关于有限群的$CAP$-嵌入子群   总被引:1,自引:0,他引:1  
A subgroup H of a finite group G is said to be CAP-embedded subgroup of G if, for each prime p dividing the order of H, there exists a CAP-subgroup K of G such that a Sylow p-subgroup of H is also a Sylow p-subgroup of K. In this paper some new results are obtained based on the assumption that some subgroups of prime power order have the CAP-embedded property in the group.  相似文献

A subgroup of a group G is said to be Sylow-quasinormal (S-quasinormal) in G if it permutes with every Sylow subgroup of G. A subgroup H of a group G is said to be Supplement-Sylow-quasinormal (SS-quasinormal) in G if there is a supplement B of H to G such that H is permutable with every Sylow subgroup of B. In this article, we investigate the influence of SS-quasinormal of maximal or minimal subgroups of Sylow subgroups of the generalized Fitting subgroup of a finite group.  相似文献

Let d be the smallest generator number of a finite p-group P and let Md(P) = {P1,...,Pd} be a set of maximal subgroups of P such that ∩di=1 Pi = Φ(P). Let ν(G) be the number of conjugacy classes of non-normal subgroups of a finite group G. We obtain two new lower bounds for ν(G) when G is a non-abelian finite p-group and p is odd. More precisely, if |G| =p n , exp Z(G) = p e , and exp G/G′ =p f , let us define λ(G) = n ? e and κ(G) = n ? f. Then we prove that ν(G) ≥ p(λ(G) ?3) +2 and ν(G) ≥ p(κ(G) ?3) +2. The first bound improves the bound ν(G) ≥ λ(G) ?1 given by [10 La Haye , R. , Rhemtulla , A. ( 1999 ). Groups with a bounded number of conjugacy classes of non-normal subgroups . J. In the present paper, for any finite group G of Lie type (except for 2 F 4(q)), the order a(G) of its large Abelian subgroup is either found or estimated from above and from below (the latter is done for the groups F 4 (q), E 6 (q), E 7 (q), E 8 (q), and 2 E 6(q 2)). In the groups for which the number a(G) has been found exactly, any large Abelian subgroup coincides with a large unipotent or a large semisimple Abelian subgroup. For the groups F 4 (q), E 6 (q), E 7 (q), E 8 (q), and 2 E 6(q 2)), it is shown that if an Abelian subgroup contains a noncentral semisimple element, then its order is less than the order of an Abelian unipotent group. Hence in these groups the large Abelian subgroups are unipotent, and in order to find the value of a(G) for them, it is necessary to find the orders of the large unipotent Abelian subgroups. Thus it is proved that in a finite group of Lie type (except for 2 F 4(q))) any large Abelian subgroup is either a large unipotent or a large semisimple Abelian subgroup.  相似文献

In this paper, the author characterizes the subgroups of a finite metacyclic group K by building a one to one correspondence between certain 3-tuples(k, l, β) ∈ N3 and all the subgroups of K. The results are applied to compute some subgroups of K as well as to study the structure and the number of p-subgroups of K, where p is a fixed prime number. Denote by ω(G) the number of orbits of the action of Aut(G) on the finite group G. We prove that if G is a finite nonsolvable group in which ω(G) ≤5, then G is isomorphic to one of the groups A5, A6, PSL(2, 7), or PSL(2, 8). We also consider the case when ω(G) = 6 and show that, if G is a nonsolvable finite group with ω(G) = 6, then either GPSL(3, 4) or there exists a characteristic elementary abelian 2-subgroup N of G such that G/NA5.  相似文献
