Coordination polymers are constructed from two basic components, namely metal ions, or metal‐ion clusters, and bridging organic ligands. Their structures may also contain other auxiliary components, such as blocking ligands, counter‐ions and nonbonding guest or template molecules. The choice or design of a suitable linker is essential. The new title zinc(II) coordination polymer, [Zn(C5H5NO3P)Cl]n , has been hydrothermally synthesized and structurally characterized by single‐crystal X‐ray diffraction and vibrational spectroscopy (FT–IR and FT–Raman). Additionally, computational methods have been applied to derive quantitative information about interactions present in the solid state. The compound crystallizes in the monoclinic space group C 2/c . The four‐coordinated ZnII cation is in a distorted tetrahedral environment, formed by three phosphonate O atoms from three different (pyridin‐1‐ium‐3‐yl)phosphonate ligands and one chloride anion. The ZnII ions are extended by phosphonate ligands to generate a ladder chain along the [001] direction. Adjacent ladders are held together via N—H…O hydrogen bonds and offset face‐to‐face π–π stacking interactions, forming a three‐dimensional supramolecular network with channels. As calculated, the interaction energy between the neighbouring ladders is −115.2 kJ mol−1. In turn, the cohesive energy evaluated per asymmetric unit‐equivalent fragment of a polymeric chain in the crystal structure is −205.4 kJ mol−1. This latter value reflects the numerous hydrogen bonds stabilizing the three‐dimensional packing of the coordination chains.  相似文献

This study presents the coordination modes and two‐dimensional network of a novel strontium(II) coordination polymer, [Sr(C7H5O5S)2(H2O)3]n. The eight‐coordinate Sr2+ ion is in a distorted bis‐disphenoidal coordination environment, surrounded by four sulfonate and one carboxyl O atom from five benzenesulfonate ligands, two of which are symmetry unique, and by three O atoms from three independent aqua ligands. The compound exhibits a monolayer structure with coordination bonds within and hydrogen bonds between the layers. The μ4 acid ligand bridges the metal ions in two dimensions to form a thick undulating monolayer with a hydrophobic interior and hydrophilic surfaces. A second independent monoanion is arranged outward from both sides of the monolayer and serves to link adjacent monolayers via carboxyl–water and water–carboxyl hydrogen bonds.  相似文献

The title compound, [Zn2(C5H6O4)2(C13H14N2)]n or [Zn2(glu)2(bpp)]n, is a novel zinc polymer based on mixed flexible glutarate (glu) and 1,3‐di‐4‐pyridylpropane (bpp) ligands. The ZnII center has a distorted tetrahedral geometry and the central atom of the bpp ligand is located at a special site with a C2 axis passing through it. A layer is formed by Zn–glu bonding. Such layers are pillared by bpp ligands, forming a three‐dimensional framework with large channels. The inverted interpenetration of two three‐dimensional frameworks completes the molecular structure.  相似文献

In the title compound, {[Zn(C8H4O5)(C12H8N2)]·H2O}n or {[Zn(OH‐BDC)(phen)]·H2O}n (where OH‐H2BDC is 5‐hydroxyisophthalic acid and phen is 1,10‐phenanthroline), the Zn atoms are coordinated by two N atoms from the phen ligands and by four O atoms from hydroxyisophthalate ligands in a highly distorted octahedral geometry, with Zn—O distances in the range 2.042 (4)–2.085 (5) Å and Zn—N distances of 2.133 (5) and 2.137 (5) Å. The {[Zn(OH‐BDC)(phen)]·H2O}n infinite zigzag polymer forms a helical chain of [Zn2(OH‐BDC)2]n units. Face‐to‐face π–π interactions (3.60–3.75 Å) occur between two phen rings belonging to the same helical chain. Consolidation of the packing structure is achieved by O—H⋯O hydrogen‐bonding interactions between the carboxylate O atoms, the hydroxyl group and the water molecule, forming two‐dimensional sheets.  相似文献

The present form of barium acetate, formulated as [Ba(C2H3O2)2(H2O)3]n, is the largest reported hydrate of the salt and this leads to a distinct structural behaviour setting it apart from the rest of the family. The compound is a linear polymer with a nine‐coordinate Ba(Oaqua)3(Oacetate)6 monomer unit. The non‐H part of the structure is ordered according to C2/m symmetry, while the disordered water H atoms only abide by this symmetry in a statistical sense. Each molecule is halved by a mirror plane bisecting the Ba centre, one water molecule and one acetate ligand, while containing the other acetate ligand. The chains are interconnected by a disordered water–water/acetate O—H...O hydrogen‐bonding network involving all water H atoms. The structure and stability of this phase are compared with the other known acetates of barium which differ in the degree of hydration.  相似文献

