The crystal structure of a polymorph of 4‐aminobenzoic acid (PABA), C7H7NO2, at 100 K is noncentrosymmetric, as opposed to centrosymmetric in the structures of the other known polymorphs. The two crystallographically independent PABA molecules form pseudocentrosymmetric O—H...O hydrogen‐bonded dimers that are further linked by N—H...O hydrogen bonds into a three‐dimensional network. The benzene rings stack in the b direction. The CO2 moieties are bent out slightly from the benzene ring plane. 相似文献

In the crystal structure of (R)‐N,N‐diisopropyl‐3‐(2‐hydroxy‐5‐methylphenyl)‐3‐phenylpropylaminium (2R,3R)‐hydrogen tartrate, C22H32NO+·C4H5O6−, the hydrogen tartrate anions are linked by O—H⋯O hydrogen bonds to form helical chains built from (9) rings. These chains are linked by the tolterodine molecules via N—H⋯O and O—H⋯O hydrogen bonds to form separate sheets parallel to the (101) plane. 相似文献

The synthesis of 46 derivatives of (2R,3R,4S)‐2‐(aminomethyl)pyrrolidine‐3,4‐diol is reported (Scheme 1 and Fig. 3), and their inhibitory activities toward α‐mannosidases from jack bean (B) and almonds (A) are evaluated (Table). The most‐potent inhibitors are (2R,3R,4S)‐2‐{[([1,1′‐biphenyl]‐4‐ylmethyl)amino]methyl}pyrrolidine‐3,4‐diol ( 3fs ; IC50(B)=5 μM , Ki=2.5 μM ) and (2R,3R,4S)‐2‐{[(1R)‐2,3‐dihydro‐1H‐inden‐1‐ylamino]methyl}pyrrolidine‐3,4‐diol ( 3fu ; IC50(B)=17 μM , Ki=2.3 μM ). (2S,3R,4S)‐2‐(Aminomethyl)pyrrolidine‐3,4‐diol ( 6 , R?H) and the three 2‐(N‐alkylamino)methyl derivatives 6fh, 6fs , and 6f are prepared (Scheme 2) and found to inhibit also α‐mannosidases from jack bean and almonds (Table). The best inhibitor of these series is (2S,3R,4S)‐2‐{[(2‐thienylmethyl)amino]methyl}pyrrolidine‐3,4‐diol ( 6o ; IC50(B)=105 μM , Ki=40 μM ). As expected (see Fig. 4), diamines 3 with the configuration of α‐D ‐mannosides are better inhibitors of α‐mannosidases than their stereoisomers 6 with the configuration of β‐D ‐mannosides. The results show that an aromatic ring (benzyl, [1,1′‐biphenyl]‐4‐yl, 2‐thienyl) is essential for good inhibitory activity. If the C‐chain that separates the aromatic system from the 2‐(aminomethyl) substituent is longer than a methano group, the inhibitory activity decreases significantly (see Fig. 7). This study shows also that α‐mannosidases from jack bean and from almonds do not recognize substrate mimics that are bulky around the O‐glycosidic bond of the corresponding α‐D ‐mannopyranosides. These observations should be very useful in the design of better α‐mannosidase inhibitors. 相似文献

Esterification of a single diastereomer of 2‐(4‐methylenecyclohex‐2‐enyl)propanol, (II), with (1R,4S)‐(+)‐camphanic acid [(1R,4S)‐4,7,7‐trimethyl‐3‐oxo‐2‐oxabicyclo[2.2.1]heptane‐1‐carboxylic acid] leads to the crystalline title compound, C20H28O4. The relative configuration of the camphanate was determined by X‐ray diffraction analysis. The outcome clarifies the relative and absolute stereochemistry of the naturally occurring bisabolane sesquiterpenes β‐turmerone and β‐sesquiphellandrene, since we have converted (II) into both natural products via a stereospecific route. 相似文献

N‐Salicylideneaniline (SA), C13H11NO, belongs to the large family of aromatic Schiff bases. It is of particular importance owing to its reversible photoreactivity. SA forms two photochromic polymorphs, both with two non‐coplanar benzene rings. In addition, we have recently discovered a planar polymorph, named the β‐polymorph, which will be discussed in a subsequent paper. We report here the structure of the α2‐polymorph in the orthorhombic crystal system. This compound exhibits a strong intramolecular O—H⋯N hydrogen bond and the dihedral angle between the two rings varies with temperature. 相似文献

In the title compound, C15H24O3, derived from a naturally occurring sesquiterpenoid, the asymmetric unit consists of two molecules differing by 167.4 (8)° in the rotational conformation of the carboxyl group. Each molecule aggregates separately with its own type as carboxyl‐to‐ketone hydrogen‐bonding catemers [O⋯O = 2.715 (6) and 2.772 (6) Å, and O—H⋯O = 169 and 168°]. This generates two crystallographically independent single‐strand hydrogen‐bonding helices passing through the cell in the b direction, with opposite end‐to‐end orientations. One intermolecular C—H⋯O=C close contact exists for the carboxyl group of one of the molecules. The structure is isostructural with that of a closely related unsaturated keto acid reported previously. 相似文献

