On Central Elements in the Universal Enveloping Algebras of the Orthogonal Lie Algebras

We present an analogy of the famous formula that the square of the Pfaffian is equal to the determinant for an alternating matrix for the case where the entries are the generators of the orthogonal Lie algebras. This identity clarifies the relation between the two sets of central elements in the enveloping algebra of the orthogonal Lie algebras. We employ systematically the exterior calculus for the proof.     

Presenting Schur Algebras as Quotients of the Universal Enveloping Algebra of gl2

We give a presentation of the Schur algebras S _Q (2,d) by generators and relations, in fact a presentation which is compatible with Serre's presentation of the universal enveloping algebra of a simple Lie algebra. In the process we find a new basis for S _Q (2,d), a truncated form of the usual PBW basis. We also locate the integral Schur algebra within the presented algebra as the analogue of Kostant's Z-form, and show that it has an integral basis which is a truncated version of Kostant's basis.     

The Isomorphism Problem for Universal Enveloping Algebras of Lie Algebras

Let L be a Lie algebra with universal enveloping algebra U(L). We prove that if H is another Lie algebra with the property that U(L) ≅ U(H) then certain invariants of L are inherited by H. For example, we prove that if L is nilpotent then H is nilpotent with the same class as L. We also prove that if L is nilpotent of class at most two then L is isomorphic to H. Presented by D. On the Generalized Enveloping Algebra of a Color Lie Algebra

Let G be an abelian group, ε an anti-bicharacter of G and L a G-graded ε Lie algebra (color Lie algebra) over a field of characteristic zero. We prove that for all G-graded, positively filtered A such that the associated graded algebra is isomorphic to the G-graded ε-symmetric algebra S(L), there is a G- graded ε-Lie algebra L and a G-graded scalar two cocycle , such that A is isomorphic to U _ω (L) the generalized enveloping algebra of L associated with ω. We also prove there is an isomorphism of graded spaces between the Hochschild cohomology of the generalized universal enveloping algebra U(L) and the generalized cohomology of the color Lie algebra L. We investigate the nilpotence of a Malcev algebra M and of its standard enveloping Lie algebra L(M)=M D(M, M). The main result shows that an ideal A of M is nilpotent in M if and only if the corresponding ideal Ⅰ(A) = A D(A, M)is nilpotent in L(M).     

Enveloping Algebras of Solvable Malcev Algebras of Dimension Five

We study the universal enveloping algebras of the one-parameter family of solvable 5-dimensional non-Lie Malcev algebras. We explicitly determine the universal nonassociative enveloping algebras (in the sense of Pérez-Izquierdo and Shestakov) and the centers of the universal enveloping algebras. We also determine the universal alternative enveloping algebras.     

Gröbner–Shirshov Bases for Universal Enveloping Conformal Algebras of Simple Conformal Lie Superalgebras of Type WN

For simple conformal Lie superalgebras of type W_N, Gröbner–Shirshov bases of their universal enveloping associative conformal algebras are found. The universal enveloping algebras considered correspond to a minimal locality function for which there is an injective embedding.     

Chaotic Expansion of Elements of the Universal Enveloping Algebra of a Lie Algebra Associated with a Quantum Stochastic Calculus

The functional Ito formula, in the form df() = f( + d ) –f(),is formulated and proved in the context of a Lie algebra L associatedwith a quantum (non-commutative) stochastic calculus. Here fis an element of the universal enveloping algebra U of L, andf() + d() – f() is given a meaning using the coproductstructure of U even though the individual terms of this expressionhave no meaning. On Galois Coverings of the Enveloping Algebras of Self-Injective Nakayama Algebras

Abstract

There is constructed a Galois covering F of the enveloping K-algebra A ^e of a self-injective Nakayama K-algebra A such that the right A ^e -module A is of the first kind with respect to F. Then, with the help of the constructed Galois covering, the Auslander-Reiten translation period of A is computed.     

An Equivalence of Categories for Lie Color Algebras

Abstract

Let k be a field with char k = p > 0 and G an abelian group with a bicharacter λ on G. For each p-(G,λ)-Lie color algebra L over k the p-universal enveloping algebra u(L) is a G-graded Hopf algebra,i.e.,a Hopf algebra in the category ^kG ? of kG-comodules. In this paper we describe a subcategory of ^kG ? which is equivalent to the category of the finite dimensional p-(G,λ)-Lie color algebras over k.     

The Magnus Embedding for Right-Symmetric Algebras

We construct a basis for the universal multiplicative enveloping algebra U(A) of a right-symmetric algebra A. We prove an analog of the Magnus embedding for right-symmetric algebras; i.e., we prove that a right-symmetric algebra A/R ², where A is a free right-symmetric algebra, is embedded into the algebra of triangular matrices of the second order.     

Associative Enveloping Pseudoalgebras of Finite Lie Pseudoalgebras

Abstract

In this paper, we consider some properties of associative enveloping pseudoalgebras of finite Lie pseudoalgebras. It is proved that every pseudoalgebra of this kind is Noetherian.     

Enveloping algebras of double Poisson-Ore extensions

It is proved that the Poisson enveloping algebra of a double Poisson-Ore extension is an iterated double Ore extension. As an application, properties that are preserved under iterated double Ore extensions are invariants of the Poisson enveloping algebra of a double Poisson-Ore extension.     

Weak Quantum Enveloping Algebras of Borcherds Superalgebras

In present paper we define a new kind of weak quantized enveloping algebra of Borcherds superalgebras . It is a noncommutative and noncocommutative weak graded Hopf algebra. Using localizing with some Ore set, we obtain a different kind of quantized enveloping algebras of Borcherds superalgebras . It has a homomorphic image which is isomorphic to the usual quantum enveloping algebra of . Moreover, is isomorphic to a direct sum of and an other algebra as algebras. Integral Bases for the Universal Enveloping Algebras of Cartan Map Superalgebras

Let ?? be a finite dimensional complex simple Lie superalgebra of Cartan type and A be a commutative, associative algebra with unity over ?. We refer to the Lie superalgebras of the form ?? ? A as Cartan map superalgebras. In this paper, following Bagci and Chamberlin (J. of Pure and Applied Algebra 218(8), 1563–1576, 2014), we define an integral form for the universal enveloping algebra of the Cartan map superalgebras, and exhibit an explicit integral basis for this integral form.
