In the decay of Fe59 the following quantities have been measured:γ-ray intensities, conversion coefficients andβ-(circularly polarizedγ) correlations. The conversion coefficients were found to be: for the 1.10 MeVγ-transition, αtot.=(1.36±0.10)·10?4 and for the 1.29 MeVγ-transition, αtot.=(1.07±0.08)·10?4. The asymmetry parameterA of the correlationβ(0.27 MeV)?γ(1.29 MeV) were measured to beA= ?0.17±0.10, and forβ(0.46 MeV)?γ(1.10 MeV),A=?0.13±0.04. From these data and publishedγ?γ angular correlation measurements the following spins of Co59 levels could be deduced: 1.10 MeV,I=5/2?; 1.29 MeV,I=5/2?; and 1.43 MeV,I=3/2?. The two strongβ-ray groups are pure Gamow-Teller transitions (ΔI=1). The multipolarities of all fiveγ-rays are given.  相似文献

Laser atom-molecule reaction interaction through polarizability and dipole moment contribution leads to potential energy surface barrier reshaping and bound states along the reaction path. The polarizability is maximum in the transition state. We will show here by using gauge representation (electric field gauge) for wave length λ = 20.6 μm, intensity I = 1 × 1012 W/cm2, I = 5 × 1012 W/cm2, I = 1 × 1013 W/cm2, I = 3 × 1013 W/cm2, that we can create laser induced potential energy surface barrier reshaping in the transition state region (–1–0.5 a. u.). We illustrate such effects for the LiH + CH3 ? Li + CH4 reaction with a barrier using ab-initio methods for calculating the reaction path, polarizability and dipole moment contribution of the atom-molecule reaction.  相似文献

With a recording photoelectric Fabry-Perot spectrometer and an atomic-beam light source the hyperfine structure of the Mn I-resonance linesλ=4031 Å,λ=4033 Å,λ=4034 Å (3d 54s 2 a 6 S 5/2?3d 54s4p z 6 P 7/2,5/2,3/2 0)and of the inter-combination linesλ=5395 Å andλ=5433 Å (3d 54s 2 a 6 S 5/2?3d 54s4p z 8 P 7/2,5/2 0) was measured. Furthermore the resonance lines have been measured with a pulsed atomic-beam in absorption. In this case the quotient (I 0(ν)?I(ν))/I 0(ν) was recorded, whereI(ν)=I 0(ν) exp(?α(ν)d) is the observed intensity with absorption andI 0(ν) the intensity of the light source. From the hyperfine structure splitting the value of the electric quadrupole moment of Mn55 was derived to be:Q(Mn55)=+(0.35±0.05)·10?24 cm2.  相似文献

The theory of the interaction of electrons with a high-frequency electric field in one-dimensional two-barrier nanostructures with symmetric barriers of finite height and widths was developed. An exact solution to the Schrödinger equation was found for electrons in this nanostructure in the absence of high-frequency electric field. An analytical expression for the direct current I 0 induced in this structure by an incident electron flux with energy ε differing slightly from the resonant level energy ε r (|ε ? ε r | << ε r ) was derived. In the small-signal approximation, the active (field-phased) component I c of the alternating electric current was calculated. At ε > ε r , the current I c is negative in the entire frequency range, which suggests the possibility of ac electric field amplification and generation in the two-barrier resonant-tunneling structure with the barriers of finite height and width. Within the applicability of the theory (?ω << ε r ), the frequency at which amplification and generation of the ac electric field are possible reaches ω ? 1013 s ?1; the power transferred by electrons to the field is ~1 W/cm2.  相似文献

The low energy gamma-rays from neutron-capture in Lu 175 and Lu 176 have been investigated by means of the bent crystal-spectrometer at the DR-3-reactor at Risø. From the transitions in Lu 177 3 rotational bands have been determined. The levels of the (404)K=7/2+ groundstate rotational band are: 121,62 keV (I=9/2), 268,79keV (I=11/2), 440,66 keV (I=13/2), 636,22 keV (I=15/2), 854,34 keV (I=17/2). The level-sequence of the (514)K=9/2?-band is: 150,39 keV (I=9/2), 288,99 keV (I=11/2), 451,49 keV (I=13/2), 637,05 keV (I=15/2) and 844,88 keV (I=17/2). At 457,92 keV is the basis for the (402)K=5/2+-band the higher levels of which are 552,05 keV (I=7/2), 671,89 keV (I=9/2), 816,63 keV (I=11/2), 985,23 keV (I=13/2), 1176,73keV (I=15/2) and probably 1389,5 keV (I=17/2). The energies of the levels apart from the 1389 keV-level have an accuracy of 7×10?5. The energy differences between the 3 bands agree very well with the values expected from the Bohr-Mottelson-formulaE=A·I(I+1)+B·I 2(I+1)2. The calculated branching-ratios within the 3 bands are in fairly good agreement with the experimental values. Theg K -factors have been determined for 2 bands: It was found that for the (514)-bandg K =1,16±0,04 and for the (402)-bandg K =1,33±0,07.  相似文献

