Dissociative recombination (DR) of the water cluster ions H(+)(H(2)O)(3) and D(+)(D(2)O)(3) with electrons has been studied at the heavy-ion storage ring CRYRING (Manne Siegbahn Laboratory, Stockholm University). For the first time, absolute DR cross sections have been measured for H(+)(H(2)O)(3) in the energy range of 0.001-0.8 eV, and relative cross sections have been measured for D(+)(D(2)O)(3) in the energy range of 0.001-1.0 eV. The DR cross sections for H(+)(H(2)O)(3) are larger than previously observed for H(+)(H(2)O)(n) (n=1,2), which is in agreement with the previously observed trend indicating that the DR rate coefficient increases with size of the water cluster ion. Branching ratios have been determined for the dominating product channels. Dissociative recombination of H(+)(H(2)O)(3) mainly results in the formation of 3H(2)O+H (probability of 0.95+/-0.05) and with a possible minor channel resulting in 2H(2)O+OH+H(2) (0.05+/-0.05). The dominating channels for DR of D(+)(D(2)O)(3) are 3D(2)O+D (0.88+/-0.03) and 2D(2)O+OD+D(2) (0.09+/-0.02). The branching ratios are comparable to earlier DR results for H(+)(H(2)O)(2) and D(+)(D(2)O)(2), which gave 2X(2)O+X (X=H,D) with a probability of over 0.9.  相似文献

The TOF spectra of photofragment hydrogen atoms from the 193 nm photodissociation of amorphous ice at 90-140 K have been measured. The spectra consist of both a fast and a slow components that are characterized by average translational energies of 2k(B)T(trans)=0.39+/-0.04 eV (2300+/-200 K) and 0.02 eV (120+/-20 K), respectively. The incident laser power dependency of the hydrogen atom production suggests one-photon process. The electronic excitation energy of a branched cluster, (H(2)O)(6+1), has been theoretically calculated, where (H(2)O)(6+1) is a (H(2)O)(6) cyclic cluster attached by a water molecule with the hydrogen bond. The photoabsorption of this branched cluster is expected to appear at around 200 nm. The source of the hydrogen atoms is attributed to the photodissociation of the ice surface that is attached by water molecules with the hydrogen bond. Atmospheric implications are estimated for the photodissociation of the ice particles (Noctilucent clouds) at 190-230 nm in the region between 80 and 85 km altitude.  相似文献

The novel heteropolyanion [Cu(4)K(2)(H(2)O)(8)(alpha-AsW(9)O(33))(2)](8)(-) (1) has been synthesized and characterized by IR spectroscopy, elemental analysis, and magnetic studies. Single-crystal X-ray analysis was carried out on [K(7)Na[Cu(4)K(2)(H(2)O)(6)(alpha-AsW(9)O(33))(2)].5.5H(2)O](n)(K(7)Na-1), which crystallizes in the tetragonal system, space group P42(1)m, with a = 16.705(4) A, b = 16.705(4) A, c = 13.956(5) A, and Z = 2. Interaction of the lacunary [alpha-AsW(9)O(33)](9)(-) with Cu(2+) ions in neutral, aqueous medium leads to the formation of the dimeric polyoxoanion 1 in high yield. Polyanion 1 consists of two alpha-AsW(9)O(33) units joined by a cyclic arrangement of four Cu(2+) and two K(+) ions, resulting in a structure with C(2)(v)() symmetry. All copper ions have one terminal water molecule, resulting in square-pyramidal coordination geometry. Three of the copper ions are adjacent to each other and connected via two micro(3)-oxo bridges. EPR studies on K(7)Na-1 and also on Na(9)[Cu(3)Na(3)(H(2)O)(9)(alpha-AsW(9)O(33))(2)].26H(2)O (Na(9)-2) over 2-300 K yielded g values that are consistent with a square-pyramidal coordination around the copper(II) ions in 1 and 2. No hyperfine structure was observed due to the presence of strong spin exchange, but fine structure was observed for the excited (S(T) = 3/2) state of Na(9)-2 and the ground state (S(T) = 1) of K(7)Na-1. The zero-field (D) parameters have also been determined for these states, constituting a rare case wherein one observes EPR from both the ground and the excited states. Magnetic susceptibility data show that Na(9)-2 has antiferromagnetically coupled Cu(2+) ions, with J = -1.36 +/- 0.01 cm(-)(1), while K(7)Na-1 has both ferromagnetically and antiferromagnetically coupled Cu(2+) ions (J(1) = 2.78 +/- 0.13 cm(-)(1), J(2) = -1.35 +/- 0.02 cm(-)(1), and J(3) = -2.24 +/- 0.06 cm(-)(1)), and the ground-state total spins are S(T) = 1/2 in Na(9)-2 and S(T) = 1 in K(7)Na-1.  相似文献

