Omni-Representations of Leibniz Algebras

In this paper,first we introduce the notion of an omni-representation of a Leibniz algebra g on a vector space V as a Leibniz algebra homomor-phism from g to the omni-Lie algebra gl(V)⊕ V.Then we introduce the omni-cohomology theory associated to omni-representations and establish the re-lation between omni-cohomology groups and Loday-Pirashvili cohomology groups.

Ext groups in the category of bimodules over a simple Leibniz algebra

In this article, we generalize Loday and Pirashvili's [11] computation of the Ext-category of Leibniz bimodules for a simple Lie algebra to the case of a simple (non Lie) Leibniz algebra. Most of the arguments generalize easily, while the main new ingredient is the Feldvoss-Wagemann's cohomology vanishing theorem for semi-simple Leibniz algebras.     

Structure of Degenerate Block Algebras

Given a non-trivial torsion-free abelian group (A,+,Q), a field F of characteristic 0, and a non-degenerate bi-additive skew-symmetric map : A A F, we define a Lie algebra = (A, ) over F with basis {e_x | x A/{0}} and Lie product [e_x,e_y] = (x,y)e_x+y. We show that is endowed uniquely with a non-degenerate symmetric invariant bilinear form and the derivation algebra Der of is a complete Lie algebra. We describe the double extension D(, T) of by T, where T is spanned by the locally finite derivations of , and determine the second cohomology group H²(D(, T),F) using anti-derivations related to the form on D(, T). A note on branching theorems

We prove that Hom possesses the structure of an irreducible -module whenever is . Moreover, for all and if and only if is commutative.

     

Conformal representations of Leibniz algebras

We study the embedding construction of Lie dialgebras (Leibniz algebras) into conformal algebras. This construction leads to the concept of a conformal representation of Leibniz algebras. We prove that each (finite-dimensional) Leibniz algebra possesses a faithful linear representation (of finite type). As a corollary we give a new proof of the Poincaré-Birkhoff-Witt theorem for Leibniz algebras.     

Non-abelian Tensor Product of Leibniz Algebras and an Exact Sequence in Leibniz Homology

Abstract

Let 𝔪 and 𝔫 be two-sided ideals of a Leibniz algebra 𝔤 such that 𝔤 = 𝔪 + 𝔫. The goal of the paper is to achieve the exact sequence Ker(𝔪  𝔫 + 𝔫  𝔪 → 𝔤) → HL ₂(𝔤) → HL ₂(𝔤/𝔪) ⊕ HL ₂(𝔤/𝔫) → 𝔪 ∩ 𝔫/ [𝔪,𝔫] → HL ₁(𝔤) → HL ₁(𝔤/𝔪) ⊕ HL ₁(𝔤/𝔫) → 0, where HL denotes the Leibniz homology with trivial coefficients of a Leibniz algebra and denotes a non-abelian tensor product of Leibniz algebras.
