The crystal structures of three quinuclidine‐based compounds, namely (1‐azabicyclo[2.2.2]octan‐3‐ylidene)hydrazine monohydrate, C7H13N3·H2O ( 1 ), 1,2‐bis(1‐azabicyclo[2.2.2]octan‐3‐ylidene)hydrazine, C14H22N4 ( 2 ), and 1,2‐bis(1‐azoniabicyclo[2.2.2]octan‐3‐ylidene)hydrazine dichloride, C14H24N42+·2Cl? ( 3 ), are reported. In the crystal structure of 1 , the quinuclidine‐substituted hydrazine and water molecules are linked through N—H…O and O—H…N hydrogen bonds, forming a two‐dimensional array. The compound crystallizes in the centrosymmetric space group P21/c. Compound 2 was refined in the space group Pccn and exhibits no hydrogen bonding. However, its hydrochloride form 3 crystallizes in the noncentrosymmetric space group Pc. It shows a three‐dimensional network structure via intermolecular hydrogen bonding (N—H…C and N/C—H…Cl). Compound 3 , with its acentric structure, shows strong second harmonic activity.  相似文献

The planar component of 2‐{3‐cyano‐4‐[3‐(1‐decyl‐1,4‐dihydroquinolin‐4‐ylidene)prop‐1‐enyl]‐5,5‐dimethyl‐2,5‐dihydrofuran‐2‐ylidene}malononitrile, C32H46N4O, (I), forms into layers parallel to the (01) plane. The larger of the two spaces between layers is filled by the alkyl chains, giving a `sandwich stack' appearance. The packing of 2‐{3‐cyano‐4‐[5‐(1‐decyl‐1,4‐dihydroquinolin‐4‐ylidene)penta‐1,3‐dienyl]‐5,5‐dimethyl‐2,5‐dihydrofuran‐2‐ylidene}malononitrile, C34H38N4O, (II), which has partial disorder in the 1‐decyl group, utilizes weak C—H...N, C—H...O and C—N...π interactions in a three‐dimensional `herring‐bone' array with molecular segments parallel to the (111) and (1) planes. Different rotational isomers with respect to the polyene chain and the 5,5‐dimethyl‐2,5‐dihydrofuran‐2‐ylidene link are observed in the two structures. The significance of the study lies in the delocalization of charge along the polyene chain and the supramolecular aggregation present, which highlight the difficulty in obtaining the noncentrosymmetric alignment required for high nonlinear optical (NLO) responses in zwitterionic chromophores.  相似文献

The title compounds, namely (2Z)‐1‐(4‐bromophenyl)‐2‐(pyrrolidin‐2‐ylidene)ethanone, C12H12BrNO, (I), (2Z)‐1‐(4‐bromophenyl)‐2‐(piperidin‐2‐ylidene)ethanone, C13H14BrNO, (II), and (2Z)‐2‐(azepan‐2‐ylidene)‐1‐(4‐bromophenyl)ethanone, C14H16BrNO, (III), are characterized by bifurcated intra‐ and intermolecular hydrogen bonding between the secondary amine and carbonyl groups. The former establishes a six‐membered hydrogen‐bonded ring, while the latter leads to the formation of centrosymmetric dimers. Weak C—H...Br interactions link the individual molecules into chains that run along the [011], [101] and [101] directions in (I)–(III), respectively. Additional weak Br...O, C—H...π and C—H...O interactions further stabilize the crystal structures.  相似文献

The compounds N‐[2‐(4‐cyano‐5‐dicyanomethylene‐2,2‐dimethyl‐2,5‐dihydrofuran‐3‐yl)vinyl]‐N‐phenylacetamide, C20H16N4O2,(I), and 2‐{3‐cyano‐5,5‐dimethyl‐4‐[2‐(piperidin‐1‐yl)vinyl]‐2,5‐dihydrofuran‐2‐ylidene}malononitrile 0.376‐hydrate, C17H18N4O·0.376H2O, (II), are novel push–pull molecules. The significant bonding changes in the polyene chain compared with the parent molecule 2‐dicyanomethylene‐4,5,5‐trimethyl‐2,5‐dihyrofuran‐3‐carbonitrile are consistent with the relative electron‐donating properties of the acetanilido and piperidine groups. The packing of (I) utilizes one phenyl–cyano C—H...N and two phenyl–carbonyl C—H...O hydrogen bonds. Compound (II) crystallizes with a partial water molecule (0.376H2O), consistent with cell packing that is dominated by attractive C—H...N(cyano) interactions. These compounds are precursors to novel nonlinear optical chromophores, studied to assess the impact of donor strength and the extent of conjugation on bond‐length alternation, crystal packing and aggregation.  相似文献