The photoelectron spectra of the structural isomers of the three- and four-carbon enolate anions, n-C3H5O(-), i-C3H5O(-), n-C4H7O(-), s-C4H7O(-), and i-C4H7O(-) have been measured at 355 nm. Both the X(2A' ') ground and A(2A') first excited states of the corresponding radicals were accessed from the X(1A') ground state of the enolate anions. The separation energies of the ground and first excited states (T0) were determined: T0[(E)-n-C3H5O] = 1.19 +/- 0.02 eV, T0[(Z)-n-C3H5O] = 0.99 +/- 0.02 eV, T0[i-C3H5O] = 1.01 +/- 0.02 eV, T0[n-C4H7O] = 1.19 +/- 0.02 eV, T0[(2,3)-s-C4H7O] = 1.25 +/- 0.02 eV, T0[(1,2)-s-C4H7O] = 0.98 +/- 0.02 eV, and T0[i-C4H7O] = 1.36 +/- 0.02 eV. The effects of alkyl substitution on the vibronic structure and energetics previously observed in the vinoxy radical are discussed. The X(1A')-X(2A' ') relative stability is strongly influenced by substitution whereas the X(1A')-A(2A') relative stability remains nearly constant for all of the observed structural isomers. Alkyl substitution at the carbonyl carbon affects vibronic structure more profoundly than the energetics, while the converse is observed upon alkyl substitution at the alpha carbon.  相似文献

The kinetics of the reactions of CH2Br and CH2I radicals with O2 have been studied in direct measurements using a tubular flow reactor coupled to a photoionization mass spectrometer. The radicals have been homogeneously generated by pulsed laser photolysis of appropriate precursors at 193 or 248 nm. Decays of radical concentrations have been monitored in time-resolved measurements to obtain the reaction rate coefficients under pseudo-first-order conditions with the amount of O2 being in large excess over radical concentrations. No buffer gas density dependence was observed for the CH2I + O2 reaction in the range 0.2-15 x 10(17) cm(-3) of He at 298 K. In this same density range the CH2Br + O2 reaction was obtained to be in the third-body and fall-off area. Measured bimolecular rate coefficient of the CH2I + O2 reaction is found to depend on temperature as k(CH2I + O2)=(1.39 +/- 0.01)x 10(-12)(T/300 K)(-1.55 +/- 0.06) cm3 s(-1)(220-450 K). Obtained primary products of this reaction are I atom and IO radical and the yield of I-atom is significant. The rate coefficient and temperature dependence of the CH2Br + O2 reaction in the third-body region is k(CH2Br + O2+ He)=(1.2 +/- 0.2)x 10(-30)(T/300 K)(-4.8 +/- 0.3) cm6 s(-1)(241-363 K), which was obtained by fitting the complete data set simultaneously to a Troe expression with the F(cent) value of 0.4. Estimated overall uncertainties in the measured reaction rate coefficients are about +/-25%.  相似文献

