Mycothiol is a low-molecular weight thiol produced by actinomycetes that serves to protect these organisms from oxidative stress and alkylating agents. We report the total synthesis of mycothiol bimane (1) which is a commonly isolated derivative of mycothiol. The synthesis confirms the original structure assignment and unambiguously establishes the absolute stereochemistry of mycothiol to be 1-d-myo-inosityl 2-deoxy-2-(N-acetamido-l-cysteinamido)-alpha-d-glucopyranoside.  相似文献

[reaction: see text] The first total synthesis of mycothiol and mycothiol disulfide was achieved by linking D-2,3,4,5,6-penta-O-acetyl-myo-inositol, O-(3,4,6-tri-O-acetyl)-2-azido-2-deoxy-alpha,beta-D-glucopyranosyl) trichloroacetimidate, and N,S-diacetyl-L-cysteine and deprotecting peracetylated mycothiol. The first full spectral characterization is reported for underivatized mycothiol. The structure of mycothiol was confirmed by spectral analysis of the known bimane derivative.  相似文献

Bis(8-hydroxy quinoline-5-solphonate) cerium(III) chloride (Ce(QS)(2)Cl) (L) was synthesized and then used as a novel fluorescent sensor for anion recognition. Preliminarily study showed that fluorescence of L enhanced selectively in the presence of HPO(4)(2-) ion. This enhancement is attributed to a 1:1 complex formation between L and HPO(4)(2-) anion. The association constant of 1:1 complex of L-HPO(4)(2-) was calculated as 3.0×10(6). Thus, L was utilized as a basis for a selective detection of HPO(4)(2-) anion in solution. The linear response range of the proposed fluorescent chemo-sensor covers a concentration range of HPO(4)(2-) from 3.3×10(-7) to 5.0×10(-6) mol L(-1) with a detection limit of 2.5×10(-8) mol L(-1). L showed selective and sensitive fluorescence enhancement response toward HPO(4)(2-) ion in comparison with I(3)(-), NO(3)(-), CN(-), CO(3)(2-), Br(-), Cl(-), F(-), H(2)PO(4)(-) and SO(4)(2-) ions. It was probably attributed to the higher stability of the inorganic complex between HPO(4)(2-) ion and L. The method was successfully applied for analysis of phosphate ions in some fertilizers samples.  相似文献

Mycothiol is an abundant small molecular weight thiol found only in actinomycetes, which include mycobacteria. Mycothiol biosynthetic and detoxification enzymes are novel and unique to actinomycetes, thereby representing potential antimycobacterial targets. To better guide inhibitor design, we have determined by NMR the solution conformations of mycothiol bimane (MSmB) and the pseudodisaccharide 1-D-GlcNAc-alpha-(1 --> 1)-D-myo-Ins (D-GI), molecules that represent the natural substrates for the mycothiol-dependent detoxification enzyme mycothiol-S-conjugate amidase (MCA) and the mycothiol biosynthetic enzyme D-GlcNAc-alpha-(1 --> 1)-D-myo-Ins deacetylase (AcGI deacetylase), respectively. Comparison of the mean structure of MSmB and the energy-minimized structures of two competitive spiroisoxazoline-containing MCA inhibitors shows striking similarities between these molecules in the region of the scissile amide bond of MSmB and provides structural evidence that those inhibitors are substrate mimics. Owing to our earlier finding that AcGI deacetylase will not deacetylate the unnatural isomer 1-d-GlcNAc-alpha-(1 --> 1)-L-myo-Ins (L-GI), the solution conformation of L-GI was also determined. The interglycosidic bond angles for all three compounds are comparable. When considered together with the observation that a simplified cyclohexyl thioglycoside mycothiol analogue is a good substrate for MCA, it appears that the stereochemistry of the inositol ring is critical for deacetylase function, superceding the importance of the full complement of hydroxyl groups on the "nonreducing" ring.  相似文献

