We introduce the notion of module twistor for a module of a nonlocal vertex algebra. The aim of this paper is to use this concept to unify some deformed constructions of modules of nonlocal vertex algebras, such as twisted tensor products and iterated twisted tensor products of modules of nonlocal vertex algebras.  相似文献

The twisted Heisenberg-Virasoro algebra is the universal central extension of the Lie algebra of differential operators on a circle of order at most one. In this paper, we first study the variety of semi-conformal vectors of the twisted Heisenberg-Virasoro vertex operator algebra, which is a finite set consisting of two nontrivial elements. Based on this property,we also show that the twisted Heisenberg-Virasoro vertex operator algebra is a tensor product of two vertex operator algebras. Moreover, associating to properties of semi-conformal vectors of the twisted Heisenberg-Virasoro vertex operator algebra, we charaterized twisted Heisenberg-Virasoro vertex operator algebras. This will be used to understand the classification problems of vertex operator algebras whose varieties of semi-conformal vectors are finite sets.  相似文献

We study the concept of module twistor for a module over an algebra. This concept provides a unifying framework for various deformed constructions of modules over algebras, such as module R-matrices, (n-factor iterated) twisted tensor products and L-R-twisted tensor products of algebras. Among the main results, we find the relations among these constructions. Furthermore, we study some properties of module twistors.  相似文献

We study twisted modules for (weak) quantum vertex algebras and we give a conceptual construction of (weak) quantum vertex algebras and their twisted modules. As an application we construct and classify irreducible twisted modules for a certain family of quantum vertex algebras.  相似文献

The so-called “invariance under twisting” for twisted tensor products of algebras is a result stating that, if we start with a twisted tensor product, under certain circumstances we can “deform” the twisting map and we obtain a new twisted tensor product, isomorphic to the given one. It was proved before that a number of independent and previously unrelated results from Hopf algebra theory are particular cases of this theorem. In this article we show that some more results from literature are particular cases of invariance under twisting, for instance a result of Beattie-Chen-Zhang that implies the Blattner-Montgomery duality theorem.  相似文献

Given a covering Γ of a quiver Δ, we show that the quiver algebra K[Γ] of Γ over a field K is a twisted tensor product of the quiver algebra of the fibre of the covering viewed as a trivial quiver and the quiver algebra K[Δ]. To make sense of this, we first extend the theory of twisted tensor products of algebras to include algebras without units.  相似文献

Nonlocal vertex algebras generated by formal vertex operators   总被引:2,自引:0,他引:2
This is the first paper in a series to study vertex algebra-like objects arising from infinite-dimensional quantum groups (quantum affine algebras and Yangians). In this paper we lay the foundations for this study. For any vector space W, we study what we call quasi compatible subsets of Hom (W,W((x))) and we prove that any maximal quasi compatible subspace has a natural nonlocal (namely noncommutative) vertex algebra structure with W as a natural faithful quasi module in a certain sense, and that any quasi compatible subset generates a nonlocal vertex algebra with W as a quasi module. In particular, taking W to be a highest weight module for a quantum affine algebra we obtain a nonlocal vertex algebra with W as a quasi module. We also formulate and study a notion of quantum vertex algebra and we give general constructions of nonlocal vertex algebras, quantum vertex algebras and their modules.  相似文献

We present techniques for computing Gerstenhaber brackets on Hochschild cohomology of general twisted tensor product algebras. These techniques involve twisted tensor product resolutions and are based on recent results on Gerstenhaber brackets expressed on arbitrary bimodule resolutions.  相似文献

The problem of constructing twisted modules for a vertex operator algebra and an automorphism has been solved in particular in two contexts. One of these two constructions is that initiated by the third author in the case of a lattice vertex operator algebra and an automorphism arising from an arbitrary lattice isometry. This construction, from a physical point of view, is related to the space–time geometry associated with the lattice in the sense of string theory. The other construction is due to the first author, jointly with C. Dong and G. Mason, in the case of a multifold tensor product of a given vertex operator algebra with itself and a permutation automorphism of the tensor factors. The latter construction is based on a certain change of variables in the worldsheet geometry in the sense of string theory. In the case of a lattice that is the orthogonal direct sum of copies of a given lattice, these two very different constructions can both be carried out, and must produce isomorphic twisted modules, by a theorem of the first author jointly with Dong and Mason. In this paper, we explicitly construct an isomorphism, thereby providing, from both mathematical and physical points of view, a direct link between space–time geometry and worldsheet geometry in this setting.  相似文献

