In models with vector-like quark doublets, the mass matrices of up and down type quarks are related.Precise diagonalization of the mass matrices has become an obstacle in numerical studies. In this work we first propose a diagonalization method. As its application, in the Standard Model with one vector-like quark doublet we present the quark mass spectrum and Feynman rules for the calculation of B → X_sγ. We find that i) under the constraints of the CKM matrix measurements, the mass parameters in the bilinear term are constrained to a small value by the small deviation from unitarity; ii) compared with the fourth generation extension of the Standard Model, there is an enhancement to the B → X_sγ process in the contribution of vector-like quarks, resulting in a non-decoupling effect in such models.  相似文献

This work deals with Bäcklund transformations for the principal SL(n, ) sigma model together with all reduced models with values in Riemannian symmetric spaces. First, the dressing method of Zakharov, Mikhailov, and Shabat is shown, for the case of a meromorphic dressing matrix, to be equivalent to a Bäcklund transformation for an associated, linearly extended system. Comparison of this multi-Bäcklund transformation with the composition of ordinary ones leads to a new proof of the permutability theorem. A new method of solution for such multi-Bäcklund transformations (MBT) is developed, by the introduction of a soliton correlation matrix which satisfies a Riccati system equivalent to the MBT. Using the geometric structure of this system, a linearization is achieved, leading to a nonlinear superposition formula expressing the solution explicitly in terms of solutions of a single Bäcklund transformation through purely linear algebraic relations. A systematic study of all reductions of the system by involutive automorphisms is made, thereby defining the multi-Bäcklund transformations and their solution for all Riemannian symmetric spaces.Supported in part by the Natural Sciences and Engineering Research Council of Canada, and by the Fonds FCAC pour l'aide et le soutien à la recherche  相似文献

We derive the general expressions for the differential cross section and final state polarization ine + e ?→γ,Z 1 0 ,Z 2 0 , ...→ff (f: leptons and quarks) with several neutral bosons and with polarized beams. From this also the jet axis distributions ine + e ? → 2 jets are obtained. The general formulas are applied to the standard model and extended gauge models of electroweak interactions with one neutral boson lighter than the standard modelZ 0. The models differ from each other in the coefficients of angular distributions at energies around the firstZ 0 resonance and beyond. Observable effects are expected in certain models already at energies up to 60 GeV if the firstZ 0 is not too heavy.  相似文献

An analytical relationship is found between triple correlations and nearest neighbor pair correlations in an A y B 1 ? y solid solution with a planar hexagonal lattice (plane group p6mm). The range of variations in the triple correlation is determined as a function of the composition of the A y B 1 ? y solid solution and the value of the pair correlation. It is assumed that periodically ordered planar hexagonal and square island nanostructures can be considered as solid solutions A 1/43/4 with vacancy sites □ and sites occupied by nanoparticles A. In this case, an ordered distribution of nanoparticles over the planar-lattice sites occurs because the nearest neighbor pair correlation is negative and has a maximum magnitude.  相似文献

We study the quantum discord of the bipartite Heisenberg model with the Dzyaloshinski-Moriya (DM) interaction in thermal equilibrium state and discuss the effect of the DM interaction on the quantum discord. The quantum entanglement of the system is also discussed and compared with quantum discord. Our results show that the quantum discord may reveal more properties of the system than quantum entanglement and the DM interaction may play an important role in the Heisenberg model.  相似文献

The W-boson pair production in ee collisions with polarized beams is investigated. The helicity amplitudes are derived for general couplings and the conditions for a good high-energy behaviour of the cross-section are given. The results are applied to the heavy vector boson production in the context of the left-right symmetric model. The Ward identities and the equivalence theorem are also discussed.  相似文献

In this work, we study the quantum steering in two-qubit Heisenberg models with Dzyaloshinskii–Moriya(DM)interaction and an external magnetic field. We find that the steerable weight(SW) and the critical temperature where SW → 0 can be enhanced by the DM interactions. In the special case where the magnetic field is vanishing and the two spins are ferromagnetically coupled, the DM interaction can tune the zero-temperature SW from zero to a finite value. In addition to the SW, some other measurements used to identify the quantum entanglement and quantum correlations are investigated, i.e., the concurrence, the quantum discord, and the robustness of coherence. In the strong magnetic field limit,our results show that the SW is dramatically different from the other measurements.  相似文献

We implement the seesaw mechanism in the 3-3-1 model with right-handed neutrinos. This will be accomplished by the introduction of a scalar sextet into the model and the spontaneous violation of lepton number. The main result of this work is that the seesaw mechanism can work already at the TeV scale with the consequence that the right-handed neutrino masses lie in the electroweak scale, in the range from MeV to tens of GeV. This window provides a great opportunity to test their appearance at current detectors, though when we contrast our results with some previous analyses concerning the detection sensitivity at LHC, we conclude that further work is needed in order to validate this search.  相似文献

We use a simple model of distress propagation (the sandpile model) to show how financial systems are naturally subject to the risk of systemic failures. Taking into account possible network structures among financial institutions, we investigate if simple policies can limit financial distress propagation to avoid system-wide crises, i.e. to dampen systemic risk. We therefore compare different immunization policies (i.e. targeted helps to financial institutions) and find that the information coming from the network topology allows to mitigate systemic cascades by targeting just few institutions.  相似文献

We investigate the Ricci Dark Energy (RDE) in the braneworld models with a Gauss–Bonnet term in the Bulk. We analytically solve the generalized Friedmann equation on the brane and find that the universe will finally enter into a pure de Sitter spacetime in stead of the big rip that appears in the usual 4D Ricci dark energy model with parameter α<1/2α<1/2. We also consider the Hubble horizon as the IR cutoff in holographic dark energy model and find it cannot accelerate the universe as in the usual case without interacting.  相似文献
