A Criterion of p-Nilpotency of Finite Groups

Let G be a finite group and p a prime. In this article, we give a criterion of p-nilpotency of G by means of the normalizer and a generalization of normality of subgroups.

设$G$为一个有限群, $H$是$G$的一个子群. 称$H$在$G$中是$s$-半置换的若对$G$的任意Sylow $p$-子群$G_p$, $HG_p=G_pH$, 其中$(p, |H|)= 1$,这里$p$是整除$G$的阶一个素数.通过假设$G$的一些子群是$s$-半置换的, 我们给出了$p$-幂零群的一个判定准则. 我们的结果推广了著名的Burnside $p$-幂零群准则.     

有限群的s-条件置换子群

如果对群G的任意Sylow子群T,存在一个元素x∈G,使得HT~x=T~xH,那么称群G的子群H在G中s-条件置换．利用s-条件置换子群给出了一些群的性质和结构．     

恰有两个子群共轭类长的有限群

设G是有限群,Ns(G)表示G的子群共轭类长构成的集合.本文研究Ns(G)中只有两个元素时有限群G的结构,在非幂零情形时给出了G的完全分类,在幂零情形时获得了G的一些性质.     

Norm商群的Sylow子群皆循环的有限群

设$G$是有限群, $N(G)$为$G$的norm, 则$N(G)$是$G$的正规化G的每个子群的特征子群. 我们在下列条件之一下,研究了$G$的结构：1) Norm商群$G/N(G)$是循环群;2) Norm商群$G/N(G)$的所有Sylow子群都是循环群,特别地当$G/N(G)$的阶是无平方因子数时.     

A Note on c-Supplemented Subgroups of Finite Groups

A subgroup H of a finite group G is said to be c-supplemented in G if there exists a subgroup K of G such that G = HK and H ∩ K is contained in H _G , where H _G is the largest normal subgroup of G contained in H. In this article, we prove that G is solvable if every subgroup of prime odd order of G is c-supplemented in G. Moreover, we prove that G is solvable if and only if every Sylow subgroup of odd order of G is c-supplemented in G. These results improve and extend the classical results of Hall's articles of (1937) and the recent results of Ballester-Bolinches and Guo's article of (1999), Ballester-Bolinches et al.'s article of (2000), and Asaad and Ramadan's article of (2008).     

有限群的c-半置换子群

研究了有限群的结构问题,利用子群c-半置换和完全c-半置换的定义和性质,通过对有限群sylow子群的2-极大子群的研究,获得了有限群幂零、p-幂零的充分条件和另外两个决定群结构的充要条件.     

有限CN-群与有限c-可补群*

有限群G的子群H称为G的c-可补子群(c-正规子群),如果存在G的子群(正规子群)N, 使得 G = NH 且 N\cap H \leq H_G,这里 H_G =\bigcap\limits_g\in G H^g 是 H 在 G 中的核.每个子群都c-可补(c-正规)的有限群称为有限c-可补群(CN-群).本文研究有限CN-群与有限c-可补群, 获得了CN- 群与c-可补群的一些新的结果.特别地, 在方法上有一定的创新, 完善近期关于CN-群的研究.     

On SQ-Supplemented Subgroups of Finite Groups

Let G be a finite group and H ≤ G. The subgroup H is called: S-permutable in G if HP = PH for all Sylow subgroups P of G; S-permutably embedded in G if each Sylow subgroup of H is also a Sylow subgroup of some S-permutable subgroup of G.

Let H be a subgroup of a group G. Then we say that H is SQ-supplemented in G if G has a subgroup T and an S-permutably embedded subgroup C ≤ H such that HT = G and T ∩ H ≤ C.

We study the structure of G under the assumption that some subgroups of G are SQ-supplemented in G. Some known results are generalized.     

Finite Groups with S-permutable n-maximal Subgroups

Let G be a finite group and M _n (G) be the set of n-maximal subgroups of G, where n is an arbitrary given positive integer. Suppose that M _n (G) contains a nonidentity member and all members in M _n (G) are S-permutable in G. Then any of of the following conditions guarantees the supersolvability of G: (1) M _n (G) contains a nonidentity member whose order is not a prime; (2) all nonidentity members in M _n (G) are of prime order, and all cyclic members in M _n?1(G) of order 4 are S-permutable in G.     

Finite Groups with Unique n-Maximal Subgroup

The aim of this note is to classify the finite groups with unique n-maximal subgroup.     

On Nearly SS-Embedded Subgroups of Finite Groups

Let H be a subgroup of a finite group G. H is nearly SS-embedded in G if there exists an S-quasinormal subgroup K of G, such that HK is S-quasinormal in G and H ∩ K ≤ HseG, where HseG is the subgroup of H, generated by all those subgroups of H which are S-quasinormally embedded in G. In this paper, the authors investigate the influence of nearly SS-embedded subgroups on the structure of finite groups.     

Finite Groups with Subnormal Schmidt Subgroups

We study finite groups some of whose Schmidt subgroups (the minimal nonnilpotent subgroups) are subnormal.     

具有若干$c_p$-可补子群的有限群

设$H$为有限群$G$的子群且$p$为整除群$G$的阶的素因子. 我们称$H$在$G$中为$c_p$-可补的,如果$G$中存在$H$的包含$H_G$的补子群$T$使得$H\cap T/H_G$为$p''$-群, 其中$H_G$为$H$在$G$中的核. 群$G$ 称$CS_p$-群, 如果$G$的所有$p$-子群都在$G$中$c_p$-可补. 本文,我们刻画具有若干$c_p$-可补$p$-子群的有限群的$p$-可解性和$p$-超可解性. 此外,我们给出$p$-可解群为$CS_p$-群的若干等价条件. 最后, 我们给出两个$CS_p$-群的直积为$CS_p$-群的判别准则. 我们的结果推广了近期的若干结论.     

An Analog for the Frattini Factorization of Finite Groups

Using the classification of finite simple groups, we prove that if H is an insoluble normal subgroup of a finite group G, then H contains a maximal soluble subgroup S such that G=HN_G(S). Thereby Problem 14.62 in the Kourovka Notebook is given a positive solution. As a consequence, it is proved that in every finite group, there exists a subgroup that is simultaneously a -projector and a -injector in the class, , of all soluble groups.     

On c-Normal Subgroups of Finite Groups

Let G be a finite group. We fix in every noncyclic Sylow subgroup P of G some subgroup D satisfying 1 < |D| < |P| and study the structure of G under the assumption that all subgroups H of P with |H| = |D| are c-normal in G.     

A Note on Solitary Subgroups of Finite Groups

We say that a subgroup H of a finite group G is solitary (respectively, normal solitary) when it is a subgroup (respectively, normal subgroup) of G such that no other subgroup (respectively, normal subgroup) of G is isomorphic to H. A normal subgroup N of a group G is said to be quotient solitary when no other normal subgroup K of G gives a quotient isomorphic to G/N. We show some new results about lattice properties of these subgroups and their relation with classes of groups and present examples showing a negative answer to some questions about these subgroups.     

On Some Groups with Finite Involution Saturated with Finite Simple Groups

In the paper, on the basis of the notion of saturation introduced in [1], we give a characterization of locally finite simple groups with an Abelian Sylow 2-subgroup in the classes of mixed and periodic groups. A part of the main results was announced in [2]. Theorem 2 of the paper generalizes results of [3, 4].
