A novel method has been developed for the extraction of Pd/II/ with 1,2,3-benzotriazole /1,2,3-BT/ into methyl isobutyl ketone /MIBK/ at a pH of 4.0. The effects of pH, time of equilibration, solvent, anions and cations on the extraction coefficient have been evaluated. The stoichiometry of the extracted species of 12 was obtained by the slope ratio method and by the method of substoichiometric extraction. Separation factors and decontamination factors for a number of elements in the extraction of Pd/II/ were also obtained.  相似文献

1,2,3-Benzotriazole /1,2,3-BT/ has been used for the radiochemical separation of Mn/II/ employing solvent extraction technique. Based on various parameters such as pH effect, time of equilibration and effect of various solvents, etc. the ideal conditions for the extraction of Mn/II/ was evaluated. The stoichiometry of the metal to reagent was determined by the substoichiometric extraction and slope-ratio method and found to be 12. The effect of anions on the extraction value of Mn/II/ revealed that a large number of anions do not interfere. Aqueous 1,2,3-benzotriazole/1,2,3-BT/ has been used for the extraction of Au/III/ from acidic medium into n-butanol. The extraction of Au/III/ was found to be better than 98% over the pH range 2.0–7.0 and an equilibration time of 2.0 min. The extraction coefficient value of Ru/III/ between 1-pentanol and an aqueous 5% solution of 1,2,3-BT in 2M sodium acetate-acetic acid buffer showed a maximum value of E=46 at pH 4.5. The separation factor for many elements was found to be at least greater than 104. A new dispersive liquid-liquid microextraction (DLLME) method for preconcentration of trace quantities of Fe(II) and Cu(II) followed by their spectrophotometric determination has been developed. For the extraction, an appropriate mixture of ethanol (the disperser solvent) and carbon tetrachloride (the extraction solvent) was injected rapidly into the water sample containing Fe(II) and Cu(II) after formation of complexes with diethyldithiocarbamate. Mean centering (MC) of ratio spectra has been used for simultaneous determination of Fe(II) and Cu(II). Linear range of the method is 1.0–100 ng/mL for Fe(II) and 0.3–100 ng/mL for Cu(II), the detection limit is 0.53 ng/mL and 0.14 ng/mL Cu(II), resp. The interference effect of some anions and cations is reported. The method was applied to the determination of Fe(II) and Cu(II) in well water samples.  相似文献

The extraction of cobalt/II/ from ammonium chloride-ammonium hydroxide buffer solutions of pH 6.5 by 2,4-dihydroxyacetophenone thiosemicarbazone /DATS/ in n-butanol has been studied. Cobalt/II/ forms 11 complex /metal:reagent/ with DATS. Addition of pyridine enhances the extraction. Three acyclic polythioethers containing 2-thienyl units at both ends were synthesized and the effect of substituent on the extraction of copper(II) was studied. The methyl groups in the terminal thiophene ring have imparted an appreciable degree of increase in the percent extraction of copper(II), while the introduction of chlorine atoms into the 2-thienyl unit resulted in the reverse effect. Among the counter dye anions examined, tetrabromophenolphthalein ethylester was the best one for copper(II) extraction. The composition of extracted species was evaluated to be 122 (Cu(II)/polythioether/dye anion). Quantitative extraction of copper(I) was attained as complexes with various triphenylmethane dyes, i.e., bromocresol green, bromothymol blue, bromo-phenol blue and pyrogallol red. Copper(I) in organic phase was completely back-extracted with 2 mole/l sulfuric acid containing 10% hydrogen peroxide.  相似文献

The extraction coefficient /E/ of Mn/II/ between CHCl3 and aqueous solution containing 0.2M NH4Cl shows a maximum value of E=143 at pH 10.5. The percentage extraction is better than 98% in the pH range from 9 to 11 and an equilibration time of 6 min. The effects of anions and cations have been studied. The stoichiometry of metal: reagent determined by substoichiometric extraction and slope ratio method is found to be 12.
