The synthesis of a new sandwich lutetium(III) bisphthalocyanine substituted with hexylthio groups (1), [(C6H1)S)8-Pc]2Lu, is described. The compound is very soluble in most common organic solvents and has been fully characterized (elemental analysis, IR, 1H and 13C NMR, UV-vis spectroscopy, mass spectrometry). The chemically oxidized and reduced forms have been formed and characterized. The crystal structure of the compound (1) has been determined by X-ray diffraction on a single crystal. It crystallizes in the monoclinic space group C2/c with a = 31.558(2) A, b = 32.755(2) A, c = 20.489(1) A, beta = 127.119(1) degrees, and Z = 4. The temperature dependence of the magnetic susceptibility, measured on polycrystalline samples and in the range 6-300 K, is in agreement with one unpaired electron per molecular unit as found for the unsubstituted derivative. The magnetic results can be modeled assuming one-dimensional chain of spin S = 1/2 with g = 2.04 and an antiferromagnetic coupling (J = -11.83 cm(-1), H = -2JSigmaSiSj).  相似文献

The syntheses of new octakis (alkylthio)-substituted phthalocyanines of Pb(II) (1a and 2a) are described. These compounds are very soluble in most common organic solvents. They have been fully characterized using elemental analysis, NMR, infrared and UV–Vis spectroscopy. The mesogenic properties of these new materials were studied by differential scanning calorimetry and optical microscopy. These phthalocyanine derivatives are liquid at room temperature and form columnar-hexagonal (Colh) mesophases below −10 °C. It has been indicated that the addition of methylene bridges to the phthalocyanine (Pc) core increases the clearing point temperatures. Also, the coordination of Pb2+ with the phthalocyanine core decreases the clearing point temperatures and the liquid crystal phase transition temperatures. Thin films of octakis(alkylthio)-substituted Pb(II) phthalocyanines 1a and 2a were prepared by the method of spin-coating. To obtain films with an ordered structure the film of 1a was slowly cooled from room temperature down to −10 °C. Sandwich structures of the form Au/PbPc(1a)/Au were prepared for the investigation of their electrical properties. It was shown that a slowly cooled Au/PbPc(1a)/Au structure demonstrates repeatable and stable electrical switching behaviour for applied bias voltages between −1 V and +1 V.  相似文献

New 2-acyl-1,3-indandione derivatives, compounds 1–4, were obtained by condensation of 2-acetyl-1,3-indandione with benzaldehyde, thiophene-2-aldehyde, thiophene-3-aldehyde and furane-2-aldehyde, respectively. The structures of the newly synthesized 2-substituted 1,3-indandiones were characterized by means of spectroscopic methods (FT-IR, 1H and 13C NMR, UV-Vis and MS). Based on the obtained results it is suggested that the compounds exist in the exocyclic enolic form. Mass spectral fragmentation paths are also proposed. In order to verify the possibility for tautomerization processes of the newly synthesized compounds their absorption spectra were recorded in various solvents. Furthermore, the complexation properties of the compounds with metal(II) ions were also studied. A series of non-charged complexes with Cu(II), Cd(II), Zn(II), Co(II) and Ni(II) was isolated and analyzed by elemental analyses and IR. The paramagnetic Cu(II) complexes were studied by EPR and distorted, flattened tetrahedral structures are predicted. The other metal complexes show the presence of water molecules, most probably coordinated to the metal ion, thus forming octahedral geometry. Ultimately, the studied properties of the newly synthesized compounds, 1–4, suggest that they may find application as extracting agents for metal ions, rather than as optical sensors.   相似文献

Nine fluoroalkoxyl phthalocyanine metal complexes (Zn, AlCl, Mg, Co, Cu, FeCl) were synthesized from 4-(polyfluoroalkoxyl) phthalic anhydride. The fat-soluble phthalocyanines were characterized by elemental analysis, IR, 1H NMR and fast-atom-bombardment mass spectroscopy. Zinc and aluminum chloride complexes show higher photooxidation ability in solution containing 20% perfluorocarbons than in hydrocarbon solvents.  相似文献