The dissociative recombination of OPCl+ and OPCl2+ has been studied at the storage ring CRYRING. The rate constants as a function of electron temperature have been derived to be 7.63 x 10(-7)(Te/300)(-0.89) and >1.2 x 10(-6)(Te/300)(-1.22) cm3s(-1), respectively. The lower limit quoted for the latter rate constant reflects the experimental inability to detect all of the reaction products. The branching fractions from the reaction have been measured for OPCl+ at approximately 0 eV interaction energy and are determined to be N(O+P+Cl)=(16+/-7)%, N(O+PCl)=(16+/-3)% and N(OP+Cl)=(68+/-5)%. These values have been obtained assuming that the rearrangement channel forming P+ClO is negligible, and ab initio calculations using GAUSSIAN03 are presented for the ion structures and energetics to support such an assumption. Finally, the limitations to using heavy ion storage rings such as CRYRING for studies into the dissociative recombination of large singly charged molecular ions are discussed.  相似文献

Dissociative electron attachment (DEA) to gaseous formamide, HCONH(2), has been investigated in the energy range between 0 eV and 18 eV using a crossed electron/molecule beam technique. The negative ion fragments have been comprehensively monitored and assigned to molecular structures by comparison with the results for two differently deuterated derivatives, namely 1D-formamide, DCONH(2), and N,N,D-formamide, HCOND(2). The following products were observed: HCONH(-), CONH(2)(-), HCON(-), OCN(-), HCNH(-), CN(-), NH(2)(-)/O(-), NH(-), and H(-). NH(2)(-) was also separated from O(-) by using high-resolution negative ion mass spectrometry. Four resonant dissociation channels can be resolved, the strongest ones being located between 2.0 and 2.7 eV and between 6.0 and 7.0 eV. CN(-) as the most abundant fragment and HCONH(-) are the dominant products of the first of these two resonances. The most important products of the latter resonance are NH(2)(-), CN(-), H(-), CONH(2)(-), and OCN(-). It is thus found that the loss of neutral H is a site-selective process, dissociation from the N site taking place between 2.0 and 2.7 eV while dissociation from the C site occurs between 6.0 and 7.0 eV. The suitability of these reactions and thus of formamide as an agent for electron-induced surface functionalisation is discussed.  相似文献

The atmospherically relevant chemistry generated by photolysis of I2/O3 mixtures has been studied at 298 K in the pressure range from 10 to 400 hPa by using a laboratory flash photolysis setup combining atomic resonance and molecular absorption spectroscopy. The temporal behaviors of I, I(2), IO, and OIO have been retrieved. Conventional kinetic methods and numerical modeling have been applied to investigate the IO self-reaction and the secondary chemistry. A pressure independent value of k(IO + IO) = (7.6 +/- 1.1) x 10(-11) cm(3) molecule-1 s(-1) has been determined. The pressure dependence of the branching ratios for the I + OIO and IOIO product channels in the IO + IO reaction have been determined and have values of 0.45 +/- 0.10 and 0.44 +/- 0.13 at 400 hPa, respectively. The branching ratios for the 2I + O(2) and I(2) + O(2) product channels are pressure independent with values of 0.09 +/- 0.06 and 0.05 +/- 0.03, respectively. The sensitivity analysis indicates that the isomer IOIO is more thermally stable than predicted by theoretical calculations. A reaction scheme comprising OIO polymerization steps has been shown to be consistent with the temporal behaviors recorded in this study. For simplicity, the rate coefficient has been assumed to be the same for each reaction (OIO)(n) + IO --> (OIO)(n+1), n = 1, 2, 3, 4. The lower limit obtained for this rate coefficient is (1.2 +/- 0.3) x 10(-10) cm(3) molecule(-1) s(-1) at 400 hPa. Evidence for the participation of IO in the polymerization mechanism also has been found. The rate coefficient for IO attachment to OIO and to small polymers has been determined to be larger than (5 +/- 2) x 10(-11) cm(3) molecule(-1) s(-1) at 400 hPa. These results provide supporting evidence for atmospheric particle formation induced by polymerization of iodine oxides.  相似文献

