利用红外光源浮区法生长出大尺寸、高质量的磁失措自旋冰化合物Dy2Ti2O7单晶体.X射线衍射实验证实晶体具有面心立方结构,空间群为Fd3m,晶胞参数a=1.0112(2) nm,[111]和[400]方向X射线衍射摇摆曲线半高宽分别仅为0.07°和0.05°.直流磁化率与温度关系测量给出晶体的Van Vleck顺磁因子为2.46×10-5 m3/mol,有效磁矩μeff=10.24(4)μB,Cure-Weiss温度ΘCW=1.1 K,揭示Dy2Ti2O7具有弱的铁磁性.对磁性起源的综合分析表明,该自旋冰晶体磁性质主要来源于磁偶极相互作用,且相关最近邻长程偶极相互作用能量标度Dnn=3.00 K. 关键词: 2Ti2O7')" href="#">Dy2Ti2O7 浮区法晶体生长 关联电子系统 自旋冰  相似文献

通过对La0.3Ca0.7Mn1-xVxO3(x=0.05,0.10,0.134,0.20)体系的M-T曲线、ρ-T曲线、ESR谱的测量,研究了Mn位掺V对La0.3Ca0.7MnO3体系电荷序和自旋序的影响.结果表明,当0.05≤x≤0.134时, 体系存在电荷有序(CO)相,其自旋序随温度降低发生顺磁(PM)-电荷有序(CO)-反铁磁(AFM)变化.当x=0.20时,CO相逐步融化,在40 K发生自旋玻璃转变,表现出再入型的自旋玻璃行为,低温下的基态存在着多种复杂的磁相互作用之间的竞争机理. 关键词: 电荷有序 自旋序 相分离 再入型自旋玻璃行为  相似文献

系统研究了室温下Tb0.3Dy0.6Pr0.1(Fe1-xAlx1.95x=0.05,0.1,0.15,0.2,0.25,0.3)合金中元素Al替代Fe对结构、磁性、磁致伸缩性能和自旋重取向的影响.测量结果发现,x<0.2时Tb0.3Dy0.6Pr0.1(Fe1-xAlx1.95合金基本上是纯的单相,x=0.2时出现其他杂相,杂相随Al替代量的增加不断增多.随Al替代量x的增加,点阵常数a接近于线性增大,Curie温度TC逐渐下降,而矫顽力Hc急剧下降.振动样品磁强计(VSM)测量发现,磁化强度M随Al替代量x的变化较为复杂.VSM计和磁致伸缩效应测量共同表明,少量Al的替代有利于降低磁晶各向异性,而且随着Al替代量x的增多磁致伸缩系数快速减小,x>0.15时巨磁致伸缩效应消失.穆斯堡尔效应研究发现,随Al含量的增加Tb0.3Dy0.6Pr0.1(Fe1-xAlx1.95合金中易磁化轴可能在{110}面逐渐偏离了立方晶体的主对称轴,发生自旋重取向,从而引起合金宏观磁性、磁致伸缩性能的变化. 关键词: 磁致伸缩 立方Laves相 自旋重取向 穆斯堡尔谱  相似文献

The effect of Al substitution for Fe on crystal structure, magnetostriction and spontaneous magnetostriction, anisotropy and spin reorientation of a series of polycrystalline Tb0.3Dy0.7(Fe1-xAlx)1.95 alloys (x = 0, 0.05, 0.1, 0.15, 0.20, 0.25, 0.30, 0.35) at room temperature and 77 K was investigated systematically. It was found that the primary phase of Tb0.3Dy0.7(Fe1-xAlx)1.95 is the MgCu2-type cubic Laves phase structure when x < 0.4 and the lattice constant a of Tb0.3Dy0.7(Fe1-xAlx)1.95 increases approximately and monotonically with the increase of x. The substitution of Al leads to the fact that the magnetostriction ( inceases slightly in a low magnetic field (H ≤ 40 kA/m), but decreases sharply and is easily close to saturation in a high applied field as x increases, showing that a small amount of Al substitution is beneficial to a decrease in the magnetocrystalline anisotropy. It was also found that the spontaneous magnetostriction (ζ)111 decreases greatly with x increasing. The analysis of the M(o)ssbauer spectra indicated that the easy magnetization direction in the {110} plane deviates slightly from the main axis of symmetry with the changes of composition and temperature, namely spin reorientation. A small amount of non-magnetic phase exists for x = 0.15 in Tb0.3Dy0.7(Fe1-xAlx)1.95 alloys and the alloys become paramagnetic for x > 0.15 at room temperture, but at 77 K the alloys still remain magnetic phase even for x = 0.2. At room temperature and 77 K, the hyperfine field decreases and the isomer shifts increase with Al concentration increasing.  相似文献

