On Central Elements in the Universal Enveloping Algebras of the Orthogonal Lie Algebras

We present an analogy of the famous formula that the square of the Pfaffian is equal to the determinant for an alternating matrix for the case where the entries are the generators of the orthogonal Lie algebras. This identity clarifies the relation between the two sets of central elements in the enveloping algebra of the orthogonal Lie algebras. We employ systematically the exterior calculus for the proof.     

Presenting Schur Algebras as Quotients of the Universal Enveloping Algebra of gl2

We give a presentation of the Schur algebras S _Q (2,d) by generators and relations, in fact a presentation which is compatible with Serre's presentation of the universal enveloping algebra of a simple Lie algebra. In the process we find a new basis for S _Q (2,d), a truncated form of the usual PBW basis. We also locate the integral Schur algebra within the presented algebra as the analogue of Kostant's Z-form, and show that it has an integral basis which is a truncated version of Kostant's basis.     

The Isomorphism Problem for Universal Enveloping Algebras of Lie Algebras

Let L be a Lie algebra with universal enveloping algebra U(L). We prove that if H is another Lie algebra with the property that U(L) ≅ U(H) then certain invariants of L are inherited by H. For example, we prove that if L is nilpotent then H is nilpotent with the same class as L. We also prove that if L is nilpotent of class at most two then L is isomorphic to H. Presented by D. Cohomology of the Universal Enveloping Algebras of Certain Bigraded Lie Algebras

Let p be an odd prime and q = 2(p-1).Up to total degree t-s max{(5p~3+ 6p~2+ 6 p +4)q-10,p~4q},the generators of H~(s,t)(U(L)),the cohomology of the universal enveloping algebra of a bigraded Lie algebra L,are determined and their convergence is also verified.Furthermore our results reveal that this cohomology satisfies an analogous Poinare duality property.This largely generalizes an earlier classical results due to J.P.May.

A Parameterization of the Canonical Bases of Affine Modified Quantized Enveloping Algebras

For a symmetrizable Kac-Moody Lie algebra g, Lusztig introduced the corresponding modified quantized enveloping algebra˙U and its canonical basis˙B given by Lusztig in 1992. In this paper, in the case that g is a symmetric Kac-Moody Lie algebra of finite or affine type, the authors define a set M which depends only on the root category R and prove that there is a bijection between M and ˙B, where R is the T~2-orbit category of the bounded derived category of the corresponding Dynkin or tame quiver. The method in this paper is based on a result of Lin, Xiao and Zhang in 2011, which gives a PBW-type basis of U~+.     

Invariant Differential Operators and FCR Factors of Enveloping Algebras

If  is a semisimple Lie algebra, we describe the prime factors of  () that have enough finite dimensional modules. The proof depends on some combinatorial facts about the Weyl group which may be of independent interest. We also determine, which finite dimensional  ()-modules are modules over a given prime factor. As an application we study finite dimensional modules over some rings of invariant differential operators arising from Howe duality.     

On Auslander-Reiten Quivers of Enveloping Algebras of Restricted Lie Algebras

Let (L, [p]) be a finite dimensional restricted Lie algebra over an algebraically closed field F of characteristic p ≥ 3, X ∈ L* a linear form. In this article we study the Auslander-Reiten quivers of certain blocks of the reduced enveloping algebra u(L,x). In particular, it is shown that the enveloping algebras of supersolvable Lie algebras do not possess AR-components of Euclidean type.     

On the Generalized Enveloping Algebra of a Color Lie Algebra

Let G be an abelian group, ε an anti-bicharacter of G and L a G-graded ε Lie algebra (color Lie algebra) over a field of characteristic zero. We prove that for all G-graded, positively filtered A such that the associated graded algebra is isomorphic to the G-graded ε-symmetric algebra S(L), there is a G- graded ε-Lie algebra L and a G-graded scalar two cocycle , such that A is isomorphic to U _ω (L) the generalized enveloping algebra of L associated with ω. We also prove there is an isomorphism of graded spaces between the Hochschild cohomology of the generalized universal enveloping algebra U(L) and the generalized cohomology of the color Lie algebra L. Right Coideal Subalgebras of Quantized Universal Enveloping Algebras of Type G 2*

In this article we describe the right coideal subalgebras containing all group-like elements of the two-parameter quantum group U _q (𝔤), where 𝔤 is a simple Lie algebra of type G ₂, while the main parameter of quantization q is not a root of 1. As a consequence, we determine that there are precisely 60 different right coideal subalgebras containing all group-like elements. If the multiplicative order t of q is finite, t > 4, t ≠ 6, then the same classification remains valid for homogeneous right coideal subalgebras of the two-parameter version of the small Lusztig quantum group u _q (𝔤).     

On Enveloping Lie Algebras of Hyporeductive Triple Algebras

The notion of a hypoderivation of binary-ternary algebras is introduced. A hypoderivation is a generalization both of a derivation and a pseudoderivation of such algebras. From the external direct sum of a hyporeductive triple algebra (h.t.a.) with the vector space of pairs constituted by hypoderivations and their companions, a Lie algebra with a hyporeductive decomposition (and accordingly a hyporeductive pair) enveloping the given h.t.a. is constructed. A nontrivial 3-dimensional Lie algebra with hyporeductive decomposition is presented. Examples of h.t.a. are also given.     

Gröbner–Shirshov Bases for Universal Enveloping Conformal Algebras of Simple Conformal Lie Superalgebras of Type WN

For simple conformal Lie superalgebras of type W_N, Gröbner–Shirshov bases of their universal enveloping associative conformal algebras are found. The universal enveloping algebras considered correspond to a minimal locality function for which there is an injective embedding.     

关于Malcev代数的幂零性

We investigate the nilpotence of a Malcev algebra M and of its standard enveloping Lie algebra L(M)=M D(M, M). The main result shows that an ideal A of M is nilpotent in M if and only if the corresponding ideal Ⅰ(A) = A D(A, M)is nilpotent in L(M).     

Enveloping Algebras of Solvable Malcev Algebras of Dimension Five

We study the universal enveloping algebras of the one-parameter family of solvable 5-dimensional non-Lie Malcev algebras. We explicitly determine the universal nonassociative enveloping algebras (in the sense of Pérez-Izquierdo and Shestakov) and the centers of the universal enveloping algebras. We also determine the universal alternative enveloping algebras.     

Chaotic Expansion of Elements of the Universal Enveloping Algebra of a Lie Algebra Associated with a Quantum Stochastic Calculus

The functional Ito formula, in the form df() = f( + d ) –f(),is formulated and proved in the context of a Lie algebra L associatedwith a quantum (non-commutative) stochastic calculus. Here fis an element of the universal enveloping algebra U of L, andf() + d() – f() is given a meaning using the coproductstructure of U even though the individual terms of this expressionhave no meaning. Two-Parameter Analogs of the Heisenberg Enveloping Algebra

One-parameter analogs of the Heisenberg enveloping algebra were studied previously by Kirkman and Small. They demonstrated how one may obtain Hayashi's analog of the Weyl algebra as a primitive factor of this algebra. We consider various two-parameter versions of this problem. Of particular interest is the case when the parameters are dependent. Our study allows us to consider the representation theory of a two-parameter version of the Virasoro enveloping algebra.     

On Galois Coverings of the Enveloping Algebras of Self-Injective Nakayama Algebras

Abstract

There is constructed a Galois covering F of the enveloping K-algebra A ^e of a self-injective Nakayama K-algebra A such that the right A ^e -module A is of the first kind with respect to F. Then, with the help of the constructed Galois covering, the Auslander-Reiten translation period of A is computed.