Threshold photoelectron-photoion coincidence spectroscopy has been used to investigate the dissociation kinetics of the manganocene ion, Cp(2)Mn(+) (Cp = eta(5)-cyclopentadienyl). The Cp loss reaction was found to be extremely slow over a large ion internal energy range. By simulating the measured asymmetric time-of-flight peak shapes and breakdown diagram, the 0 K thermochemical dissociation limit for CpMn(+) production was determined to be 9.55 +/- 0.15 eV. A CpMn(+)-Cp bond energy of 3.43 eV was obtained by combining this CpMn(+) + Cp dissociation limit with the Cp(2)Mn adiabatic ionization energy of 6.12 +/- 0.07 eV. Combining the measured onset with known heats of formation of Cp and Mn(+), the Cp-Mn(+) bond energy was determined to be 3.38 +/- 0.15 eV. These results lead to 298 K heats of formation of Cp(2)Mn(+) and CpMn(+) of 863 +/- 7 and 935 +/- 16 kJ/mol, respectively. Finally, by combining these results with a previous measurement of the CpMn(CO)(3) --> CpMn(+) + 3CO + e(-) dissociation limit, we arrive at a new value for Delta(f)H degrees (298K)(CpMn(CO)(3)) of -424 +/- 17 kJ/mol.  相似文献

The photodissociation of (56)FeO was studied by means of the velocity map imaging technique. A molecular beam of iron atoms and iron monoxide molecules was created using an electrical discharge with an iron electrode in a supersonic expansion of molecular oxygen. The ground state iron atom Fe((5)D(4)) and FeO concentrations in the molecular beam have been estimated. The dissociation energy of the FeO X (5)Delta ground electronic state was found to be D(0) (0)(FeO)=4.18+/-0.01 eV. The effective absorption cross section of FeO at 252.39 nm (vac), leading to the Fe((5)D(4))+O((3)P) dissociation channel, is approximately 1.2 x 10(-18) cm(2). A (1+1) resonantly enhanced multiphoton ionization spectrum of (56)FeO in the region 39 550-39 580 cm(-1) with rotational structure has been observed, but not assigned. Angular distributions of Fe((5)D(4)) and Fe((5)D(3)) products for the channel FeO-->Fe((5)D(4,3))+O((3)P) have been measured at several points in the 210-260 nm laser light wavelength region. The anisotropy parameter varies strongly with wavelength for both channels.  相似文献

Vertical electron detachment energies (VDEs) are calculated for a variety of (H(2)O)(n)(-) and (HF)(n)(-) isomers, using different electronic structure methodologies but focusing in particular on a comparison between second-order M?ller-Plesset perturbation theory (MP2) and coupled-cluster theory with noniterative triples, CCSD(T). For the surface-bound electrons that characterize small (H(2)O)(n)(-) clusters (n< or = 7), the correlation energy associated with the unpaired electron grows linearly as a function of the VDE but is unrelated to the number of monomers, n. In every example considered here, including strongly-bound "cavity" isomers of (H(2)O)(24)(-), the correlation energy associated with the unpaired electron is significantly smaller than that associated with typical valence electrons. As a result, the error in the MP2 detachment energy, as a fraction of the CCSD(T) value, approaches a limit of about -7% for (H(2)O)(n)(-) clusters with VDEs larger than about 0.4 eV. CCSD(T) detachment energies are bounded from below by MP2 values and from above by VDEs calculated using second-order many-body perturbation theory with molecular orbitals obtained from density functional theory. For a variety of both strongly- and weakly-bound isomers of (H(2)O)(20)(-) and (H(2)O)(24)(-), including both surface states and cavity states, these bounds afford typical error bars of +/-0.1 eV. We have found only one case where the Hartree-Fock and density functional orbitals differ qualitatively; in this case the aforementioned bounds lie 0.4 eV apart, and second-order perturbation theory may not be reliable.  相似文献