A temporal evolution of spin signals has been observed in nanoscale Co/Cu nonlocal spin valves. The spin diffusion length of Cu increases from ∼300 to ∼350 nm measured at 295 K over a 50-day period in the ambient environment after the fabrication of the devices. This is attributed to a gradual oxidation in the regions near the side surfaces of the Cu channel, where Co impurities are implanted during the fabrication. An increase of spin injection polarization is also found and attributed to the change of oxidation states at the interfaces.  相似文献

We have performed magnetization measurements and electron spin resonance (ESR) on polycrystalline manganites of Nd0.5Sr0.5-xBaxMnO3 (x = 0.1). Phase separation and phase transitions are observed from the susceptibility and the ESR spectra data. Between 260 K (~ Tc) and 185 K (~ TN), the system coexists of the paramagnetic phase and the ferromagnetic (FM) phase. Between 185 K and 140 K, the system coexists of the FM phase and the antiferromagnetic (AFM) phase. These results indicate that the system has a very complex magnetic state due to the origin of the instability stemming from manganite Nd0.5Sr0.4Ba0.1MnO3 by partially substituting the larger Ba^2+ ions for the smaller Sr^2+ ions.  相似文献

The spin liquid properties of Gd3Ga5O12 have been examined using 155Gd M?ssbauer spectroscopy down to 0.027 K. Information has been obtained concerning both the directional properties of the short range correlated moments and the thermal dependence of their spin fluctuation rates. Each Gd3+ spin (S=7/2) is found to be confined to a plane and its fluctuation rate decreases from approximately 2.8 x 10(9) s(-1) at 0.4 K to approximately 0.03 x 10(9) s(-1) at 0.09 K following a close-to-quadratic thermal dependence.  相似文献

The spin-transfer effect has been achieved in nanoscale metallic nonlocal spin valves. A magnetic domain (∼70×150 nm2) in an extended wire can be switched by a pure spin current between 4.5 and 200 K. The dipolar coupling between the magnetic spin injector (F1) and spin detector (F2), the surface anisotropy of the thin F2 layer, and the thermal instability of F2 generates complex switching characteristics. Analysis of the results allows for detailed understanding of magnetic configurations during the current-sweep and the field-sweep measurements. The critical current (Ic) for spin-transfer switching gradually decreases as the temperature increases. The Ic+ for the transition from parallel (P) state to antiparallel (AP) state decreases faster than the Ic for the transition from AP to P due to the dipolar coupling. Above 200 K, the dipolar coupling and the thermal instability prevents a stable P state in the absence of an external field.  相似文献