By cross-condensation of 4,5-bis(phenylsulfanyl)phthalonitrile (A) with tetrafluorophthalo-nitrile (B) in the presence of nickel acetate nickel phthalocyanines of the type A4, A3B, ABAB, AABB were synthesized. Their spectral properties were studied and the propensity to association in benzene solutions was revealed. The concentration of complexes where the association becomes notable decreases with the increased dipole moment of the phthalocyanine.  相似文献

Octa(benzo-15-crown-5)-substituted phthalocyanine and its complexes with d-metals (NiII, CoII, CuII, ZnII, and CdII) have been synthesized for the first time. The compounds were studied by UV—Vis spectroscopy, MALDI-TOF mass spectrometry, NMR, ESR, IR spectroscopy, and Raman spectroscopy. The dependence of the spectral characteristics of the studied compounds on the ion radius of the complexing agent was demonstrated. Published in Russian in Izvestiya Akademii Nauk. Three (1,8,15,22-tetrasubstituted phthalocyaninato)lead complexes Pb[Pc(alpha-OR)(4)] [H(2)Pc(alpha-OC(5)H(11))(4) = 1,8,15,22-tetrakis(3-pentyloxy)phthalocyanine; H(2)Pc(alpha-OC(7)H(15))(4) = 1,8,15,22-tetrakis(2,4-dimethyl-3-pentyloxy)phthalocyanine; H(2)Pc(alpha-OC(10)H(7))(4) = 1,8,15,22-tetrakis(2-naphthyloxy)phthalocyanine] (1-3) have been prepared as racemic mixtures by treating the corresponding metal-free phthalocyanines H(2)Pc(alpha-OR)(4) (4-6) with Pb(OAc)(2).3H(2)O in refluxing n-pentanol. The molecular structure of Pb[Pc(alpha-OC(5)H(11))(4)] (1) in the solid state has been determined by single-crystal X-ray diffraction analysis. This compound, having a nonplanar structure, crystallizes in the monoclinic system with a P2(1)/c space group. Each unit cell contains two pairs of enantiomeric molecules, which are linked by weak coordination of the Pb atom of one molecule with an aza nitrogen atom and its neighboring oxygen atom from the alkoxy substituent of another molecule, forming a pseudo-double-decker supramolecular structure in the crystals with a short ring-to-ring separation, 2.726 A, and thus a strong ring-ring pi-pi interaction. The decreased molecular symmetry for these complexes has also been revealed by the NMR spectra of 1 and 2. The methyl protons of the 3-pentyloxy and 2,4-dimethyl-3-pentyloxy side chains of 1 and 2, respectively, are chemically inequivalent. In addition to the elemental analysis and various spectroscopic characterizations, these compounds have also been electrochemically studied. Two one-electron oxidations and up to five one-electron reductions have been revealed by cyclic voltammetry (CV) and differential pulse voltammetry (DPV) methods.  相似文献

Rare-earth metal alkyl tri(tert-butoxy)silanolate complexes [Ln{mu,eta2-OSi(O(t)Bu)3}(CH2SiMe3)2]2 (Ln = Y (1), Tb (2), Lu (3)) were prepared via protonolysis of the appropriate tris(alkyl) complex [Ln(CH2SiMe3)3(thf)2] with tri(tert-butoxy)silanol in pentane. Crystal structure analysis revealed a dinuclear structure for with square pyramidal geometry at the yttrium centre. The silanolate ligand coordinates in an eta2-bridging coordination mode giving a 4-rung truncated ladder and non-crystallographic inversion centre. Addition of two equiv. of 12-crown-4 to a pentane solution of 1 or 3 respectively gave [Ln{OSi(O(t)Bu)(3)}(CH2SiMe3)2(12-crown-4)].12-crown-4 (Ln = Y (4), Lu (5)). Crystal structure analysis of 5 showed a slightly distorted octahedral geometry at the lutetium centre. The silanolate ligand adopts an eta(1)-terminal coordination mode, whilst the crown ether unit coordinates in an unusual kappa3-fashion. Reaction of 1-3 with [NEt3H]+[BPh4]- in thf yielded the cationic derivatives [Ln{OSi(O(t)Bu)3}(CH2SiMe3)(thf)4]+[BPh4]- (Ln = Y (6), Tb (7) and Lu (8)); coordination of crown ether led to compounds of the form [Ln{OSi(O(t)Bu)3}(CH2SiMe3)(L)(thf)n]+[BPh4]- (Ln = Y, Lu, L = 12-crown-4, n = 1 (9,10); Ln = Y, Lu, L = 15-crown-5, n = 0 (11,12)). Reaction of 1 with [NMe2PhH]+[B(C6F5)4]-, [Al(CH2SiMe3)3] or BPh3 in thf gave the ion pairs [Y{OSi(O(t)Bu)3}(CH2SiMe3)(thf)4]+[A]- ([A]- = [B(C6F5)4]- (13), [Al(CH2SiMe3)4]- (14), [BPh3(CH2SiMe3)]- (15)), whilst two equiv. [NMe2PhH]+[BPh4]- with 1 in thf produced the dicationic ion triple [Y{OSi(O(t)Bu)3}(thf)6]2+[BPh4]-2 (16). Crystal structure analysis revealed that 16 is mononuclear with pentagonal bipyramidal geometry at the yttrium centre. The silanolate ligand coordinates in an eta(1)-terminal fashion. All diamagnetic compounds have been characterized by NMR spectroscopy. 1, 3, 4, 6 and 13 were tested as olefin hydrosilylation pre-catalysts with a variety of substrates; 1 was found to be highly active in 1-decene hydrosilylation.  相似文献