The analysis of the crystal structures of rac‐3‐benzoyl‐2‐methylpropionic acid, C11H12O3, (I), morpholinium rac‐3‐benzoyl‐2‐methylpropionate monohydrate, C4H10NO+·C11H11O3·H2O, (II), pyridinium [hydrogen bis(rac‐3‐benzoyl‐2‐methylpropionate)], C5H6N+·(H+·2C11H11O3), (III), and pyrrolidinium rac‐3‐benzoyl‐2‐methylpropionate rac‐3‐benzoyl‐2‐methylpropionic acid, C4H10N+·C11H11O3·C11H12O3, (IV), has enabled us to predict and understand the behaviour of these compounds in Yang photocyclization. Molecules containing the Ar—CO—C—C—CH fragment can undergo Yang photocyclization in solvents but they can be photoinert in the crystalline state. In the case of the compounds studied here, the long distances between the O atom of the carbonyl group and the γ‐H atom, and between the C atom of the carbonyl group and the γ‐C atom preclude Yang photocyclization in the crystals. Molecules of (I) are deprotonated in a different manner depending on the kind of organic base used. In the crystal structure of (III), strong centrosymmetric O...H...O hydrogen bonds are observed.  相似文献

There has been much discussion in the literature of the azo–hydrazone tautomerism of pigments. All commercial azo pigments with β‐naphthol as the coupling compound adopt the hydrazone tautomeric form (Ph—NH—N=C) in the solid state. In contrast, the red pigments 1‐[4‐(dimethylamino)phenyldiazenyl]‐2‐naphthol, C18H17N3O, (1a), and 1‐[4‐(diethylamino)phenyldiazenyl]‐2‐naphthol, C20H21N3O, (1b), have been reported to be azo tautomers or a mixture of azo and hydrazone tautomers in the solid state. To prove these observations, both compounds were synthesized, recrystallized and their crystal structures redetermined by single‐crystal structure analysis. Difference electron‐density maps show that the H atoms of the hydroxyl groups are indeed bonded to the O atoms. Nevertheless, a small amount of the hydrazone form seems to be present. Hence, the compounds are close to being `real' azo compounds. Compound (1a) crystallizes with a herring‐bone structure and compound (1b) forms a rare double herring‐bone structure.  相似文献

Two novel cocrystals of the N(7)—H tautomeric form of N6‐benzoyladenine (BA), namely N6‐benzoyladenine–3‐hydroxypyridinium‐2‐carboxylate (3HPA) (1/1), C12H9N5O·C6H5NO3, (I), and N6‐benzoyladenine–DL‐tartaric acid (TA) (1/1), C12H9N5O·C4H6O6, (II), are reported. In both cocrystals, the N6‐benzoyladenine molecule exists as the N(7)—H tautomer, and this tautomeric form is stabilized by intramolecular N—H...O hydrogen bonding between the benzoyl C=O group and the N(7)—H hydrogen on the Hoogsteen site of the purine ring, forming an S(7) motif. The dihedral angle between the adenine and phenyl planes is 0.94 (8)° in (I) and 9.77 (8)° in (II). In (I), the Watson–Crick face of BA (N6—H and N1; purine numbering) interacts with the carboxylate and phenol groups of 3HPA through N—H...O and O—H...N hydrogen bonds, generating a ring‐motif heterosynthon [graph set R22(6)]. However, in (II), the Hoogsteen face of BA (benzoyl O atom and N7; purine numbering) interacts with TA (hydroxy and carbonyl O atoms) through N—H...O and O—H...O hydrogen bonds, generating a different heterosynthon [graph set R22(4)]. Both crystal structures are further stabilized by π–π stacking interactions.  相似文献