The title compound, tris[(R)‐2‐hydroxypropanamide‐κ2O,O′]zinc(II) tetrabromozincate, [Zn(C3H7NO2)3][ZnBr4], contains one monomeric six‐coordinate zinc complex cation and one tetrahedral [ZnBr4]2− anion. Both ZnII atoms lie on threefold axes. Coordination in the cation occurs via the amide and hydroxy O atoms [Zn—O = 2.074 (5) and 2.073 (6) Å] and has a distorted octahedral geometry, with cis‐O—Zn—O angles in the range 76.2 (2)–109.2 (2)°. In the crystal structure, the cations and anions are linked by N—H⋯Br and O—H⋯O hydrogen bonds, generating a three‐dimensional network.  相似文献

In the monomeric title compound, [Cu(C4H4O5)(C6H6N2O)(H2O)]·1.5H2O, the CuII cation is bound in a square‐pyramidal coordination to a tridentate oxydiacetate (ODA) ligand, a monodentate pyridine‐3‐carboxamide (p3ca) ligand and one aqua ligand, where the two organic ligands form the basal plane and the water O atom occupies the unique apical site. The ODA ligand presents a slight out‐of‐plane puckering in its central ether O atom, while the p3ca ligand is essentially planar. The availability of efficient donors and acceptors for hydrogen bonding results in the formation of strongly linked hydrogen‐bonded bilayers parallel to (101), with an interplanar distance of 3.18 (1) Å and a stacking separation between the bilayers of 3.10 (1) Å, both of them governed by extended π–π interactions. The disordered nature of the solvent water molecules around inversion centres is discussed. The monoaqua compound is compared with the octahedral diaqua analogue, [Cu(C4H4O5)(C6H6N2O)(H2O)2], reported recently [Perec & Baggio (2009). Acta Cryst. C 65 , m296–m298].  相似文献

The novel title hybrid isomorphous organic–inorganic mixed‐metal dichromates, [Ni(Cr2O7)(C10H8N2)2] and [Cu(Cr2O7)(C10H8N2)2], have been synthesized. A non‐centrosymmetric three‐dimensional (4,6)‐net is formed from a linear chain of vertex‐linked [Cr2O]2− and [MN4O]2+ (M = Ni and Cu) units, which in turn are linked by the planar bidentate 4,4′‐bipyridine ligand through the four remaining vertices of the [MN4O]2+ octahedra. There are two such three‐dimensional nets that interpenetrate with inversion symmetry.  相似文献

The structure of the ionic title compound, (C5H7N6)2[Nd2(C5O5)4(H2O)8], consists of anionic dimers built around an inversion centre and is made up of an NdIII cation, two croconate (croco) dianions and four water molecules (plus their inversion images), with two noncoordinated symmetry‐related 2,6‐diamino‐1H‐purin‐3‐ium (Hdap+) cations providing charge balance. Each NdIII atom is bound to nine O atoms from four water and three croco units. The coordination polyhedron has the form of a rather regular monocapped square antiprism. The croconate anions are regular and the Hdap+ cation presents a unique, thus far unreported, protonation state. The abundance of hydrogen‐bonding donors and acceptors gives rise to a complex packing scheme consisting of dimers interlinked along the three crystallographic directions and defining anionic `cages' where the unbound Hdap+ cations lodge, linking to the mainframe via (N—H)Hdap...Owater/croco and (O—H)water...NHdap interactions.  相似文献

In the title PbII coordination polymer, [Pb(C16H10O4)(C14H8N4)(C3H7NO)]n, each PbII atom is eight‐coordinated by two chelating N atoms from one pyrazino[2,3‐f][1,10]phenanthroline (L) ligand, one dimethylformamide (DMF) O atom and five carboxylate O atoms from three different 4,4′‐ethylenedibenzoate (eedb) ligands. The eedb dianions bridge neighbouring PbII centres through four typical Pb—O bonds and one longer Pb—O interaction to form a two‐dimensional structure. The C atoms from the L and eedb ligands form C—H...O hydrogen bonds with the O atoms of eedb and DMF ligands, which further stabilize the structure. The title compound is the first PbII coordination polymer incorporating the L ligand.  相似文献