The generation of metal cyanide ions in the gas phase by laser ablation of M(CN)(2) (M = Co, Ni, Zn, Cd, Hg), Fe(III)[Fe(III)(CN)(6)] x xH(2)O, Ag(3)[M(CN)(6)] (M = Fe, Co), and Ag(2)[Fe(CN)(5)(NO)] has been investigated using Fourier transform ion cyclotron resonance mass spectrometry. Irradiation of Zn(CN)(2) and Cd(CN)(2) produced extensive series of anions, [Zn(n)(CN)(2n+1)](-) (1 < or = n < or = 27) and [Cd(n)(CN)(2n+1)](-) (n = 1, 2, 8-27, and possibly 29, 30). Cations Hg(CN)(+) and [Hg(2)(CN)(x)](+) (x = 1-3), and anions [Hg(CN)(x)](-) (x = 2, 3), are produced from Hg(CN)(2). Irradiation of Fe(III)[Fe(III)(CN)(6)] x xH(2)O gives the anions [Fe(CN)(2)](-), [Fe(CN)(3)](-), [Fe(2)(CN)(3)](-), [Fe(2)(CN)(4)](-), and [Fe(2)(CN)(5)](-). When Ag(3)[Fe(CN)(6)] is ablated, [AgFe(CN)(4)](-) and [Ag(2)Fe(CN)(5)](-) are observed together with homoleptic anions of Fe and Ag. The additional heterometallic complexes [AgFe(2)(CN)(6)](-), [AgFe(3)(CN)(8)](-), [Ag(2)Fe(2)(CN)(7)](-), and [Ag(3)Fe(CN)(6)](-) are observed on ablation of Ag(2)[Fe(CN)(5)(NO)]. Homoleptic anions [Co(n)(CN)(n+1)](-) (n = 1-3), [Co(n)(CN)(n+2)](-) (n = 1-3), [Co(2)(CN)(4)](-), and [Co(3)(CN)(5)](-) are formed when anhydrous Co(CN)(2) is the target. Ablation of Ag(3)[Co(CN)(6)] yields cations [Ag(n)(CN)(n-1)](+) (n = 1-4) and [Ag(n)Co(CN)(n)](+) (n = 1, 2) and anions [Ag(n)(CN)(n+1)](-) (n = 1-3), [Co(n)(CN)(n-1)](-) (n = 1, 2), [Ag(n)Co(CN)(n+2)](-) (n = 1, 2), and [Ag(n)Co(CN)(n+3)](-) (n = 0-2). The Ni(I) species [Ni(n)(CN)(n-1)](+) (n = 1-4) and [Ni(n)(CN)(n+1)](-) (n = 1-3) are produced when anhydrous Ni(CN)(2) is irradiated. In all cases, CN(-) and polyatomic carbon nitride ions C(x)N(y)(-) are formed concurrently. On the basis of density functional calculations, probable structures are proposed for most of the newly observed species. General structural features are low coordination numbers, regular trigonal coordination stereochemistry for d(10) metals but distorted trigonal stereochemistry for transition metals, the occurrence of M-CN-M and M(-CN-)(2)M bridges, addition of AgCN to terminal CN ligands, and the occurrence of high spin ground states for linear [M(n)(CN)(n+1)](-) complexes of Co and Ni.  相似文献

Second-order rate constants, k(OH)(N), M(-)(1) s(-)(1), for the beta-elimination reactions of HF with 2-(2-fluoroethyl)pyridine (2), 3-(2-fluoroethyl)pyridine (3), and 4-(2-fluoroethyl)pyridine (4) in OH(-)/H(2)O, at 50 degrees C and mu = 1 M KCl, are = 0.646 x 10(-)(4) M(-)(1) s(-)(1), = 2.97 x 10(-)(6) M(-)(1) s(-)(1), and = 5.28 x 10(-)(4) M(-)(1) s(-)(1), respectively. When compared with the second-order rate constants for the same processes with the nitrogen-methylated substrates 1-methyl-2-(2-fluoroethyl)pyridinium iodide (5), 1-methyl-3-(2-fluoroethyl)pyridinium iodide (6), and 1-methyl-4-(2-fluoroethyl)pyridinium iodide (7), the methyl-activating factor (MethylAF) can be calculated from the ratio k(OH)(NCH)3/, and a value of 8.7 x 10(5) is obtained with substrates 5/2, a value of 1.6 x 10(3) with 6/3, and a value of 2.1 x 10(4) with 7/4. The high values of MethylAF are in agreement with an irreversible E1cb mechanism (A(N)D(E) + D(N)) for substrates 5 and 7 and with the high stability of the intermediate carbanion related to its enamine-type structure. In acetohydroxamate/acetohydroxamic acid buffers (pH 8.45-9.42) and acetate/acetic acid buffers (pH 4.13-5.13), the beta-elimination reactions of HF, with substrates 2 and 4, occur at NH(+), the substrates protonated at the nitrogen atom of the pyridine ring, even when the [NH(+)] is much lower than the [N], the unprotonated substrate, due to the high proton-activating factor (PAF) value observed: 3.6 x 10(5) for 2 and 6.5 x 10(4) for 4 with acetohydroxamate base. These high PAF values are indicative of an irreversible E1cb mechanism rather than a concerted E2 (A(N)D(E)D(N)) mechanism. Finally, the rate constant for carbanion formation from NH(+) with 2 is k(B)(NH)+ = 0.35 M(-)(1) s(-)(1), which is lower than when chlorine is the leaving group ( = 1.05 M(-)(1) s(-)(1); Alunni, S.; Busti, A. J. Chem. Soc., Perkin Trans. 2 2001, 778). This is direct experimental evidence that some lengthening of the carbon-leaving group bond can occur in the intermediate carbanion. This is a point of interest for interpreting a heavy-atom isotope effect.  相似文献

