Let R be a ring, and n and d fixed non-negative integers. An R-module M is called (n, d)-injective if Ext d+1 R (P, M) = 0 for any n-presented R-module P. M is said to be (n, d)-projective if Ext1 R (M, N) = 0 for any (n, d)-injective R-module N. We use these concepts to characterize n-coherent rings and (n, d)-rings. Some known results are extended.  相似文献

Let R be a commutative (possibly non-Noetherian) ring (in order to make things less technical) and C a semidualizing R-module. In this article, we introduce and investigate the notion of G C -injective (G C -projective) complexes. This extends Enochs and García Rozas's notion of Gorenstein injective (Gorenstein projective) complexes. We then show that a complex X is G C -injective (G C -projective) if and only if X m is a G C -injective (G C -projective) module for each m ∈ ?.  相似文献

Let R be a ring and R ω a self-orthogonal module. We introduce the notion of the right orthogonal dimension (relative to R ω) of modules. We give a criterion for computing this relative right orthogonal dimension of modules. For a left coherent and semilocal ring R and a finitely presented self-orthogonal module R ω, we show that the projective dimension of R ω and the right orthogonal dimension (relative to R ω) of R/J are identical, where J is the Jacobson radical of R. As a consequence, we get that R ω has finite projective dimension if and only if every left (finitely presented) R-module has finite right orthogonal dimension (relative to R ω). If ω is a tilting module, we then prove that a left R-module has finite right orthogonal dimension (relative to R ω) if and only if it has a special ω-preenvelope.  相似文献

Let 𝒜 be an abelian category. A subcategory 𝒳 of 𝒜 is called coresolving if 𝒳 is closed under extensions and cokernels of monomorphisms and contains all injective objects of 𝒜. In this paper, we introduce and study Gorenstein coresolving categories, which unify the following notions: Gorenstein injective modules [8 Enochs, E. E., Jenda, O. M. G. (1995). Gorenstein injective and projective modules. Math. Z. 220:611633.[Crossref], [Web of Science ®] [Google Scholar]], Gorenstein FP-injective modules [20 Mao, L. X., Ding, N. Q. (2008). Gorenstein FP-injective and Gorenstein flat modules. J. Algebra Appl. 7:491506.[Crossref], [Web of Science ®] [Google Scholar]], Gorenstein AC-injective modules [3 Bravo, D., Gillespie, J. (2016). Absolutely clean, level, and Gorenstein AC-injective complexes. Commun. Algebra 44:22132233.[Taylor & Francis Online], [Web of Science ®] [Google Scholar]], and so on. Then we define a resolution dimension relative to the Gorenstein coresolving category 𝒢?𝒳(𝒜). We investigate the properties of the homological dimension and unify some important properties possessed by some known homological dimensions. In addition, we study stability of the Gorenstein coresolving category 𝒢?𝒳(𝒜) and apply the obtained properties to special subcategories and in particular to module categories.  相似文献

Let R be any ring. A right R-module M is called n-copure projective if Ext1(M, N) = 0 for any right R-module N with fd(N) ≤ n, and M is said to be strongly copure projective if Ext i (M, F) = 0 for all flat right R-modules F and all i ≥ 1. In this article, firstly, we present some general properties of n-copure projective modules and strongly copure projective modules. Then we define and investigate copure projective dimensions of modules and rings. Finally, more properties and applications of n-copure projective modules, strongly copure projective modules and copure projective dimensions are given over coherent rings with finite self-FP-injective dimension.  相似文献

Let R be an associative ring with identity. For a given class 𝒮 of finitely presented left (respectively right) R-modules containing R, we present a complete characterization of 𝒮-pure injective modules and 𝒮-pure flat modules. Consider that 𝒮 is a class of (R,R)-bimodules containing R with the following property: every element of 𝒮 is a finitely presented left and right R-module. We give a necessary and sufficient condition for 𝒮 to have Lazard’s theorem, and then we present our desired Lazard’s theorem.  相似文献

We say that a class 𝒫 of right modules over a fixed ring R is an epic class if it is closed under homomorphic images. For an arbitrary epic class 𝒫, we define a 𝒫-dimension of modules that measures how far modules are from the modules in the class 𝒫. For an epic class 𝒫 consisting of indecomposable modules, first we characterize rings whose modules have 𝒫-dimension. In fact, we show that every right R-module has 𝒫-dimension if and only if R is a semisimple Artinan ring. Then we study fully Hopfian modules with 𝒫-dimension. In particular, we show that a commutative ring R with 𝒫-dimension (resp. finite 𝒫-dimension) is either local or Noetherian (resp. Artinian). Finally, we show that Matm(R) is a right Köthe ring for some m if and only if every (left) right module is a direct sum of modules of 𝒫-dimension at most n for some n, if and only if R is a pure semisimple ring.  相似文献

Whereas Holm proved that the ring of differential operators on a generic hyperplane arrangement is finitely generated as an algebra, the problem of its Noetherian properties is still open. In this article, after proving that the ring of differential operators on a central arrangement is right Noetherian if and only if it is left Noetherian, we prove that the ring of differential operators on a central 2-arrangement is Noetherian. In addition, we prove that its graded ring associated to the order filtration is not Noetherian when the number of the consistuent hyperplanes is greater than 1.  相似文献

This article is a continuous work of [17 Hu , J. , Zhang , D. ( 2013 ). Weak AB-context for FP-injective modules with respect to semidualizing modules . J. Algebra Appl. 12 ( 7 ): 1350039 .[Crossref], [Web of Science ®] [Google Scholar]], where the coauthors introduced the notion of 𝒢-FP-injective R-modules. In this article, we define a notion of 𝒢-FP-injective dimension for complexes over left coherent rings. To investigate the relationships between 𝒢-FP-injective dimension and FP-injective dimension for complexes, the complete cohomology group bases on FP-injectives is given.  相似文献

Let A be a connected-graded algebra with trivial module 𝕜, and let B be a graded Ore extension of A. We relate the structure of the Yoneda algebra E(A): = Ext A (𝕜, 𝕜) to E(B). Cassidy and Shelton have shown that when A satisfies their 𝒦2 property, B will also be 𝒦2. We prove the converse of this result.  相似文献

Let R be a ring and 𝒲 a self-orthogonal class of left R-modules which is closed under finite direct sums and direct summands. A complex C of left R-modules is called a 𝒲-complex if it is exact with each cycle Z n (C) ∈ 𝒲. The class of such complexes is denoted by 𝒞𝒲. A complex C is called completely 𝒲-resolved if there exists an exact sequence of complexes D · = … → D ?1 → D 0 → D 1 → … with each term D i in 𝒞𝒲 such that C = ker(D 0 → D 1) and D · is both Hom(𝒞𝒲, ?) and Hom(?, 𝒞𝒲) exact. In this article, we show that C = … → C ?1 → C 0 → C 1 → … is a completely 𝒲-resolved complex if and only if C n is a completely 𝒲-resolved module for all n ∈ ?. Some known results are obtained as corollaries.  相似文献

In this paper, using Larsson’s functor with irreducible 𝔰𝔩2-modules V, we construct a class of ?2-graded modules for the Virasoro-like algebra and its q-analogs. We determine the irreducibility of these modules for finite-dimensional or infinite-dimensional V using a unified method. In particular, these modules provide new irreducible weight modules with infinite-dimensional weight spaces for the corresponding algebras.  相似文献