A dodecazinc silicotungstate K(20)Na(2)[Zn(6)(OH)(7)(H(2)O)(Si(2)W(18)O(66))](2)·34H(2)O (1) has been synthesized and characterized by X-ray crystallography, elemental analysis, infrared, UV-vis spectroscopy, cyclic voltammetry, acid-base titration, and DFT calculations. The twelve zinc atoms between the two [Si(2)W(18)O(66)](16-) frameworks make this complex more stable hydrolytically than the heteropolytungstate ligands, [Si(2)W(18)O(66)](16-), themselves. The structurally unique central Zn(12) core is formed by the fusion of two [Zn(6)(OH)(7)(H(2)O)](5+) units through two edge-sharing Zn6 atoms. DFT B3LYP calculations give HOMO-LUMO and (HOMO - 1)-LUMO energy gaps of ~3.65 and 3.91 eV, respectively, as compared to the band gap in ZnO of 3.35 eV.  相似文献

The kinetics of the reactions of chlorinated methyl radicals (CH2Cl, CHCl2, and CCl3) with NO2 have been studied in direct measurements at temperatures between 220 and 360 K using a tubular flow reactor coupled to a photoionization mass spectrometer. The radicals have been homogeneously generated at 193 or 248 nm by pulsed laser photolysis of appropriate precursors. Decays of radical concentrations have been monitored in time-resolved measurements to obtain the reaction rate coefficients under pseudo-first-order conditions with the amount of NO2 being in large excess over radical concentrations. The bimolecular rate coefficients of all three reactions are independent of the bath gas (He or N2) and pressure within the experimental range (1-6 Torr) and are found to depend on temperature as follows: k(CH2Cl + NO2) = (2.16 +/- 0.08) x 10(-11) (T/300 K)(-1.12+/-0.24) cm3 molecule(-1) s(-1) (220-363 K), k(CHCl2 + NO2) = (8.90 +/- 0.16) x 10(-12) (T/300 K)(-1.48+/-0.13) cm3 molecule(-1) s(-1) (220-363 K), and k(CCl3 + NO2) = (3.35 +/- 0.10) x 10(-12) (T/300 K)(-2.2+/-0.4) cm3 molecule(-1) s(-1) (298-363 K), with the uncertainties given as one-standard deviations. Estimated overall uncertainties in the measured bimolecular reaction rate coefficients are about +/-25%. In the reactions CH2Cl + NO2, CHCl2 + NO2, and CCl3 + NO2, the products observed are formaldehyde, CHClO, and phosgene (CCl2O), respectively. In addition, a weak signal for the HCl formation has been detected for the CHCl2 + NO2 reaction.  相似文献

The 1,1-dimethylhydrazine ion ((CH3)2NNH2+*) has two low-energy dissociation channels, the loss of a hydrogen atom to form the fragment ion m/z 59, (CH3)(CH2)NNH2+, and the loss of a methyl radical to form the fragment ion m/z 45, the methylhydrazyl cation, CH3NNH2+. The dissociation of the 1,1-dimethylhydrazine ion has been investigated using threshold photoelectron-photoion coincidence (TPEPICO) spectroscopy, in the photon energy range 8.25-31 eV, and tandem mass spectrometry. Theoretical breakdown curves have been obtained from a variational transition state theory (VTST) modeling of the two reaction channels and compared to those obtained from experiment. Seven transition states have been found at the B3-LYP/6-31+G(d) level of theory for the methyl radical loss channel in the internal energy range of 2.32-3.56 eV. The methyl loss channel transition states are found at R(N-C) = 4.265, 4.065, 3.965, 3.165, 2.765, 2.665, and 2.565 A over this internal energy range. Three transition states have been found for the hydrogen atom loss channel: R(H-C) = 2.298, 2.198, and 2.098 A. The DeltaS++(45) value, at an internal energy of 2.32 eV and a bond distance of R(N-C) = 4.265 A, is 65 J K-1 mol-1. As the internal energy increases to 3.56 eV the variational transition state moves to lower R value so that at R(N-C) = 2.565 A, the DeltaS++ decreases to 29 J K-1 mol-1. For the hydrogen atom loss channel the variation in DeltaS++ is less than that for the methyl loss channel. To obtain agreement with the experimental breakdown curves, DeltaS++(59) = 26-16 J K-1 mol-1 over the studied internal energy range. The 0 K enthalpies of formation (DeltafH0) for the two fragment ions m/z 45 and m/z 59 have been calculated from the 0 K activation energies (E0) obtained from the fitting procedure: DeltafH0[CH3NNH2+] = 906 +/- 6 kJ mol-1 and DeltafH0[(CH3)(CH2)NNH2+] = 822 +/- 7 kJ mol-1. The calculated G3 values are DeltafH0[CH3NNH2+] = 911 kJ mol-1 and DeltafH0[(CH3)(CH2)NNH2+] = 825 kJ mol-1. In addition to the two low-energy dissociation products, 21 other fragment ions have been observed in the dissociation of the 1,1-dimethylhydrazine ion as the photon energy was increased. Their appearance energies are reported.  相似文献