The crystal structures and magnetic properties of two novel polyclusters {[Cu(3)(tci)(2)(H(2)O)(2)]·12H(2)O}(n) (1) and {[Cu(3)(tci)(2)(H(2)O)(2)]·6H(2)O}(n) (2) (tci = tris(2-carboxyethyl) isocyanurate) are investigated. The X-ray crystallographic analysis reveals that they contain interesting infinite alternating chains of dinuclear paddle-wheel copper and mononuclear copper units arranged in ABBA magnetism exchange mode. Variable-temperature magnetic susceptibility measurements on the two polyclusters show strong antiferromagnetism couplings between copper ions with exchange interactions J = -181.4 cm(-1), zj' = -0.31 cm(-1) for 1, J = -170 cm(-1), zj' = -0.42 cm(-1) for 2. With the aim of studying magneto-structural correlation, we synthesized a three-dimensional polymer [Cu(3)(tci)(2)(py)(4)(H(2)O)(2)](n) (3) based on isolated dinuclear cluster and mononuclear copper units. Fitting the susceptibility data yielded J = -176.1 cm(-1), zj' = -0.084 cm(-1) for 3.  相似文献

Reactions of [MO(4)](2)(-) (M = Mo, W) with certain carbon and silicon electrophiles were investigated in acetonitrile in order to produce species of potential utility in the synthesis of analogues of the sites in the xanthine oxidoreductase enzyme family. Silylation of [MoO(4)](2)(-) affords [MoO(3)(OSiPh(3))](1)(-), which with Ph(3)SiSH is converted to [MoO(2)S(OSiPh(3))](1)(-). Reaction with (Ph(3)C)(PF(6))/HS(-) yields the tetrahedral monosulfido species [MO(3)S](2)(-), previously obtained only from the aqueous system [MO(4)](2)(-)/H(2)S. Dithiolene chelate rings are readily introduced upon reaction with 1,2-C(6)H(4)(SSiMe(3))(2), leading to the square pyramidal trioxo complexes [MO(3)(bdt)](2)(-), a previously unknown dithiolene molecular type. Further ring insertion occurs upon reaction of [WO(3)(bdt)](2)(-) with 1,2-C(6)H(4)(SSiMe(3))(2), giving [WO(2)(bdt)(2)](2)(-). Related reactions occur with [ReO(4)](1)(-). Treatment with 1 equiv of (Me(3)Si)(2)S produces [ReO(3)S](1)(-); with 3 equiv of 1,2-C(6)H(4)(SSiMe(3))(2), [ReO(bdt)(2)](1)(-) is obtained with concomitant Re(VII) --> Re(V) reduction. X-ray structures are reported for [MO(3)S](z)(-) (M = Mo, W, z = 2; M = Re, z = 1), [MO(3)(bdt)](2)(-), and [WO(2)(OSiPh(3))(bdt)](1)(-), a silylation product of [WO(3)(bdt)](2)(-). [MoO(3)(bdt)](2)(-) is related to the site of inactive sulfite oxidase, and [WO(2)(OSiPh(3))(bdt)](1)(-) should closely approximate the metric features of the [(dithiolene)MoO(2)(OH)] site in inactive aldehyde/xanthine oxidoreductase. This work provides convenient syntheses of known and new derivatives of tetraoxometalates, among which is entry to a unique class of oxo-monodithiolene complexes.  相似文献

Laboratory measurements are reported of the rate coefficient for collisional removal of O(2)(X(3)Σ(g)(-), υ = 1) by O((3)P), and the rate coefficients for removal of O(2)(a(1)Δ(g), υ = 1) by O(2), CO(2), and O((3)P). A two-laser method is employed, in which the pulsed output of the first laser at 285 nm photolyzes ozone to produce oxygen atoms and O(2)(a(1)Δ(g), υ = 1), and the output of the second laser detects O(2)(a(1)Δ(g), υ = 1) via resonance-enhanced multiphoton ionization. The kinetics of O(2)(X(3)Σ(g)(-), υ = 1) + O((3)P) relaxation is inferred from the temporal evolution of O(2)(a(1)Δ(g), υ = 1), an approach enabled by the rapid collision-induced equilibration of the O(2)(X(3)Σ(g)(-), υ = 1) and O(2)(a(1)Δ(g), υ = 1) populations in the system. The measured O(2)(X(3)Σ(g)(-), υ = 1) + O((3)P) rate coefficient is (2.9 ± 0.6) × 10(-12) cm(3) s(-1) at 295 K and (3.4 ± 0.6) × 10(-12) cm(3) s(-1) at 240 K. These values are consistent with the previously reported result of (3.2 ± 1.0) × 10(-12) cm(3) s(-1), which was obtained at 315 K using a different experimental approach [K. S. Kalogerakis, R. A. Copeland, and T. G. Slanger, J. Chem. Phys. 123, 194303 (2005)]. For removal of O(2)(a(1)Δ(g), υ = 1) by O((3)P), the upper limits for the rate coefficient are 4 × 10(-13) cm(3) s(-1) at 295 K and 6 × 10(-13) cm(3) s(-1) at 240 K. The rate coefficient for removal of O(2)(a(1)Δ(g), υ = 1) by O(2) is (5.6 ± 0.6) × 10(-11) cm(3) s(-1) at 295 K and (5.9 ± 0.5) × 10(-11) cm(3) s(-1) at 240 K. The O(2)(a(1)Δ(g), υ = 1) + CO(2) rate coefficient is (1.5 ± 0.2) × 10(-14) cm(3) s(-1) at 295 K and (1.2 ± 0.1) × 10(-14) cm(3) s(-1) at 240 K. The implications of the measured rate coefficients for modeling of atmospheric emissions are discussed.  相似文献

