IR spectrum, ESR spectrum, XPS spectrum, TG analysis and single crystal X-ray diffraction analysis. The compound 1 crystallizes in monoclinic system, space group C2/c, β=105.59(3), Z=8 and R1(wR2)=0.0398(0.0885). The compound 1 is constructed from [As8V14O42(PO4)]7− anions and H2en cations linked through hydrogen bonds into a network. The [As8V14O42(PO4)]7− cluster consists of 14 VO5 square pyramids linked by 4 As2O5 handle-like units, and includes at its center an ordered PO43− anion.  相似文献