New trinuclear carbonato-bridged copper(II) complexes, [Cu3(Bipy)63-CO3)](CF3SO3)4(H2O)0.5 (I) and [Cu3(Phen)63-CO3)](CF3SO3)4(H2O)0.5 (II) (Bipy = 2,2′-bipyridine and Phen = 1,10-phenanthroline), have been synthesized and characterized by X-ray crystallography. In the trinuclear units, a carbonate anion triply bridges three Cu atoms in a μ3111-CO3 mode. The environment around each copper(II) center is five-coordinate ranging between intermediate to distorted square-pyramidal geometry. In the crystal packing, the molecule of I is involved in a variety of intra/intermolecular non-covalent interactions such as intra/intermolecular stacking and CH···π interactions between the pyridine groups of the chelated ligand, leading to a one-dimensional arrangement of I. In complex II, the molecule is involved in both intra- and intermolecular Phen-Phen π-stacking, forming a three-dimensional network. The spectroscopic (IR, diffuse reflectance, and EPR spectra) properties and the preliminary results of magnetic measurements of both complexes are investigated and compared to other closely related trinuclear copper(II) complexes.  相似文献

The monomer 3‐allyl‐5‐(phenylazo)‐2‐thioxothiazolidine‐4‐one (HL) was prepared by the reaction of allyl rhodanine with aniline through diazo‐coupling reaction. Reaction of HL with Ni(II) or Co(II) salts gave polymer complexes ( 1 – 8 ) with general stoichiometries [M(HL)(Cl)2(OH2)2]n, [M(HL)(O2SO2)(OH2)2]n, [M(L)(O2NO)(H2O)2]n and [M(L)(O2CCH3)(H2O)2]n (where M = Ni(II) or Co(II)). The structures of the polymer complexes were identified using elemental analysis, infrared and electronic spectra, molar conductance, magnetic susceptibility, X‐ray diffraction and thermogravimetric analysis. The interaction between the polymer complexes and calf thymus DNA showed a hypochromism effect. HL and its polymer complexes were tested against bacterial and fungal species. Co(II) polymer complex 2 is the most effective against Klebsiella pneumoniae and is more active than penicillin. The results showed that Ni(II) polymer complex 5 is a good antibacterial agent against Staphylococcus aureus and Pseudomonas aeruginosa. Molecular docking was used to predict the binding between the monomer with the receptors of prostate cancer (PDB code: 2Q7L Hormone) and breast cancer (PDB code: 1JNX Gene regulation). Coats–Redfern and Horowitz–Metzger methods were applied for calculating the thermodynamic parameters of HL and its polymer complexes. The thermal activation energy of decomposition for HL is higher than that for the polymer complexes.  相似文献