The free energies interconnecting nine tungsten complexes have been determined from chemical equilibria and electrochemical data in MeCN solution (T = 22 °C). Homolytic W-H bond dissociation free energies are 59.3(3) kcal mol(-1) for CpW(CO)(2)(IMes)H and 59(1) kcal mol(-1) for the dihydride [CpW(CO)(2)(IMes)(H)(2)](+) (where IMes = 1,3-bis(2,4,6-trimethylphenyl)imidazol-2-ylidene), indicating that the bonds are the same within experimental uncertainty for the neutral hydride and the cationic dihydride. For the radical cation, [CpW(CO)(2)(IMes)H](?+), W-H bond homolysis to generate the 16-electron cation [CpW(CO)(2)(IMes)](+) is followed by MeCN uptake, with free energies for these steps being 51(1) and -16.9(5) kcal mol(-1), respectively. Based on these two steps, the free energy change for the net conversion of [CpW(CO)(2)(IMes)H](?+) to [CpW(CO)(2)(IMes)(MeCN)](+) in MeCN is 34(1) kcal mol(-1), indicating a much lower bond strength for the 17-electron radical cation of the metal hydride compared to the 18-electron hydride or dihydride. The pK(a) of CpW(CO)(2)(IMes)H in MeCN was determined to be 31.9(1), significantly higher than the 26.6 reported for the related phosphine complex, CpW(CO)(2)(PMe(3))H. This difference is attributed to the electron donor strength of IMes greatly exceeding that of PMe(3). The pK(a) values for [CpW(CO)(2)(IMes)H](?+) and [CpW(CO)(2)(IMes)(H)(2)](+) were determined to be 6.3(5) and 6.3(8), much closer to the pK(a) values reported for the PMe(3) analogues. The free energy of hydride abstraction from CpW(CO)(2)(IMes)H is 74(1) kcal mol(-1), and the resultant [CpW(CO)(2)(IMes)](+) cation is significantly stabilized by binding MeCN to form [CpW(CO)(2)(IMes)(MeCN)](+), giving an effective hydride donor ability of 57(1) kcal mol(-1) in MeCN. Electrochemical oxidation of [CpW(CO)(2)(IMes)](-) is fully reversible at all observed scan rates in cyclic voltammetry experiments (E° = -1.65 V vs Cp(2)Fe(+/0) in MeCN), whereas CpW(CO)(2)(IMes)H is reversibly oxidized (E° = -0.13(3) V) only at high scan rates (800 V s(-1)). For [CpW(CO)(2)(IMes)(MeCN)](+), high-pressure NMR experiments provide an estimate of ΔG° = 10.3(4) kcal mol(-1) for the displacement of MeCN by H(2) to give [CpW(CO)(2)(IMes)(H)(2)](+).  相似文献

As a part of a broader study directed towards helical coordination compounds with benzenedithiolate donors, we have synthesized the bis(benzenedithiol) ligands 1,2-bis(2,3-dimercaptobenzamido)ethane (H(4)-1) and 1,2-bis(2,3-dimercaptophenyl)ethane (H(4)-2). Both ligands form dinuclear complexes with Ni(II), Ni(III) and, after air-oxidation, Co(III) ions under equilibrium conditions. Complexes (NEt(4))(4)[Ni(II)(2)(1)(2)] (11 b), (NEt(4))(2)[Ni(III)(2)(1)(2)] (13), and Na(4)[Ni(II)(2)(2)(2)] (14) were characterized by X-ray diffraction. In all complexes, two square-planar [Ni(S(2)C(6)H(3)R)(2)] units are linked in a double-stranded fashion by the carbon backbone and they assume a coplanar arrangement in a stair-like manner. Cyclic voltammetric investigations show a strong dependence of the redox potential on the type of the ligand. The substitution of 1(4-) for 2(4-) on nickel (-785 mV for 11 b versus -1130 mV for 14, relative to ferrocene) affects the redox potential to a similar degree as the substitution of nickel for cobalt (-1160 mV for [Co(2)(1)(2)](2-)/[Co(2)(1)(2)](4-), relative to ferrocene). The redox waves display a markedly less reversible behavior for complexes with the shorter bridged ligand 2(4-) compared to those of 1(4-).  相似文献

