On Inverse Transversals of Ordered Regular Semigroups

We first consider an ordered regular semigroup S in which every element has a biggest inverse and determine necessary and sufficient conditions for the subset S ^○ of biggest inverses to be an inverse transversal of S. Such an inverse transversal is necessarily weakly multiplicative. We then investigate principally ordered regular semigroups S with the property that S ^○ is an inverse transversal. In such a semigroup we determine precisely when the set S ^☆ of biggest pre-inverses is a subsemigroup and show that in this case S ^☆ is itself an inverse transversal of a subsemigroup of S. The ordered regular semigroup of 2 × 2 boolean matrices provides an informative illustrative example. The structure of S, when S ^☆ is a group, is also described.

Let S be a locally inverse semigroup with an inverse transversal S°. In this paper, we construct an amenable partial order on S by an R-cone. Conversely, every amenable partial order on S can be constructed in this way. We give some properties of a locally inverse semigroup with a Clifford transversal. In particular, if S is a locally inverse semigroup with a Clifford transversal, then there is an order-preserving bijection from the set of all amenable partial orders on S to the set of all R-cones of S.

指出完全单半群Ｓ的任何一个Ｆ－类是逆断面,且为Ｑ－逆断面,而Ｓ的任何一个逆断面必是一个Ｆ－类,因而所有逆断面同构。并且给出完全正则半群的逆断面存在的充要条件。

A normal orthodox semigroup is an orthodox semigroup whose idempotent elements form a normal band.We deal with congruces on a normal orthodox semigroup with an iverse transversal .A structure theorem for such semigroup is obtained.Munn(1966)gave a fundamental inverse semigroup Following Munn‘s idea ,we give a fundamental normal orthodox semigroup with an inverse transversal.     

On E-solid Semigroups with Inverse Transversals

We characterize E-solid semigroups with inverse transversals and some special such semigroups in terms of congruences. It is well known that there exists the smallest inverse semigroup congruence on an orthodox semigroup. We denote by Y the smallest inverse semigroup congruence on an orthodox semigroup. Let S be a fight inverse semigroup. We construct partial orders on S by some kind of its subsemigroups and uncover that partial orders on S have close contact with partial orders on S/Y.     

On Adequate Transversals

We consider adequate transversals of abundant semigroups and prove that, in a particular case, there is a natural embedding of an inverse transversal within a certain regular subsemigroup. We also introduce the concepts of simplistic, perfect, and quasi-adequate transversal and provide a number of interesting connections between these.     

On Generalized Orthodox Transversals

Generalized orthodox transversals are introduced in this article, and some characterizations associated with them are obtained. The related results of Chen on quasi-ideal orthodox transversals obtained in 1999 and Zhang and Wang on generalized inverse transversals obtained in 2008 are generalized and amplified. A structure theorem of a regular semigroup with a perfect generalized orthodox transversal is also established.

On generalized inverse transversals

Let S be a regular semigroup, S° an inverse subsemigroup of S.S° is called a generalized inverse transversal of S, if V（x）∩S°≠Ф. In this paper, some properties of this kind of semigroups are discussed. In particular, a construction theorem is obtained which contains some recent results in the literature as its special cases.

Naturally ordered regular semigroups with an inverse monoid transversal

The notion of an inverse transversal of a regular semigroup is well-known. Here we investigate naturally ordered regular semigroups that have an inverse transversal. Such semigroups are necessarily locally inverse and the inverse transversal is a quasi-ideal. After considering various general properties that relate the imposed order to the natural order, we highlight the situation in which the inverse transversal is a monoid. The regularity of Green’s relations is also characterised. Finally, we determine the structure of a naturally ordered regular semigroup with an inverse monoid transversal.     

Associate inverse subsemigroups of regular semigroups

By an associate inverse subsemigroup of a regular semigroup S we mean a subsemigroup T of S containing a least associate of each x∈S, in relation to the natural partial order ≤ _S . We describe the structure of a regular semigroup with an associate inverse subsemigroup, satisfying two natural conditions. As a particular application, we obtain the structure of regular semigroups with an associate subgroup with medial identity element. A natural characterization of known types of inverse transversal leads to the introduction of several new types, which we characterize in a similar natural way. Relations between the various types produce a general classification. We also determine for which types of inverse transversal considered the congruence extension property holds.     

INVERSE TRANSVERSALS ARE MUTUALLY ISOMORPHIC

It has been suspected for some time that if a regular semigroup S has an inverse transversal then all inverse transversals of S are isomorphic. Here we give a proof of this fact.     

Rees Matrix Covers and the Translational Hull of a Locally Inverse Semigroup

For any locally inverse semigroup S, there exists a maximal dense ideal extension of S within the class LI of all locally inverse semigroups (Pastijn and Oliveira, 2006 Pastijn , F. J. , Oliveira , L. ( 2006 ). Maximal dense ideal extensions of locally inverse semigroups . Semigroup Forum 72 : 441 – 458 . [Google Scholar], Preprint). Here we realize this maximal dense ideal extension in terms of a canonically constructed quotient of a regular Rees matrix semigroup over an inverse semigroup.