The ion conductivity of zirconium hydrogen monothiophosphate (Zr(HPO(3)S)(2)x1.5H(2)O) has been measured by impedance spectroscopy. The measured value of proton conductivity is 3 x 10(-5) S/cm at 298 K. Conductivity was shown to decrease with increasing temperature due to a dehydration process. Above 450 K, the conductivity is likely governed by proton transport in the anhydrous phase Zr(HPO(3)S)(2). The activation energies of proton conductivity were measured to be 18 +/- 2 kJ/mol for Zr(HPO(3)S)(2)x1.5H(2)O and 60 +/- 3 kJ/mol for the anhydrous compound. The kinetics of ion exchange was studied with the use of potentiometric titration for several ion pairs, H(+)/Na(+), H(+)/Zn(2+), and Na(+)/Zn(2+) in Zr(HPO(3)S)(2)x1.5H(2)O. The diffusion coefficient values for H(+)/Na(+) ion exchange in Zr(HPO(3)S)(2)x1.5H(2)O are lower than those reported in alpha-zirconium phosphate. At the same time, the mobility of zinc ions in Zr(HPO(3)S)(2)x1.5H(2)O is higher than sodium ion mobility. The ion exchange H(+)/Zn(2+) is accompanied by the slow hydrolysis of the initial compound. In all cases, the powdered solids were evaluated by powder X-ray diffraction, and particle sizes were controlled by grinding and sieving the powders.  相似文献

Rate constants for the reactions of OH radicals and NO3 radicals with O,O-diethyl methylphosphonothioate [(C(2)H(5)O)(2)P(S)CH(3); DEMPT] and O,O,O-triethyl phosphorothioate [(C(2)H(5)O)(3)PS; TEPT] have been measured using relative rate methods at atmospheric pressure of air over the temperature range 296-348 K for the OH radical reactions and at 296 +/- 2 K for the NO(3) radical reactions. At 296 +/- 2 K, the rate constants obtained for the OH radical reactions (in units of 10(-11) cm(3) molecule(-1) s(-1)) were 20.4 +/- 0.8 and 7.92 +/- 0.27 for DEMPT and TEPT, respectively, and those for the NO(3) radical reactions (in units of 10(-15) cm(3) molecule(-1) s(-1)) were 2.01 +/- 0.20 and 1.03 +/- 0.10, respectively. Upper limits to the rate constants for the reactions of O(3) with DEMPT and TEPT of <6 x 10(-20) cm(3) molecule(-1) s(-1) were determined in each case. Rate constants for the OH radical reactions, measured relative to k(OH + alpha-pinene) = 1.21 x 10(-11) e(436/T) cm(3) molecule(-1) s(-1), resulted in the Arrhenius expressions k(OH + DEMPT) = 1.08 x 10(-11) e(871+/-25)/T cm(3) molecule(-1) s(-1) and k(OH + TEPT) = 8.21 x 10(-13) e(1353+/-49)/T cm(3) molecule(-1) s(-1) over the temperature range 296-348 K, where the indicated errors are two least-squares standard deviations and do not include the uncertainties in the reference rate constant. Diethyl methylphosphonate was identified and quantified from the OH radical and NO(3) radical reactions with DEMPT, with formation yields of 21 +/- 4%, independent of temperature, from the OH radical reaction and 62 +/- 11% from the NO(3) radical reaction at 296 +/- 2 K. Similarly, triethyl phosphate was identified and quantified from the OH radical and NO(3) radical reactions with TEPT, with formation yields of 56 +/- 9%, independent of temperature, from the OH radical reaction and 78 +/- 15% from the NO(3) radical reaction at 296 +/- 2 K.  相似文献