New heterobimetallic tetranuclear complexes of formula [Fe(III){B(pz)(4)}(CN)(2)(μ-CN)Mn(II)(bpy)(2)](2)(ClO(4))(2)·CH(3)CN (1), [Fe(III){HB(pz)(3)}(CN)(2)(μ-CN)Ni(II)(dmphen)(2)](2)(ClO(4))(2)·2CH(3)OH (2a), [Fe(III){B(pz)(4)}(CN)(2)(μ-CN)Ni(II)(dmphen)(2)](2)(ClO(4))(2)·2CH(3)OH (2b), [Fe(III){HB(pz)(3)}(CN)(2)(μ-CN)Co(II)(dmphen)(2)](2)(ClO(4))(2)·2CH(3)OH (3a), and [Fe(III){B(pz)(4)}(CN)(2)(μ-CN)Co(II)(dmphen)(2)](2)(ClO(4))(2)·2CH(3)OH (3b), [HB(pz)(3)(-) = hydrotris(1-pyrazolyl)borate, B(Pz)(4)(-) = tetrakis(1-pyrazolyl)borate, dmphen = 2,9-dimethyl-1,10-phenanthroline, bpy = 2,2'-bipyridine] have been synthesized and structurally and magnetically characterized. Complexes 1-3b have been prepared by following a rational route based on the self-assembly of the tricyanometalate precursor fac-[Fe(III)(L)(CN)(3)](-) (L = tridentate anionic ligand) and cationic preformed complexes [M(II)(L')(2)(H(2)O)(2)](2+) (L' = bidentate α-diimine type ligand), this last species having four blocked coordination sites and two labile ones located in cis positions. The structures of 1-3b consist of cationic tetranuclear Fe(III)(2)M(II)(2) square complexes [M = Mn (1), Ni (2a and 2b), Co (3a and 3b)] where corners are defined by the metal ions and the edges by the Fe-CN-M units. The charge is balanced by free perchlorate anions. The [Fe(L)(CN)(3)](-) complex in 1-3b acts as a ligand through two cyanide groups toward two divalent metal complexes. The magnetic properties of 1-3b have been investigated in the temperature range 2-300 K. A moderately strong antiferromagnetic interaction between the low-spin Fe(III) (S = 1/2) and high-spin Mn(II) (S = 5/2) ions has been found for 1 leading to an S = 4 ground state (J(1) = -6.2 and J(2) = -2.7 cm(-1)), whereas a moderately strong ferromagnetic interaction between the low-spin Fe(III) (S = 1/2) and high-spin Ni(II) (S = 1) and Co(II) (S = 3/2) ions has been found for complexes 2a-3b with S = 3 (2a and 2b) and S = 4 (3a and 3b) ground spin states [J(1) = +21.4 cm(-1) and J(2) = +19.4 cm(-1) (2a); J(1) = +17.0 cm(-1) and J(2) = +12.5 cm(-1) (2b); J(1) = +5.4 cm(-1) and J(2) = +11.1 cm(-1) (3a); J(1) = +8.1 cm(-1) and J(2) = +11.0 cm(-1) (3b)] [the exchange Hamiltonian being of the type H? = -J(S?(i)·S?(j))]. Density functional theory (DFT) calculations have been used to substantiate the nature and magnitude of the exchange magnetic coupling observed in 1-3b and also to analyze the dependence of the exchange magnetic coupling on the structural parameters of the Fe-C-N-M skeleton.  相似文献

A novel colorimetric sensor based on 8-hydroxy quinoline-5-azo-4'-nitrobenzene (1) was prepared and used for recognizing anions. 1 and its metal complex (1.Co) were found to show response to anions such as CH(3)CO(2)(-), H(2)PO(4)(-), HSO(4)(-), F(-) and dramatic color changes were observed. The selectivity and sensitivity of 1 and 1.Co for sensing anions were different, which was in the order of CH(3)CO(2)(-)>F(-)>H(2)PO(4)(-)>HSO(4)(-) for 1 and H(2)PO(4)(-)>HSO(4)(-)>CH(3)CO(2)(-) approximately F(-) for 1.Co, respectively. In CH(3)CN, sensor 1.Co exhibited excellent specificity toward H(2)PO(4)(-), and the color variety was dependent on the concentration of H(2)PO(4)(-) which was attributed to anion structure and stability of anionic complex (1-anion), metal complex (1-Co) and inorganic complex (Co-anion).  相似文献