Cl38m was produced by neutron activation of chlorine containing samples in a pneumatic irradiation facility. The decay of the Cl38-isomer was investigated by various scintillation spectrometer technics. The half-life and the internal conversion coefficient α of the 0.66 MeV isomeric transition was found to beT 1/2=0.74±0.03 sec and α=(5.0±1.2)×10?4. These data suggest aM-3 transition between an isomeric state with the spinI=5? and the ground-state of Cl-38 (I=2?).  相似文献

A method is developed for discriminating between e+e?e+e? and e+e? → π+π? events in the center-of-mass (cms) energy range of 0.5 to 1.0 GeV by energy deposition in the electromagnetic calorimeter of the SND detector using a machine learning algorithm. Identification efficiencies for e+e?e+e? and e+e? → π+π? events are 99.6 and 99.8%, respectively.  相似文献

In an atomic beam magnetic resonance experiment, the hyperfine interaction constantsA andB of the4 I 2/15-groundstate of Ho165 were found to beA=800,58389 (50) MHz,B=?1667,997 (50) MHz. Using an effective value for 〈r ?3〉, the magnetic moment of the Ho165 nucleus was calculated to beμ=4·1(4)μ n . The quadrupolement was determined by use of the 〈r ?3〉 given byWatson andFreeman. Electron-positron pair production from vacuum in an electromagnetic field created by two counterpropagating focused laser pulses interacting with each other is analyzed. The dependence of the number of produced pairs on the intensity of a laser pulse and the focusing parameter is studied with a realistic three-dimensional model of the electromagnetic field of the focused wave, which is an exact solution of the Maxwell equations. It has been shown that e+e? pair production can be experimentally observed when the intensity of each beam is I~1026 W/cm2, which is two orders of magnitude lower than that for a single pulse.  相似文献

The emission spectra of Zn1?x Mn x Te/Zn0.6Mg0.4Te and Cd1?x Mn x Te/Cd0.5Mg0.5Te quantum-well structures with different manganese concentrations and quantum-well widths are studied at excitation power densities ranging from 105 to 107 W cm?2. Under strong optical pumping, intracenter luminescence of Mn2+ ions degrades as a result of the interaction of excited managanese ions with high-density excitons. This process is accompanied by a strong broadening of the emission band of quantum-well excitons due to the exciton-exciton interaction and saturation of the exciton ground state. Under pumping at a power density of 105 W cm?2, stimulated emission of quantum-well excitons arises in CdTe/Cd0.5Mg0.5Te. The luminescence kinetics of the quantum-well and barrier excitons is investigated with a high temporal resolution. The effect of the quantum-well width and the managanese concentration on the kinetics and band shape of the Mn2+ intracenter luminescence characterized by the contribution of the manganese interface ions is determined.  相似文献

The losses through bremsstrahlung in a sufficiently diluted hydrogen plasma (plasma with infinitely large Debye-Hückel radius) are calculated for the relativistic (kT?mc 2) and ultra-relativistic (kT?mc 2) region of electron temperatures. (m is the rest mass of the electron). In the ultra-relativistic temperature region the amount of energyI tot emitted by 1 cm3 of plasma per sec as a result of electron-ion and electron-electron collisions is given by

The isotope shifts of lines in the spectra of the LiLuF4:Ho3+ crystal in the range of the transitions 5 I 85 I 7, 5 I 6, and 5 I 5 caused by the isotopic disorder with respect to lithium are measured. The shifts of different lines amount to 0.01–0.036 cm?1. A comparison with the previously measured isotope shifts in the spectra of the LiYF4:Ho3+ crystal is made.  相似文献

Dc and ac electrical conductivity of lead molybdate crystals is studied in the temperature range 300–550 K. The electrical conductivity was shown to have electronic (hole) impurity character. The IV characteristics are typical of a space charge-limited current. The carrier mobility was estimated to be 10?5 cm2 V?1 sat T=300 K. The results of the study suggest the hopping mechanism of conduction in PbMoO4 crystals.  相似文献

The nuclear Zeeman levels of the odd isotopes of Ytterbium (171Yb,171 I=1/2;173Yb,173 I=5/2) were polarized in the atomic ground state (6s 2 1 S 0) by means of optical pumping with the resonance line (6s 2 1 S 0 ? 6s6p 1 P 1,λ=3988 å). The magnetic moments, calculated from the nuclear Hf-Zeeman transitions in a magnetic field of 228 Gauss are171 Μ I=0.49188 (2)Μ K 173 Μ I=0,67755 (3)Μ K (with diamagnetic correction applied).  相似文献