Highly oriented(00l)(La_(0.26)Bi_(0.74))_2Ti_4O_(11 )thin films are deposited on(100) SrTiO_(3 )substrates using the pulsed laser deposition technique.The grains form a texture of bar-like arrays along Sr Ti O_3110directions for the film thickness above 350 nm,in contrast to spherical grains for the reduced film thickness below 220 nm.X-ray diffraction patterns show that the highly ordered bar-like grains are the ensemble of two lattice-matched monoclinic(La,Bi)_4Ti_3O_(12 )and TiO_(2 )components above a critical film thickness.Otherwise,the phase decomposes into the random mixture of Bi_2Ti_2O_(7 )and Bi_4Ti_3O_(4 )spherical grains in thinner films.The critical thickness can increase up to 440 nm as the films are deposited on LaNiO_3-buffered SrTiO_(3 )substrates.The electrical measurements show the dielectric enhancement of the multi-components,and comprehensive charge injection into interfacial traps between(La,Bi)_4Ti_3O_(12 )and TiO_(2 )components occurs under the application of a threshold voltage for the realization of high-charge storage.  相似文献

Spin-lattice relaxation of (129)Xe nuclei in solid natural xenon has been investigated in detail over a large range of paramagnetic O(2) impurity concentrations. Direct measurements of the ground state magnetic properties of the O(2) are difficult because the ESR (electron spin resonance) lines of O(2) are rather unstructured, but NMR measurements in the liquid helium temperature region (1.4-4 K) are very sensitive to the effective magnetic moments associated with the spin 1 Zeeman levels of the O(2) molecules and to the O(2) magnetic relaxation. From these measurements, the value of the D[Sz(2)-(1/3)S(2)] spin-Hamiltonian term of the triplet spin ground state of O(2) can be determined. The temperature and magnetic field dependence of the measured paramagnetic O(2)-induced excess line width of the (129)Xe NMR signal agree well with the theoretical model with the spin-Hamiltonian D=0.19 meV (2.3 K), and with the reasonable assumption that the E[S(x)(2)-S(y)(2)] spin-Hamiltonian term is close to 0 meV. An anomalous temperature dependence between 1.4 K and 4.2K of the (129)Xe spin-lattice relaxation rate, T(1n)(-1)(T), is also accounted for by our model. Using an independent determination of the true O(2) concentration in the Xe-O(2) solid, the effective spin lattice relaxation time (which will be seen to be transition dependent) of the O(2) at 2.3 K and 0.96 T is determined to be approximately 1.4 x 10(-8)s. The experimental results, taken together with the relaxation model, suggest routes for bringing highly spin-polarized (129)Xe from the low temperature condensed phase to higher temperatures without excessive depolarization.  相似文献

A new compound with one-dimensional spin chains, Ba9Co3Se(15), was synthesized under high pressure and high temperature conditions and systematically characterized via structural, transport and magnetic measurements. Ba9Co3Se(15) crystallizes in a hexagonal structure with the space group P-6c2(No. 188) and lattice constants of a = b = 9.6765 ? and c = 18.9562 ?. The structure consists of trimeric face-sharing octahedral CoSe6 chains, which are arranged in a triangular lattice in the ab-plane and separated by Ba atoms. The distance of the nearest neighbor of CoSe6 chains is very large, given by the lattice constant a = 9.6765 ?. The Weiss temperature Tθ associated with the intra-chain coupling strength is about -346 K. However, no long-range magnetic order but a spin glass transition at ~ 3 K has been observed. Our results indicate that the spin glass behavior in Ba9Co3Se(15) mainly arises from the magnetic frustration due to the geometrically frustrated triangular lattice.  相似文献

The effect of Eu3+ion doping in the La sites of single-crystal La4/3Sr5/3Mn2O7was investigated. Electron spin resonance(ESR) was applied to La4/3Sr5/3Mn2O7and(La0.8Eu0.2)4/3Sr5/3Mn2O7single crystals. A phase separation and phase transitions were observed from the ESR spectra data. Between 350 K and 300 K, both paramagnetic resonance(PMR)and anisotropic ferromagnetic resonance(FMR) lines were observed in the ab plane and the c axis direction, suggesting a coexistence of the paramagnetic(PM) phase and the ferromagnetic(FM) phase. The magnetization measurement reveals a spin-glass-like behavior in single-crystal(La0.8Eu0.2)4/3Sr5/3Mn2O7below the temperature of spin freezing Tf(~ 29.5 K).  相似文献
