In this Note we correct some results in Lu, Symplectic capacities of toric manifolds and combinatorial inequalities [C. R. Acad. Sci. Paris, Ser. Procédé de mesure par interferométrie optique avec compensation des variations d'indice de l'air

Zusammenfassung Die Funktionsweise eines Einspiegelinterferometers wird erklärt. Es wird gezeigt, wie man auf einfache Art eine von der Umgebung abhängige Wellenlängenänderung kompensieren kann, so dass die interferometrische Längenmessung unverändert bleibt. Die praktischen Daten sowie die Resultate der Messungen werden angegeben. Es wurde eine absolute Genauigkeit von ±0,03 bei Längenmessungen bis 20 cm erreicht (relative Genauigkeit ±2·10^–7).     

Symmetric Powers of Nat 𝔰𝔩2(𝕂)

We identify the spaces of homogeneous polynomials in two variables 𝕂[Y^k, XY^k?1, ?, X^k] among representations of the Lie ring 𝔰𝔩₂(𝕂). This amounts to constructing a compatible 𝕂-linear structure on some abstract 𝔰𝔩₂(𝕂)-modules, where 𝔰𝔩₂(𝕂) is viewed as a Lie ring.     

Remark on ``A problem of prescribing Gaussian curvature on " [Proc. Amer. Math. Soc. 129 (2001), no. 12, 3757-3758]

In this note, we remark on a 2001 paper of S. Goyal and V. Goyal. The main result of this work is that they used some elementary method to find a class of functions for which the solutions to

on can be obtained. We observe that this class of functions that they studied is actually the trivial one, i.e. the class of positive constant functions.