The formation of an energy cascade in a system of vortices generated by perpendicular standing waves with a frequency of 6 Hz on the water surface has been experimentally studied. It has been found that peaks appear on the energy distribution over wave vectors E(k) after switching on pumping. These peaks are transformed with time because of the energy redistribution over scales. The stationary distribution E(k) established 300 s after switching on pumping can be described by a power-law function of the wave vector E(k) ~ k1.75. It has been shown that waves with frequencies of about 18, 15, 12, 9, and 3 Hz appear on the surface of water owing to the nonlinear interaction at the excitation of a 6-Hz wave. It is assumed that the energy cascade of the turbulent motion in the wave vector range of 0.3–5 cm?1 is formed by the nonlinear interaction between vortices generated by all waves propagating on the surface and direct energy fluxes toward high wave vectors dominate.  相似文献

Weak magnetic fields with an induction B = 0.28 T are found to have an effect on the transformation of subsystems of structural (intrinsic and radiation-induced) silicon defects under irradiation with a low-intensity flux of beta particles (I = 105 cm?2 s?1). The time dependence of scintillation intensity from single crystals ofp-terphenyl and mixed crystals ofp-terphenyl and anthracene after bombarding with α-particles was investigated at the two temperaturesT=296 °K andT=92 °K. For the crystals ofp-terphenyl the time dependence of the scintillation anisotropy was also measured. Using the formulas given byKing andVoltz the decay curves ofp-terphenyl were decomposed into two components. Good agreement between experiment and theory was found. The ratio of the prompt intensity to the delayed intensity was determined to be 1∶2 atT=296 °K and 1∶3 atT=92 °K. The diffusion constants for triplet excitons were calculated to beD T(296 °K)≈10?5 cm2 sec?1 andD T(92 °K)≈ 2×10?6 cm2 sec?1, and the triplet-triplet interaction rate constantsχ tt(296 °K)≈ 2.5×10?11 cm3 sec?1 andχ tt(92 °K)≈0.5×10?11 cm3 sec?1.  相似文献

The crystal structure of samples in the (CuInSe2)1 ? x (2MnSe) x system at room temperature and their magnetic susceptibility in the temperature range 77–1000 K are investigated. It is established that compositions with concentrations 0≤ x ≤ 0.2 form solid solutions with a tetragonal structure, space group I \(\bar 4\)2d (122). The specific magnetic susceptibility χ of samples with 0.1 ≤ x ≤ 0.4 at 77 K lies in the range 9 × 10?4?1.6 × 10t-3cm3/g. The temperature dependence of the inverse magnetic susceptibility of the sample with x = 0.4 suggests the presence of a component with antiferromagnetic ordering and a reliably measured Néel temperature that is characteristic of MnSe. The dependences χ = f(T) of the compositions with x = 0.1, 0.2, 0.3, and 0.4 indicate the occurrence of magnetic phase transitions with a change in the spin state.  相似文献

The luminescence-response of ZnS/Ag and CaWO4 to ion-bombardement and the deterioration of luminescence under prolonged irradiation was determined as a function of ion-energyE, ion-massM i and beam-densityI. The variation of lightoutput with ion-energy is of the formJ 0=C. (E-E 0) n withn=2 (ZnS/Ag) or lower values (CaWO4). The luminescence-response to ions of various mass was found to decrease generally with growing mass, but to be nearly constant to ions of middle atomic weight (ZnS/Ag). The luminescence-efficiency, caused by ions of energy greater than 5 keV, is independent of beam-density within the whole range studied here (maximum 3 · 10?7 A · cm?2), but it diminishes in the caseE=5 keV for values ofI above 6 · 10?8 A · cm?2. The deterioration-effect grows, except in the case of He+-ions, the lightest ions used here, with ion-energy. It also increases by substituting Ne+- for He+-ions, but remains nearly independent of mass (CaWO4) or diminishes with growing ion-mass (ZnS/Ag), if the ions are heavier than Ne+-ions. Increasing beam-density leads to a reduced deterioration of ZnS/Ag-luminescence, yet has no influence to that of CaWO4.  相似文献

The capacitance-voltage and current-voltage characteristics of the n-CdS/p-CdTe heterosystem are investigated. Analysis of these characteristics demonstrates that the CdTe1?x S x solid solution formed at the n-CdS/p-CdTe heterointerface is inhomogeneous in both the conductivity and composition. The thickness of solid solutions is estimated from the capacitance-voltage characteristics. It is shown that, for the n-CdS/p-CdTe heterosystem, the current-voltage characteristic in the current density range 10?8-10?5 A cm?2 is governed by the thermal electron emission, whereas the current in the heterostructure at current densities in the range 10?4-10?2 A cm?2 is limited by recombination of charge carriers in the electroneutral region of the CdTe1?x S x solid solution. The lifetime and the diffusion length of minority charge carriers in the CdTe1?x S x solid solution and the surface recombination rate at the interface between the CdS layer and the CdTe1?x S x solid solution are determined. It is demonstrated that the n-CdS/p-CdTe heterostructure operates as a p-i-n structure in which CdTe is a p layer, CdTe1?x S x is an i layer, and CdS is an n layer.  相似文献
