This paper presents a Fractional Derivative Approach for thermal analysis of disk brakes. In this research, the problem is idealized as one-dimensional. The formulation developed contains fractional semi integral and derivative expressions, which provide an easy approach to compute friction surface temperature and heat flux as functions of time. Given the heat flux, the formulation provides a means to compute the surface temperature, and given the surface temperature, it provides a means to compute surface heat flux. A least square method is presented to smooth out the temperature curve and eliminate/reduce the effect of statistical variations in temperature due to measurement errors. It is shown that the integer power series approach to consider simple polynomials for least square purposes can lead to significant error. In contrast, the polynomials considered here contain fractional power terms. The formulation is extended to account for convective heat loss from the side surfaces. Using a simulated experiment, it is also shown that the present formulation predicts accurate values for the surface heat flux. Results of this study compare well with analytical and experimental results.  相似文献

The concept and application of phase-space reconstructions are reviewed. Fractional derivatives are then proposed for the purpose of reconstructing dynamics from a single observed time history. A procedure is presented in which the fractional derivatives of time series data are obtained in the frequency domain. The method is applied to the Lorenz system. The ability of the method to unfold the data is assessed by the method of global false nearest neighbors. The reconstructed data is used to compute recurrences and correlation dimensions. The reconstruction is compared to the commonly used method of delays in order to assess the choice of reconstruction parameters, and also the quality of results.  相似文献

Ordinary differential equations (ODEs) with fractional order derivatives are infinite dimensional systems and nonlocal in time: the history of the state variable is needed to calculate the instantaneous rate of change. This nonlocal nature leads to expensive long-time computations (O(t 2) computations for solution up to time t). A finite dimensional approximation of the fractional order derivative can alleviate this problem. We present one such approximation using a Galerkin projection. The original infinite dimensional system is replaced with an equivalent infinite dimensional system involving a partial differential equation (PDE). The Galerkin projection reduces the PDE to a finite system of ODEs. These ODEs can be solved cheaply (O(t) computations). The shape functions used for the Galerkin projection are important, and given attention. The approximation obtained is specific to the fractional order of the derivative; but can be used in any system with a derivative of that order. Calculations with both global shape functions as well as finite elements are presented. The discretization strategy is improved in a few steps until, finally, very good performance is obtained over a user-specifiable frequency range (not including zero). In particular, numerical examples are presented showing good performance for frequencies varying over more than 7 orders of magnitude. For any discretization held fixed, however, errors will be significant at sufficiently low or high frequencies. We discuss why such asymptotics may not significantly impact the engineering utility of the method.  相似文献

Fractional time derivatives are used to deduce a generalization ofviscoelastic constitutive equations of differential operator type. Theseso-called fractional constitutive equations result in improvedcurve-fitting properties, especially when experimental data from longtime intervals or spanning several frequency decades need to be fitted.Compared to integer-order time derivative concepts less parameters arerequired. In addition, fractional constitutive equations lead to causalbehavior and the concept of fractional derivatives can be physicallyjustified providing a foundation of fractional constitutive equations.First, three-dimensional fractional constitutive equations based onthe Grünwaldian formulation are derived and their implementationinto an elastic FE code is demonstrated. Then, parameter identificationsfor the fractional 3-parameter model in the time domain as well as inthe frequency domain are carried out and compared to integer-orderderivative constitutive equations. As a result the improved performanceof fractional constitutive equations becomes obvious. Finally, theidentified material model is used to perform an FE time steppinganalysis of a viscoelastic structure.  相似文献

This paper attempts to present an expository review of continued fraction expansion (CFE) based discretization schemes for fractional order differentiators defined in continuous time domain. The schemes reviewed are limited to infinite impulse response (IIR) type generating functions of first and second orders, although high-order IIR type generating functions are possible. For the first-order IIR case, the widely used Tustin operator and Al-Alaoui operator are considered. For the second order IIR case, the generating function is obtained by the stable inversion of the weighted sum of Simpson integration formula and the trapezoidal integration formula, which includes many previous discretization schemes as special cases. Numerical examples and sample codes are included for illustrations.  相似文献

The dynamic behavior of a disc brake subjected to a follower frictional force governed by a constant or random friction coefficient is studied. Under a constant frictional load, the circumferential motion is characterized by a quasi-periodic vibration while the transverse deflection exhibits a periodic motion. The numerical simulation indicates that the response amplitude of the circumferential vibration is larger than that of the transverse vibration. Under random frictional load, both transverse and circumferential displacements are found to be essentially non-Gaussian, non-stationary, and narrow-band processes. The energy of the transverse motion considerably concentrates at a dominant frequency. On the other hand, the spectral density of circumferential motion is mainly distributed at two different frequencies.  相似文献

A fractional derivative model of dissipative effects is combined with a nonlinear elastic model to model the response of polyurethane foam in quasi-static compression tests. A system identification method is developed based on a separation of the elastic and viscoelastic parts of the response, which is possible because of symmetries in the imposed deformation time-history. Simulations are used to evaluate the proposed identification method when noise is present in the response. The system identification technique is also applied with some success to experimental data taken from several compression experiments on two types of polyurethane foam blocks.  相似文献

