Abstract

The paper generalizes some of our previous results on quasi-hereditary Koszul algebras to graded standardly stratified Koszul algebras. The main result states that the class of standardly stratified algebras for which the left standard modules as well as the right proper standard modules possess a linear projective resolution – the so called linearly stratified algebras – is closed under forming their Yoneda extension algebras. This is proved using the technique of Hilbert and Poincaré series of the corresponding modules.

The class of cellularly stratified algebras is defined and shown to include large classes of diagram algebras. While the definition is in combinatorial terms, by adding extra structure to Graham and Lehrer’s definition of cellular algebras, various structural properties are established in terms of exact functors and stratifications of derived categories. The stratifications relate ‘large’ algebras such as Brauer algebras to ‘smaller’ ones such as group algebras of symmetric groups. Among the applications are relative equivalences of categories extending those found by Hemmer and Nakano and by Hartmann and Paget, as well as identities between decomposition numbers and cohomology groups of ‘large’ and ‘small’ algebras.  相似文献

We study the embedding construction of Lie dialgebras (Leibniz algebras) into conformal algebras. This construction leads to the concept of a conformal representation of Leibniz algebras. We prove that each (finite-dimensional) Leibniz algebra possesses a faithful linear representation (of finite type). As a corollary we give a new proof of the Poincaré-Birkhoff-Witt theorem for Leibniz algebras.  相似文献

We introduce the concept of fusion algebras at algebraic level, as a purely algebraic concept for the fusion algebras which appear in conformal field theory in mathematical physics. We first discuss the connection between fusion algebras at algebraic level and character algebras, a purely algebraic concept for Bose-Mesner algebras of association schemes. Through this correspondence, we establish the condition when the matrix S of a fusion algebra at algebraic level is unitary or symmetric. We construct integral fusion algebras at algebraic level, from association schemes, in particular from group association schemes, whose matrix S is unitary and symmetric. Finally, we consider whether the modular invariance property is satisfied or not, namely whether there exists a diagonal matrix T satisfying the condition (ST)3 = S 2. We prove that this property does not hold for some integral fusion algebras at algebraic level coming from the group association scheme of certain groups of order 64, and we also prove that the (nonintegral) fusion algebra at algebraic level obtained from the Hamming association scheme H(d, q) has the modular invariance property.  相似文献

Motivated by comatrix coalgebras, we introduce the concept of a Newtonian comatrix coalgebra. We construct an infinitesimal unitary bialgebra on matrix algebras, via the construction of a suitable coproduct. As a consequence, a Newtonian comatrix coalgebra is established. Furthermore, an infinitesimal unitary Hopf algebra, under the view of Aguiar, is constructed on matrix algebras. By the close relationship between pre-Lie algebras and infinitesimal unitary bialgebras, we erect a pre-Lie algebra and a new Lie algebra on matrix algebras. Finally, a weighted infinitesimal unitary bialgebra on non-commutative polynomial algebras is also given.  相似文献

Liu and Paquette defined a class of artin algebras, more general than the standardly stratified ones, called quasi-stratified algebras. Not only is the Cartan Determinant Conjecture (CDC) true for these algebras, so is its converse. This article shows that this class of algebras is preserved under “pruning” sources and sinks from the left quiver. It compares the classes of quasi-stratified and left serial algebras, as well as quasi-stratified and gentle algebras. Holm has shown that the CDC holds for gentle algebras; the converse is also established. It is shown when a Yamagata family of algebras of large finite global dimension yield quasi-stratified ones and constructs quasi-stratified elementary algebras from smaller ones.  相似文献

The concept of “group-like algebras” was defined by the author as a special class of bF algebras. They generalize scheme rings (Bose–Mesner algebras) of noncommutative association schemes. A Poisson algebra is a Lie algebra endowed with a commutative associative product in such a way that the Lie and associative products are compatible via a Leibniz rule. If we part from a Lie color algebra, instead of a Lie algebra, a graded-commutative associative product and a graded-version Leibniz rule we get a so-called Poisson color algebra (of degree zero). This concept can be extended to any degree, so as to obtain the class of Poisson color algebras of arbitrary degree. This class turns out to be a wide class of algebras containing the ones of Lie color algebras (and so Lie superalgebras and Lie algebras), Poisson algebras, graded Poisson algebras, z-Poisson algebras, Gerstenhaber algebras, and Schouten algebras among other classes of algebras. The present paper is devoted to the study of structure of Poisson color algebras of degree g0, where g0 is some element of the grading group G such that g0 = 0 or 4g0≠0, and with restrictions neither on the dimension nor the base field, by stating a second Wedderburn-type theorem for this class of algebras.  相似文献

We introduce and study the concept of a variety of dialgebras which is closely related to the concept of a variety of conformal algebras: Each dialgebra of a given variety embeds into an appropriate conformal algebra of the same variety. In particular, the Leibniz algebras are exactly Lie dialgebras, and each Leibniz algebra embeds into a conformal Lie algebra.  相似文献

The concept of n-Lie algebra were introduced by Filippov in 1987. One notes that not all properties of Lie algebras can be carried over to n-Lie algebras, as Williams showed in 2009. In the present article, among other results it is shown that the notions of isoclinism and isomorphism for two finite dimensional n-Lie algebras of the same dimension are equivalent. This was already done for ordinary Lie algebras by Moneyhun in 1994.  相似文献

The relation between representations and positive definite functions is a key concept in harmonic analysis on topological groups. Recently this relation has been studied on topological groupoids. This is the first in a series of papers in which we have investigated a similar relation on inverse semigroups. The concept of a composition algebra of the second kind is introduced. We prove that such algebras are non-degenerate monocomposition algebras without unity. A big number of these algebras in any finite dimension are constructed, as well as two algebras in a countable dimension. The constructed algebras each contains a non-isotropic idempotent e2 = e. We describe all orthogonally non-isomorphic composition algebras of the second kind in the following forms: (1) a two-dimensional algebra (which has turned out to be unique); (2) three-dimensional algebras in the constructed series. The class of extended Lie-type algebras contains the ones of associative algebras, Lie algebras, Leibniz algebras, dual Leibniz algebras, pre-Lie algebras, and Lie-type algebras, etc. We focus on the class of extended Lie-type algebras graded by an Abelian group G and study its structure, by stating, under certain conditions, a second Wedderburn-type theorem for this class of algebras.  相似文献
