Tensor Products and Whittaker Vectors for Quantum Groups

We describe the action of the center of the quantum group U_q () on the tensor product V ? L(λ) of an infinite-dimensional representation V having an infinitesimal character χ_τ and an irreducible finite-dimensional U_q () representation L(λ) of highest weight λ. We apply this result in order to describe the tensor product of a Whittaker module and a finite-dimensional simple module for the algebra U_q(l₂).     

TENSOR PRODUCTS OF JACOBSON RADICALS IN NEST ALGEBRAS

This paper studies the tensor product RN RM of Jacobson radicals in nest algebras, and obtains that RN RM = {T∈B(H1 H2) : T(N M)(?)N_ M_, N∈N,M∈M}; and based on the characterization of rank-one operators in RN RM,it is proved that if N, M are non-trivial then RN RM=R if and only if N, M are continuous.     

Tensor Products of Modules Over a Certain Class of Quantum Doubles

The quantum doubles of a certain class of rank two pointed Hopf algebras are considered. The socle of the tensor product of two such modules is computed, and formulas similar to the ones in [4 Chen , H. X. ( 2000 ). Irreducible representations of a class of quantum doubles . J. Alg. 225 : 391 – 409 . [Google Scholar]] are obtained. Cases when such a tensor product is completely irreducible are also given in the last section.     

Subpullbacks and Flatness Properties of S-Posets

In [5 Laan , V. ( 2001 ). Pullbacks and flatness proprties of acts I . Comm. Algebra. 29 ( 2 ): 829 – 850 .[Taylor &; Francis Online], [Web of Science ®] , [Google Scholar], pp. 829–850] study was initiated of flatness properties of right acts A _S over a monoid S that can be described in terms when the functor A _S ?-preserves pullbacks. In that article, familiar flatness properties emerged in a new light, and new properties such as (PWP) and (WP) were discovered. In this article, we extend these results to S-posets. Also we introduce Conditions (WP) _w and (PWP) _w and consider the relation between them and Conditions (WP), (PWP), and po-flatness.     

L—fuzzy模范畴的张量积与张量函子

Tensor Products of Non-Archimedean Weighted Spaces of Continuous Functions

It is shown that the completion of the tensor product of two non-Archimedean weighted spaces of continuous functions is topologically isomorphic to another weighted space. Several applications of this result are given.     

On Krull and Valuative Dimension of Tensor Products of Algebras

This article is concerned with the dimension theory of tensor products of algebras over a field k. In fact, we provide formulas for the Krull and valuative dimension of A? _k B when A and B are k-algebras such that the polynomial ring A[n] is an AF-domain for some positive integer n. Also, we compute dim _v (A? _k B) in the case where A ? B.     

Projective Summands in Tensor Products of Simple Modules of Finite Dimensional Hopf Algebras

Abstract

Let H be a finite dimensional Hopf algebra over a field k. We show that H contains a unique maximal Hopf ideal J _w (H) contained in J(H), the Jacobson radical of H. We give various characterizations of J _w (H), for example J _w (H) = Ann _H ((H/J(H))^?n ) for all large enough n. The smallest positive integer n with this property is denoted by l _w (H). We prove that l _w (H) equals the smallest number n such that (H/J(H))^?n contains every projective indecomposable H/J _w (H)-module as a direct summand. This also equals the minimal n such that the tensor product of n suitable simple H-modules contains the projective cover of the trivial H/J _w (H)-module as a direct summand. We define projective homomorphisms between H-modules, which are used to obtain various reciprocity laws for tensor products of simple H-modules and their projective indecomposable direct summands. We also discuss some consequences of our general results in case H = kG is a group algebra of a finite group G and k is a field of characteristic p.     

Tensor products of subnormal operators

We shall use a -algebra approach to study operators of the form where is subnormal and is normal. We shall determine the spectral properties for these operators, and find the minimal normal extension and the dual operator. We also give a necessary condition for to contain a compact operator and a sufficient condition for the algebraic equivalence of and .

We also consider the existence of a homomorphism satisfying . We shall characterize the operators such that exists for every operator .

The problem of when is unitarily equivalent to is considered. Complete results are given when and are positive operators with finite multiplicity functions and has compact self-commutator. Some examples are also given.

     

Convolutions,Tensor Products and Multipliers of the Orlicz-Lorentz Spaces

In this paper, the authors first give the properties of the convolutions of OrliczLorentz spaces Λ1,wand Λ2,won the locally compact abelian group. Secondly, the authors obtain the concrete representation as function spaces for the tensor products of Orlicz-Lorentz spaces Λ1,wand Λ2,w, and get the space of multipliers from the spaceΛ1,wto the space M2*,w. Finally, the authors discuss the homogeneous properties for the Orlicz-Lorentz space Λp,q,w.

Best N Term Approximation Spaces for Tensor Product Wavelet Bases

We consider best N term approximation using anisotropic tensor product wavelet bases ("sparse grids"). We introduce a tensor product structure ⊗_q on certain quasi-Banach spaces. We prove that the approximation spaces A^α_q(L₂) and A^α_q(H¹) equal tensor products of Besov spaces B^α_q(L_q), e.g., A^α_q(L₂([0,1]^d)) = B^α_q(L_q([0,1])) ⊗_q · ⊗_q B^α_{q · ·}(L_q([0,1])). Solutions to elliptic partial differential equations on polygonal/polyhedral domains belong to these new scales of Besov spaces.
