We present a new class of graded irreducible representations of a Leavitt path algebra. This class is new in the sense that its representation space is not isomorphic to any of the existing simple Chen modules. The corresponding graded simple modules complete the list of Chen modules which are graded, creating an exhaustive class: the annihilator of any graded simple module is equal to the annihilator of either a graded Chen module or a module of this new type.Our characterization of graded primitive ideals of a Leavitt path algebra in terms of the properties of the underlying graph is the main tool for proving the completeness of such classification. We also point out a problem with the characterization of primitive ideals of a Leavitt path algebra in Rangaswamy (2013) [15].  相似文献

For any field 𝕂 and integer n ≥ 2, we consider the Leavitt algebra L 𝕂(n); for any integer d ≥ 1, we form the matrix ring S = M d (L 𝕂(n)). S is an associative algebra, but we view S as a Lie algebra using the bracket [a, b] = ab ? ba for a, b ∈ S. We denote this Lie algebra as S ?, and consider its Lie subalgebra [S ?, S ?]. In our main result, we show that [S ?, S ?] is a simple Lie algebra if and only if char(𝕂) divides n ? 1 and char(𝕂) does not divide d. In particular, when d = 1, we get that [L 𝕂(n)?, L 𝕂(n)?] is a simple Lie algebra if and only if char(𝕂) divides n ? 1.  相似文献

It is shown that an algebra Λ can be lifted with nilpotent Jacobson radical r = r(Λ) and has a generalized matrix unit {e ii } I with each ē ii in the center of if Λ is isomorphic to a generalized path algebra with weak relations. Representations of the generalized path algebras are given. As a corollary, Λ is a finite algebra with non-zero unity element over a perfect field k (e.g., a field with characteristic zero or a finite field) if Λ is isomorphic to a generalized path algebra k (D, Ω, ρ) of finite directed graph with weak relations and dim < ∞; Λ is a generalized elementary algebra which can be lifted with nilpotent Jacobson radical and has a complete set of pairwise orthogonal idempotents if Λ is isomorphic to a path algebra with relations. Let K be a skew field with total subring V and G be a right ordered group with cone P, so that the crossed product algebra K*G has a skew field D of fractions. We consider total subrings R of D with RK = V, describe the overrings in D, as well as subrings of R. For a commutative ring R with identity, the annihilating-ideal graph of R, denoted 𝔸𝔾(R), is the graph whose vertices are the nonzero annihilating ideals of R with two distinct vertices joined by an edge when the product of the vertices is the zero ideal. We will generalize this notion for an ideal I of R by replacing nonzero ideals whose product is zero with ideals that are not contained in I and their product lies in I and call it the annihilating-ideal graph of R with respect to I, denoted 𝔸𝔾 I (R). We discuss when 𝔸𝔾 I (R) is bipartite. We also give some results on the subgraphs and the parameters of 𝔸𝔾 I (R).  相似文献

Abstract: In this paper, we consider the Goldbach's problem for matrix rings, namely, we decompose an n ×n (n > 1) matrix over a principal ideal domain R into a sum of two matrices in Mn(R) with given determinants. We prove the following result: Let n > 1 be a natural number and A = (αij) be a matrix in Mn(R). Define d(A) := g.c.d{αij}. Suppose that p and q are two elements in R. Then (1) If n > 1 is even, then A can be written as a sum of two matrices X, Y in Mn(R) with det(X) = p and det(Y) = q if and only if d(A) |p-q; (2) If n > 1 is odd, then A can be written as a sum of two matrices X, Y in Mn(R) with det(X) = p and det(Y) = q if and only if d(A) |p + q. We apply the result to the matrices in Mn(Z) and Mn(Q[x]) and prove that if R = Z or Q[x], then any nonzero matrix A in Mn(R) can be written as a sum of two matrices in Mn(R) with prime determinants.  相似文献

Let D be an integral domain with quotient field K. A Bhargava ring over D is defined to be 𝔹 x (D): = {f ∈ K[X] | ? a ∈ D, f(xX + a) ∈ D[X]}, where x ∈ D. A Bhargava ring over D is a subring of the ring of integer-valued polynomials over D. A Lie ring or Lie algebra L possessing an ideal spread (that is a spread of subrings or subalgebras which is stable under Lie multiplication) is either Abelian or there is a field K' that operates on L so that L can be seen as K'-Lie algebra of rank 2. Let R be a commutative ring and let Spec(R) denote the collection of prime ideals of R. We define a topology on Spec(R) by using ultrafilters and demonstrate that this topology is identical to the well-known patch or constructible topology. Then R E is a (meet) semilattice with respect to the order [x] ≤ [y] if and only if ann R (y) ? ann R (x).