In the title compound, [Cu(C8H4O5)(C5H5N)2]n or [Cu(OH‐BDC)(py)2]n (where OH‐H2BDC is 5‐hydroxyisophthalic acid and py is pyridine), the Cu atoms are coordinated by two N atoms from the pyridine ligands and by three O atoms from hydroxyisophthalate ligands in a highly distorted triangular bipyramidal environment, with Cu—O distances in the range 1.941 (4)–2.225 (5) Å and Cu—N distances of 2.014 (6) and 2.046 (6) Å. The [Cu(OH‐BDC)]n two‐dimensional network is built up from interlocking 22‐, 15‐ and eight‐membered rings via sharing of Cu atoms and O—H⋯O hydrogen bonds. Consolidation of the packing structure is achieved by edge‐ or point‐to‐face C—H⋯π interactions and offset or slipped π–π stacking interactions.  相似文献

The title ionic zinc–acetate complex, [Zn(C2H3O2)(C12H12N2)2]2(S3O6)·5H2O, contains a ZnN4O2 nucleus provided by the three bidentate ligands acting in a chelating mode. The trithionate unit, in turn, acts as an isolated charge‐balancing counter‐ion. The structure has a three‐dimensional assembly achieved through three different interaction types, viz. Coulomb, hydrogen bonding and π–π. The trithionate group and one of the solvent water molecules are disordered around inversion centers.  相似文献

The title ionic compound, (C7H8N3)2[Ho2(C4H5O2)8], is constructed from two almost identical independent centrosymmetric anionic dimers balanced by two independent 2‐amino‐1H‐benzimidazol‐3‐ium (Habim+) cations. The asymmetric part of each dimer is made up of one HoIII cation and four crotonate (crot or but‐2‐enoate) anions, two of them acting in a simple η2‐chelating mode and the remaining two acting in two different μ22 fashions, viz. purely bridging and bridging–chelating. Symmetry‐related HoIII cations are linked by two Ho—O—Ho and two Ho—O—C—O—Ho bridges which lead to rather short intracationic Ho...Ho distances [3.8418 (3) and 3.8246 (3) Å]. In addition to the obvious Coulombic interactions linking the cations and anions, the isolated [Ho2(crot)8]2− and Habim+ ions are linked by a number of N—H...O hydrogen bonds, in which all N—H groups of the cation are involved as donors and all (simple chelating) crot O atoms are involved as acceptors. These interactions result in compact two‐dimensional structures parallel to (110), which are linked to each other by weaker π–π contacts between Habim+ benzene groups.  相似文献

In the crystal structure of the title compound, [N,N′‐bis(3‐aminopropyl)ethylenediamine‐κ4N,N′,N′′,N′′′][1,3,5‐triazine‐2,4,6(1H,3H,5H)‐trithionato(2−)‐κ2N,S]zinc(II) ethanol solvate, [Zn(C8H22N4)2(C3HN3S3)]·C2H6O, the ZnII atom is octahedrally coordinated by four N atoms [Zn—N = 2.104 (2)–2.203 (2) Å] of a tetradentate N‐donor N,N′‐bis(3‐aminopropyl)ethylenediamine (bapen) ligand and by two S and N atoms [Zn—S = 2.5700 (7) Å and Zn—N = 2.313 (2) Å] of a trithiocyanurate(2−) (ttcH2−) dianion bonded as a bidentate ligand in a cis configuration. The crystal structure of the compound is stabilized by a network of hydrogen bonds.  相似文献

The title compound, [Zn(C8H5O4)2(C10H8N2)2], was obtained by the hydrothermal reaction of ZnSO4·7H2O with phthalic acid (H2pht) and 4,4′‐bipyridine (4,4′‐bipy). Crystallographic analysis shows that it has a one‐dimensional double‐chain structure via hydrogen‐bonding interactions. Each ZnII atom, adopting a distorted tetrahedral geometry, is coordinated by two N atoms from two 4,4′‐bipy ligands, with Zn—N distances of 2.054 (4) and 2.104 (4) Å, and by two O atoms from symmetry‐related Hpht ligands, with Zn—O distances of 1.921 (4) and 2.019 (4) Å.  相似文献

A previous analysis [Fatila et al. (2012). Dalton Trans. 41 , 1352–1362] of the title complex, [Ce2(C5HF6O2)6(C4H10O2)3], had identified it as Ce(hfac)3(dme)1.5 according to the 1H NMR integration [hfac = 1,1,1,5,5,5‐hexafluoroacetylacetonate (1,1,1,5,5,5‐hexafluoro‐4‐oxopent‐2‐en‐2‐olate) and dme = 1,2‐dimethoxyethane]; however, it was not possible to determine the coordination environment unambiguously. The structural data presented here reveal that the complex is a binuclear species located on a crystallographic inversion center. Each CeIII ion is coordinated to three hfac ligands, one bidentate dme ligand and one monodentate (bridging) dme ligand, thus giving a coordination number of nine (CN = 9) to each CeIII ion. The atoms of the bridging dme ligand are unequally disordered over two sets of sites. In addition, in two of the –CF3 groups, the F atoms are rotationally disordered over two sets of sites. This is the first crystal structure of a binuclear lanthanide β‐diketonate with a bridging dme ligand.  相似文献

