By means of a conformal covariant differentiation process we construct generating systems for conformally invariant symmetric (r, s)–spinors in an arbitrary curved space–time. The concept of quasispectral maximal subspaces for quasinilpotent (but not nilpotent) operators was introduced by M. Omladi\v{c} in 1984. As an application a class of quasinilpotent operators on -spaces, close to the Volterra kernel operator, was studied. In the present Banach function space setting we determine all quasispectral maximal subspaces of analogues of such operators and prove that these subspaces are all the invariant bands. An example is given showing that (in general) they are not all the closed, invariant ideals of the operator.

Calculation of differential invariants and invariant differentiation operators of a subalgebra of the Lie algebra admitted by a system of differential equations enables us to construct differential invariant submodels. We classify submodels for every subalgebra of an optimal system of subalgebras. Classification includes the invariant submodels and partially invariant submodels considered earlier. We give examples of classification for three-dimensional subalgebras admitted by the equations of gas dynamics.  相似文献

It is proved that if a Lie algebra of compact operators contains a nonzero ideal consisting of quasinilpotent operators then this Lie algebra has a nontrivial invariant subspace. A well-known method for estimating the sensitivity of invariant projection operators, which is based on the dichotomy quality integral criteria and is oriented to perturbations of general form, is extended to the case of regularly structured perturbations. For finite-dimensional approximations of differential operators, this allows us, in particular, to obtain significantly more precise estimates of the sensitivity of invariant projection operators (corresponding to the eigenvalues minimal in absolute value) to perturbations of the coefficients of these operators. We give a new definition of the dichotomy quality integral criteria as the L p -norm of the resolvent, which allows us to simplify the proofs and to formulate the final results in a more general and simpler form.  相似文献

We show that the spectral radius algebras of certain quadratic operators possess nontrivial invariant subspaces. Additionally, such algebras properly contain the operator’s commutant, so that the invariant subspaces are in some sense beyond hyperinvariant. The spectral radius algebras of idempotents are completely described and, as a consequence, it is shown that every intransitive collection of operators must be contained in a norm-closed proper spectral radius algebra.   相似文献

The Hilbert and Riesz transforms can be characterized up to scalar as the translation invariant operators that satisfy additionally certain relative invariance of conformal transformation groups. In this article, we initiate a systematic study of translation invariant operators from group theoretic viewpoints, and formalize a geometric condition that characterizes specific multiplier operators uniquely up to scalar by means of relative invariance of affine subgroups. After providing some interesting examples of multiplier operators having “large symmetry”, we classify which of these examples can be extended to continuous operators on L p (R n ) (1 < p < ∞). T.