The effect of temperature and pressure on the water exchange reaction of [Fe(II)(NTA)(H2O)2](-) and [Fe(II)(BADA)(H2O)2](-) (NTA = nitrilotriacetate; BADA = beta-alanindiacetate) was studied by 17O NMR spectroscopy. The [Fe(II)(NTA)(H2O)2](-) complex showed a water exchange rate constant, k(ex), of (3.1 +/- 0.4) x 10(6) s(-1) at 298.2 K and ambient pressure. The activation parameters DeltaH( not equal), DeltaS( not equal) and DeltaV( not equal) for the observed reaction are 43.4 +/- 2.6 kJ mol(-1), + 25 +/- 9 J K(-1) mol(-1) and + 13.2 +/- 0.6 cm(3) mol(-1), respectively. For [Fe(II)(BADA)(H2O)2](-), the water exchange reaction is faster than for the [Fe(II)(NTA)(H2O)2](-) complex with k(ex) = (7.4 +/- 0.4) x 10(6) s(-1) at 298.2 K and ambient pressure. The activation parameters DeltaH( not equal), DeltaS( not equal) and DeltaV( not equal) for the water exchange reaction are 40.3 +/- 2.5 kJ mol(-1), + 22 +/- 9 J K(-1) mol(-1) and + 13.3 +/- 0.8 cm(3) mol(-1), respectively. The effect of pressure on the exchange rate constant is large and very similar for both systems, and the numerical values for DeltaV( not equal) suggest in both cases a limiting dissociative (D) mechanism for the water exchange process.  相似文献

Eight oxamato-bridged heterotrinuclear Ni(II)Cu(II)Ni(II) complexes of formula ([Ni(H(2)O)(dpt)](2)(mu-Cu(H(2)O)(opba)))(ClO(4))2 (1), ([Ni(H(2)O)(dien)](2)(mu-Cu(pba)))(ClO(4))(2).6H(2)O (2), ([Ni(H(2)O)(Medpt)](2)(mu-Cu(OHpba)))(ClO(4))(2).4H(2)O (3), ([Ni(H(2)O)(dien)](2)(mu-Cu(Me(2)pba)))(ClO(4))(2).2.5H(2)O (4), ([Ni(H(2)O)(dpt)](2)(mu-Cu(Me(2)pba)))(ClO(4))(2).2H(2)O (5), ([Ni(H(2)O)(dien)](2)(mu-Cu(OHpba)))(ClO(4))(2).4H(2)O (6), ([Ni(2)(dpt)(2)(mu-Cu(H(2)O)(pba))](2)(mu-N(3))(2))Na(2)(ClO(4))(4).6H(2)O (7), and ([Cu(H(2)O)(2)(dpt)Ni(2)(H(2)O)(dpt)(2)](mu-H(2)Me(2)pba(2-)))(ClO(4))(4).3H(2)O (8) in which opba = o-phenylenbis(oxamato), pba = 1,3-propylenebis(oxamato), OHpba = 2-hydroxy-1,3-propylenebis(oxamato), Me(2)pba = 2,2-dimethyl-1,3-propylenbis(oxamato), dpt = 3,3'-diaminodipropylamine, dien = 2,2'-diaminodiethylamine, and Medpt = 3,3'-diamino-N-methyldipropylamine were synthesized and characterized. The crystal structures of 1, 7, and 8 were solved. For complex 1, the trinuclear entities are linked by hydrogen bonds forming a one-dimensional system, and for complex 8, the presence of van der Waals interactions gives a one-dimensional system, too. For complex 7, the trinuclear entities are self-assembled by azido ligands, given a hexanuclear system; each of these hexanuclear entities are self-assembled through two [Na(O)(3)(H(2)O)(3)] octahedral-sharing one-edge entities, given a one-dimensional system. The magnetic behavior of complexes 2-7 was investigated by variable-temperature magnetic susceptibility measurements. Complexes 2-6 exhibit the minimum characteristic of this kind of polymetallic species with an irregular spin state structure. The Jvalue through the oxamato bridge varied between -88 cm(-1) (for 6) and -111.2 cm(-1) (for 5). For complex 7, the values obtained were J(1) = -101.7 cm(-1) (through the oxamato ligand) and J(2) = -3.2 cm(-1) (through the azido ligand).  相似文献

The syntheses and reactivities of sterically encumbered trans-dioxoosmium(VI) complexes containing Schiff-base ligands bis(3,5-di-tert-butylsalicylidene)-1,2-cyclohexane-diamine (H2tBu-salch) and bis(3,5-dibromosalicylidene)-1,2-cyclohexane-diamine (H2Br-salch) are described. Reactions of [Os(VI)tBu-salch)O2] (1a) and [Os(VI)(Br-salch)O2] (1b) with PPh(3), p-X-arylamines (X = NO2, CN), N2H4 x H2O, Ph2NNH2, SOCl2, CF3CO2H, Br2, and I2 under reducing conditions gave [Os(II)(Br-salch)(OPPh3)2] (2), [Os(IV)(Br-salch)(p-X-C6H4NH)2] (3), [mu-O-{Os(IV)(tBu-salch)(p-NO2C6H4NH)}2] (4), [Os(II)(Br-salch)(N2)(H2O)] (5), [Os(IV)(tBu-salch)(OH)(Cl)] (6), [Os(IV)(tBu-salch)(OH)2] (7), [Os(IV)(tBu-salch)Cl2] (8), [Os(IV)(tBu-salch)(CF3CO2)2] (9), [Os(IV)(tBu-salch)Br2] (10), and [Os(IV)(tBu-salch)I2] (11), respectively. X-ray crystal structure determinations of [Os(IV)(Br-salch)(p-NO2C6H4NH)2] (3a), [Os(IV)(Br-salch)(p-CNC6H4NH)2] (3b), 6, 8, 9, and 11 reveal the Os-N(amido) distances to be 1.965(4)-1.995(1) A for the bis(amido) complexes, Os-Cl distances of 2.333(8)-2.3495(1) A for 6 and 8, Os-O(CF3CO2) distances of 2.025(6)-2.041(6) A for 9, and Os-I distances of 2.6884(6)-2.6970(6) A for 11. Upon UV irradiation, (1S,2S)-(1a) reacted with aryl-substituted alkenes to give the corresponding epoxides in moderate yields, albeit with no enantioselectivity. The (1R,2R)-6 catalyzed cyclopropanation of a series of substituted styrenes exhibited moderate to good enantioselectivity (up to 79% ee) and moderate trans selectivity.  相似文献

