We describe the construction of a class of toric varieties as spectra of homogeneous prime ideals.      

Poisson Morphisms and Reduced Affine Poisson Group Actions

We establish the concept of a quotient affine Poisson group, and study the reduced Poisson action of the quotient of an affine Poisson group G on the quotient of an affine Poisson-G-variety V. Existence of Indecomposable Rank Two Vector Bundles on Higher Dimensional Toric Varieties

In the mid 1970s, Hartshorne conjectured that, for all n > 7, any rank 2 vector bundles on ? ⁿ is a direct sum of line bundles. This conjecture remains still open. In this paper, we construct indecomposable rank two vector bundles on a large class of Fano toric varieties. Unfortunately, this class does not contain ? ⁿ .     

Riemann-Roch for Quotients and Todd Classes of Simplicial Toric Varieties

Abstract

In this paper we give an explicit formula for the Riemann-Roch map for singular schemes which are quotients of smooth schemes by diagonalizable groups. As an application we obtain a simple proof of a formula for the Todd class of a simplicial toric variety. An equivariant version of this formula was previously obtained for complete simplicial toric varieties by Brion and Vergne (Brion M. and Vergne M. ([1997] Brion, M. and Vergne, M. 1997. An equivariant Riemann-Roch theorem for complete simplicial toric varieties. J. Reine. Agnew. Math., 482: 67–92.  [Google Scholar]). A Counterexample for Subadditivity of Multiplier Ideals on Toric Varieties

We construct a 3-dimensional complete intersection toric variety on which the subadditivity formula doesn't hold, answering negatively a question by Takagi and Watanabe. A combinatorial proof of the subadditivity formula on 2-dimensional normal toric varieties is also provided.     

On Aperiodic Relational Morphisms

We characterize aperiodic relational morphisms as those that are injective on regular $\H$-classes. This result is applied to obtain simple proofs and generalizations of McAlisters results on joins of aperiodic semigroups and groups. Also, we show that if $\pv H$ is a proper, non-trivial pseudovariety of groups, then \[\pv A\ast \pv H\subsetneq (\pv A\ast \pv G)\cap \ov {\pv H}.\] We provide coordinate-free formulations and proofs of Rhodess Presentation Lemma and generalizations. As an application, we give simpler proofs of Tilsons theorem on the complexity of semigroups with at most $2$ non-zero $\J$-classes and Rhodess theorem that complexity is not local.     

Projectivized Rank Two Toric Vector Bundles are Mori Dream Spaces

We prove that the Cox ring of the projectivization P(?) of a rank two toric vector bundle ?, over a toric variety X, is a finitely generated k-algebra. As a consequence, P(?) is a Mori dream space if the toric variety X is projective and simplicial.     

Foliated Manifolds and Conformal Heat Morphisms

The objects under study, in this article, are Riemannian manifoldsfoliated by hypersurfaces. Looking at the transverse direction as time,we construct the generalised heat operator and, in the spirit of atime-space extension of harmonic morphisms, we introduce the conformal heat morphisms. Concrete examples of these concepts arepresented, as well as, a characterisation of conformal heat morphisms.Lastly, we calculate the heat Lie algebra of the generalised heatoperator.     

f-Harmonic Morphisms Between Riemannian Manifolds

f-Harmonic maps were first introduced and studied by Lichnerowicz in 1970. In this paper, the author studies a subclass of f-harmonic maps called f-harmonic morphisms which pull back local harmonic functions to local f-harmonic functions. The author proves that a map between Riemannian manifolds is an f-harmonic morphism if and only if it is a horizontally weakly conformal f-harmonic map. This generalizes the well-known characterization for harmonic morphisms. Some properties and many examples as well as some non-existence of f-harmonic morphisms are given. The author also studies the f-harmonicity of conformal immersions.     

Semiregular Morphisms

If M and N are modules, the concept of semiregularity (and regularity) of hom(M,N) is defined and studied, and the connection with the relative direct injective- and direct projective-properties is established. The relationship of semiregularity to the Jacobson radical of hom(M,N), to the singular and cosingular ideals of hom(M,N), and to the notion of lying over or under a direct summand, is described, and the basic results in the module case are extended.

Morphisms of the Heat Equation

In this article we consider a certain class of mappings between Riemannian manifolds of the type M × R^{+ *}, which preserve two objects associated to the heat equation. First we show that maps which pull back local solutions of the heat equation to local solutions of the heat equation, called heat equation morphisms have to be the product of a homothetic submersion and an affine map of R^{+ *}. Then using the above characterisation, we study maps which pull back the heat kernel to the heat kernel. We call such maps heat kernel morphisms. We show in Theorem 3 that, in the case of compact manifolds, a map : M × M × R^{+ *} N × N × R^{+ *} of the form (x,y,t) = ( (x), (y),h(t)), with surjective, is a heat kernel morphism if and only if is a homothetic covering of N()-sheets and constant dilation such that N() = ^m (m = dim M) and h(t) = ²t. In particular, if is bijective then it must be an isometry and h(t) = t. A similar problem was considered from a different point of view in [6].     

Toric degenerations of flag varieties from matching field tableaux

We present families of tableaux which interpolate between the classical semi-standard Young tableaux and matching field tableaux. Algebraically, this corresponds to SAGBI bases of Plücker algebras. We show that each such family of tableaux leads to a toric ideal, that can be realized as initial of the Plücker ideal, hence a toric degeneration for the flag variety.     

Varieties with P3 = 3 and q = dim(X)

关于两个特殊环曲面码的参数

扩充了Hansen的关于几个环曲面码的结果,给出两个新的环曲面码,并且用上同调的方法来计算码的维数,用相交理论的方法来估计最小距离,主要目的是为了证明对应两个不同的多边形可能具有相同的参数.最后,证明了这些新的码在某些有限域上是最好的码.     

Smooth Morphisms of Module Schemes

Let :A to B be a homomorphism of finite-dimensional algebrasover an algebraically closed field and the induced morphism of the associated module schemesfor any integer c 1. Heart of Irreducible Morphisms of Bounded Complexes

In [9 Giraldo , H. , Merklen , H. ( 2009 ). Irreducible morphisms of categories of complexes . Journal of Algebra 321 : 2716 – 2736 .[Crossref], [Web of Science ®] , [Google Scholar]] Giraldo and Merklen studied irreducible morphisms in the categories 𝒞(𝒜) and D^?(Λ), where 𝒞(𝒜) is the category of complexes over an abelian Krull–Schmidt category 𝒜 and D^?(Λ) is the derived category of the bounded above complexes of finite generate left modules, over an Artin algebra Λ. In this work, we continue the study of irreducible morphism having one finite irreducible truncation.     

Toric rings arising from vertex cover ideals

We extend the sortability concept to monomial ideals which are not necessarily generated in one degree and as an application we obtain normal Cohen-Macaulay toric rings attached to vertex cover ideals of graphs. Moreover, we consider a construction on a graph called a clique multi-whiskering which always produces vertex cover ideals with componentwise linear powers.