The synthesis and mesomorphic properties of a homologous series of N-(2-hydroxy-4-n-alkoxybenzylidene)-4'-n-decylphenylanilines and their platinum(II) and oxovanadium(IV) complexes are reported. All the ligands and their metal chelates exhibit enantiotropic mesophases, predominantly smectic A and smectic C phases. The transition temperatures and enthalpies have been determined for most of the compounds. The platinum(II) complexes have higher melting points and mesophase thermal stabilities. However, the oxovanadium(IV) complexes have a wider thermal range for the mesophase. Both platinum(II) and oxovanadium(IV) complexes containing only a chain on the biphenyl moiety exhibit a nematic phase.  相似文献

New higly unsaturated macrocyclic building blocks [CuLSCN]·ClO4 (1) (L = N-dl-5,7,7,12,14,14-hexamethyl-1,4,8,11-tetraazacyclotetradeca-4,11-diene) and [NiL(SCN)2] (2) (L = N-dl-5,12-dimethyl-7,14-diisopropyl-1,4,8,11-tetraazacyclotetradeca-4,11-diene) were synthesized and the crystal structures of both compounds were determined. Both complexes crystallizes in monoclinic, space group P21/n (1) and P21/c (2). Their magnetic properties were studied over the temperature range 1.8–300 K using a Quantum Design SQUID magnetometer (MPMSXL-5-type). The results indicate that both compounds behave as weakly interacting paramagnetic centers in the crystal lattice. The effects of hydrogen bond mediating the magnetic exchange interactions on the spin density have been evidenced by DFT calculations. The NIR–Vis–UV diffuse-reflectance electronic spectra confirm the square pyramidal and octahedral geometry around Cu2+ and Ni2+ metal ions.  相似文献

Reaction of salicyldehyde thosemicarbazone (H2L1), 2-hydroxyacetophenone thiosemicarbazone (H2L2) and 2-hydroxynapthaldehyde thiosemicarbazone (H2L3) (general abbreviation H2L, where H2 stands for the two dissociable protons, one phenolic proton and one hydrazinic proton) with K2[PtCl4] afforded a family of polymeric complexes of type [{Pt(L)}n]. Reaction of the polymeric species with two monodentate ligands (D), viz. triphenylphosphine (PPh3) and 4-picoline (pic), yielded complexes of the type [Pt(L)(D)]. These mixed-ligand complexes were also obtained from the reaction of the thiosemicarbazones with [Pt(PPh3)2Cl2] and [Pt(pic)2Cl2]. The crystal structure of [Pt(PPh3)(L2)] has been determined. The thiosemicarbazone ligands are coordinated, via dissociation of the two protons, as dianionic tridentate O,N,S-donors. The [Pt(L)(D)] complexes show characteristic 1H NMR spectra and intense absorptions in the visible and ultraviolet region. They also fluoresce in the visible region at ambient temperature.  相似文献

A series of new transitional metal charge-transfer (CT) complexes with a bipyridinium-based ligand [M(PrBpy)2(SCN)4] (M = Cd(II), Ni(II), Co(II)) and [Cu(PrBpy)(SCN)3(H2O)] (PrBpyCl = N-(2-pyrazinyl)-4,4′-bipyridinium chloride) have been obtained and determined by X-ray diffraction, FT-IR and elemental analysis. The CT absorption bands of the four compounds were observed by diffuse reflection spectroscopy and a photo-induced electron transfer occurs in methanol solution upon light irradiation.  相似文献

Two novel heterotrimetallic tetranuclear complexes [Cu(H2L)(CH3OH)]2Gd(DMF)Fe(CN)6·2H2O·DMF (1) and [Cu(H2L)(CH3OH)]2Tb(H2O)0.57(DMF)0.43Fe(CN)6·5.5H2O (2) are reported (H4L = N,N′-ethylenebis(3-hydroxysalicylidene)). The central Ln(III) ion is surrounded by two neutral [Cu(H2L)(CH3OH)] moieties, forming a Cu2Ln trinuclear unit. The [Fe(CN)6]3? anion is weakly coordinated to one Cu(II) ion of [Cu(H2L)(CH3OH)] through a cyanide nitrogen atom with the N–Cu distance of ca. 3.2 Å. Magnetic susceptibility measurements indicate the presence of overall ferromagnetic interactions in complexes 1 and 2. The magnetic coupling constant in complex 1 is J Cu1Gd1 = 4.54 cm?1 and J Cu2Gd1 = 7.97 cm?1 based on \( \hat{H} = - 2J_{\text{Cu1Gd1}} \hat{S}_{\text{Cu1Gd1}} - 2J_{\text{Cu2Gd1}} \hat{S}_{\text{Cu2Gd1}} \) . Dynamic AC magnetic susceptibility studies reveal that complex 2 shows frequency-dependent out-of-phase signals, typical of single molecule magnet behavior. The energy barrier for complex 2 under a 2 kOe applied DC magnetic field is 13 K.  相似文献