Paramagnetic effects on the relaxation rate and shift difference of the (17)O nucleus of bulk water enable the study of water exchange mechanisms on transition metal complexes by variable temperature and variable pressure NMR. The water exchange kinetics of [Mn(II)(edta)(H2O)](2-) (CN 7, hexacoordinated edta) was reinvestigated and complemented by variable pressure NMR data. The results revealed a rapid water exchange reaction for the [Mn(II)(edta)(H2O)](2-) complex with a rate constant of k(ex) = (4.1 +/- 0.4) x 10(8) s(-1) at 298.2 K and ambient pressure. The activation parameters DeltaH(double dagger), DeltaS(double dagger), and DeltaV(double dagger) are 36.6 +/- 0.8 kJ mol(-1), +43 +/- 3 J K(-1) mol(-1), and +3.4 +/- 0.2 cm(3) mol(-1), which are in line with a dissociatively activated interchange (I(d)) mechanism. To analyze the structural influence of the chelate, the investigation was complemented by studies on complexes of the edta-related tmdta (trimethylenediaminetetraacetate) chelate. The kinetic parameters for [Fe(II)(tmdta)(H2O)](2-) are k(ex) = (5.5 +/- 0.5) x 10(6) s(-1) at 298.2 K, DeltaH(double dagger) = 43 +/- 3 kJ mol(-1), DeltaS(double dagger) = +30 +/- 13 J K(-1) mol(-1), and DeltaV(double dagger) = +15.7 +/- 1.5 cm(3) mol(-1), and those for [Mn(II)(tmdta)(H2O)](2-) are k(ex) = (1.3 +/- 0.1) x 10(8) s(-1) at 298.2 K, DeltaH(double dagger) = 37.2 +/- 0.8 kJ mol(-1), DeltaS(double dagger) = +35 +/- 3 J K(-1) mol(-1), and DeltaV(double dagger) = +8.7 +/- 0.6 cm(3) mol(-1). The water containing species, [Fe(III)(tmdta)(H2O)](-) with a fraction of 0.2, is in equilibrium with the water-free hexa-coordinate form, [Fe(III)(tmdta)](-). The kinetic parameters for [Fe(III)(tmdta)(H2O)](-) are k(ex) = (1.9 +/- 0.8) x 10(7) s(-1) at 298.2 K, DeltaH(double dagger) = 42 +/- 3 kJ mol(-1), DeltaS(double dagger) = +36 +/- 10 J K(-1) mol(-1), and DeltaV(double dagger) = +7.2 +/- 2.7 cm(3) mol(-1). The data for the mentioned tmdta complexes indicate a dissociatively activated exchange mechanism in all cases with a clear relationship between the sterical hindrance that arises from the ligand architecture and mechanistic details of the exchange process for seven-coordinate complexes. The unexpected kinetic and mechanistic behavior of [Ni(II)(edta')(H2O)](2-) and [Ni(II)(tmdta')(H2O)](2-) is accounted for in terms of the different coordination number due to the strong preference for an octahedral coordination environment and thus a coordination equilibrium between the water-free, hexadentate [M(L)](n+) and the aqua-pentadentate forms [M(L')(H2O)](n+) of the Ni(II)-edta complex, which was studied in detail by variable temperature and pressure UV-vis experiments. For [Ni(II)(edta')(H2O)](2-) (CN 6, pentacoordinated edta) a water substitution rate constant of (2.6 +/- 0.2) x 10(5) s(-1) at 298.2 K and ambient pressure was measured, and the activation parameters DeltaH(double dagger), DeltaS(double dagger), and DeltaV(double dagger) were found to be 34 +/- 1 kJ mol(-1), -27 +/- 2 J K(-1) mol(-1), and +1.8 +/- 0.1 cm(3) mol(-1), respectively. For [Ni(II)(tmdta')(H2O)](2-), we found k = (6.4 +/- 1.4) x 10(5) s(-1) at 298.2 K, DeltaH(double dagger) = 22 +/- 4 kJ mol(-1), and DeltaS(double dagger) = -59 +/- 5 J K(-1) mol(-1). The process is referred to as a water substitution instead of a water exchange reaction, since these observations refer to the intramolecular displacement of coordinated water by the carboxylate moiety in a ring-closure reaction.  相似文献