Two methyl derivatives, five‐membered methyl 2‐{2‐[2‐(9,10‐dihydroacridin‐9‐ylidene)‐1‐methylhydrazinyl]‐4‐oxo‐4,5‐dihydro‐1,3‐thiazol‐5‐ylidene}acetate, C20H16N4O3S, (I), and six‐membered 2‐[2‐(9,10‐dihydroacridin‐9‐ylidene)‐1‐methylhydrazinyl]‐4H‐1,3‐thiazin‐4‐one, C18H14N4OS, (II), were prepared by the reaction of the N‐methyl derivative of 4‐(9,10‐dihydroacridin‐9‐ylidene)thiosemicarbazide, C14H12N4S, (III), with dimethyl acetylenedicarboxylate and methyl propiolate, respectively. The crystal structures of (I), (II) and (III) are molecular and can be considered in two parts: (i) the nearly planar acridine moiety and (ii) the singular heterocyclic ring portion [thiazolidine for (I) and thiazine for (II)] including the linking amine and imine N atoms and the methyl C atom, or the full side chain in the case of (III). The structures of (I) and (II) are stabilized by N—H...O hydrogen bonds and different π–π interactions between acridine moieties and thiazolidine and thiazine rings, respectively.  相似文献

In 6‐methyl‐N‐(4‐nitrobenzoyl)‐5,6‐dihydropyridin‐2(1H)‐one, C13H12N2O4, (I), the piperidone ring is in a distorted half‐chair conformation. In 8‐methoxy‐3‐methyl‐N‐(4‐nitrobenzoyl)‐1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8‐octahydroisoquinoline‐1,6‐dione, C18H20N2O6, (II), the heterocyclic ring is in a slightly distorted half‐boat conformation, while the other six‐membered ring is in a distorted chair conformation. Compound (II) presents a strong intramolecular C—H?O hydrogen bond. In both (I) and (II), the molecules interact through C—H?O interactions.  相似文献

2‐{3‐Cyano‐4‐[4‐(N‐formylanilino)‐trans‐1,3‐butadienyl]‐5,5‐dimethyl‐2,5‐dihydrofuran‐2‐ylidene}propanedinitrile, C22H18N4O2, (I), and 2‐{3‐cyano‐4‐[6‐(N‐formylanilino)‐trans,trans‐1,3,5‐hexatrienyl]‐5,5‐dimethyl‐2,5‐dihydrofuran‐2‐ylidene}propanedinitrile, C24H20N4O2, (II), show the alternating single/double‐bond behaviour of push–pull chromophores. In the two structures, the planar polyene chains are twisted with respect to the furanylidene ring by 18.2 (2) and 12.4 (2)°, respectively. Comparison with structures of related and parent molecules shows subtle but consistent bond‐length variations consistent with charge‐delocalized structures. Crystal cohesion is provided by various sets of hydrogen bonds, viz. C—Hmethyl...Ncyano and bifurcated (C=C—H)2...O=C in (I), and C—Hmethyl/phenyl...O and C=C—H...Ncyano in (II).  相似文献

A new polymorph of the cinnamic acid–isoniazid cocrystal has been prepared by slow evaporation, namely cinnamic acid–pyridine‐4‐carbohydrazide (1/1), C9H8O2·C6H7N3O. The crystal structure is characterized by a hydrogen‐bonded tetrameric arrangement of two molecules of isoniazid and two of cinnamic acid. Possible modification of the hydrogen bonding was investigated by changing the hydrazide group of isoniazid via an in situ reaction with acetone and cocrystallization with cinnamic acid. In the structure of cinnamic acid–N′‐(propan‐2‐ylidene)isonicotinohydrazide (1/1), C9H8O2·C9H11N3O, carboxylic acid–pyridine O—H...N and hydrazide–hydrazide N—H...O hydrogen bonds are formed.  相似文献

The crystal structure of N‐[(1‐{2‐oxo‐2‐[2‐(pyrazin‐2‐ylcarbonyl)hydrazin‐1‐yl]ethyl}cyclohexyl)methyl]pyrazine‐2‐carboxamide monohydrate (Pyr‐Gpn‐NN‐NH‐Pyr·H2O), C19H23N7O3·H2O, reveals an unusual trans–gauche (tg) conformation for the gabapentin (Gpn) residue around the Cγ—Cβ1) and Cβ—Cα2) bonds. The molecular conformation is stabilized by intramolecular N—H...N hydrogen bonds and weak C—H...O interactions. The packing of the molecules in the crystal lattice shows a network of strong N—H...O and O—H...O hydrogen bonds together with weak C—H...O and π–π inteactions.  相似文献

The title compounds, C12H20N6O2, (I), and C5H9N3O2, (II), display the characteristic features of 1,2,4‐triazole derivatives. Compound (I) lies about an inversion centre which is at the mid‐point of the central C—C bond. Compound (II) also contains a planar 1,2,4‐triazole ring but differs from (I) in that it has a hydroxy group attached to the ring. Molecules of (I) are held together in the crystal structure by intermolecular N—H⋯O contacts and by weak π–π stacking interactions between the 1,2,4‐triazole moieties. Compound (II) contains intermolecular O—H⋯O and N—H⋯O hydrogen bonds.  相似文献