百万核电汽轮机红套低压转子工作环境的蒸汽参数较低,各级轮盘均处于湿度较大的工作区域,易产生应力腐蚀,引起裂纹萌生和扩展.为提高轮盘的抗腐蚀能力,降低工作应力是一个有效的方法.通过热处理方法,在轮盘表面形成预压应力以抵消部分旋转拉应力是可行的方法,而产生适当深度和大小的预压应力则需对热处理过程进行谨慎的设计.本文以汽轮机轮盘为研究对象,建立轴对称有限元模型,通过对ABAQUS软件的二次开发,实现对轮盘热处理过程的温度场及应力场进行数值模拟.计算综合考虑了非线性的材料热物性参数、力学性能参数、表面换热系数及不同材料组织转变的相变潜热、热物性参数和力学参数,通过对不同热处理方法得到的残余应力场的比较,获得了较合理的水冷方式,为热处理工艺确定提供参考.  相似文献

In path tracking design, the dynamic of actuators must be taken intoaccount in order to reduce overshoots appearing for small displacements.A new approach to path tracking using fractional differentiation isproposed with its application on a XY cutting table. It permits thegeneration of optimal movement reference-input leading to a minimum pathcompletion time, taking into account both maximum velocity, accelerationand torque and the bandwidth of the closed-loop system. Fractionaldifferentiation is used here through a Davidson–Cole filter. Amethodology aiming at improving the accuracy especially on checkpointsis presented. 本文研究粘弹性梁在周期激励作用下的受迫振动问题。梁的材料满足Kelvin-Volgt分数导数型本构关系。基于动力学方程、本构关系和应变-位移关系建立了小变形粘弹性梁的振动方程。采用分离变量法分析粘弹性梁的自由振动,导出模态坐标满足的常微分-积分方程和模态函数满足的常微分方程,对于两端简支的截面梁给出了固有频率和模态函数。对于简谐激励作用下粘弹性梁的受迫振动,利用模态叠加得到了稳态响应。最后给出数值算例说明本文方法的应用。  相似文献

The fractional calculus approach is introduced into the seepage mechanics. A three-dimensional relaxation model of viscoelastic fluid is built. The models based on four boundary conditions of exact solution in Laplace space for some unsteady flows in an infinite reservoir is obtained by using the Laplace transform and Fourier sine and cosine integral transform. The pressure transient behavior of non-Newtonian viscoelastic fluid is studied by using Stehfest method of the numerical Laplace transform inversion and Gauss–Laguerre numerical integral formulae. The viscoelastic fluid is very sensitive to the order of the fractional derivative. The change rules of pressure are discussed when the parameters of the models change. The plots of type pressure curves are given, and the results can be provided to theoretical basis and well-test method for oil field.  相似文献

阻旋栅可改变密封进口流体周向流动与进口预旋,是提高系统稳定性的主要方法之一.本文作者应用计算流体力学方法研究了阻旋栅几何参数对梳齿密封动静特性的影响,计算分析了阻旋栅在不同长度、间隙、周向个数及不同进口预旋比下密封流场分布与动力特性系数,并与无阻旋栅梳齿密封进行对比.研究表明:阻旋栅能够有效抑制密封进口周向流动、降低密封腔室周向压力;随着阻旋栅周向个数与阻旋栅间隙的减小,其抑制效果增强,阻旋栅长度的增加对周向速度影响则越来越小;提高预旋比将使密封内流体周向速度增加.与传统梳齿密封相比,具有阻旋栅的梳齿密封直接阻尼增加,交叉刚度降低,进而有效阻尼提高.阻旋栅间隙s=0.20 mm、长度l=3.25 mm、数量n=90时密封有效阻尼较大,系统稳定性最好.  相似文献

In this paper, we study the local behaviors of nonnegative local solutions of fractional order semi-linear equations ${(-\Delta )^\sigma u=u^{\frac{n+2\sigma}{n-2\sigma}}}$ with an isolated singularity, where ${\sigma\in (0,1)}$ . We prove that all the solutions are asymptotically radially symmetric. When σ = 1, these have been proved by Caffarelli et al. (Comm Pure Appl Math 42:271–297, 1989).  相似文献

本文在中心裂纹圆盘应力强度因子解析解的基础上,利用一阶微分法则,给出了与裂纹相对长度和加载角相关的应力强度因子(K 和K )的4个误差传递函数。这4个误差传递函数关于裂纹相对长度和加载角均是非线性的,它们既是误差分析的基础,又是合理确定裂纹相对长度和加载角的基础。分析结果表明,加载角的误差Δθ除了对纯 型K 的误差几乎没有影响,对纯 型K 影响较小外,对复合型K 、K 的误差均有较大影响。最后,本文建议裂纹相对长度的取值范围为0.4~0.6;还建议在复合型断裂试验时,必须依据对K 、K 的总体精度要求来严格控制加载角的精度。  相似文献