Dizinc selenium dichloride trioxide, β‐Zn2(SeO3)Cl2, a monoclinic polymorph of the orthorhombic mineral sophiite, has a structure built of distorted ZnO4Cl2 octahedra, ZnO2Cl2 tetrahedra and SeO3E tetrahedra (E being the 4s2 lone pair of the SeIV ion), joined through shared edges and corners to form charge‐neutral layers. The Cl atoms and the Se lone pairs protrude from each layer towards adjacent layers. The main structural difference between the mineral and synthetic polymorphs lies in the packing of the layers. 相似文献

The title chiral compound, 3‐aminocarbonyl‐1,2,2‐trimethylcyclopentane‐1‐carboxylic acid, C10H17NO3, was prepared from (1R,3S)‐camphoric acid. The five‐membered ring adopts a conformation which is intermediate between a twist and an envelope. Elongations of the C—C bonds and contractions of the C—C—C bond angles are observed within the five‐membered ring. A 1H NMR spectrum was recorded to assist in distinguishing the amide group from the carboxyl group. 相似文献

The title compound, C21H26FN3O7, is assembled by N—H...O and O—H...O hydrogen bonds into well‐separated two‐dimensional layers of about 15 Å thickness. The crescent conformation of the molecules is stabilized by weak intramolecular C—H...O and C—H...F hydrogen bonds. The uridine moiety adopts an anti conformation. The ribofuranose ring exists in an envelope conformation. All the endocyclic uracil bonds are shorter than normal single C—N and C—C bonds, and five of them have comparable lengths, which implies a considerable degree of delocalization of the electron density within this ring. 相似文献

A novel template was synthesized for stabilizing β‐hairpin conformations in cyclic peptide mimetics. The template is a diketopiperazine derived formally from L ‐aspartic acid and (2S,3R,4R)‐diaminoproline, the latter being available by an efficient synthetic route from vitamin C. The template was incorporated by solid‐phase peptide synthesis into a cyclic loop mimetic containing the sequence (‐Ala‐Asn‐Pro‐Asn‐Ala‐Ala‐template‐). This mimetic was shown by NMR to adopt a stable β‐hairpin conformation in (D6)DMSO solution. The template may prove to be generally useful for creating small‐molecule mimetics of hairpin loops on proteins of diverse function. 相似文献

The structure of a new polymorph of the title compound, C10H13ClN2O3S, known as the antidiabetic drug chlorpropamide, is monoclinic, in contrast with the two previously described orthorhombic α‐ and β‐forms. The molecules in the γ‐polymorph are linked into bands by hydrogen bonds similar to those in the α‐polymorph. The conformation of the molecules in the γ‐form is close to that in the β‐polymorph. 相似文献

The preparation of three new N‐Fmoc‐protected (Fmoc=[(9H‐fluoren‐9‐yl)methoxy]carbonyl) β2‐homoamino acids with proteinogenic side chains (from Ile, Tyr, and Met) is described, the key step being a diastereoselective amidomethylation of the corresponding Ti‐enolates of 3‐acyl‐4‐isopropyl‐5,5‐diphenyloxazolidin‐2‐ones with CbzNHCH2OMe/TiCl4 (Cbz=(benzyloxy)carbonyl) in yields of 60–70% and with diastereoselectivities of >90%. Removal of the chiral auxiliary with LiOH or NaOH gives the N‐Cbz‐protected β‐amino acids, which were subjected to an N‐Cbz/N‐Fmoc (Fmoc=[(9H‐fluoren‐9‐yl)methoxy]carbonyl) protective‐group exchange. The method is suitable for large‐scale preparation of Fmoc‐β2hXaa‐OH for solid‐phase syntheses of β‐peptides. The Fmoc‐amino acids and all compounds leading to them have been fully characterized by melting points, optical rotations, IR, 1H‐ and 13C‐NMR, and mass spectra, as well as by elemental analyses. 相似文献

Synthesis and Crystal Structures of α‐, β‐Ba3(PS4)2 and Ba3(PSe4)2 Ba3(PS4)2 and Ba3(PSe4)2 were prepared by heating mixtures of the elements at 800 °C for 25 h. Both compounds were investigated by single crystal X‐ray methods. The thiophosphate is dimorphic and undergoes a displacive phase transition at about 75 °C. Both modifications crystallize in new structure types. In the room temperature phase (α‐Ba3(PS4)2: P21/a; a = 11.649(3), b = 6.610(1), c = 17.299(2) Å, β = 90.26(3)°; Z = 4) three crystallographically independent Ba atoms are surrounded by ten sulfur atoms forming distorted polyhedra. The arrangement of the PS4 tetrahedra, isolated from each other, is comparable with the formation of the SO42? ions of β‐K2SO4. In β‐Ba3(PS4)2 (C2/m; a = 11.597(2), b = 6.727(1), c = 8.704(2) Å; β = 90.00(3)°; Z = 2) the PS4 tetrahedra are no more tilted along [001], but oriented parallel to each other inducing less distorted tetrahedra and polyhedra around the Ba atoms, respectively. Ba3(PSe4)2 (P21/a; a = 12.282(2), b = 6.906(1), c = 18.061(4) Å; β = 90.23(3)°; Z = 4) is isotypic to α‐Ba3(PS4)2 and no phase transition could be detected up to about 550 °C. 相似文献