In this article we show that the notion of twisted comodule algebras is a generalization of Drinfeld's cocycle twisting construction of bialgebras or Hopf algebras, and that several other twisting constructions, such as Ferrer's twisting product and Lu's one-sided twisting, are also special examples of twisted comodule algebras. Some general properties on twisted comodule algebras are investigated, and applications to the generalized quantum double are given.  相似文献

We use the fusion construction in twisted quantum affine algebras to obtain a unified method to deform the wedge product for classical Lie algebras. As a by-product we uniformly realize all non-spin fundamental modules for quantized enveloping algebras of classical types, and show that they admit natural crystal bases as modules for the (derived) twisted quantum affine algebra. These crystal bases are parametrized in terms of the q-wedge products.  相似文献

We apply an idea of framed vertex operator algebras to a construction of local conformal nets of (injective type III1) factors on the circle corresponding to various lattice vertex operator algebras and their twisted orbifolds. In particular, we give a local conformal net corresponding to the moonshine vertex operator algebras of Frenkel-Lepowsky-Meurman. Its central charge is 24, it has a trivial representation theory in the sense that the vacuum sector is the only irreducible DHR sector, its vacuum character is the modular invariant J-function and its automorphism group (the gauge group) is the Monster group. We use our previous tools such as α-induction and complete rationality to study extensions of local conformal nets.  相似文献

We introduce a generalization of the notion of a Koszul algebra, which includes graded algebras with relations in different degrees, and we establish some of the basic properties of these algebras. This class is closed under twists, twisted tensor products, regular central extensions and Ore extensions. We explore the monomial algebras in this class and we include some well-known examples of algebras that fall into this class.  相似文献

We present a general construction producing a unitary corepresentation of a multiplier Hopf algebra in itself and study RR-corepresentations of twisted tensor coproduct multiplier Hopf algebra. Then we investigate some properties of functors, integrals and morphisms related to the categories of the crossed modules and covariant modules over multiplier Hopf algebras. By doing so, we can apply our theory to the case of group-cograded multiplier Hopf algebras, in particular, the case of Hopf group-coalgebras.  相似文献

It is known that under certain finite dimensionality condition the derivation algebra of tensor product of two algebras can be obtained in terms of the derivation algebras and the centroids of the involved algebras. We extend this theorem to infinite dimensional case and as an application, we determine the derivation algebra of the fixed point algebra of the tensor product of two algebras, with respect to the tensor product of two finite order automorphisms. These provide the framework for calculating the derivations of some infinite dimensional Lie algebras.  相似文献

We extend classical results of Kostant et al. on multiplets of representations of finite-dimensional Lie algebras and on the cubic Dirac operator to the setting of affine Lie algebras and twisted affine cubic Dirac operator. We prove in this setting an analogue of Vogan's conjecture on infinitesimal characters of Harish-Chandra modules in terms of Dirac cohomology. For our calculations we use the machinery of Lie conformal and vertex algebras.  相似文献

This is the third part in a series of papers developing a tensor product theory for modules for a vertex operator algebra. The goal of this theory is to construct a “vertex tensor category” structure on the category of modules for a suitable vertex operator algebra. The notion of vertex tensor category is essentially a “complex analogue” of the notion of symmetric tensor category, and in fact a vertex tensor category produces a braided tensor category in a natural way. In this paper, we focus on a particular element P(z) of a certain moduli space of three-punctured Riemann spheres; in general, every element of this moduli space will give rise to a notion of tensor product, and one must consider all these notions in order to construct a vertex tensor category. Here we present the fundamental properties of the P(z)-tensor product of two modules for a vertex operator algebra. We give two constructions of a P(z)-tensor product, using the results, established in Parts I and II of this series, for a certain other element of the moduli space. The definitions and results in Parts I and II are recalled.  相似文献

In this paper, we interpret Massey products in terms of realizations (twitsting cochains) of certain differential graded coalgebras with values in differential graded algebras. In the case where the target algebra is the cobar construction of a differential graded commutative Hopf algebra, we construct the tensor product of realizations and show that the tensor product is strictly associative, and commutative up to homotopy.  相似文献

We explain the appearance of Rogers-Ramanujan series inside the tensor product of two basic A 2 (2) -modules, previously discovered by the first author in [Feingold A.J., Some applications of vertex operators to Kac-Moody algebras, In: Vertex Operators in Mathematics and Physics, Berkeley, November 10–17, 1983, Math. Sci. Res. Inst. Publ., 3, Springer, New York, 1985, 185–206]. The key new ingredients are (5,6)Virasoro minimal models and twisted modules for the Zamolodchikov W 3-algebra.  相似文献