Dissociative recombination of vibrationally relaxed H2O+ ions with electrons has been studied in the heavy-ion storage ring CRYRING. Absolute cross-sections have been measured for collision energies between 0 eV and 30 eV. The energy dependence of the cross-section below 0.1 eV is found to be much steeper than the E-1 behaviour associated with the dominance of the direct recombination mechanism. Resonant structures found at 4 eV and 11 eV have been attributed to the electron capture to Rydberg states converging to electronically excited ionic states. Complete branching fractions for all dissociation channels have been measured at a collision energy of 0 eV. The dissociation process is dominated by three-body H + H + O breakup that occurs with a branching ratio of 0.71.  相似文献

The photodissociation of N(2)O at wavelengths near 130 nm has been investigated by velocity-mapped product imaging. In all, five dissociation channels have been detected, leading to the following products: O((1)S)+N(2)(X (1)Sigma), N((2)D)+NO(X (2)Pi), N((2)P)+NO(X (2)Pi), O((3)P) + N(2)(A (3)Sigma(+) (u)), and O((3)P) + N(2)(B (3)Pi(g)). The most significant channel is to the products O((1)S) + N(2)(X(1)Sigma), with strong vibrational excitation in the N(2). The O((3)P) + N(2)(A,B):N((2)D,(2)P) + NO branching ratio is measured to be 1.4 +/- 0.5, while the N(2)(A) + O((3)P(J)):N(2)(B) + O((3)P(J)) branching ratio is determined to be 0.84+/-0.09. The spin-orbit distributions for the O((3)P(J)), N((2)P(J)), and N((2)D(J)) products were also determined. The angular distributions of the products are in qualitative agreement with excitation to the N(2)O(D (1)Sigma(+)) state, with participation as well by the (3)Pi(v) state.  相似文献

Geometry optimization and harmonic vibrational frequency calculations have been carried out on low-lying doublet and quartet electronic states of stannous (tin(II)) dichloride anion (SnCl(2)(-)) employing the CASSCF and RCCSD(T) methods. The small-core fully-relativistic effective core potential, ECP28MDF, was used for Sn in these calculations, together with valence basis sets of up to augmented correlation-consistent polarized-valence quintuple-zeta (aug-cc-pV5Z) quality. The ground electronic state of SnCl(2)(-) is determined to be the X(2)B(1) state, with the A(2)B(2) and ?(4)Sigma state, calculated to be ca. 1.50 and 2.72 eV higher in energy respectively. The electron affinities of the X(1)A(1) and ?(3)B(1) states of SnCl(2) have been computed to be 1.568+/-0.007 and 4.458+/-0.002 eV respectively, including contributions of core correlation and extrapolation to the complete basis set limit. The SnCl(2) (X(1)A(1)) + e <-- SnCl(2)(-) (X(2)B(1)) and SnCl(2) (?(3)B(1)) + e <-- SnCl(2)(-) (X(2)B(1)) photodetachment bands have been simulated with computed Franck-Condon factors, which include an allowance for anharmonicity and Duschinsky rotation.  相似文献