A new series of mesogenic aroylhydrazone-based ligands, N-[4-(4′-alkoxy)benzoyloxybenzylidene]-N′-[4″-alkoxybenzoyl]hydrazine with either the same or different peripheral alkyl chains, and nickel(II) complexes of some of them have been synthesised. They were characterised by elemental analyses, Fourier transform infrared, proton and carbon nuclear magnetic resonance and ultraviolet-visible spectroscopy. The mesomorphic properties of these compounds were investigated by differential scanning calorimetry and polarising optical microscopy. All the aroylhydrazones, except those with no lateral chains on either end of the molecule and where m?=?n?=?14, 16, exhibit a monotropic or enantiotropic smectic C mesophase, which are almost insensitive to the peripheral alkoxy chain length. The square planar nickel(II) complexes of the ligands show only an isotropic phase at higher temperature (>175°C) and no mesogenic nature is observed. Density functional theory calculations have been performed using the GAUSSIAN-03 program at the Becke, three-parameter, Lee–Yang–Parr level to obtain the stable electronic structure of the ligand.  相似文献

Two new imidazolate-bridged dinuclear CuII complexes, Na[Cu2(L1)2(im)] and K[Cu2(L2)2(im)] (where H2L1=6-amino-1,3-dimethyl-5(2-carboxyphenyl)azouracil and H2L2=1,3-dimethyl-5(2-carboxyphenyl)azobarbituric acid) have been prepared and characterized by magnetic susceptibility and spectroscopic measurements. Both compounds exhibit the expected antiferromagnetic behaviour with 2J=−54.8 and −30.4 cm−1, respectively. Because of the lack of suitable crystals for single crystal X-ray analysis, we have calculated the lowest energy structures using a program based on the MMX force field. On the basis of the results, the magnitude of the magnetic interaction is discussed. TMC 2623  相似文献

Transition metals in the +2 oxidation state form complexes with octakis(benzylthio)tetraazaporphyrin [M{TAP(SBn)8}] (M=Mn2+, Co2+, Ni2+, Cu2+, Zn2+ and 2H+; Bn=CH2Ph; TAP=tetraazaporphyrin) and were prepared via demetallation of the template-synthesized complex [Mg{TAP(SBn)8}] in ClCH2COOH, followed by insertion of the metal ions in a PhCl–DMF mixture. All compounds were characterized by u.v–vis, 1H-n.m.r., e.s.r. and mass spectra, microanalyses and magnetic susceptibility data. PM3 geometry optimization showed near coplanar arrangement of five phenyl rings vis-à-vis the TAP ring plane, while the remaining three phenyl rings lie bent over it. The Mn2+, Co2+ and Cu2+ complexes exhibited reversible one electron oxidation waves, that were observed at E 1/2 -0.33, -0.29 and 0.58 V versus Ag/AgCl respectively. They all exhibited an irreversible reduction wave at E p -1.1 V versusAg/AgCl followed by appearance of an irreversible oxidation wave at E p 1.1–1.2 V versus Ag/AgCl. This has been interpreted in terms of reductive dissociation, leading to removal of the benzyl substituents, and subsequent oxidation of thiolate products. The Mn2+, Co2+ and Cu2+complexes exhibited metal ion-based e.s.r. signals. The [Co{TAP(SBn)8}] complex in a homogeneous DMF solution was found to catalyze electro-reduction/oxidation of nitrite ions. In the presence of a 1/5 molar quantity of the complex [Co{TAP(SBn)8}], the nitrite reduction peak was observed to be shifted by 0.1 V towards the positive potential side and the peak current rose by a factor of 1.33. Similarly a sharp rise in the anodic current, corresponding to oxidation of nitrite ions, was observed in the presence of the complex.  相似文献
