This paper is concerned with the existence of camel-like traveling wave solutions of cellular neural networks distributed in the one-dimensional integer lattice . The dynamics of each given cell depends on itself and its nearest m left neighbor cells with instantaneous feedback. The profile equation of the infinite system of ordinary differential equations can be written as a functional differential equation in delayed type. Under appropriate assumptions, we can directly figure out the solution formula with many parameters. When the wave speed is negative and close to zero, we prove the existence of camel-like traveling waves for certain parameters. In addition, we also provide some numerical results for more general output functions and find out oscillating traveling waves numerically.  相似文献

In this paper, we study the problem of global exponential stability for a class of impulsive neural networks with bounded and unbounded delays and fixed moments of impulsive effect. In this paper we prove dominated and monotone convergence theorems for HL integrable Banach-valued functions. These results and a fixed point theorem in ordered spaces are then applied to prove existence and comparison results for integral equations of Fredholm type in ordered Banach spaces involving Kurzweil integrals or improper integrals. Results are used also to solve concrete second-order functional boundary value problems involving discontinuities and singularities.  相似文献

This study investigates the complexity of the global set of output patterns for one-dimensional multi-layer cellular neural networks with input. Applying labeling to the output space produces a sofic shift space. Two invariants, namely spatial entropy and dynamical zeta function, can be exactly computed by studying the induced sofic shift space. This study gives sofic shift a realization through a realistic model. Furthermore, a new phenomenon, the broken of symmetry of entropy, is discovered in multi-layer cellular neural networks with input.  相似文献

The paper gives sufficient conditions for the existence and nonuniqueness of monotone solutions of a nonlinear ordinary differential equation of the second order subject to two nonlinear boundary conditions one of which is two-point and the other is integral. In this paper, we investigate the stochastic functional differential equations with infinite delay. Some sufficient conditions are derived to ensure the pth moment exponential stability and pth moment global asymptotic stability of stochastic functional differential equations with infinite delay by using Razumikhin method and Lyapunov functions. Based on the obtained results, we further study the pth moment exponential stability of stochastic recurrent neural networks with unbounded distributed delays. The result extends and improves the earlier publications. Two examples are given to illustrate the applicability of the obtained results.  相似文献

In this paper the shunting inhibitory cellular neural networks (SICNNs) with continuously distributed delays are considered. Without assuming the global Lipschitz conditions of activation functions, sufficient conditions for the existence and local exponential stability of the almost periodic solutions are established by using a fixed point theorem, Lyapunov functional method and differential inequality techniques. This paper demonstrates that there is a discrete-time analogue which does not require any restriction on the size of the time-step in order to preserve the exponential stability of an artificial neural network with distributed delays. The analysis exploits an appropriate Lyapunov sequence and a discrete-time system of Halanay inequalities, and also either a Young inequality or a geometric-arithmetic mean inequality, to derive several sufficient conditions on the network parameters for the exponential stability of the analogue. The sufficiency conditions are independent of the time-step, and they correspond to those that establish the exponential stability of the continuous-time network.  相似文献

In this paper, we present a new method for solving singular two-point boundary value problem for certain ordinary differential equation having singular coefficients. Its exact solution is represented in the form of series in reproducing kernel space. In the mean time, the n  -term approximation un(x)un(x) to the exact solution u(x)u(x) is obtained and is proved to converge to the exact solution. Some numerical examples are studied to demonstrate the accuracy of the present method. Results obtained by the method are compared with the exact solution of each example and are found to be in good agreement with each other.  相似文献

In this paper, a class of recurrent neural networks with continuously distributed delays is discussed. Without resorting to the theory of exponential dichotomy, several new sufficient conditions are obtained ensuring the existence of an almost periodic solution for this model based on a special functional and analysis technique. Moreover, by constructing suitable Lyapunov functions, the attractivity and exponential stability of the almost periodic solution are also considered for the system. The results obtained are helpful to design globally stable almost periodic oscillatory neural networks. A numerical example is given to show the feasibility of the results obtained.  相似文献
