On Krull and Valuative Dimension of Tensor Products of Algebras

This article is concerned with the dimension theory of tensor products of algebras over a field k. In fact, we provide formulas for the Krull and valuative dimension of A? _k B when A and B are k-algebras such that the polynomial ring A[n] is an AF-domain for some positive integer n. Also, we compute dim _v (A? _k B) in the case where A ? B.

素环的李结构

设R是一个咎征非2的素环，U是R的一个平方封闭的李理想，d1，d2，d是R的导子，δ是R的广义导子．本文证明了U为中心李理想，如果以下条件之一成立：（1）d（x）od（y）=xoy；（2）d（x）οd（y）＋xοy=0；（3）d1（x）οd2（可）=0；（4）δ（[x，y]）=0；（5）δ（xοy）=0对所有的x，y∈U．     

Quantale中的素理想及弱素理想

Power-Centralizing Automorphisms of Lie Ideals in Prime Rings

Let R be a prime ring with center Z, L a noncentral Lie ideal of R, and σ a nontrivial automorphism of R such that [u ^σ,u] ⁿ  ∈ Z for all u ∈ L. If either char(R) > n or char(R) = 0, then R satisfies s ₄, the standard identity in 4 variables.     

Partial Skew Polynomial Rings: Prime and Maximal Ideals

In this article, we consider rings R with a partial action α of a cyclic infinite group G on R. We define partial skew polynomial rings as natural subrings of the partial skew group ring R ?_α G. We study prime and maximal ideals of a partial skew polynomial ring when the given partial action α has an enveloping action.     

Dynamic evaluation of integrity and the computational content of Krull's lemma

A multiplicative subset of a commutative ring contains the zero element precisely if the set in question meets every prime ideal. While this form of Krull's Lemma takes recourse to transfinite reasoning, it has recently allowed for a crucial reduction to the integral case in Kemper and the third author's novel characterization of the valuative dimension. We present a dynamical solution by which transfinite reasoning can be avoided, and illustrate this constructive method with concrete examples. We further give a combinatorial explanation by relating the Zariski lattice to a certain inductively generated class of finite binary trees. In particular, we make explicit the computational content of Krull's Lemma.     

A Note on Lie Automorphisms,Subrings, and Lie Ideals of Prime Rings

ABSTRACT

Let R be a prime ring of characteristic not 2 or 3 and L a noncentral Lie ideal of R. Suppose that σ is a Lie automorphism on L such that σ² ? 1 is noncentral on L, where 1 is the identity map, then the subring of R generated by the set {[x ^σ, x] | x ∈ L} contains a nonzero ideal of R.

Abstract

Let R be a prime ring of characteristic not equal to 2 or 3 and let L be a noncentral Lie ideal of R. Suppose that σ is a Lie automorphism on L such that σ⁴ is not the identity map. Then the additive subgroup generated by the set {[x ^σ, x] ∣ x ∈ L} contains a noncentral Lie ideal of R.     

On Prime Rings Satisfying a Certain Generalized Polynomial Identity

Abstract

Recently, Beidar, Fong and Bokut proved that a prime ring satisfies a nontrivial semigroup generalized identity if and only if its central closure is a primitive ring with nonzero socle and the associated skew field is a field. We shall extend their result to the case when generalized polynomial contains three summands.     

A Note on the Dimension Theory of ℤ n -Graded Rings

In this note we want to generalize some of the results in [1 Brewer , J. , Montgomery , P. , Rutter E. , Heinzer , W. ( 1973 ). Krull dimension of polynomial rings in “Conference on Commutative Algebra, Lawrence 1972.” . Springer Lecture Notes in Mathematics 311 : 26 – 45 .[Crossref] , [Google Scholar]] from polynomial rings in several indeterminates to arbitrary ? ⁿ -graded commutative rings. We will prove an analogue of Jaffard's Special Chain Theorem and a similar result for the height of a prime ideal 𝔭 over its graded core 𝔭*.

Prime Lie Rings of Derivations of Commutative Rings

Let R be a 2-torsion free commutative ring with identity, and δ a nonzero derivation of R such that R is δ-prime. Then Rδ is a prime Lie ring and any nonzero ideal of Rδ contains an ideal of the form Jδ where J is a nonzero δ-ideal of R.     

Pullbacks of Arithmetical Rings

We give necessary and sufficient conditions that the pullback of a conductor square be a chain ring (i.e., a ring whose ideals are totally ordered by inclusion). We also give necessary and sufficient conditions that the pullback of a conductor square be an arithmetical ring (i.e., a ring which is locally a chain ring at every maximal ideal). For any integral domain D with field of fractions K, we characterize all Prüfer domains R between D[X] and K[X] such that the conductor C of K[X] into R is nonzero. As an application, we show that for n ≥ 2, such a ring R has the n-generator property (every finitely generated ideal can be generated by n elements) if and only if R/C has the same property.     

Right-Left Symmetry of Right Nonsingular Right Max-Min CS Prime Rings

In this article we show, among others, that if R is a prime ring which is not a domain, then R is right nonsingular, right max-min CS with uniform right ideal if and only if R is left nonsingular, left max-min CS with uniform left ideal. Notes on Automorphisms of Prime Rings

Let R be a prime ring, L a noncentral Lie ideal and σ a nontrivial automorphism of R such that usσ(u)ut= 0 for all u ∈ L, where s, t are fixed non-negative integers. If either char R s + t or char R = 0, then R satisfies s4, the standard identity in four variables. We also examine the identity(σ([x, y])-[x, y])n=0 for all x, y ∈ I, where I is a nonzero ideal of R and n is a fixed positive integer. If either char R n or char R = 0, then R is commutative.     

Ideal Structure of Leavitt Path Algebras with Coefficients in a Unital Commutative Ring

For a (countable) graph E and a unital commutative ring R, we analyze the ideal structure of the Leavitt path algebra L _R (E) introduced by Mark Tomforde. We first modify the definition of basic ideals and then develop the ideal characterization of Mark Tomforde. We also give necessary and sufficient conditions for the primeness and the primitivity of L _R (E), and we then determine prime graded basic ideals and left (or right) primitive graded ideals of L _R (E). In particular, when E satisfies Condition (K) and R is a field, they imply that the set of prime ideals and the set of primitive ideals of L _R (E) coincide.     

Poisson Prime Ideals of Poisson Polynomial Rings

Let A be a finitely generated Poisson algebra over a field of characteristic zero. Here we prove that every Poisson prime ideal of A is prime and give a method to find all Poisson prime ideals in an arbitrary Poisson polynomial ring A[x; α, δ].