The X‐ray single‐crystal structure determinations of the chemically related compounds 2‐amino‐1,3,4‐thiadiazolium hydrogen oxalate, C2H4N3S+·C2HO4, (I), 2‐amino‐1,3,4‐thiadiazole–succinic acid (1/2), C2H3N3S·2C4H6O4, (II), 2‐amino‐1,3,4‐thiadiazole–glutaric acid (1/1), C2H3N3S·C5H8O4, (III), and 2‐amino‐1,3,4‐thiadiazole–adipic acid (1/1), C2H3N3S·C6H10O4, (IV), are reported and their hydrogen‐bonding patterns are compared. The hydrogen bonds are of the types N—H...O or O—H...N and are of moderate strength. In some cases, weak C—H...O interactions are also present. Compound (II) differs from the others not only in the molar ratio of base and acid (1:2), but also in its hydrogen‐bonding pattern, which is based on chain motifs. In (I), (III) and (IV), the most prominent feature is the presence of an R22(8) graph‐set motif formed by N—H...O and O—H...N hydrogen bonds, which are present in all structures except for (I), where only a pair of N—H...O hydrogen bonds is present, in agreement with the greater acidity of oxalic acid. There are nonbonding S...O interactions present in all four structures. The difference electron‐density maps show a lack of electron density about the S atom along the S...O vector. In all four structures, the carboxylic acid H atoms are present in a rare configuration with a C—C—O—H torsion angle of ∼0°. In the structures of (II)–(IV), the C—C—O—H torsion angle of the second carboxylic acid group has the more common value of ∼|180|°. The dicarboxylic acid molecules are situated on crystallographic inversion centres in (II). The Raman and IR spectra of the title compounds are presented and analysed.  相似文献

The crystal structures of three new solvates of olanzapine [systematic name: 2‐methyl‐4‐(4‐methylpiperazin‐1‐yl)‐10H‐thieno[2,3‐b][1,5]benzodiazepine], namely olanzapine acetic acid monosolvate, C17H20N4S·C2H4O2, (I), olanzapine propan‐2‐ol hemisolvate monohydrate, C17H20N4S·0.5C3H8O·H2O, (II), and olanzapine propan‐2‐one hemisolvate monohydrate, C17H20N4S·0.5C3H6O·H2O, (III), are presented and compared with other known olanzapine forms. There is a fairly close resemblance of the molecular conformation for all studied analogues. The crystal structures are built up through olanzapine dimers, which are characterized via C—H...π interactions between the aliphatic fragment (1‐methylpiperazin‐4‐yl) and the aromatic fragment (benzene system). All solvent (guest) molecules participate in hydrogen‐bonding networks. The crystal packing is sustained via intermolecular Nhost—H...Oguest, Oguest—H...Nhost, Oguest—H...Oguest and Chost—H...Oguest hydrogen bonds. It should be noted that the solvent propan‐2‐ol in (II) and propan‐2‐one in (III) show orientational disorder. The propan‐2‐ol molecule lies close to a twofold axis, while the propan‐2‐one molecule resides strictly on a twofold axis through the carbonyl C atom. In both cases, the water molecules present positional disorder of the H atoms.  相似文献

Methyl 2‐(3,4‐dichlorobenzoyl)‐1‐methylhydrazinecarbodithioate, C10H10Cl2N2OS2, (F1), butyl 2‐(3,4‐dichlorobenzoyl)‐1‐methylhydrazinecarbodithioate, C13H16Cl2N2OS2, (F2), and 3,4‐dichloro‐N‐(2‐sulfanylidene‐1,3‐thiazinan‐3‐yl)benzamide, C11H10Cl2N2OS2, (F3), were studied by X‐ray diffraction to test our hypothesis that planarity of aryloylhydrazinedithiocarbazic acid esters is a prerequisite for tuberculostatic activity. All compounds examined in this study are inactive and nonplanar due to twists along two specific bonds in the central frame of the molecules. The significant twist at the N—N bond, with an C—N—N—C(S) torsion angle of about 85°, results from repulsion caused by a methyl substituent at the N′ atom of the hydrazide group. The other twist is that within the benzoyl group at the C(O)—Ph bond, i.e. the N—C(=O)—C(phenyl)—C torsion angle: the values found in the studied structures (25–30°) are in agreement with those observed in other compounds containing a similar fragment. As some nonplanar benzoyl derivatives are active, it seems that planarity of the hydrazinedithioate fragment is more important for tuberculostatic activity than planarity of the aryloyl group.  相似文献