The reaction of AlMe(3) and [((t)Bu)(2)Al(micro-OPh)](2) with pyrazine (pyz), 4,4'-bipyridine (4-4'-bipy), 1,2-bis(4-pyridyl)ethane (bpetha) and 1,2-bis(4-pyridyl)ethylene (bpethe) yields (Me(3)Al)(2)(micro-pyz)(1), (Me(3)Al)(2)(micro-4,4'-bipy)(2), (Me(3)Al)(2)(micro-bpetha)(3), (Me(3)Al)(2)(micro-bipethe)(4), Al((t)Bu)(2)(OPh)(pyz)(5), [((t)Bu)(2)Al(OPh)](2)(micro-4,4-bipy)(6a), [((t)Bu)(2)Al(OPh)](2)(micro-bpetha)(7a), [((t)Bu)(2)Al(OPh)](2)(micro-bipethe)(8a). Compounds 1-4, 6a and 7a have been confirmed by X-ray crystallography. In solution compounds 1-4 undergo a rapid ligand-dissociation equilibrium resulting in a time-average spectrum in the (1)H NMR. In contrast, the solution equilibria for compounds 5-8a are sufficiently slow such that the mono-aluminium compounds may be observed by (1)H NMR spectroscopy: Al((t)Bu)(2)(OPh)(4,4-bipy)(6b), Al((t)Bu)(2)(OPh)(bpetha)(7b) and Al((t)Bu)(2)(OPh)(bpethe)(8b). The inability to isolate [((t)Bu)(2)Al(OPh)](2)(micro-pyz) and the relative stability of each complex is discussed with respect to the steric interactions across the bridging ligand (L) and the electronic effect on one Lewis acid-base interaction by the second Lewis acid-base interaction on the same ligand.  相似文献

The reaction of the trimetallic species [Fe(3)O(PhCOO)(6)(H(2)O)(3)]NO(3) with 1,1,1-tris(hydroxymethyl)ethane (H(3)thme) affords either the octametallic species [Fe(8)(PhCOO)(12)(thme)(4)] 1 or the hexadecametallic species [Fe(16)(EtO)(4)(PhCOO)(16)(Hthme)(12)](NO(3))(4) 2, depending on the nature of the solvent used for crystallization. The structure of 1 can be described as a nonplanar wheel of eight Fe(III) ions bridged by a combination of PhCOO(-) and thme(3)(-) ligands, and 2 as a nonplanar wheel of sixteen Fe(III) ions bridged by PhCOO(-), Hthme(2)(-), and EtO(-) ligands. Both compounds can be broken down into simple units of two metal ions and the bridging ligands that connect them. The best fits of the chi vs T curves in the 300-10 K temperature range were obtained with the parameters g = 2.0, J(1) = -24.0 cm(-1), and J(2) = -8.59 cm(-1) for [Fe(8)] and g = 2.0, J(1) = -25.0 cm(-1), J(2) = -11.73 cm(-1), and J(3) = -69.3 cm(-1) for [Fe(16)]. Density functional theory (DFT) calculations show that the antiferromagnetic interactions between the metals in the dinuclear units decrease when two types of bridging ligands are present, as expected for an orbital counter-complementarity effect.  相似文献

Four tetrameric nickel(II) pseudohalide complexes have been synthesized and structurally, spectroscopically, and magnetically characterized. Compounds 1-3 are isostructural and exhibit the general formula [Ni(2)(dpk·OH)(dpk·CH(3)O)(L)(H(2)O)](2)A(2)·2H(2)O, where dpk = di-2-pyridylketone; L = N(3)(-), and A = ClO(4)(-) for 1, L = NCO(-) and A = ClO(4)(-) for 2, and L = NCO(-) and A = NO(3)(-) for 3. The formula for 4 is [Ni(4)(dpk·OH)(3) (dpk·CH(3)O)(2)(NCO)](BF(4))(2)·3H(2)O. The ligands dpk·OH(-) and dpk·CH(3)O(-) result from solvolysis and ulterior deprotonation of dpk in water and methanol, respectively. The four tetramers exhibit a dicubane-like core with two missing vertexes where the Ni(II) ions are connected through end-on pseudohalide and oxo bridges. Magnetic measurements showed that compounds 1-4 are ferromagnetic. The values of the exchange constants were determined by means of a theoretical model based on three different types of coupling. Thus, the calculated J values (J(1) = J(2), J(3), and D) were 5.6, 11.8, and 5.6 cm(-1) for 1, 5.5, 12.0, and 5.6 cm(-1) for 2, 6.3, 4.9, and 6.2 cm(-1) for 3, and (J(1), J(2), J(3), and D) 6.9, 7.0, 15.2, and 4.8 cm(-1) for 4.  相似文献