The title novel heterometallic 3d–4f coordination polymer, {[CuEr2(C5HN2O4)2(C2O4)(H2O)6]·3H2O}n, has a three‐dimensional metal–organic framework composed of two types of metal atoms (one CuII and two ErIII) and two types of bridging anionic ligands [3,5‐dicarboxylatopyrazolate(3−) (ptc3−) and oxalate]. The CuII atom is four‐coordinated in a square geometry. The ErIII atoms are both eight‐coordinated, but the geometries at the two atoms appear different, viz. triangular dodecahedral and bicapped trigonal prismatic. One of the oxalate anions is located on a twofold axis and the other lies about an inversion centre. Both oxalate anions act as bis‐bidentate ligands bridging the latter type of Er atoms in parallel zigzag chains. The pdc3− anions act as quinquedentate ligands not only chelating the CuII and the triangular dodecahedral ErIII centres in a bis‐bidentate bridging mode, but also connecting to ErIII centres of both types in a monodentate bridging mode. Thus, a three‐dimensional metal–organic framework is generated, and hydrogen bonds link the metal–organic framework with the uncoordinated water molecules. This study describes the first example of a three‐dimensional 3d–4f coordination polymer based on pyrazole‐3,5‐dicarboxylate and oxalate, and therefore demonstrates further the usefulness of pyrazoledicarboxylate as a versatile multidentate ligand for constructing heterometallic 3d–4f coordination polymers with interesting architectures.  相似文献

The title organic–inorganic hybrid compound, [Co(C10H8N2O2)2(H2O)2]2[Mo8O26]·2H2O, consists of [Co(bpdo)2(H2O)2]2+ (bpdo is 2,2‐bipyridine N,N′‐dioxide) and ξ‐[Mo8O26]4− groups in a 2:1 ratio, plus two water solvent molecules. The independent Co atom in the cation is coordinated by four O atoms from two bpdo ligands and two water molecules, in a distorted octahedral geometry. The counter‐anions, built up around a symmetry center, are linked by solvent water molecules through O—H...O hydrogen bonds to generate two‐dimensional layers, which are in turn linked by coordinated water molecules from the cationic units through further O—H...O hydrogen bonds, forming a three‐dimensional supramolecular structure.  相似文献

A novel dinuclear bismuth(III) coordination compound, [Bi2(C7H3NO4)2(N3)2(C12H8N2)2]·4H2O, has been synthesized by an ionothermal method and characterized by elemental analysis, energy‐dispersive X‐ray spectroscopy, IR, X‐ray photoelectron spectroscopy and single‐crystal X‐ray diffraction. The molecular structure consists of one centrosymmetric dinuclear neutral fragment and four water molecules. Within the dinuclear fragment, each BiIII centre is seven‐coordinated by three O atoms and four N atoms. The coordination geometry of each BiIII atom is distorted pentagonal–bipyramidal (BiO3N4), with one azide N atom and one bridging carboxylate O atom located in axial positions. The carboxylate O atoms and water molecules are assembled via O—H...O hydrogen bonds, resulting in the formation of a three‐dimensional supramolecular structure. Two types of π–π stacking interactions are found, with centroid‐to‐centroid distances of 3.461 (4) and 3.641 (4) Å.  相似文献

In the title dinuclear acetate‐bridged complex, [Cu2(C2H3O2)3(NCS)(C10H9N3)2], the two Cu atoms are five‐coordinated, with a basal plane consisting of two N atoms of a di‐2‐pyridylamine (dpyam) ligand and two O atoms of two different acetate ligands. The axial positions of these Cu atoms are coordinated to N and O atoms from thiocyanate and acetate molecules, respectively, leading to a distorted square‐pyramidal geometry with τ values of 0.30 and 0.22. Both CuII ions are linked by an acetate group in the equatorial–equatorial positions and have synanti bridging configurations. Hydrogen‐bond interactions between the amine H atom and the coordinated and uncoordinated O atoms of the acetate anions generate an infinite one‐dimensional chain.  相似文献