In the title compounds, 2‐methoxyethyl 6‐amino‐5‐cyano‐2‐methyl‐4‐(1‐naphthyl)‐4H‐pyran‐3‐carboxylate, C21H20N2O4, (II), isopropyl 6‐amino‐5‐cyano‐2‐methyl‐4‐(1‐naphthyl)‐4H‐pyran‐3‐carboxylate, C21H20N2O3, (III), and ethyl 6‐amino‐5‐cyano‐2‐methyl‐4‐(1‐naphthyl)‐4H‐pyran‐3‐carboxylate, C20H18N2O3, (IV), the heterocyclic pyran ring adopts a flattened boat conformation. In (II) and (III), the carbonyl group and a double bond of the heterocyclic ring are mutually anti, but in (IV) they are mutually syn. The ester O atoms in (II) and (III) and the carbonyl O atom in (IV) participate in intramolecular C—H...O contacts to form six‐membered rings. The dihedral angles between the naphthalene substituent and the closest four atoms of the heterocyclic ring are 73.3 (1), 71.0 (1) and 74.3 (1)° for (II)–(IV), respectively. In all three structures, only one H atom of the NH2 group takes part in N—H...O [in (II) and (III)] or N—H...N [in (IV)] intermolecular hydrogen bonds, and chains [in (II) and (III)] or dimers [in (IV)] are formed. In (II), weak intermolecular C—H...O and C—H...N hydrogen bonds, and in (III) intermolecular C—H...O hydrogen bonds link the chains into ladders along the a axis.  相似文献

The two title mononuclear compounds are four‐coordinate bis[N‐(5‐oxo‐4,4‐diphenyl‐4,5‐dihydro‐1H‐imidazolidin‐2‐ylidene)glycinato]copper(II) dimethylformamide disolvate, [Cu(C17H14N3O3)2]·2C3H7NO, (I), and five‐coordinate aquabis[N‐(5‐oxo‐4,4‐diphenyl‐4,5‐dihydro‐1H‐imidazolidin‐2‐ylidene)glycinato]copper(II) dimethylformamide disolvate, [Cu(C17H14N3O3)2(H2O)]·2C3H7NO, (II). In (I), the CuII ion lies on an inversion centre with one‐half of the complex molecule in the asymmetric unit, while in (II) there are two independent ligand molecules in the asymmetric unit, with the CuII ion and coordinated water molecule located on a general position. In both crystal structures, the complex molecules assemble in ribbons via N—H...O hydrogen‐bond networks.  相似文献

In order to investigate the relative stability of N—H...O and N—H...S hydrogen bonds, we cocrystallized the antithyroid drug 6‐propyl‐2‐thiouracil with two complementary heterocycles. In the cocrystal pyrimidin‐2‐amine–6‐propyl‐2‐thiouracil (1/2), C4H5N3·2C7H10N2OS, (I), the `base pair' is connected by one N—H...S and one N—H...N hydrogen bond. Homodimers of 6‐propyl‐2‐thiouracil linked by two N—H...S hydrogen bonds are observed in the cocrystal N‐(6‐acetamidopyridin‐2‐yl)acetamide–6‐propyl‐2‐thiouracil (1/2), C9H11N3O2·2C7H10N2OS, (II). The crystal structure of 6‐propyl‐2‐thiouracil itself, C7H10N2OS, (III), is stabilized by pairwise N—H...O and N—H...S hydrogen bonds. In all three structures, N—H...S hydrogen bonds occur only within R22(8) patterns, whereas N—H...O hydrogen bonds tend to connect the homo‐ and heterodimers into extended networks. In agreement with related structures, the hydrogen‐bonding capability of C=O and C=S groups seems to be comparable.  相似文献

The title compound, 2‐hydroxyphenyl 5‐(pyrrol‐2‐yl)‐3H‐pyrrolizin‐6‐yl ketone, C18H14N2O2, was isolated from the base‐catalyzed 1:2 condensation of 2‐hydroxyacetophenone with pyrrole‐2‐carbaldehyde. The pyrrole N—H and hydroxybenzoyl O—H groups are hydrogen bonded to the benzoyl O atom. The allylic C=C double bond of the 3H‐pyrrolizine system is located between ring positions 1 and 2, the C atom at position 3 (adjacent to the N atom) being single bonded.  相似文献
