The paper is concerned with time-asymptotic behavior of solution near a local Maxwellian with rarefaction wave to a fluid-particle model described by the Vlasov-Fokker-Planck equation coupled with the compressible and inviscid fluid by Euler-Poisson equations through the relaxation drag frictions, Vlasov forces between the macroscopic and microscopic momentums and the electrostatic potential forces. Precisely, based on a new micro-macro decomposition around the local Maxwellian to the kinetic part of the fluid-particle coupled system, which was first developed in [16], we show the time-asymptotically nonlinear stability of rarefaction wave to the one-dimensional compressible inviscid Euler equations coupled with both the Vlasov-Fokker-Planck equation and Poisson equation.  相似文献

The paper is devoted to investigating long time behavior of smooth small data solutions to 3-D quasilinear wave equations outside of compact convex obstacles with Neumann boundary conditions. Concretely speaking, when the surface of a 3-D compact convex obstacle is smooth and the quasilinear wave equation fulfills the null condition, we prove that the smooth small data solution exists globally provided that the Neumann boundary condition on the exterior domain is given. One of the main ingredients in the current paper is the establishment of local energy decay estimates of the solution itself. As an application of the main result, the global stability to 3-D static compressible Chaplygin gases in exterior domain is shown under the initial irrotational perturbation with small amplitude.  相似文献

In this paper, we investigate a multidimensional nonisentropic hydrodynamic (Euler-Poisson) model for semiconductors. We study the convergence of the nonisentropic Euler-Poisson equation to the incompressible nonisentropic Euler type equation via the quasi-neutral limit. The local existence of smooth solutions to the limit equations is proved by an iterative scheme. The method of asymptotic expansion and energy methods are used to rigorously justify the convergence of the limit.  相似文献

In this paper, we investigate initial value problems for hyperbolic mean curvature flow with a dissipative term. By means of support functions of a convex curve, a hyperbolic Monge-Amp`ere equation is derived, and this equation could be reduced to the first order quasilinear systems in Riemann invariants. Using the theory of the local solutions of Cauchy problems for quasilinear hyperbolic systems, we discuss lower bounds on life-span of classical solutions to Cauchy problems for dissipative hyperbolic mean curvature flow.  相似文献
